Wow! This place is a hidden gem! After a week here I finally found a place worth reviewing. Our family has eaten out every night here for the past week. Some good, some just okay. This place: hands down best. Small restaurant, about 8-10 tables, overlooks the bay, tucked behind other businesses. The service was best we’ve had, the food so delicious. Six people in our group and every item tasted so fresh and real! Tried the flan, lemon pie, and chocolate cake, all good desserts. They have some type of salsa I’ve never tasted and it was just the right spicy and soooo good! I asked if they sold it by the bottle — sadly they don’t. This restaurant beats the 7 others we’ve so far tried (all kinds). Don’t miss out on surely one of the best restaurants in La Zona Hotelera!

Great Mayan Food, delicious drinks, lovely sunset view, excellent service. Mayan Show was wonderful! Skip your crummy hotel food & visit this little hidden gem! Its next to 7-11 mini mart & in the back, look for aqua fun sign, near boat rental.. worth finding!!

Beautiful outdoor dining experience. Must try the avocado stuffed with shrimp appetizer! The pepper stuffed with shrimp and chocolate cake were also excellent. They have a Mayan show on Wednesdays and saxophone & bongo players on Sundays.

Beautiful little spot right at the marina. Not busy, food was great, really good Mayan cuisine and overall a 5 star experience. There was an excellent saxophone musician playing live music, staff was very professional, and as others mentioned- a beautiful sunset. Great place, and we would certainly return to this hidden little gem.

Perfect for watching the sunset! Live music and wonderful food! Make an evening of it. We had the yuca chicken and salmon with fruit mole; not your ordinary menu.

Great food, excellent service, live music and lovely view. HOWEVER - they upcharged us "tip included fees" without letting us know that the tip was included. If we hadn't added the bill carefully we might not have noticed. This left us feeling upset.

We had dinner almost every night at this place while staying for a week in Cancun. Everything on the menu was delicious, friendly staff/great service, and with a good atmosphere. Highly recommended for a big group, small group, a couple, or a family like us. We will definitely go there again when we visit Cancun next time!!!

Decided to stop by here for a late lunch. The food and drinks were amazing, I had the grilled octopus and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. He had the Mahi Mahi and it was cooked perfectly. The service was amazing and our server was attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back here

We always come here every trip to Cancun. They have great regional recipe food, which we love. Service is very gracious, and they frequently have entertainment. It's a do not miss, place.

Wonderful place! It was a little hard to find but going here is definitely worth it! We had soups, a main course, and the key lime pie and the pie was the best key lime I've ever had! Everything was delicious and the price was affordable!

Nice place, with very friendly staff and excellent food. The pulp marinated in lemon with some green pepper was very fine as well as the «cheeso rellado », wich looks like a small lasagna in a tapioca/mais suppe

A quiet and hidden gem found on the Lagoon side of the Hotel Zone. Excellent food and beverages that are far superior to what the resorts serve. The staff is attentive and gracious. Sundays and Thursdays feature a sax player who is so very good and caters to the crowd(we had 4 teens and younger in our group and he played music that kept them very engaged as well as the older crowd.) Highly recomend the Molcajete and Coconut Shrimp! Oh, and if you just want a burger and fries.... AMAZING!!

Wow, what a find! This little restaurant is tucked behind other businesses off the main road. We made a reservation, arrived early, and enjoyed a drink before dinner. The atmosphere is top-notch, a great place to enjoy the sunset. The service was good, friendly but they were down a person so their main host was busy! We were not in a rush, so it wasn't a problem for us. They had live music, he played lots of us oldies but goodies. The food was so, so,good. Very tasty and plentiful serving size. If you haven't found this gem yet, ......I hope you do!

AMAZING food! I was about to walk away initially because it appeared very "touristy" but then the waiter asked me what do you want to eat and I asked him if they have tacos. They didn't have that on the menu but they offered me fajitas off the menu. Made it so much special! And the food was SO Tasty!

From appetizer to dessert all ended with clean plates! Hands down the best Yucatecan food in the entire hotel district. We’ve been coming back every year for at least 5 years.

Have eaten at Xkatic two nights in a row and probably will eat there every night of our stay in Cancun. Great menu, better staff (Carlos & Francisco were amazing), reasonable prices, and sunset views from your table every night. Just go here, you won’t regret it.

OMG, their food is wonderful!! We've eaten there twice in three days. Enrique and Carlos are right on top of things. They are both very helpful and friendly. Enrique remembered what we liked and how we liked it, drinks and food. Going again before leaving. Love this place. Highly recommend. And I never give any business 5 star rating.

This place had some of the most delicious food and service in our two weeks trip through Yucatán peninsula. The waiters are very kind and the prices are fair, and in addition the place has a beautiful view! I highly recommend this place. They have jazz playing on Thursdays and Saturdays and Mayan show on Wednesdays.

10/10 highly recommend ! So upset we found it so late. It’s a hidden gem for sure! Dinner was immaculate. Flavorful, perfect portion, and can’t forget the beautiful lagoon view ! Staff is super friendly & attentive! Highly recommend the tamarindo margarita! Super delicious !

Really nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was nice too. We had the local speciality dish - chichinita pibil, and the fish of the day. Both were very nice. The fish was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. I can see why it has such good reviews!

Excellent service and a must stop. This place is kind of hidden and will miss it if you drive by since there is not a big sign. The food is done to perfection.

Great food, it's Mayan rather than Mexican so a little different from other food while still being authentic. Prices are very reasonable, and you can get a great view of the sunset. Only downside is that it's outdoors with no AC

A hidden gem. Really lovely restaurant with a great view of the lagoon. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, excellent service. They didn't have anything vegetarian on the menu but they gave me 3 off menu options to choose from (stuffed pepper, fajitas, pasta) which was great. Definitely recommend!

Everything was delicious. Thank you. I really enjoyed the shrimp avocado and the coconut shrimp the most.

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese. When I seen it first I was kind of irritated how they just put the veggies in the omelette but I must admit it was very good. As you know already I like it simple, fresh, and good. The dish came with chips and an awesome...
