This amazing spot is really close to the lobster beach. Just go to the right side for a bit and remember, leave it the way you found it...clean, so someone else can enjoy it too. Some Hotels really put the effort and $$ to take care of the sargasso on their part of the beach. Hopefully, Hotels & the government will continue with the cleaning efforts.

Beautiful beach with soft sands, large waves for surfing, less crowded than Tamarindo, but very close to Tamarindo. The beach is super clean and has the most beautiful sunsets

It's A Nice Beach, i enjoyed it. Water is a nice blue color. Small waves here.. however there is Better Ones further Down as far as turquoise beaches. Parking is limited. I Love that it has the Cancun letters, and a kids playground. Bathrooms were locked like at 4ish pm.. ☆☆PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH☆☆

Great public beach for tamer waters. Water is shallow and mainly still. Entrance is between two hotels. You have to stop and have them open the chain gate for you to park. Seems intentionally misleading but reduces the amount of people. Mainly locals at this beach.

Beautiful beach with tons of tanning & swimming area. Quiet, relaxing, never felt crowded when we visited. The only downside is that it’s a bit hard to access from the road - we had to walk a long way to find the entrance. There are beach chairs everywhere and wave runner rentals.

They have public free parking but only if you go to the beach, if you are looking parking for taking the ferry this is not the place. It’s a really nice place, there’s like a little spot we’re they rent umbrellas and chairs, also there are public showers, it’s really helping for all the sand over your body.

Great beach for kids & adults. My daughter is 1 year old and it was perfect. Shallow and the waves were not too crazy. Parking is limited but free, free bathrooms, and free rinse off station! Great beach!

Great food and staff. We decided to take a walk with the kids and heard great music coming from a small bar. We decided to see it and ordered drinks. The staff was friendly and we decided to order the food too. Best decision we ever made. Great wings and burgers.

This place is perfect for families with children. No big waves, lots of sand to walk in the water to enjoy it. And small little fish to clean your feet 😄🙌🏻

Went on the weekend and was virtually empty. Beautiful beach with minimal surf which was perfect for my youngest son. There was a man walking up and down selling ceviche for a few dollars. Well worth it. Please don't be like those few jerks asking him to take 10 photos of you and not tip or buy from him. Great restroom facilities, a few places to grab some food, but highly recommend packing some water and some snacks and carry the trash back to the parking area where you can toss it. We saw beautiful fish, caught a crab, and found some outstanding shells for my son's collection.

Perfect beach for the family , especially with kids as water isn’t deep at all . Downside is there isn’t many trees or anything u can cover urself to be under a shadow. ( unless u bring ur own beach 🏖 umbrella . Just a few of them by the wall so if u get there early then ya u might get the spot ! There is this hotel breathless , they have their beds and u can rent them from anyone.

A nice representative beach from Cancún. It has its big letters, nice locker rooms and a public shower to eliminate the sand. It has a small parking lot but you can also park your bike there. The sad thing is that some people drink beer while being in the water and they drop the glass containers into the ocean and it is a common practice, from locals and tourists. No police officers to make them behave. Be careful while walking on the shallow water, because you can walk for about 50 meters, try to use aqua shoes to prevent injuries. The rest is beautiful.

The beach itself is nice but be warned- Casa Maya (the hotel lying across the right side of this beach) are not friendly to visitors and will charge you a large amount to sit on their sun loungers, then only allow you to eat/drink if bought from them! We found a nice spot by the bar with shade to avoid the lounger fees and drank our own beers before buying some of the best pina coladas I’ve ever had (which gained 2 of the 3 stars!)

Beautiful beach to watch the sunrise. Not crowed and you can rent chairs with umbrella to enjoy a perfect day at the beach

Suring this time of the year there is so much seaweed everywhere, so that’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. However, there is significantly less seaweed in Playa Langosta than in a lot of the whole strip of beaches, all the way down to Tulum. The biggest plus is that it’s a public beach. There are hotels there but as long as you’re not using their chairs and umbrellas you can walk, swim snd sit there all you like.

Beautiful beach! We port to our private catamaran there for our snorkeling trip. So much fun!

Beautiful place. It is now better than before. They are taking good care of the beaches. I hope everyone who visit beaches left the place as clean as they found it. Unfortunately, Mexican tourism is the worst. They are very rude to local workers who just trying to keep the place in good shape for everyone. Mexican tourist don't have respect for others' work or for other people. They think of themselves only. And, if they are rich or they think so, then they think all others are obligated to serve them. They expect a beautiful place and a good service, but don't have the will to do something for nature. I could write many, many unpleasant more things about Mexican tourism, but it is not worth it. They don't care. Anyway, enjoy this beautiful beach, be kind to the people who take care of it, and put the trash in the basket or take it with you.

The beach is very shallow, not possible to swim at all if you are not a kid. A lot of seaweed in the water as well as on the sand, smells bad. The sunset though is very beautiful.

Nice local spot. Lots of families. Easily accessible. Big shallow beach area. If you have a problem with fish, maybe not. Lots of small fish swimming around.

Who keeps giving these 4/5 star reviews its like people who have come out the jungle and never seen a beach before get really excited. This is not a good beach, minimal sand, minimal wind, totally busy and is literally taken up mostly by the 2 hotel beach chairs which they charge between 350-550 to rent. Avoid this beach if you want space and tranquility. Very densely packed with families

👍👍 One of the best shows I have been to. I got a regular seating and that was great. Unless you wanted to be seated without partying , regular ticket should be good.
