Checked into this suite 4 days back, the only and the only good thing about this suite was the view. The suite was spacious and neat. There was absolutely no water in the tap or the shower, it barely had droplets. No hot water at all. We complained twice, nothing really helped. I mean how do you not expect a very basic need? Because we were working through the week it was tricky for us to follow it through to get it fixed. They was absolutely no follow up if our issue was resolved. The house keeping was also very average, she made our bed and mopped the floor and left. I had to call her back to get us fresh towels and toiletries. Only later to realize that she didn't even change the sheets of the bed!!! She didn't even clear the dishes. There were no coffee supplies or napkins, just a coffee maker. The internet was really choppy and horrible, I ended up connecting from my phone to get my work done. Would not recommend this place, unless you get to really go in and check if you at least have water supply!!!

Loud. Very loud. The music at nearby bars kept us awake most of the night, despite being on the tenth floor and having the windows and storm shutters closed. It was still going when we left at 5am. The wind also howls against the building. Not sure why the ratings are high. Many of the amenities in the pictures (breakfast area) I never saw nor was told where to find. We were only here for one night so it didn’t matter but I found that odd. Staff were very friendly. Room was simple but clean.

Don't go there unless you want to spend sleepless nights due to very loud music in the area. The staff was not very helpful, and I HAD TO ASK THEM 3 TIMES to help me close the window curtains. Even with that, it didn't help, with the earplugs you can hear people partying till 5 a.m. This place is too expensive for 3 sleepless nights I spent there!

I had the economy room, which I knew ahead of time since I had an extended stay and wanted to stay within my budget. The room was a little small but expected. However, the shower only had cold to barely lukewarm water and the Internet and Wi-Fi service were very slow. I did a speed test to see if it was my device's or the actual internet and registered at barely twenty-eight kilobytes per second. Outside of those two issues, my stay was great. There were offers of daily housekeeping service which I did not utilize due to my extended stay. However, they were there. The room was initially very clean and staff very courteous. In addition to the affordability, the hotel is located and connected to the Plaza de Americas which made it very convenient for entertainment, food, and shopping needs. Security is very strong in the building which made me feel very secure since I was traveling on my own. I would very much consider returning and staying with this hotel again as long as internet and water issues are fixed in the future.

Extremely loud noise till 6 am both nights from outside. We closed the wind barriers, windows and everything but it was impossible to stop the sound. A hotel at we you can’t do the basic thing ie. to sleep, is not a hotel. Bad and slow service in general. Finding the entrance took us a while. A complicated system with towers on top of garage. The gym was a joke, machines are missing parts and or are broken. The best part was the guy working at the Parking who was very polite and always eager to help with a smile!

We spent 4 days here and we had a great time. The room was exactly like the pictures. Very spacious and clean. This suite is on a low floor so the view was mostly of the pool area but you still got a good view of the hotel zone. If you're not trying to stay at a resort you absolutely can't beat the location. It was literally walking distance to anything and everything. Food, bars, shopping, parks. With all that said. I spent 4 days there without hot water. They sent someone up twice and still couldn't figure it out. If it wasn't so hot outside that would've been a major issue. And the jacuzzi in the pool didn't work either so wasn't able to enjoy that either. Overall we had a great time and already recommending it to others. We will stay here again if ever in Cancun.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the receptionist's rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful behavior. We had booked a family suite for four people for a six-day stay, but we only intended to stay there for two days as we were traveling to different cities. However, I didn't realize that my booking was only for two adults until check-in time. When I discovered this, I requested the receptionist named Silvia to add the additional two people, and we were willing to pay an extra charge for the two days we were staying. However, they refused and said they would only allow the additional people if we paid for the full six days for these two people it cost us almost a thousand dollars. They seemed to be only after money, even though we had already paid for six days and were only staying for two days. Additionally, the shower didn't work properly, and it would stop in the middle of showering. The room didn't seem to be properly cleaned, and the flush wasn't working well. We called their manager named Diana to see if we could adjust our booking, but she ignored us. This was a terrible experience with the hotel, and we will never book this hotel again.

Con: Very difficult to find and poorly signed, no easy entrance if you don’t have a car. Next to a shopping mall which seems to have bars open until early hours with loud music - bring ear plugs! Slow wifi. No restaurant as seen in pictures. Pro: helpful staff, clean room, beautiful pool & good gym.

The suite are spacious and comfortable. All suites include the basic kitchen amenities to cook and clean. Washer and dry if you planning on staying and enjoying along holiday. The hotel as bicycle to rent to cycle round town. The parking area has a door leading into the mall. This is a great option then you save on taxi fare if you want to go to the mall for food and gift shopping.

This is not a hotel although advertised as a hotel. I had originally booked for 6 nights, I left after night 1. The rooms are not as advertised. The rooms are not clean. There is no consistently working WiFi connection. If you’re trying to save money by booking here, you are better off having a few cheap meals in order to book a hotel. When I went to check in at an actual luxury accommodations, when I told them where I was staying, they laughed and said everyone usually don’t make it past the second night before they go looking elsewhere. Checking in to the suites at malecon was beyond difficult so much so my shuttle driver from the airport started cussing in Spanish. The front desk is rude and doesn’t bother to even provide a semblance of customer service. Lastly another thing I notice for those flying out late and need to stow your bags, they keep the bags out in the open in their lobby. Super sketch! I am here for medical tourism and business, point blank period, I will never stay here again. I don’t care if I’m desperate. I’d rather sleep on the street.

Everyone should stay here. Finding it was difficult but very worth it. Excellent hotel with great booming mall & many good restaurant choices . In a safe area of downtown with easy access to hotel zone and airport! Wish I knew sooner! Fridge & micro w/ setting for 2 dishes & silver.

Noise! Noise! Noise for a whole night, and every night. We strongly complained but the staff replied that It is downtown Cancun, they can do nothing. It is a party music zone, so the location is great and so is the noise until morning. Other than that, it was OK. Oh, BTW, it is pretty windy and the wind slaps the windows glasses, again the hotel is not good for light sleepers.

Specious rooms, good and helpful service. Good view towards the Hotel Zone Shopping Mall almost at the same building. Bit noisy night life

I only recommend this place if you are desperate. Slow check in , rooms are super small , newer but poorly maintain. Manager is rude and not helpful about noise or constriction. Be ready to walk a lot to get in and out. We found better near by at the same price, with better view.

Loved the rooms, very spacious, and perfect for a family of 4. Security personnel were very friendly all the time. Good location eventhough the first time was tough finding the main office entrance. Housekeeping services - none received. However the place was too busy during the time we visited. Great pool! Definitely recommend

Location is perfect for downtown Cancun, very strict with who goes in hotel, security is strict, pool available, clean rooms, a/c works very well. Located next to a mall. My 2nd time staying at this place.

My stay at this hotel was horrible. Staff rude the maintenance guy doesn’t understand English. We had really no hot water it barely came out to shower. Then we had a lick from the ceiling room was never changed basically had to deal with it. I don’t recommend this hotel or location. If you aren’t Spanish u will catch hell. There are things around but the area is limited. A lot of the fun stuff is 20 min or more away and cab drivers really don’t want to go that far bc it’s a different zone. I had fun for my bday weekend but the hotel sucked nd area did too. I will NEVER RETURN to this hotel nor the location. Don’t waste your money‼️‼️

Not good at all. Specially when you get a suite from the lower floors. People at the pool can see inside the living room and bedroom.

Pros: The building is slightly modern, the room had great views and security is at to par. Cons: During check-in they require USD 100.00 Deposit that was is hidden somewhere is tiny prints. I missed this part and didn't know until my arrival. This should be emailed to the patrons as soon as they book as it's very easy to miss. I telework and was looking for a place with Great wifi. To my disappointment I could barely make a call, browse the internet etc. I checked out early as I was very frustrated with the internet and greatly inconvenienced. They do not refund for checking out early so check the refund policies before booking, it's one of the strictest. The pool was nice, however soon as I sat in the shallow end I noticed way too much debris in the water including some dead bugs. If one doesn't need use of internet, this would be an okay place to stay.

This place smells. The rooms smell musty, the paint is coming for the walls. The public amenities are very old and the building needs a coat of paint. Besides the view from photos on the website, it looks a lot older than it shows. I would not recommend staying here.

This is my 4th stay here, it's a good place it use to be great but they don't provide some amenities that they use to like paper towels and dish detergent for the kitchen. It use to be if you wanted a bottle of water because it is soooo hot, you could go into the office any time and grab one, now they guard it like gold. Building staff is still wonderful and housekeeping is so accommodating. Beautiful view, has a washer but no dryer. One bathroom shower never got hot. Love the fact that the supermarket and mall are attached.

Really liked the hotel and it is very safe, you need a key card to go anywhere or get in. It is also very clean and in a central location to go anywhere. There are some bars across the street so if you are looking for quiet this is not the place, but if you can over look that then it is a really nice place.

Great place overall. The downside was we had to turn the fridge off every night because it was so noisy, so you couldn't use it for much. Lovely outdoor area

loved it here. the room was exactly as advertised, the security of the building is top notch. the greeters at the lobby are amazon and so friendly. always have a smile and ready to assist. the rooms were always cleaned when i left outside, the towels always removed and sheets always changed. area is safe and has everything near it, lots of shops and restaurants and mall so if you are not renting a car it’s a good area for walking. if you don’t like noise at night from bars, you might not like this place because there is a nightclub or smth right across the street. but the noise didn’t both me, wasn’t that loud since i was on the 12th floor. especially when balcony is closed. only thing is the washer and dryer does not dry the clothes fully, it’s an air washer and with humidity, air drying outside takes a while. but great for the price, view is amazing and hot tub was great :)

I am staying at a standard room. Pros: - great view. The ocean view is great. - location. Easy access to the Las Americas mall. - good room lighting. - great pool. Cons: - standard room is NOT a suite. The room is very small. Has a closet, a king size bed and a furniture. bathroom is very small. - room needs remodeling. Cheap furniture. Cheap personal care items. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. - amenities are average. Not a 4 star hotel. If you go to the gym, you will see 4 machines and rusted equipment. - tours most likely will not have the option to pick up at this hotel due to difficult access from the outside. Therefore, you will have to walk to nearby hotels mostly. - ghost town. There is no bar, breakfast room or other common areas besides the lobby, outdoor sitting and the pool. Personally, next time I’d rather pay a few hundred more dollars and stay at another hotel with more amenities and options and more people.

Picked out a 2 bedroom apartment - positive notes: Spacious, nice decorations, friendly staff, mall / pool / gym access is great. Buildings have private entrance into Las Americas mall, very convenient to food, shopping, ATM's, movie theatre, and even a supermarket. Bus and taxis crowd the front of the mall, making it easy to get to places (ADO bus stop, beach, other areas). Would definitely stay here again! Negative notes: While staying here only one elevators worked, crowding the working elevator for staff / guests to use. Using the white-card "key" to access elevator floors was tedious. Finding the entrance / getting in was a chore - there is no direct entrance you can walk up to, you must be let in through the parking area into the building entrance to access the building elevator. Staff wanted to charge me to have my cousin come up to my unit, made him wait in the lobby while I went up to get my phone. Not really the buildings fault but other tourists wandering communal areas without masks was annoying.

Just check in. A bit slow. Navigating the place takes some time. No room service or onsite snack/gift shop, but adjacent to a major mall.

Everything was perfect. The rooms are very nice, quiet and comfortable. The facilities are fantastic. We loved the pool and the gym. It has a direct connection to the shopping mall/supermarket, so you have everything you need nearby. The service is fenomenal. Everyone working in the hotel is very kind and supportive.

The receptionist named Silvia is extremely rude and lacks manners. She is unwilling to help or show understanding. Additionally, the hotel only seems to have a good security system, as there are no other notable positive aspects.

  • 4/5 Kane N. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice staff, clean rooms, and the location is good since it's on top of a shopping mall. It's a good middle point to go somewhere else, but it feels like you need to arrange transportation very well beforehand, otherwise you are a bit isolated. Competition is tough, but if you compare prices they have really good deals.

I had amazing experience there! Place is nice, near to mall, restaurants and bars. Stuff is super friendly. I was there before check in and they let me to enjoy pool snd the same after check out. Highly recommended!

Rooms were large, staff was pleasant, the views were breathtaking, security was great, the balconies were big enough for 10 people to stand on. and the mall below the hotel was as nice as any in the world.

We stayed here in Jan 2022 for 6 days in a 2 bedroom suite. Definitely depends on what you're looking for when choosing to stay here. I knew it wasn't a resort. We chose it to be in the city of Cancun. Here is my breakdown. Positives: Close to the Las Americas mall and we found a place that charges $1.50 USD for tequila shots close by #winning. The mall had great places to eat in it and surrounding it. Movie theater and grocery store were in the mall as well. Loved that it had a washer/dryer in the room for us to do laundry. Can walk to the ADO bus station from here. We took the bus to Tulum for cheap! Negatives: The cleanliness of our room was horrible! I purchased cleaning supplies at the grocery store and did a deep clean immediatelhy. The purple couch had white stains on it, the coffee maker had not been clean. I'm a coffee drinker and cleaned it with vinegar several times. The sheets had yellow stains on them. We sat on the couch but only with a towel under us. I completely felt like they did the bare minimum to turn the rooms over. The pool was dirty with face masks and debris and we could not get in. Other things: it is not close to the beach. We knew this but pointing out to others. Security is top notch. No one is getting in unless you're a guest there or live there. It was incredibly cheap. We caught a deal for less than $600 for 6 nights.

The service was excellent from the time you check in to the time you check out. Rooms where nice and clean. The maids are really nice. For the price it was a steal for the week. I definitely recommend

The room was fine, it has a beautiful place but the check in was painfully hard. First, the place is hard to find. You need to find it in a parking lot but there are not clear indications where the hotel is supposed to be, then once they give you the keys they do not explain you in which floor your room is...
