Went here to view the McCurry photographic display at Pier 3/4. Fantastic show!! There are audio commentary on many of the photos, however, because of the building age, there are a lot of 'dead zones' where it won't come through on your mobile. It would be nice if they had a simple audio w/earphones system that could be carried along as you are walking through the exhibition. Also, this is a converted warehouse, it's not heated, so dress warmly. The photos are stunning and definitely worth the effort to see.

What's not to love about this location right on Sydney Harbour? Bridge views and more. Casual stroll around the Piers, where the views are world class and free

One of Sydney's great spaces between the Harbour Bridge and Barangaroo. Theatres, restaurants, art spaces, cafe's all on one of Australia's loveliest harbours

I regularly do stair running in this special location with fantastic harbour views. Cafes, restaurants and multiple theatres in this location. Also public sculture. Big negative is that the whole area is an ugly dirty construction site...i.e. Barangaroo. The area is in need of a big dominant sculpture of Barangaroo herself...preferably in her iconic and notorious dinner party outfit.

One of my favourite places to be. Right on the water, plenty of people parking is difficult so take the ferry, bus or park and walk to the area

Great waterfront views of the harbour, with some piers you can walk all the way down the length of the pier. Some are blocked off for construction however. Nice for walks along the pier. Some piers have cafes and shops available.

Must visit walk when in Sydney. Sight that not all Sydney-siders are aware it's there.

This pretty little area is well serviced by cafes looking across the wharves. Wander up the old wharves and see some of the archaeological artefacts found from colonial era Australia. Some streets lead you up into Miller's Point and some well preserved streetscapes and quirky laneways. grab a coffee and meat pie from IGA supermarket and sit on the wharf and watch the boats bob by.
