Terrible resort visited in 2017 it was amazing and the food was excellent fast forward to today everything is stale and old. The buffet was closed and being served in a banquet hall because the ceiling literally caved in. The food was terrible. The swim up suite was nice and the ocean was beautiful. The shows were performed in the main resort entrance and it was so humid that it was impossible to enjoy. Room service delivered old reheated food. Avoid this place for the money it is not a 5 star resort. Would give it negative stars if I could. After complaining about the poor experience the resort actually accused me of lying about the terrible quality food and having stomach issues because we went out to celebrate my wife’s birthday with another couple and the order was placed against my room. So next time you dare complain after spending thousands of dollars don’t eat or use the facilities as this would be grounds for accusations of lying about the experience at the hotel. The staff was nice but please go somewhere else the food was atrocious. Thank you to Hyatt Resorts for at least attempting to assist us and we will definitely try a different hotel next time but not with the horrible management at the Zilara. *I want to make clear that I am not accusing the resort of causing me to become sick as I personally chose not to get medical assistance or determine the cause of it and it could have occurred at any point in time.*

We just spent 7 luxurious days at this all inclusive resort with my daughter, son in law and 4 adult grandchildren. First of all, we were welcomed graciously and informed of all the resort's accommodations and amenities. It was immaculately clean and cleaned constantly by staff. Masks were required while moving around inside. We tried 6 of the restaurants for all meals and dinners were exquisite. Staff was focused on what they could do to make our stay a perfect and memorable occasion. They exceeded all of our expectations. We had cabanas by the pool every day that came with our room. Guests can also rent them otherwise. The property has helpful staff, grounds keepers and security moving around everywhere to attend to our needs and comfort. We already agreed that we would love to return again.

Excellent customer service. Had a swim up suite, well with the extra cost. Bonus bottle of liquor daily. Food was very good. Spa was fantastic, had the Mayan hot Stine massage. Renting a cabana at the beach is advised, otherwise you have to get out at sunrise to reserve one. Special parties in the main lobby area Wed, Friday and Sunday. These can be noisy if your room is adjacent.

Me and my girlfriend had an Incredible experience at Hyatt Zilara. Special thanks to Pool Team: Victor Cortes and Felix. and Butler Team: Ivan Rivera, Joel, Daniel, and David. They always took really good care of us and made sure we had everything we wanted. Our room and the resort in general were incredibly clean like we've never seen in other hotels/resorts. All the staff were always so polite, the Spice buffet always had amazing food and fresh fruits. The best parts to hang out and relax were the cabanas on the beach or the pool. Beautiful views everywhere. We also had a great day at the spa and beautiful romantic dinner at the beach. We will never forget this resort and look forward to come back in the future! Thank you so much for everything!

We had the most wonderful stay. Every detail was perfect. We spent most of our dates lounging by the pool or the beach, and ate every meal at the buffet. Ivan and Joel (as part of the beach butlers team) took incredible care of us and made sure we had everything we could possibly want and more. We also had very attentive service by the beach and the pool by Victor Cortes and Felix. We never had an empty hand. We feel beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful resort and spend our days relaxing and taking in the beauty scenery that surrounded us.

We booked at Hyatt Zilara for 8 nights and choose this property due to wanting an All Adult Inclusive Experience. Our expectations were exceeded on a daily basis with the interaction from all the team members we met. The variety of restaurants is Amazing along with the pools and pools service they offer. The property is immaculate and the rooms are Fabulous. We had Room 502 and Loved our daily view of the ocean. The activities available will suit every taste along with nightly entertainment. We will return in the near future and can't wait. Everyone made us feel Welcome on a daily basis.

We had a wonderful stay at Zilara. Other than a few issues everything was wonderful. Our poolside room was not available the first day we arrived so we were placed in a lower level room then moved the next day. Service mostly was exceptional other than a few times where items were not brought for our meal silverware or dishes without reminding the wait staff that we ordered the item. Staff were pleasant and attentive in all but the rarest of occasions. In speaking with other guests that have stayed at other resorts in the area the consensus was that Zilara was the nicest of the resorts. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again but we typically do not return to a location as we prefer new experiences. We would consider another Hyatt location based on this experience.

Went to this resort with expectations of 5 star resort. The food was poor quality at best, drinks were not top shelf and not a lot of variety. The atmosphere was party-like with loud sound system out near the pool most of the day. Pool cabanas were in need of repair and very uncomfortable. Had to be up by 6am to get a cabana or pay $100+ up charge per day. The spa was excellently and the view was amazing but for the price absolutely horrible value . We contacted Hyatt and the resort refused to do anything to compensate us. Very disappointing considering you are paying for fine dining and exceptional service. We were told by Zilara that they had no record of our displeasure. Multiple complaints were made, very few English speaking staff available. Hyatt did give us points so we can try another stay somewhere else. We have stayed at many Hyatt’s and never felt that we needed to even voice a complaint. Anyone considering staying there should think twice if you want a relaxing vacation with good food and good service this is not your place to stay.

The hotel is elegant with multiple views of aqua blue layers of the ocean. Soft sand beach lined with endless canopies and lounge chairs for hours of relaxing while in a tranquil state of watching the waves. They have tepees for a romantic drink on the beach. We have enjoyed different dining experiences at all their wonderful restaurants. Abundance of delicious drinks at varies bars all over the hotel. The wait staff and housekeeping have been exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel!

This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. This place is amazing. The staff is absolute top notch and so kind and helpful. The food is excellent and has a good variety. The beach and infinity pool are amazing. There are plenty of places to sit down on the beach or by the pool. Our room had a great ocean view and was incredibly comfortable. We would absolutely recommend this place and will be visiting again.

This hotel was the absolute best of all the high end hotels in Cancun. We opted for the swim up room. The pool water was kept at a perfectly cool, yet pleasant temperature. This is difficult to achieve with the sun as hot as it is. The restaurants are varied and the buffet selection was excellent. Best of all was the attention given to each guest. A quick call and our request was granted. We felt like royalty. Even the nightly entertainment was excellent. If you wish to have a truly wonderful vacation, go to the Hyatt Zilara.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cancun and had a very positive experience. The service and the food were excellent. My room had a beautiful view of the beach and included free room service. Unfortunately, the hotel seemed outdated; the hot tub inside the room was not clean, and the shower had a broken knob. Despite these issues, the price was definitely worth it, considering it was an all inclusive hotel.

We wanted an adult only resort and the Hyatt Zilara was perfect. The staff and service was professional and courteous. The food from all restaurants was exceptional. The coffee shop was the perfect place to grab a coffee in the morning or a snack during the day. The rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. The pool decks were gorgeous and clean. The entertainment was fantastic every evening. The beach was clean and well kept. I would recommend not using the ATM that gives pesos. We got an old paper bill and the resort wouldn't accept it. I would definitely recommend this resort. We had a fantastic vacation.

First let me say the facility is nice. Not the nicest Hyatt I’ve stayed at in the Caribbean and Mexico, but nice. I’ve been to 3 now. Wait staff etc are great. Clean rooms and facilities. Unfortunately the downside to this place is the constant third party selling in the lobby from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. When I say third parties, I mean the company that is in agreement with the hotel to sell you everything from a mint to excursions and spa treatments etc etc. The vendors on the beach were more respectful! Definitely wouldn’t revisit this location. One, the cost is not worth it compared to other locations. Communication is sketchy. Cost of services is 2-3 times more than going outside the hotel. Try to cancel services and they will tell you it’s taken care of, just find out it wasn’t and you get hit with a charge. Lots of loop holes. Food was 7 out of 10.

Location , location, location. I swam every day in the outdoor pool by Caribbean Sea and the view is like the picture in a dream. We have a great stay for the anniversary. It is a worry free vacation. My husband and I are foodies so we try to take advantage of the all inclusive dining. Every restaurant we went is quite good,exceeding the expectations. I am not a fan of night entertainment for the adult content and revealing clothes dancers wore. But I guess that is the way to distinguish an adult only resort with children friendly ones. We will try Hyatt Zika with our children next time, knowing Hyatt has very good dining selection and the service is great.

Well worth the vacation. We first went for our honeymoon in 2017. Before the pandemic we used to go every year. I believe Cancun has the best amenities but Jamaica has the best view. Great service, quiet when it matters, and definitely the ultimate romantic getaway.

Amazing experience, Lots of activities, Talented artists, amazing food and very courteous staff. We were here for five days and loved every bit of it. The transfer and coordination is excellent. Plenty of food options and very nice pool. Things to improve 1. Life vests for use of guests at the beach. 2. The lounge sound system does not do justice to the talented artists who perform there. 3. Nor does the facility provide essential changing room close to the lobby for those artists. They always seem to be running out of breath getting back and forth. A stage as such could be better. 4. Pool floats may be a nuisance but it does not hurt to have some available for use at the pool. Overall, a very nice experience and would love to be back again.

I came here for a work event, but this is an amazing resort. There are not too many vegan options at the restaurants, but they have an awesome bar downstairs called the den. If you want some amazing cocktails I’d definitely recommend going there. I don’t have too many pics from my trip, as I kept my phone off 😆 for some R&R. The pools outside are amazing, go to the first one and swim out to the infinity wall where you can see the beach. It’s beautiful.

Stayed here for the first time. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and nice. The place is immaculate and has such a cultural feel. I love very modern hotels but this one has a lot of charm unlike the all glass and ceramic modern hotels. Pool area is great. You definitely get beautiful ocean views when staying in any room. I highly recommend this place.

I have been to many resorts and this was the best one so far. The food was excellent! The service was impeccable! Everybody was always making sure we had everything we needed. The view from our room was simply amazing! It was a very relaxing resort. My wife and I are actually already thinking of doing a second trip there next year.

Beautiful hotel and the staff is super helpful and everyone there was really great. The food is good and the wait staff takes extra care to make sure you have a good experience. We had a lot of fun at the pool and recommend renting the cabanas... totally worth it! I was there for my birthday and the people who clean your room decorated our room for my birthday...such a great gesture... and they made me feel celebrated all day. We had a great time.

We had a great time here. Had you asked me when we first walked in the first night, I might’ve rated this place 3 or 4 stars. We unfortunately had a terrible first impression when we tried to go into the pool and there were extremely drunks hotel-goers ruining our experience, one which was so wasted they stole our beach towel that was very hard to get. For having just walked into the resort, we were not impressed and thought maybe we made a mistake. Fast forward five days later, we absolutely adore this resort. All service staff from waiters, concierge, hotel housekeeping, entertainment and more were so kind and hospitable. Our room was the cheapest option, but we felt it was still so nice and luxurious, and clean! The activities and nightly entertainment is something they really shine in - they put in so much detail and effort. Their beach is also lovely, they have a sandbar right in front so swimming is a breeze. The food was actually pretty good, and we felt there was decent amount of variety. The only thing that could be improved is the pool, but there’s not really much they can do about that now. They definitely need more than one pool and regulating the drunk people would be appreciated. We absolutely adored our time here and would even come back!

We visited last year and it was a fantastic getaway for parents – no kids in sight, which made it heavenly! 😂 The food, activities, and shows were top-notch, and the customer service was superb. They even offered us a free spa, though we skipped the massage. Now we regret it because the spa was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, it was the perfect escape for couples!

Had a great time, everything was great. No complaints. Great location, we were able to catch the city bus right outside the resort. I do wish I would have been able to get in contact with the room service staff after our visit though. We ordered firm pillows during our stay and they were so comfortable I wanted to purchase them for myself but wasn't able to reach anyone that had that information. Overall 5 star visit!

This resort exceeded my expectations. We chose this resort based mostly on the food reviews. It was excellent! Yes, there were a few spots where the resort seemed a little dated, but it was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was varied and quality. We never waited for a beach chair and the beach and water were clean and beautiful. Best massages from Brenda and Veronica. Abigail had the best smile while serving coffees and desserts, Uriel at Mexican night and Alejandro at the Den provided great service, and Hector at punta Vista remembered us and was helpful. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our time at this location and have many positives. 1. The rooms were designed well and had beautiful views. The room service was delicious, and they had a great system for returning your empty dishes. 2. The beach and ocean were the best we have encountered in Cancun. 3. The customer service, activities, and entertainment were also very good. 4. The restaurants on-site were all very good. 5. There are many free cabanas so probably better to save your money and only reserve on pool party days. 6. The gym, yoga, and pilates reformer class are 🔥. 7. The spa is also superb! Rosy, on the hydro-circuit, deserves a raise she is great! 8. Another all-star employee was Juan at Asiana! He was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and food here. 9. Punta Vista served the views and the best food. Highly recommend eating here breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Areas of opportunity 1. Room key situation: Please upgrade to wrist bands with key inside. 2. The pool design is not ideal. On the party side of the pool, you can not swim up to the bar. Maybe it's on purpose? 3. Spice buffet was not our favorite restaurant. Overall, the quality of food here needs to level up. The other restaurants were great. I would recommend this resort to anyone who likes smaller hotels to stay at.

The location and setting at this hotel are amazing right on the white sandy beach of Cancun. The hotel is showing its age in places but rooms were very comfortable and the view was amazing. Food was very good and most of the time service was excellent. There were however a couple of waiters who if you did not leave a tip were awful on the following visits to point of it being obvious. Being from the UK we would tip for exceptional service, unlike American Guests that would tip after avery drink. A difference in culture but it should not affect service as it did.

Really enjoyed our week-long stay here. The food was delicious (though not fans of Maria Marie). Wednesday night Mexican buffet was amazing, don't miss it. Room was lovely and we loved the room service option, which we haven't seen at previous AIs we've stayed at. Loved AquaCombat in the pool with Diana!! Beach was lovely. Ocean wasn't calm (red or yellow flags most days), but we were able to go out into it most days and play in the waves except for the day a school of fish and a couple sharks ventured into the area! This is on our 'would return to' list.

The massage was good, the view was amazing. All staff were attentive and caring. The hotel and amenities were clean. The food was always changing, always delicious, drinks were well made. The nightly entertainment was great and very relaxing. There weren’t any loud parties or guests to worry about keeping you up. The fact that all of the rooms overlook the ocean was a huge deal for us! Roberto Delgado Kumul from Spice was hands down the most amazing person we met during our stay. He treated us like family and went above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for. He was very attentive, made excellent recommendations and always asked what else he could do for us. He is so very thoughtful and we very much look forward to seeing him on our next trip back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the place is great. The food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. If I had one suggestion for anyone it would be to bring small bills with you as no one will be able to break anything larger than a 20. I understand that the stay is all inclusive but the staff is bending over backwards to make you feel welcome and we felt they deserve tips for what they provided.

Stayed at Hyatt Zilara for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The hotel is beautiful and the ocean view room was breathtaking and very clean. The beach was amazing and the service was out of this world. The staff are all helpful, friendly and made us feel special. The food was awesome although not a huge fan of the buffet. Overall we are so glad we chose this location. They really take care of their guests and I would recommend to anyone.

This was our first trip to Cancun and we can say without a doubt that the entire staff at Hyatt Zilara Cancun are AMAZING. They will literally go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be since "You are on vacation!" as they always said. The food was great, the drinks were cold and delicious, but my special shout outs go to Humberto (Beach Service) and David John (Bellhop) who went above and beyond with their service. Highly recommend Zilara Cancun if it's your first time doing an all-inclusive beach resort stay. We had a blast and are now booking to go back in November!

Incredible place. The only reason I could see someone not liking it is that they play party music pretty loud in the afternoon which I don’t like. The food is awesome, staff is so friendly, our room was cleaned every day, and the views are breathtaking. Such a great place for a honeymoon or anniversary trip.

This place has gone above and beyond our expectations. The service from every single employee has been AMAZING. Everyone has been 100% processional and welcoming since we got here. We definitely will be returning in the future and will be referring everyone we can to come here. Thank you for making me and my wife's 10 year wedding anniversary very special.

I'm giving this 5 stars for two main reasons: 1) the service was AWESOME--best we've had at an all inclusive so far and 2) we just had a great time. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the resort (both our room and the pool and poolside restaurant) and loved the variation of activities you could sign up for that were included with the stay. We did a wine tasting and a hibachi grill dinner that required reservations but were included--both were very fun! My only complaints were: * The food was slightly above average given my previous all inclusive experience in the Cancun area, but that isn't saying much * There are pay-to-rent and come-as-you-go cabanas by the pool. It felt like a rush to get a cabana everyday, and there wasn't much poolside seating beyond those.

Hyatt Zilara is amazing. I stayed here during my honeymoon. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive resorts before and this one has beat all the others. The buffet is amazing, the food selection is very big. It’s not the same food every day. We ate at the different restaurants there too and the food was so good. The service was excellent. All the staff were so nice and looked like they love their job. There is something to do everyday. My husband and I had a spa date and the massages were so wonderful and relaxing. There are so many cabanas to relax at right on the beach. They have staff around the resort for security purposes and for any needs which I loved. I felt super safe during my stay there. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Hyatt for your amazing services.

Wonderful and clean resort with vintage decorations. Their all inclusive deal is amazing. The drinks taste good and the food is really delicious there. The swimming pool is decent. I really loved how they maintain the water temperature, it was just perfect. The beach was wonderful as well. The only downside of the beach and pool area is that there aren't many sunbeds around because there are a lot of cabanas. Definitely worth the visit. Thank you Hyatt Zilara team for everything.

Amazing experience! The staff were all so pleasant and attentive. Larissa our butler, Melvin at the entrance, Amado at the beach, Caesar and Manuary in the restaurant, Jose at the sports bar. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that we have a comfortable stay. The hotel was so clean and beautifully laid out. The food was amazing. The 3 of us shared a Junior Double and the room was so spacious. My friend and I were celebrating our birthday. When we arrived in our room, the door was decorated with a “Happy Birthday” banner on the door, a complimentary cake and bottle of champagne. It was such a nice kick off to our amazing vacation. No complaints! Will definitely be back.

A total taste of Heaven! I can’t even begin to share the amazing experience my husband and I had here this week at Hyatt Zilara in Cancun. The staff is exceptional, you are treated like royalty every step you take here. So kind and above and beyond at all times. The food was so beyond any expectations and is definitely best We have ever had on a vacation. Every meal was better than the next!!!! If you want a vacation of a lifetime this is The place to come. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

This resort looks phenomenal and has a ton of amenities and restaurants for just about anyone. From traditional Mexican food to one of the best hibachi shows I have seen, you wont be disappointed! Tons of swim up bars and an amazing beach that stretches as far as the eyes can see. Now the best thing at this resort even with all of the items above is the staff. While we were there it rained the first 2 days before my Girlfriends birthday, and the resort staff did everything they could to make it fun for everyone. From Ivan and Joel helping get special treats to the room for her birthday, to Carlos and Alonzo making the days inside as fun as possible. These guys put the F in FUN and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do! I am extremely excited to say we will be going back to this resort from this point forward!!

First, the entire staff is super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They were patient with me as I practiced my Spanish skills, which made my stay more welcoming. David, Felix and Alberto at the beach were personable and phenomenal, and workout instructors Pepe and Diana were awesome. The nightly performers were so talented as well. The house staff keep the entire resort and your room constantly clean. The resort itself is beautiful. The beaches are clean, the pool is large and refreshing, and the food was so fresh and delicious. My wife and I usually like to adventure travel, but this resort was so beyond our expectations that we will definitely return.

We just came back from one week vacation in Zilara. It was simply amazing. Every aspect of this experience was 5*. My husband and I came from Atlanta, GA. First thing we noticed that entire staff was getting us with a hand on a heart with a smile. All rooms are facing the ocean and we had a great time watching sunrise from our balcony every day. Very clean. Room had been cleaned and bedding changed every day without asking. We looooved the parties. Every day they had some fun party. On the beach, pool party, Mexican party, white party. Fun. Great food. Even though both of us vegan, we had so many options to choose from. Too many… lol. Well, we can definitely recommend to stay there.No need to get up early to get a chairs and umbrella or cabana. Plenty! I will recommend to book your cabana for us many days you want ahead of time when you just arrive . Some days are busier than others. Beach is gorgeous and every night they clean sand. We will be back !
