We walked here from our accommodation in the morning and we didn’t expect it to be so nice here. We saw so many different animals and birds, we loved the iguanas! The walk is very easy and great in the park, sadly we didn’t see any crocodiles in the lagoon which would have been cool. The toilets here were clean and free. Please bring bug spray as there are a lot of mosquitos around, it is also a great place for a run and to have a picnic! There is free parking at the front here and a playground inside also. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

How shameful that with all the tourist money that pours into this city annually, seemingly none of it or very little is spent on the upkeep of this urban park. The children's playground is completely out of action through neglect and needs a total replacement. The pond for the iguanas looks filthy. And the coatis appear to be fed by humans. The museum was shut and the whole place seems very sad. It's a good walking and running track. But don't bother taking your kids.

Very nice park. Maintained trail. I went there on a Wednesday and there weren't many people. So I was able to appreciate the are of nature. It's a very nice place to take pictures. Magical place in the heart of Cancún, not very touristy and free. Parking if you go by car.

Absolutely beautiful. Some of the structures off the way were a bit dilapidated, but everything close to the main paths was well maintained. There were play areas, an exercise area and fantastic wildlife! Absolute must if you're in the area

Nice park, but more to take a run or do some sports. Not that many sightseeing (no active animals or special forest)

Lovely park with shaded, winding pathways. Free and open to the public with clean bathrooms! Lots of history to learn, birds and animals to see, and a museum.

It's a very cute trail with a museum and a pawn, a few bars for workout, it goes a long way in a few direction, it's very quiet and there some ancient hits to see, some turtles and they did great job on the landscape design

Nice and cute park for a stroll. Pros - May get a chance to see the delightful coati. They are adorable. Don't disturb them, obviously. - Nice, peaceful walking/jogging paths. - Exercise area. - Nice little pond with terrapins and a sad single koi fish. - Small playground for da kids. Cons - Sort of in the middle of nowhere. Took me about 45min to walk there. Drive if possible; there is a parking lot. - Toilet is sus. Only one working cubicle.

The park was quite empty, the taps weren’t working, the toilets were closed and I only saw these 2 species of animals. Make sure to bring mosquitos spray if you ever wanna visit it.

What a beautiful park in the middle of the city. It's definitely work a visit. Well your there keep your ears and eyes open for a opportunity to see some of the local native animals.

Very cool experience. Do not come here without mosquito repellent. I came for 15 minutes before I was completely surrounded by mosquitoes and fighting for my life. The animals walking around are peaceful though but the mosquitos caused me to leave early as they saw my untreated skin as an all you can eat buffet. Again come with mosquito repellent ON.

We didn't see any animals, everything was closed, including the small museum. Overall, that's the only place in cancùn that I felt very unsafe ! There was literally no one on the trails. Arrived near the center of the "park", we saw few families.

A beautiful park hidden away in the heart of Cancun. Wonderful walking paths, access to free bathrooms and family activities available to the public. From what I could understand the park runs off of donations, and it seems it is in need for various repairs. Buildings and pathways seemed closed extensively. Still worth a visit!

Beautiful park sparsely attended on weekdays but a nice respite from the tourist locations that are frequent in the Cancún area. Plenty of tree cover and sporadic animal sightings are pleasant during the hot period of the day.

Unexpected stop. I was amazed by the nature in the middle of the city. I saw a couple of iguanas, a Scorpion, turtles, a kind of raccoon, and so on. I'd recommend visiting it. Parking is free of charge.

Bad directions for toilet had to go in the woods and obviously got bitten, so had to put more mosquito repellent. It’s trees with a paths in between it would couldn’t find the museum. Luckily we ignored google maps and saw the trees across the road so we went through the back entrance where the locals park up so we didn’t have to walk the further 15 minutes that this app suggested and used our common sense and eyes.

The Kabah Ecological Park is a small jungle in the middle of a disordered city. Everyone have to contribute to take care of this beautiful place. All citizens should be attentive even for what administrators do because, some times, they are more dangerous for the park. Every day, we have to keep an eye on our beautiful park.

The park is beautiful and clean. You can see raccoons here if you are lucky and also turtles. There are opportunities to do sports here and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, you can see that the outside is not completely clean. There are often piles of garbage along the fence. However, the park inside is nice and clean.

Wonderful park. Make sure you stop by when visiting Cancún! The greenery is gorgeous and you can see walking by the "coati" original from this region.

It was alright, quite chill and basically nobody was there. Worth a visit if you’re around downtown but not if you only have limited time in Cancún✌🏽

If you visit Costco it's literally across the street! What a great place to escape the city and traffic. It's quiet and a great place to plug back into nature.

Lovey place to see birds and animals and have a walk. It’s a pity though that number of activities is small.

  • 5/5 Lyosha V. 1 year ago on Google
Love this park. Lots of shade. Neat paths. A fair number of animals to encounter. Often some holidays. Perfect for families. Nice to jog in

Great spot to walk and is alot cooler than the streets, only downside is they close the gates prompt at 6pm so you gotta climb out

Beautiful, calmly and very relaxing place to find for the hustle and bustle of Cancun, come early and start to day off even if you are visiting.

  • 5/5 Reyna S. 2 years ago on Google
Very tranquile, relaxing environment and everyone we saw or ran into said hi! Great place to jog or just walk, I will definitely return.

Great park. Got followed by some coati- I suspect locals feed them. I liked the free outdoor gyms too.

  • 5/5 Luke D. 1 year ago on Google
Good park to walk around. A little boring. I do like that it tries to conserve the environment in a big city like Cancun.

  • 4/5 Amity C. 6 years ago on Google
Fun, free nature preserve and park. Playgrounds for little kids, exercise and weight equipment and walking loop. We saw lots of coatis, and a great blue heron, iguana, and turtles plus a crocodile. Bring your own toilet paper for the restrooms. The museum wasn't open when we went.

Good place for a walk however it is basically a jungle with walking path. It's not a park per se. But there is a playground for kids etc.

  • 5/5 Keith K. 2 years ago on Google
A lot of the park was closed due to covid, but the shaded trails and cenotes along the path were well worth the trip! The full circuit around the trail is 1900 meters.

Beautiful park, great to be in nature

Beautiful shady park to walk or jog in but most of the park was closed except for the main walking path. You can find lots of Coati and some birds and lizards along the way. The park hours are from 6am-1pm Monday-Saturday.
