Sadly this hotel is very run down and has terrible lighting conditions. It is in a bad part of el Centro. Online it looks like a decent place but once you get there, you realize is very sketchy. If you are a female solo traveler or need disability accommodations do not stay at this hotel. You will not feel safe, I saw the staff very rudely mistreat an elderly couple because they couldn't climb up the stairs to their room and wanted a different room! Horrible. The hallways are pitch black and the motion sensors are bad and take a while to turn on, very unsafe even if you want to go down the stairs. I left that same day. The attendants Maria and David were so rude to the guest and shady really poor costumer service. The only good part about this hotel was the restaurant staff and food. The rest was terrible. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Dirty hotel, found hairs in the bed sheets, there was big stains in the two beds sheets as well and in the towels too. Not hot water at all. The receptionists were not helpful y and comprehensive at all. It was the worse hotel we stayed during our entire trip in Mexico. Don’t go there, they don’t clean properly neither the rooms or the bed sheets. Disgusting

The woman on the reception was very unkind. The check in time was delayed almost one hour because, what we heard from the receptionist, ''the room is not ready yet".

Spent one night in this hotel (January 2023), booked a room for 4 people, the room was old, with dirty sheets, and noisy because of the bar below the hotel playing music until 1 of the night. For the price we paid (around 64 EUR), the service offered was extremely insufficient.

Ok, experience for one night, not going back! The receptionist was very bland and avoided speaking in English. All the hotel needed a refurbish and smell of mould. We had a few power cuts during our stay of one night. The Internet just works on the hallway. Very close to ADO bus station. OK for one night but not going back.

Overbooked and unfriendly service. Redirected us to a worse hotel. Don't be fooled by the appearance. Also, not worth staying in Cancun at all, go to playa del Carmen instead and then do a day trip to Cancun if you want

This place is beautiful and the service was amazing. The room wasn’t spotless but it was clean. The sheets were clean but it was only sheets with no blankets. The only reason that I don’t give them 5 stars is because they never said that the bars on that street play music everything at least till 3:15 am. E could not sleep because the music was so loud

The only reason why this was 'okay' is the friendly staff in the hotel. The location to get to places is fine - but the noise from the bar below is SO loud. This doesn't finish until 12am (if you're at the front of the hotel). The rooms were very dated - it felt like you were in a scene of the Flintstones with Beetlejuice decor vibes. If you're looking for a 1 night pitstop in Cancun this is fine, but just don't stay for too long!

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and it was my first time here and tried 2 different rooms due to the first room being too loud at night. One of the restaurants across the street decided to have a live band and singer until 430am, with a DRUMMER. The second room es much better with the noise since it was across the elevator and away from the front of the hotel. The hotel has a pool and spa, which I enjoyed. The staff were really nice and the location is ideal as it is near the main bus stop and there are several places to eat across the street. However, there were some issues with the sewage system in the hotel that caused a strong smell of rotting sewage to come up from the drain when I opened the water in the sink, toilet, or shower. The restaurant in the back by the pool seemed great, but on my second day in Cancun I ordered a breaded steak that came with veggies and rice and it was bland, dry, and just not good. Unfortunately, I got sick with food poisoning for 10 days after eating there. As a result, I spent most of my two weeks in Cancun inside the hotel and didn’t get to go to the beach or sightsee. Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars.

This is a low-budget hotel with all the essentials, minus plenty of towels and microwave. Idk if u have to request more, but they do tell u it is 1 per guest. The place, as you can see on the pictures, it's focused on Mayan history and what the area is about. The mural was a nice touch, the statue in the center of the hallway is in honor of who painted it. So, if you're looking for a more Mexican experience, this would be a good choice for the price. Beds are ok, I find most low-budget hotels in Mexico have them, so it's a given. I would rather a plush mattress myself, tho. Pool is excellent, a real nice touch. Unique and warm! Loved it. We found a new spot to come back to when we return.

Roach invested. Bedbugs and fleas all over the bed. I couldn't sleep at night. Shower and toilets had weak plumbing. They maids don't really clean too well. I liked a roach on the floor and next day after they cleaned it was still there. The pool and spa are nice and it's very convenient having a restaurant on site but the pool also had broken loungers . I used to love this place but never again will I return.

Dear traveler please do not sleep in this hotel. We have not only found mold on the walls but also been severely disappointed by the lack of Wi-Fi and soap in the rooms. Aren’t these the two essentials of a good hotel room? In the 21st-century how is it possible to have a 50$ per night hotel room without these? Do yourself a favor - book another place.

Unfortunately I am currently staying here. The hotel seems awesome in pictures but in person it is just paintings on walls. Parking is away from the property and it's a delivery lot that gets shared with the hotel. You need to make arrangements to get the lot unlocked. It's a budget hotel and it is extremely noisy at night. Hotel management is very lacking in assuring a good stay for their guests. A simple reminder to guests to be quiet after 10 pm when they check in and to observe the policy while in their room and public areas. Post a sign in rooms and hallways in order to do that... But ... That would be too good to be true and it would also be common sense. They don't even have a visible sign on the street advertising the hotel. There's at least 3 different night clubs that host lousy Karaoke singers that will not let you enjoy a night's rest. The paper thin walls don't help either. They don't even have a phone in the room to call the front desk. I had to walk to express my concerns and was basically ignored. The have a club next to the front desk that broadcasts noise though the center of the building like a speaker. Read other reviews and you will find the same. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. The picture attached is the view of the theater we're the host on of the karaoke clubs as seen AND HEARD through my room window which doesn't block noise at all. Do not stay here

Fun decor, comfy beds and OK internet. The bathrooms desperately need renovation, they are very noisy, you cannot close the windows. We were stressed out about arriving late from the airport as they sent us a message in Spanish that we missed our check-in until 6 pm although we requested check-in at 11 pm. No reaction on messages from booking. They seem to be only automatically generated. They’re not using what’s up. Once at the reception the people were super friendly and speaking English... We were staying for NYE and were hoping for some ambiance but there was nothing. Also not in the area. Nice pool area but the water was cold so we didn’t swim.

Mouldy, HORRIBLE! Checked in late. We asked for some water. Didn’t got it. Unfriendly stuff. Double bedroom but Bed is for a single person. Whole room is mouldy! Room smells like toilet and cleaner. We couldn’t sleep for a minute because it’s so incredible loud there! Not worth any dollar! Don’t go there!

So because of problems beyond my control i was able to join my family at this hotel we has booked for 3 nights .My family wife and daughter arrived but were told the reservation name would need to be changed via the company i booked with .They stood in the loby trying with me to get the name change as the hotel knew full well that this could not be done as per their policy. They waited until time had elapsed to tell my family it would not be possible. I wouks recomend a person stay in the street with the homeless before staying at this disreputable establishment .Basically fo anything you can to avoid this sad joke the last place on earth a Canadian would ever stay .

Basic clean rooms but very fun layout of the hotel(the entire thing looks like you are in a Mayan ruin!!) . The pool was lovely and the hotel is close to ADO.

The pool is fenomenal, the service is really good, and although it is a tad old, the art that covers the hotel from head to toe, is really damn cool. Centric is short for how well positioned it is. I couldn't taste the spa myself but I can attest for the quality of the restaurant's and cafeteria's delightful dishes.

Very grateful that this place even had rooms over the NY. Paid around 60 US per night and the interior is quite interesting and visual. Major negative point - no wifi in the rooms. Unless you are lucky enough to stay right by the only router on each floor. It's Cancun and it's a party but I could not fall asleep one night when a metal band was going on until 3:30am loudly right outside of our window. The "tips" envelope was there to greet us right at the table in the room as soon as we checked in. A little presumptuous! Good points - it's central for the food places and city plaza, and very close to the bus stop to take you to the Hotel Zone. But not having wifi in every room at this price range is pretty ridiculous.

The building needs lots of maintenance. Staff is friendly, clean bedsheets, clean towels, ac works, TV is like 30 years old, swimming pool at perfect temperature.

The hotel is just fine. The rooms smelled a little moldy. The restaurant won't give you change. The location is great though.

Literally reminded me of a Steven King novel. Eerie light in a cell like room that felt very dirty. Lights in the hallway we're mostly off. No soap in the bathroom. Irresponsible and disgusting. No wifi in the rooms Waited 60 minutes in line to check-in two people in front of us We ended up checking out after two hours and booked ourselves into a decent hotel at the same budget 100m up the road

I was worried because of the roach and bedbug reviews. I didn't experience either. The room was great for the cost. I couldn't have been happier. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay with plenty to do in the area, this is a great choice.

The experience was fine and the services they offer are good, the swimming pool was clean as well as the room, the service at the desk was cordial and the prices are accessible, it's recomendable to reserve ahead, so the price will be cheaper.

I stayed in this hotel everything was good until they had to enter my room and “clean it” I was staying by myself and I was out the room the whole day they must have noticed this on my second day there I was on an excursion all day and when I came back to my room that night my gold necklace was stolen and so was my gold ring. I had forgot to lock my jewelry in my luggage with lock and code, and I had left it in my purse, they went through my things!!! Do not book at this place. I confronted them I’m an American with a Mexican father I’m fluent in Spanish and they had blank faces and said the cleaning ladies where not there the ones who were there the day before. Made a report with the police. Upsetting

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! Terrible experience since arrival. My friend told the front desk guy David to slow down on his talking and gave us a dirty look. His coworker Maria was super rude! You couldn’t say anything because she would cut you off with short responses. Their customer service sucked! We requested to get the managers information and immediately got a NO without explanation. An older couple also asked to speak with management and got the same answer we got. I felt bad for them because they even paid for an extra night and weren’t able to be accommodated since they had some trouble going up the stairs. Our room was awful! There were stains on the bed sheets, window curtain, and bathroom mirror. The floor in the bathroom was wet like if someone had just gotten out the shower. The hallways were very dark with delayed sensors. The whole experience was super shady and we left the same day.
