Hi everyone, well Sanborns is a Dennis USA style restaurant. it has a bit of everything, and a hearty breakfast. 😋 broths and roast beef Aparti from 8 am. fresh juices, fruit flavored waters, vegetables, and smoothies, sandwiches...etc. I liked it and came back several times, if you go visit it, take a little patience with you 😂 lol.... I think the use of masks is super unnecessary since it is not mandatory to use them, the waitresses have to wear a mask due to restaurant policy and this makes it difficult to understand when they say or try to explain something about your order, another problem is the waiters are too distracted , and the bathrooms are dirty

The place is not bad but also nothing special. The restaurant is located next to the ADO Bus Terminal which is quite convenient if you continue to travel. The food was good. Nevertheless it seemed like the waitress handled us differently than the locals. We had to ask for everything even though things should be included in the „menu“. Service is not the fastest but the Ambiente is nice.

Opens at 7 a.m. now. Had a cappucino, they put in cinnamon. Nice place, but too fancy for me. They have an ATM that worked fast and charged 17.5 pesos per withdrawl.

Great food terrible service had to wait forever for my coffee and cake and the waiter seemed to give off attitude for a simple request of more sauce won't return to this place again after a lukewarm experience. Expected better for the high prices

It was just okay, I ask for salt and pepper for my soup and they never brought to me, order a lunch special with desert which I have to ask for, they didn't offer but they are charging you for it, and when I was paying asking for a tip, in general I tip even if service is average, but place wasn't that busy and they don't do basic things you epextng, tip is supposed to be earned.

I really like this place, the food is pretty good and the prices are fair. I have tried their ham and cheese omelette (really good!), steak tacos (delicious!) club sandwich (it’s ok, they pound the chicken so thin it’s thinner than a slice of ham), naranjada mineral (delicious!) and coffee (mmmm!). The atmosphere is kinda bland but I don’t go there for that, I like to sit by the windows and look at the tourists run across the busy streets. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that sometimes it feels like some of the staff hate each other. Other times it feels like the staff is just too over worked to take care of another customer. It makes me feel uneasy and like if I should just leave or take my food to go. I will repeat that their coffee is pretty good - it is so difficult to get a simple, hot, cup of coffee in Cancun. Everyone wants to make a latte or espresso. #Facepalm

This restaurant is situated in a highly convenient location next to the Cancun ADO bus station, presenting an upscale atmosphere compared to its nearby competitors. However, based on my two visits within a six-month span, I found the service to be consistently subpar. The food lacks flavor, and despite addressing the issues with management, there was no effort to rectify the situation. I am uncertain about returning in the future.

Large list of options on the menu, but none of it was any good. My food was both overcooked and cold at the same time, service was terrible, slow, and they expected to be tipped on top of all this. Plenty of better restaurants to choose from, I won't be returning again.

If you're visiting cancun, this is a must go if you want to have a nice mexican breakfast or an american one if you want something simple. The wait for service might be longer at some point, but it is worth it for the food quality.

Its been years I have not eaten in this great hot spot. The food is still exquisite as always. The service is great! The staff are courteous and friendly! I will definitely come back here.

they didn't know what vanilla is haha. it's all good. what's not good is how overpriced this place is. the usd equivalent of 15 dollars for 2 eggs, a hash brown, a few sausage links, toast, orange juice, and a few pieces of fruit no coffee. lulz....read the reviews folks you have been warned. what a joke...

The food is not that great, the price is right but the staff is incompetent except for this waiter with a Spanish accent who was the one who brought us our drinks. He was excellent I wish I knew his name.

Our friend lives in Cancun. He suggested we meet at Sanborns Cafe. A great choice We had local treats as well as comforts of being home in Los Angeles. Their Papya líqüido is so good, you can’t stop saying, “another one please “.

Always a good place to eat. Service was very good. Food excellent. Being one of the beloved family restaurants of Mexicans. Sanborns does not stop in delivering great memories. I was born in Mexico City and Sanborns Cafe was very much a part of my life. For family night out , and now in Cancun during my new life here in the Rivera Maya excelent for dates, to eat their famous Enchiladas Verdes. Keep it up.

A so-so experience. We were first told to get the menu via the QR code on the table. That brought back a picture of the menu which required panning and zooming around to read. I had seen regular menus so we asked for those and got them. Much easier to read. An actual online menu would have been fine but a picture of the menu doesn't work well on a small phone screen. They immediately pushed us to buy some 2-for-1 drink specials and later there turned out to be some confusion over the price of those. After that service was slow. The food we ordered was good, especially the vegetable soup and enchiladas suizas but the food was only warm, not hot, when it arrived. I expected the food to be overpriced and it was, especially the 2-for-1 drinks. Not sure if I would go to a Sanborns again.

Pretty fantastic authentic experience. Bit of breakfast before a coach ride. First meal in Mexico and I have to say it impressed. The filter coffee was tasty and breakfast

No instant coffee here. Traditional Mexican or USA meals. Come for good bottomless coffee and if tired of small portions. Seems to be partial to older indigenous women who know how to serve you efficiently. Neither hole in the wall nor tourist trap. Next to ADO bus station.

Have eaten here a few times. The food in every Sanborns has been pretty good but the attentiveness of your server has a lot to do with your experience at any restaurant. We have had good and not-so-good waitresses in this particular Sanborns. The location is great, close to ADO.

Always excellent and high standard. The enchiladas con mole are delicious!

Only ate here because I had to stay closeby. The service is good but, sometimes the servers can be too attentive. They are quick to clear dishes from the table and they might grab something you're not finished with. The pineapple juice was extra sweet, maybe from a can. The chilaquiles were decent.

Love sanborns in general, and this branch is not the exception. The coffee, the branding, the China is something to enjoy every time. The only thing I would love to see at this branch is a parking area as it is located in front of the ADO bus terminal it can get very busy, but since there is parking area it is hard to go there often.

A little more expensive that your local off street restaurant but has exceptional food and service.

A delicious weekend buffet and a great menu. They keep up the tradition, the environment and the service. It is open 24/7, that is why it is called Sanborn's Café. They also have a bookstore section where you could find mags, nespapers, books, souvernirs and more. Great place to be with family and friends. Due tu Coronavirus regulations, now they close at 10 pm. ;)

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese. When I seen it first I was kind of irritated how they just put the veggies in the omelette but I must admit it was very good. As you know already I like it simple, fresh, and good. The dish came with chips and an awesome...
