Delicious and Beautiful restaurant on the water. Food was amazing, refreshing, and diverse. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Cocktails were also very well made and very creative. We had our own cabana on the water for our dinner party, and it was amazing. During dinner, I noticed a wild CROCODILE had snuck up under the dock. It was almost like a dinner and a free show. He was a decent size as well. Check my videos. I would come back to this Restaurant, and highly recommend it for others as well.

Romantic and amazing! The location and ambiance are beautiful. Great dinning experience! The coconut shrimp are a must! We also had Veracruz fish and Popeye's grouper. For desert, the chocolate delight was truly amazing. Incredible atmosphere and fine dinning. The wine and tequila selection is great.

If great food is important to you, this may not be the place for you. To be clear, the quality of food is excellent, taste not so much. If you want a place with a perfect ambiance and delightful drinks, then this is your go-to. Our waiters were pleasant and seemed dedicated to service.

We went here from a recommendation from a colleague who was here 3 weeks ago and from a local. It’s unfortunate to say that this beautiful place was a BIG disappointment. Though the atmosphere overlooking the lagoon is priceless, it still does not make up for the ugly ugly rude service from our server Victor and the bad food. Not sure what this man had going on but rude doesn’t even cut it. After 20 minutes of being seated and no one coming to our table, we ended up flagging down someone to bring us water. 10 minutes after asking for the water, Victor our server, comes hurried to the table saying “ Okay, c’mon what do you want, let’s go” for the record we don’t know this guy and never met him before so not sure why he was talking to us like this. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and food and waited and waited and waited… finally received our drinks; strawberry mojito, Paloma, regular mojito and a passion fruit with Tito’s. I have to say none of our drinks were good. I had to go to the bar with two of the drinks for them to fix them. The appetizers came; shrimp ceviche, octopus carpaccio, roasted poblano with quinoa. The roasted poblano sat in a bed of refried beans which the beans were good but lukewarm. The ceviche was flavorless and the octopus carpaccio was okay. For the entrees we ordered the lobster (which they over cooked) they brought two butters for the over cooked lobster; popcorn butter which was disgusting and a garlic butter which was good, the lobster tacos (which tasted like freezer burn taquitos from some convenient store), the tuna steak was overcooked as well, and the last entree was the flank steak which was fair at best but lukewarm. Not sure if our food sat in the kitchen or what but, I can’t even explain. After all this, Victor did not come to check in and ask about the food or if we wanted more drinks. We had to keep stopping bus boys for more water. Again, we flagged down another waiter and asked for our check since Victor never came back once he took our order. Victor finally showed up with our bill and then disappeared again, when he finally came back he was bothered that we were using an American Express card because he needed a different card reader. When he came back with the AE card reader he was hurrying us about how much to type in for his tip. After all that the card reader was not connecting and we had to go to the bar to use something else which didn’t work and he proceeded to tell us “No American Express, Visa, visa!” We ended up paying in cash. Again, this place is beautiful but that’s it. Food was not good, service was terrible. I know places can have an off day but this went beyond that. I will not come here again. The funny thing is that above the bar they have a sign that reads “ God owns this business and we just manage it” the sign should read “God owns this business and we mismanage it.” God doesn’t like ugly! Here are some pictures of the place and food… please don’t be fooled something that looks pretty doesn’t mean it’s good! This is what we would call a TT (Tourist Trap)

Very tasty food! Smallish portions but extremely flavorful. Great service. We were seated very quickly with no wait. It’s located on the lagoon and we sat out on the dock. I would say it’s more upscale than say a restaurant at Market 28. However, we wore casual clothes. Reasonably priced too. You should definitely try Navios!

This is a beautiful, romantic restaurant largely situated on some docks in the lagoon. As a result, it is very breezy so you may want to wear a light jacket when you come here. They served our large party well, and we all loved our dishes. I would definitely come here again!

I cannot say enough about how great of an experience we had at Navíos! The view, the service, the food were all exceptional! We went on a Saturday at 6pm. Walked up, no reservations. Immediately seated. All the staff were wonderful. The sun was setting as we ate and it’s beautiful from any seat. Bring sunglasses 🕶️. We had fish tacos (pescadillas), cebiche, shrimp bamboo avocado salad. Beautiful plate presentations. Facility seemed clean. Only 1 complaint was we asked for our change back (225 pesos) and no one ever brought the change back. We were going to tip most of that but needed some of it back but they never brought it after maybe 15 minutes so we decided to leave it as extra tip. There was also a saxophone player and the music was nice!

By far one of the best meals I had in Cancun. Really reasonably priced and nice portion sizes, with 5 dishes we had to take some of it home. Every dish was really fresh using quality seafood and great techniques. The menu was upscale but also using traditional dishes that were elevated. The menu was also very elaborate, maybe as many as 60 different dishes. The drink menu was also very elaborate with a great selection of cocktails, wines and champagnes. You can have a nice romantic dinner sitting right by the water side, there’s actually fish swimming directly below you as you dine.

Great dinner on the water with a few friends. We ordered the seafood platter it comes to the table warm and still slightly cooking. Includes an array of shellfish and other scaled fish.... basically a lot of seafood. Great place for food, drinks, and photos on the water. FYI: I did get sick at night and caught a stomach bug but because of the timeframe we ate dinner and other food prior, I can't definitively say this restaurant was the cause and my review was based on the experience in the moment

Was expecting a little better and service felt little rushed. However, there is not much to complain. Food was good but not as good as some of the other restaurants we tried in Cancun and salsa could have been better. Maybe we were expecting typical Mexican taste. Location is amazing though. Overall recommended to go once to check if your taste buds feel like it.

Me and my partner visited Navios this evening and absolutely loved this place. Beautiful setting, atmosphere and great customer service. We have been served by Gabriel and Bravlio whom were very attentive. They took some lovely photos of us and when I got a little bit cold I got a blanket to cover myself with which was a big thumbs up for me. 👍 The food was well presented, very tasty and portions were great size. Overall 9/10. 1 mark down as I was looking forward to seeing the live saxophone but unfortunately the gentleman didn't manage to make it.

Great experience last night. We came after sunset, so the place had plenty room. We got a quiet table seats two with excellent view to the lake. Service was quick and very polite. All staff speak English well. Menu is a great selection of local seafood with some well known western style dishes on top. Not cheap, but in this area I wouldn't expect that neither. If you're familiar with the menu and the portion sizes, I'm sure you can get a nice dinner for two around a thousand pesos. Worth the shot for sure.

2 stars for the location and the decoration. It’s idyllic. But the food deserves the restaurant. Almost well presented but not tasty and not well cooked. Really disappointing. And way too expensive for what you get. Cocktails are not better. Really nice to see but nothing wahoo when drinking. Forget it.

What a beautiful setting! Gabriel was such a joy to have as a server. Great service with a smile! Had the lobster tacos and they were amazing. My husband had the lime soup...presentation & taste was awesome. He also had the chicken dish which was so enjoyable. Can't beat the atmosphere! Sitting right on the water ... so very beautiful!

So good that we are here twice during our vacation. Servers were very attentive and Alberto May provided us exceptional service on our second visit. Their Golden Margarita was the best marg I had in Cancun

This place was magical. Our waiter provided us excellent recommendations, including the Hogfish fish of the day. We wanted to stay to watch the sunset so he helped us move to a better table to finish our wine and enjoy the spectacular view.

One of the good things of getting our flight canceled was finding this spot. It has some of the best seafood in the area. We had the camaronillas - shrimp quesadillas. Filled with tasty shrimp. My tacos were very flavorful. My husband thought the rice and seafood mix was delicious. We live in an area where Spanish/ Portuguese mixed rice is in every restaurant. He said it surpassed any he had eaten. Our server Braulio was very attentive and gave us good suggestions on what to choose for drinks and dinner. I recommend this place with its romantic setting. It has soft music playing with outdoor open air lighting.

Navíos was truly an amazing experience. The indoor dining area is beautiful and they had a saxophonist playing a vast genre of music indoors and out doors. The outdoor dining is breathtaking and relaxing t the same time. You are surrounded by water on platforms that extend in each direction with fish swimming under the deck. I had the Toronja Romero cocktail with was refreshing and delicious. The house made bun and butters in the banana leaf and corn husk were very good. The Camaronillas ( shrimp quesadillas) we awesome, the tuna tartare with a squeeze of lime was delicious and refreshing on a hot day, and the large coconut shrimp in the mango sauce was plum and super tasty. I will definitely be returning.

I'd definitely recommend this place! The service was amazing, the views are incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. We made a reservation the day of and went around 4pm and it wasn't very crowded. The next day was the last day of our trip and the food was so good that we ended up going again. The second time we didn't make a reservation and just walked in. The seafood is very fresh, everything we tried was delicious and the vibes were incredible. We got drinks, an entree and shared a dessert and it came out to be just a little over $40 USD each including the tip. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone visiting Cancun. The accept card and don't require a reservation, although I'm sure for big groups or during busy times a reservation is preferable.

Honestly, I’ve traveled to many areas of the world and eaten many fine meals along the way. This place is one of my absolute favorites. Accidentally spotted it off the side of the road, and spontaneously decided to leave the resort for lunch here. As with most restaurants in Cancun, service was incredíble, awesomely polite staff and the best bay views you could ask for in Cancun for a nice lunch or dinner. Recommend x10. We went around 4pm, asked for “the best table you have” and were seated at it immediately. Surf and Turf will be a lovely vacation treat for you. Experience the vibe/atmosphere and enjoy!

Terrific restaurant - super tasty food (I recommend the seafood soup and coconut shrimp), friendly service and nice ambience by the water with live saxophone music. If you have a larger party, there’s nice secluded areas outside. If you are outside past sundown, you gotta be careful about the bug bites outside though, they got me pretty good… Happy to return again. Just got to remember to bring insect spray.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing fresh food and great service! The location is stunning, the live music was awesome and the service was so kind! We loved the avocado salad, the octopus and the tapioca. A must go for a quiet romantic evening!

If you are in Cancun, you defenitely have to stop here. The scenery The service is outstanding, the food is even better. They have many variety of dishes you can choose from as well as drinks. We dined here on our last night and it was perfect for our ending trip. We also got a chance to see the Crocodiles lingering around.

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese.
