My husband and I are foodies, and come from many years of customer service. Lorenzillas is a 10/10. The service was spectacular, we never wanted for anything. The ambiance is beautiful, right on the water, we were able to watch fish and crocodiles throughout our dinner. The food, priced very well for what you get and the taste was just what we were looking for. There were so many things on the menu we wanted that we came back the next night. The Caesar salad was made from scratch right at your table and I wanted to lick the dressing off the plate, that's how good it was. There was a soup I got that I didn't care for, instead of just bringing me out a new soup, the manager came out and asked what they could have done differently, as it's important that they make quality food. I was so impressed that they went the extra mile. We will visit every time we come and send everyone we know here when they are visiting.

The BEST seafood I've had in a long time! The oysters and clams were sweet, clean and fresh! The lobster - which I selected from the pool myself was meaty and delicious. I chose the 3 chili sauce. The location and staff were perfect. The crocodile which hung out right over the railing enjoyed the little tidbits we all tossed at him. The fish too. I highly recommend though selected a whole lobster will make it a pricey evening. Opting for just the tail is a more reasonable way to go.

I have booked a different location but they have accepted us in Cancun branch. Food was good You will be given a bread basket which we thought was complimentary but you’ll find out at the end that you have to pay for it even though we didn’t order a bread basket. No one tells/ask you if you want it or not plus not getting informed it’s for a fee. Great service, the staff were really attentive. Interior design of the place was fabulous. They also gave us free birthday cake

Definitely worth the visit. You will not find nouvelle cuisine. Instead expect a moment frozen in times of “old-school beach elegance”. Noble dark wood bungalow style, maritime motifs, and palm thatch ceilings. Food is very traditional but perfectly executed, served in restaurant monogrammed dinnerware. The views are graceful and the service impecable. Come not to be surprised but to enjoy a delightful moment for a special celebration. Expect to spend 100-150 per person.

I had the pleasure of going to Cancun, Mexico for my birthday and Lorenzillo's was recommended to me by a coworker who visits Cancun often. So I booked a reservation for 7pm on my birthday and I WAS SO HAPPY I HAD DINNER THERE!!! The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL on the outside as well as the inside. I looked forward to being able to dine inside but still get an outdoor dining experience while being so close to the water. I wanted to eat & see a shark like my coworker told me I'd most likely see but it started to rain a bit & the staff came to pull the shades down immediately so we wouldn't get wet...the staff is very friendly and professional without being overbearing( trying to get a good tip). The food though...THE FOOD IS AMAZING HERE!!! I don't want to eat shrimp scampi anywhere else lol. The drinks, appetizers, everything was delicious. Our waiter heard me mention my birthday and bought me a small chocolate cake that I unfortunately couldn't finish because I was stuffed. I will Definitely be going back here when I get to Cancun again. I recommend everyone to eat here😊😋

Everyone I was with concurred that this was the best dining experience we'd ever had💥 I think our waiter's name was Hector and his helper was Alonzo. Hopefully if they see these pics, they'll remember who had our group. But everyone we encountered seemed genuinely kind and dedicated to providing excellence. We didn't see any crocodiles but we heard a few regulars might show up to visit. AMAZING ambiance and service! Highly recommend😇❤

A great escape from the hotel zone for date night. We dined on the patio and had fantastic service, delicious food and an overall great experience. The wine list is extensive and has several options. We went with a white wine from Chile that was great. We shared the table side Caesar that was incredibly fresh and authentic. For dinner we had the Scallops/Shrimp and seafood pasta. Some of the most tender scallops I have ever had. A unique experience for couples or families that I highly recommend!

What a disappointment, the food was astronomically expensive and mediocre at best. I wouldn’t mind paying almost $300 for lunch if the food reflected the price. I ordered one Margarita ($20) which I had to return to be fixed as it was extremely bitter, too much lemon and no balance of flavors. A Ltr bottle of Fiji water was $10 +. Found a piece of shell on the scallops, the grilled lobster and shrimp dish (Lepanto) was overcooked and salty. The lobster bisque had not a single piece of lobster and not much lobster flavor. We, unfortunately, thought their seafood was going to be outstanding based on the reviews, but it was just awful. Live and learn.

Mixed feelings. Food and service are undoubtedly good and therefore deserves 4 stars, however it can’t be denied that this is a very touristic restaurant and as such you overpay for the very same food you can find cheaper elsewhere. If you are one of those tourists that only stays in the hotel area of cancun this is a good option, however if you are a bit more adventurous you can find better options elsewhere

Upscale, fresh, chic pirate themed seafood place in Cancun’s Hotel zone. They have a huge seating area with indoor and outdoor options. Service, food, and ambience are worth the price.

We loved this place! There are tons of hip and delicious restaurants in Cancun - but this one is a little older looking than some, but what a great place! We chose it because they source their seafood locally, it has been open for ages and by partner really wanted some langoustines! It has such a nice atmosphere inside, very nautical inside, staff is an absolute delight, food was fantastic cocktails too! It also has a great setting with sunset over the bay.

First time I was here 4 years ago. Since then I visit Lorenzillo’s every time I am back to Cancun. High quality food and service. The lobster croquettes and signature chocolate lava cake are as wonderful as I remember them trying first time. Until next time, adios!

Delicious seafood option with excellent service. The views from the outdoor seating were great. Located literally over the water.

The food we had here was great! The restaurant is very cozy with sea theme. The waiters was observant. The price was to the higher side but worth it.

Great restaurant food was excellent, service was good. We started with an appetizer of the stone crabs. From there we had Caribbean lobster. Celebrating a birthday and they gave a complementary dessert. Overall a very nice night of dining. Watch out for the big alligator he was looking for some table scraps.

We were visiting from El Paso Texas and celebrated my Brother's birthday, beautiful place great food but my lobster was cold. I warmed it with the butter .. very romantic

The food and service was excellent, but most of all I was impressed by the crocodile that swam up to us. Because we have never seen a crocodile live, and even so close. So there was everything, delicious food, delicious drinks, good waiters and unexpected entertainment.

From the start, to finish, unparalleled service. Just when we thought last night was the best food during our stay here comes along Lorenzillo's. We decided not to have an appetizer and go with Grilled Seafood Platter-- Pirates Special for two. Grilled shrimp served atop of a grilled pineapple. The soft shelled crab was delicious. The lobster was just enough!! Grouper fish was fantastic and cooked to perfection. I forgot the Oysters Rockafella!!! I could have just ate those for a meal. My friend had a mango 🥭 daiquiri and she loved it!!! Miguel and Guillermo were great 👍🏾. They made the evening great. They let us try a salad dressing they prepared for a table next to us. They made the dressing right in front of us!! Never tasted a salad dressing so fresh. I wish I left a $1million tip. Just a special evening. Great food and better service. I'm going back.

We had a great experience. The food was great (lobster tacos and crab sallad). And the staff where really kid friendly which is always a plus. If you are lucky you can spot the croc named Lorenzillo inspecting the lunch guests.

Not worth the price , lobster tale is over cooked + calamari as well. If you have a wrist band from any resort be prepared to get scammed they over price everything for tourists. people are very nice and friendly food is not so good , little flavor. Red lobster would be a better option , enter at your own risk better restaurants out here. I have a local friend that lives here and told me what to order. the same thing he always gets I got and they charged me 100$ US dollars more because they noticed my wrist band. I showed my friend the receipt and he was also shook at how much they took advantage of the situation.

My girlfriend and I went to Lorenzillo’s this evening for dinner and it couldn’t have been better. From the food, to the service, to the view, everything was excellent. We got to see the sun set right on the water and right after dinner a crocodile came right up to us. The bread and fish empanada they brought out to start was amazing. We ordered the breaded crab and calm chowder as an appetizer which was also incredible. For dinner my girlfriend got coconut shrimp and I got the fish filet stuffed with crab, lobster, and shrimp, it couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend this place if traveling to Cancun, the price for everything considered is more than reasonable, I would’ve paid double in America for everything we got here. I’m very picky and I have nothing to say negative about this place.

Delicious from start to finish. Service was on point and we were greeted every step of the way. Everyone worked as a team to get your food ready and dirty plates were constantly changed. Would highly recommend, but be ready to spend some money as this restaurant is not cheap.

Had a great dinner here tonight. The food was fresh and very flavorful. We had the sunset to our left and outstanding service from David and Alfredo. The food is high quality and presentation is wonderful. Didn’t disappoint.

What a great meal. Relaxing evening watching the sun go down. We shared the seafood platter, and tried everything. Service with “Izzy” was top notch. Highly recommend.

What an amazing selection of seafood! The lobster is selected by you and the head waiter who will grab it out of the small boat located at the front door & place it on a scale right in front of you for actual weight & tell you the price. It’s considered the oldest restaurant in Cancun 1683. A++++

The BEST lobster I've ever had. On the menu, in the lobster section- it's called langosta con rajas de chile poblano al gratin". Which is basically a lobster covered in amazing cheese, tiny bits of chilis, & breadcrumbs. Really, it was like the best cheese in the world, and I didn't notice the chilis/bread crumbs. IF YOURE GETTING LOBSTER GET IT COOKED THIS WAY. My fiancé got his with the basic garlic butter sauce and he was like, "yours is way better" Service was awesome! There also was a crocodile!! I was sad because the croc was only staying by this one family, and our server made baby crocodile noises to call the croc over to us. It was one of our favorite things we did in cancun and if your staying at an all inclusive....your stomach deserves a break at Lorenzos!!!!!!
