Day 4 and so far it seems rather good and simple. No frills type of place which made it quite affordable. Beautiful and clean beach area , pools are very small and get shaded quickly. Staff so far seems nice, only complaints really are our fridge was empty, we have to continuously ask for bottled water in our room to be replenished as we use it for our coffee and hot tea, also have to keep asking for coffee to be replenished, no wash rags, no bath mat and water tends to get out of your shower as there’s no door. I reserved a private pool room, which would be wonderful if we didn’t have the very last room in the lot that has only an ankle deep area then leads you in front of your neighbors private area if you’d like to actually get in the water. The Pizza here is quite wonderful. I love it’s location but this will most likely be a one time visit.

Not exactly all-inclusive since not everything is included like you would expect. Also not the best experience you can have when you think about Cancun. The food is hit or miss (mostly miss) the drinks aren’t great, they use cheap liquor that you’ll definitely be feeling and not in a good way and as far as beer you usually have 1 beer to choose from. The staff though mostly nice people are clearly overworked and underpaid. They don’t have the cleanest rooms or bathrooms for the guests. The rooms are outdated and need renovations, you can also hear everything that’s going on so if you like peaceful sleep this is not the place. The Albatross which is the restaurant that requires a reservation isn’t worth the effort to lock yourself into the reservation in the first place since the food isn’t anything special and the staff is much less friendly and attentive the the staff at the buffet. You get 1 towel per person for the beach and if you like music too bad they don’t like music at the Flamingo so if you notice they don’t have music on or it’s just extremely low and you can barely hear it you might be inclined to put your own music on but they’ll ask you to turn that off as well. In summary if you spent money to go to Cancun spend a little more to get a good experience and it won’t be here.

Very bad service. Food took more than 30 minutes in the pool area. Shower does not work properly. The beach is only open until 18:00, they don’t recharge soap neither change the room towels in their rooms, and the internet does not work during the night and in the morning always fails. Be carefully with the maintenance hotel. The attention it wasn’t good! The price is too much for the low quality. I think is better pay more for a better four stars hotel.

Second time at this resort, first time last year in March average service for the price. Second time this past week.Bar staff very pleasant as well as bell boys as long as you were tipping. Front desk rude and not very helpful. We had prepaid transportation to and from resort to airport and the couldn't help us with anything and no one remember who helped with what. Room keys never worked. Every time we went to eat the host was rude and complaining when we ordered more coffee or drinks. Last day there we made reservations for a large party for breakfast, got drinks and waited and hour for them to close the restaurant. They had forgotten our food and that we were still waiting for breakfast. Would not recommend. We came as a big family of 13. Last year there were 30 of us. They will be missing our revenue.

Location of the hotel is good which was the only thing. Very limited seating by the pool. The rooms are old mirrors have mold. The curtains have black mold as well. Small beds. The food wasn’t great either. Customer service was horrible from front desk to the rest of the staff. The staff in the dining room act like they were paying for my meal. The wait staff didn’t even approach the ask if I needed a beverage the first 2 days until they saw I had dollars. No entertainment well one night they only had a 30 min of mariachi that was it.

Nice rooms, absolutely stunning beach with lounges. Pools were great as well however there wasn't enough sunbeds to accommodate all people, if you didnt go early morning there was no chance to find a spot. Staff was alright, not overly nice, they were just doing their job and were plain indifferent. Check in - absolute nightmare, we waited over an hour in the queue and that's after 13h of travelling.... staff was extremely slow. Internet kept disconnecting every other minute, very frustrating. Food - small choice, cheap ingredients, I'd say its something 2 star hotel might offer. Room was clean and pretty standard. Most people at the hotel were Spanish speakers. There also was no entertainment at the hotel and nothing much to do around, the only thing one could do was to take a bus to Hotel Zone where you can find restaurants, bars, clubs, shops.

Very nice location and friendly local staff but language is a barrier if you do not speak Spanish. It is all inclusive and very good value for money but as we stayed for a week and open buffet had limited options, we got bored so we tried the other local restaurants in the area a few times. They take hygiene very seriously during the pandemic which we appreciated. Our room and common areas were cleaned thoroughly every day.

First, let me say that I enjoyed the beach and the swim up room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Jacob was so helpful and tried very hard to help everyone he could. Everything else was substandard at best. 99% of the staff that worked here was not able to speak English, which made communications very difficult. ALL ORDERS FOR FOOD AND COFFEE WERE INCORRECT DUE TO NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH. Not only that but they had bad attitudes and poor customer service. We sat through several meals without beverages even after asking multiple times. Our room had issues with the toilet, the mini fridge breaking twice, the bathroom ceiling leaking and the electrical outlet by the bed not working. The food was just bad. There was a very small buffet, which was usually empty and 2 snack bars that closed early at 6. The all-inclusive swim up bar closed at 6pm daily. leaving 1 bar open for the entire resort. So after 6 pm at this hotel you were just screwed. There was no entertainment and rules against playing music on your own. My family and I decided to eat out every evening because of this and felt that we overpaid for a not- so-all-inclusive experience. Also, I had surgery while in Cancun and called prior to my arrival to make sure things went smoothly. For 3 days I needed to eat in the room. My Husband and adult daughter were to bring me food to the room as I had paid for all-inclusive meals. This was a nightmare! Trying to get them to understand and not charge us extra for taking food to the room was a challenge. Luckily one of the other guests was able to translate for us. The Starbucks was not an actual Starbucks and NEVER got one order correct due to the language barrier. All in all it was such a disappointment. This hotel COULD be great if it had the right management and staff.

The only reason this received 1 star is because you could literally walk down to the beach and the drinks were strong. The room smelled wonderful and clean for the 1st day and a half, after that it smelt damp and moldy. The restaurant food was horrible! Security was shady and kept hanging out/knocking on my door. Other guests were shady. The pool stays open till 10 but the pool bar closes at 6 so you have to walk wet through the lobby to get a drink. The the hot water in the shower was more like lukewarm. I think I covered it all. Spend your money else where!

I must have stayed in a different hotel to these people. The hotel is very clean and a great location especially for its own beach. I never once came across an unfriendly member of staff and all were only to pleased to help. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was very clean with air con. I only stayed b&b as I did a few day trips but had no trouble getting drinks from the bar in the evening. Very good restaurants nearby on the lagoon with the occasional visiting crocodile. The only down side was the service at the pool bar. On the odd day I stayed at the hotel, there was only 1 member of staff serving at the pool bar and I think it was a bit overwhelming for him but that didn't really spoil my visit. Yes the breakfast wasn't the usual full English but come on people, you are visiting a different country. Embrace the local food. If you want a full English everyday, go to Blackpool or stay at home.

My experience here was wonderful, right from check-in to check-out, many thanks to Nancy, Jose, Armando and Beatrice! Make sure you book an ocean view room! Everyone speaks english and are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great beach and good location too. Many food options around the hotel - excellent breakfast buffet! I will most certainly be returning back to flamingo.

the hotel is very conveniently located in the hotel zone and very close to the public bus stop. there is a pool and beach access with a nice private beach area. the room was nice. the food offered was a bit bland and the hotel does lack a few of the amenities at most of the other, more expensive places, but i had an overall good experience. the staff were quite nice too and i was able to easily communicate despite my poor Spanish language skills :)

We stayed there in February -23. The room was old and very bad. Roof in the bedroom was leaking, they blamed us and said it was because of the balcony door was open, which it was not. The bedsheets smelled of old sweat. Cockroaches in the bathroom and room. The people who worked there was not very pleasant. Would not recommend if you would like to stay at a nice hotel where they treat you nice and it doesn't smell bad!

Located by the beach which is so lovely! Sun beds were always available. Great views from both sides of rooms. Delicious food, drinks. Lovely staff! Good pool area. Great for walks by the beach and it's a short bus ride to town, you can even walk there and enjoy the views. We had a really good time in Flamingo.

Conflicting feelings here. The first night was terrible. At our late check-in (midnight) the receptionist was unable to give us the room we reserved, and we didn’t get it until 4:30 the next day. Even upon checkout we still hadn’t gotten the difference refunded to us, and we ultimately payed full, inflated Christmas prices for the atrocious room 208. Picture a room that you’d pay $25 a night for. Our next, actual room was much better, and does look like the advertised photos. The view was beautiful. The ocean water was very nice. All the pools were very clean. There is one issue though that really bothered me and that is that everywhere I went outside, there were ants. On our private patio and on the beach. Not sure how much control they have over that but the floor was lava for me, so I couldn’t fully relax. We had a wonderful “butler” that came with the junior swim-out suite (for the rooms on the first level) and he was out of this world (Jesse). He transformed our vacation into something much, much better and we were almost even able to get past the awfulness of the first night. Lastly, we were there for New Year’s Eve and they encouraged us to register for a special dinner and also an “open bar”. The dinner was fine, though not worth $100/person, and the open bar is as pictured above. A foldout table with generic soda and some liquor bottles. They do have Absolute Beginner actual bar steps away from where they set up this table, and it’s a wonder to my why they wouldn’t use that (I was told they would), so this was a big disappointment and waste of money. All in all, would I go back there again? No, I would pick a different hotel. If they refunded me the money they owed me? Maybe. I would certainly raise the stars. If I won the “free vacation” from the Vacation Club salespeople? Sure. Just maybe don’t buy the all-inclusive pass if you book, as there is only one restaurant outside of the buffet, unless you are a big pool-side drinker, then sure. One cool thing we got with our room/pass was unlimited room service. No charge for what was ordered, just a $5 delivery fee. Last note: we got a cabana on the beach, which had a server and that was actually really nice. And the weather while we were there was perfect.

At the end of November, for the second time, we stayed at Hotel Flamingo, i highly recommend it. The beautiful. A big thank you to the ladies cleaning the rooms; they do an excellent job. The reception staff was very friendly, with special appreciation for Fredy🙏🤗 It's evident that he enjoys his work, and we thank him for his smile, assistance, and recommendations for the best places in Cancun. The gentlemen at the bar were always smiling, and the drinks were a pleasure after a hot day. The pizza by the pool was a big plus, as well as the waitress and bartender we had the opportunity to meet (unfortunately, I don't remember their names, and I apologize). The only downside was the restaurant service; it felt like they were only working for tips. Until we left money, we waited for coffee for up to 30 minutes. I understand it's their job, but being well-treated would surely encourage us to tip, as we did at the bar or for pizza.🍕 Thanks for another fantastic stay. I can't wait for the next vacation with you! 😃

We’ve had a wonderful time at this resort, the food is alright had us trying for local food which was nice, I wasn’t very keen on eating much spice but by the second day after trying on their sauces I was really keen on having it for good. We’ve had an UPGRADE for the nice suits facing the sea, which had us buzzing! Haven’t tried the sea food restaurant they had, because of our busy schedule, which we regret. But the pool side was nice, the staff were friendly and always there to help. The bathroom was nice and our bed was HUGE. We’ve had the sea shining right by our balcony

The worst hotel experience in a long time. No internet in the rooms, just 4 TV channels, no outlets near the bed. If you want to watch a movie or check emails forget about it the internet is "in common areas" only and even worst is sometimes doesn't connect, super frustrating.

We loved our stay at Flamingo Hotel. The staff were fantastic, they couldn't be more helpful and were always very polite and friendly. We stayed for 2 weeks and thought the food was excellent. With 3 different places to eat every day, and several options in each location we never got bored of the food choices. Every day of the week is a different food theme- our favourite was Maya night with delicious local dishes. A special thanks to Freddy at reception and Andreas in the buffet hall who always went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. The quality of the rooms does vary- upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to ocean view instead of lagoon view. After seeing the lagoon view room which was basic with no balcony, we paid around £50 (UK sterling) for the upgrade and it was well worth it as we were able to watch the sunrise on several mornings from our Seaview balcony- truly stunning. With 3 days of our trip left we were offered a free move to a swim up room due to maintenance taking place on our floor. The swim up room was total bliss, very comfortable and such luxury to have pool access from the room. The reason we gave 5 stars is because for the price we paid for our all inclusive stay, we were really impressed with the quality of service and food along with the beautiful setting. The pools are well maintained, the sunbeds were comfy and there was nearly always one available. The beach is well maintained and the public corridors of the hotel were continually cleaned and well kept. The choice of drinks at the bars is excellent (we had several different cocktails, beer and wine which was all included) and the swim up bar was definitely a highlight. We also made use of the pizza bar more times than was healthy! This hotel is by no means the nicest in Cancun however for the price it is outstanding value for money. Yes- some of the rooms need the odd maintenance job completing such as bathroom door locks not working or batteries dead in the safe- however Hotel Flamingo doesn't claim to be a 5 star hotel. If you want the premium experience you will need to pay twice the price. We also loved the size of the hotel, it wasn't too big to walk around (like many of the Vegas style hotels in Cancun) and many of the staff remembered our names during our stay. The only other improvement to suggest: it would have been helpful to get an information booklet when we arrived or just some hotel info in the room. We were given some details by reception at check in but after a 10 hour flight and being awake for 24 hours, we didn't take any of it in. There was entertainment in the hotel on a few nights but we didn't know it was happening, we just stumbled on it. There were also a few things not part of the all inclusive which we found out as we went along (the premium tequila behind the bar wasn't included which seemed fair enough). We did a few day trips / tours using the tour operator in the hotel. We also found other trips at a much cheaper rate online (Viator) than being offered in the hotel so I'd recommend shopping around before just going with the hotel tour company. Overall: ignore the bad reviews, for a reasonably priced all inclusive, this hotel cannot be beaten in Cancun. A fantastic experience and highly recommended. See photos for further detail

Our recent stay at your establishment The Flamingo Hotel was far from satisfactory. In fact, it was the worst place my wife and I have ever stayed in. The showers did not work properly, the food was horrible, and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, the staff was beyond rude. On our very first day, a front desk lady asked us if we wanted to invest in a property. When we refused, she dismissed us without any further assistance. This is a complete and utter disappointment, and I will not recommend your hotel to anyone. I don’t expect a response with an explanation and a plan to improve your services in the future. Thank you

I rate this 1 star. The design of the hotel, I can admit, is lovely. Very clean and beds comfy. However, the lack of service and terrible food brings this down. Some staff members, Isreal in particular, is AMAZING. Managers - Daniel and one other - AWFUL. Rude, argumentative, unhelpful, unapproachable and somewhat leave you feeling unsafe in the hotel. The food is gross. So bad. Bars open as an when. Trying to get hold of water is hard (a basic necessity if you ask me). Construction work was taking place for the last 4 days of our stay. Banging from 7am - 7pm and shutting off part of the swim up pool we paid extra for. Also, making noise throughout the room. Not relaxing at all. No entertainment at all although the hotel states this is included. They fail to tell you about the facilities on arrival - such as extra restaurants, where to collect pool towels and when. On our last morning, we were woken at 8am to be told we are checking out at 12. When we left the room for coffee (offsite) and returned to pack our bags, we were locked out of our room for an hour as they'd already disabled our key. The manager on check out was appalling. This hotel has so much potential but unfortunately, this trip was one that was extremely disappointing and a waste of time and money.

Staff was really nice! We paid a lot for the swim-up suite though and they had construction being done above us the entire trip. So we woken up everyday by that and one of the nails fell down and almost hit me in the head. The food at resort was not good. The main thing that made the trip a little better was the beach but when I talked to three different staff members about the construction they told me to go to through Expedia and that construction is done from 9am-5pm which is literally most of the day. Luckily, I have proof of everything and purchased the insurance on the hotel when I booked. I paid $500+ for a suite that I couldn’t even use due to the unsafe environment above me and construction, they even sent someone down to my room with a med kit about the nail but now are saying that they weren’t aware. Even being put in a different room would’ve sufficed, don’t book people and assigns them a room if you know construction will be done above them. People go on vacation to RELAX.

The Flamingo Cancun Resort was quite possibly the worst “resort” I’ve been to. Do NOT STAY HERE. The room was old and mold on walls and ceilings. The room did not seem clean and was in desperate need of some new paint. Walls were scuffed and felt very ran down. No coffee maker in the room. Also no outlets behind bedside tables to even charge your phone. We ordered “room service” the first night. We had a simple order of a pizza. We had to call twice and it took over two hours to get to our room. The pizza was barely edible. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. The beach is beautiful but you have to pay to lay under the cabanas on the beach, we were asked to move. There was no one our whole trip using the cabanas due to the cost. The gym was ran down and only had one cardio machine that worked. We have been to Mexico before and never have had this bad of a experience at any other resort. We would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great service - the staff always ready to help out. I travelled alone from London and the hotel made me feel much more comfortable. I enjoyed my whole visit to Cancun partly due to great service whilst in the hotel. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel that is not overly gentrified and not too large but still want good service and food.

It’s average hotel, ocean view rooms are perfect but the lagoon rooms are trash. The lighting in any room is rubbish. Hot water system is not so good either. Food is disgusting and same recipes repeated for all 3 meals of the day. No indoor pool no private spa inside the hotel. One available is very basic (back massage only) on the beach in open. Last day we checked out at 12 our taxi was due t pick us up for airport at 3. We asked if we can keep our luggage somewhere safe while we wait for our taxi. The peon said yes but we have to pay to use storage. We trusted him and left our luggage unlocked. When we got home we realised they took 3 of our brand new full 100ml bottles worth £380 and original apple iPhone earphones. Reason why we say the hotel workers took the stuff is because when we collected the luggage we locked all our luggage before checking in. Hence hotel staff are the only people who attended our luggage unlocked. Staff not very helpful handling complaint, very limited English is a big barrier. I wouldn’t go there again 🙌

The place is very nice, beach is awesome, the view and the entire facility was very nice, but, we found bugs on the bathroom, the place is very crowded and there is lines for breakfast, and every other meal. The food was good, fair for the price, but not too much variety.the bars have limited and bad quality drinks, almost every drink is 60%water. The worst whiskey I have ever tasted. Staff is friendly and generally helpful. They will try to sell their 150 nights in the hotel for some money. Its a waste of time, don't fall for the hats and the wine.

Lovely resort, we only booked the breakfast included. Tried the restaurant for breakfast. Not worth it, same food as buffet but limited quantity. Buffet room is rather small with limited variety, but still good. The young ladies as hostesses were a bit flustered, then very rude about us moving even though we asked the waiter. Loudly exasperated about it l as if we didn't understand Spanish... The room was lovely and spacious. Booked a standard room and got a room with a swim up pool, a very wonderful surprise. Pools were nice. Have a Cancun letter sign by the upper pool. Beautiful beach area. Would likely return.

Basic low cost rooms in low season. Very busy and lost of families--so noisy in common areas. Good place to stay in the hotel zone. Standard experience, must carry small and large size local currency, front desk only accepts exact amounts. Very secure. I do recommend for overnight stays.

Clean hotel .friendly staff..however it doesn't do what it says on the tin..they charge you 50 pounds for cleaning .according to them it's a tax..WiFi it's only available in the communal areas .good luck with the internet in your room, entertainment is almost no existing. It a no smoke Ng hotel you can't even smoke on the beach side, now smoking it's an awful thing for those that do not smoke how ever they provide no place for those that smoke so every smoker crams right outside the main entrance of the hotel .if you have full board them the food ain't bad however you always have to wait to be seated..my personal opinion don't go there ..

Hotel and Room were very nice. Very clean!!! I had a swim up room which I absolutely loved, recommend 10/10. Beach was beautiful 😍 Food was HORRIBLE!!!! Both restaurants were VERY BAD!!!! When talking with other guests they had the same complaints about the restaurants. Cheap enough I would stay again, I would forfeit the all inclusive price and just book the room. Bring snacks and a bottle of Tequila lol!!!!

The location is amazing. You should definitely come visit cancun, however not at this hotel. It's basic at best, think travel lodge, and the walls are paper thin. They have rules about music and noise, but this isn't enforced. Every night was a struggle to get past the noise, we were particularly unlucky with our neighbours. Considering the hotel has rules about blasting music, and they have many excursions that require a 6am start, this was incredibly frustrating. I got less sleep here than at home, and the excursions weren't as enjoyable as they should have been because we were so tired. The food was cafeteria style, very bland and fatty. Overall this is not what I expect from a "4*" establishment

Great location, restaurants poorly executed, poorly staffed under sized, drinks and food mediocre. Swim up room over run by kids… reservations at Albatross sold out all week.. glad we were only able to get one… too small for the hotel and so under whelming… my tequila sunrise was Hawaiian Punch. Breakfast was 45 min for enchiladas .. the unorganization is systemic. They canceled my reservation as I was arriving with confirmation in hand… never again!

WoW!!! I travel to Mexico 4-5 times a year and not one to complain, roll with the punches. NOT THIS PLACE!!!! This is one for the records books of a horrible get away. First night, Maintenance man attempting to enter my room at 10: p.m. Through a locked bolted door with do not disturb on door, waking me up out of a dead sound sleep. Claiming he was there to fix the handle on my deck door. Room safe not attached to anything, just on the shelf in the closet!!! Good luck with the valuables! The staff offers you nothing! They all just walk around talking and making rude and disrespectful comments about everyone. It is very obvious there is a serious moral problem within the workers. Save your tip money, that doesn't even work. Whoever owns this place! You have a serious moral problem in your establishment that needs a lot of work! I have never felt so intimated, unsafe, disrespected, humiliated after coming home from a trip as this one. I could go on and on, but really just want to put this horrible experience behind me. USA especially stay away; you will feel very uncomfortable and ignored!

To start off with the country is good and the beach is good but the water is rough at certain times of day but the reason and the people is nice is you find someone that’s English but if you don’t then you will find the trip really difficult for you. The rooms that me and my mother had I have a 1 because the shower didn’t work, we didn’t have no kettle to make hot tea when needed and there’s no room service and there was one issue when I wasn’t feeling to good and my mum had to use an iron to heat up water because we had no ups we had to use a can from our drinks. There was also an issue with with the leaking because there was a time where we went out and the floors was very wet like there was a leak and that is very dangerous. The room is outdated and needs some attention ASAP the room I was in was 345 if you get this room request t change it because it’s not sellable at all Daniel is nice the day manager but the night manager you guys need to get rid of her she’s very rude Side note I added a picture of what I had to heat my water in

Pros: the view is stunning if you have an oceanfront room. The hotel workers are friendly. Cons: the rooms need to be updated. There was no lock on the door to the terrace. We were only given two towels; it took housekeeping awhile to bring us more. The food was not good in the two restaurants we visited. The drain in the sink was slow. The water/ice machine on our floor wasn't working. We had to go to another floor.

The hotel infrastructure is a little old but we had a very comfortable stay. None of the hotel staff speak English but they were very polite and trying to find other ways to communicate. Breakfast buffet had a good variety and the pools were really nice. We also booked massages at the spa and Abril was an incredible masseuse.

Just came back from this place. Had a group of 20 people go. First off check in times. It took 3 hours to check in. The receptionist didn't speak English. Then finally get a room key. I payed for a ocean view room. My view was the side of another resort. I went back down and tried to explain to them that I wasn't satisfied with my room. They gave me another room I tried to use my key card to get in the new room. It didn't work. I had to go back down and explain to them that the key didn't work. Finally get in the room. The room was clean. The complaint I had with the room was the water. My shower had not hot water and barely drizzled out. On to the next...The food. HORRIBLE! Nachos for breakfast. No bacon, no sausage, no butter, no syrup. No entertainment during the day or night. We couldn't even have our Bluetooth speaker play during the day at poolside. Pool bars close at 6pm. Cheap alcohol. Friends had more problems than I did. AC didn't work in multiple rooms. No water pressure or hot water. Room keys not working. Tried to call front desk multiple times and no answer. Went to the front desk and they were dumbfounded. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT EAT, DRINK AND RELAX!

Swim up pool, beach front room was really nice. Too bad as the staff was overall unhelpful, there was no internet in the room as promised online when booking. The coffee maker was broken but they did eventually replace it after waiting in our room for an hour, 3 phone calls and a visit to the front desk after we were hung up on. Buffet food was unimpressive and way over priced. Would not return to this resort.

My Fiance' and I take a trip to Cancun EVERY February for our birthdays and Valentines Day. We stay on the Zone but like to try different hotels each time. EVERY hotel we have stayed at has been excellent. This Feb. we are staying at this hotel. I'm worried that this trip will be ruined if all of the bad reviews are true. It will ruin our birthdays & Valentines Day which are special to us since they all fall within the same week. I am hoping we are not disappointed as we chose this hotel with the expectation that it would be clean, friendly and they would have activities and entertainment for Valentines Day. Fingers Crossed!

Phenomenal hospitality. Bilingual staff which helped with my not so great Spanish. Cleaned the room daily, and everyone made sure to smile and wave every time you would cross paths. We did not have all-inclusive, so the bar tab was a little complicated, but other than that great experience for our first resort.

This was the best stay we have had! It was the most relaxing stay. The whole staff was incredibly amazing and so attentive to everything we needed! The bartenders Santiago and Jorge were amazing. We were in a room with a swim up pool which was incredible with an awesome view of the beach. A total 10/10 stay would definitely go back. It’s a very relaxing resort with public huts and beach chairs for use. The food at the restaurants was very good, and amazing restaurants within walking distance if you want something different. The maintenance and housekeeping team kept everything up to par and very clean! Thank you thank thank you to the whole staff!!!!

Warning to anyone considering booking this hotel. First, I want to say that many of the positive reviews about this hotel must be from fake accounts. I spoke to several hotel guests and none were anywhere near satisfied. The only thing that is actually good is the view if you stay facing the sea. To begin with, the food is absolutely terrible, the service is extremely poor, and the treatment is the same. And the hotel has made it a system to charge extremely expensive extra fees if you happen to make the slightest mistake or stain something. We ourselves experienced this and it was a very unpleasant experience when they contacted the police when we refused to be subjected to extortion. There are many similar cases to read about on various hotel sites. We booked the hotel partly because it seemed to have a nice gym, but the photos of the gym on the hotel's website and hotel sites are completely misleading, it's not even the same room and there are only dumbbells and some half-broken machines, plus it's extremely dirty. The Wi-Fi is a joke, works very very poorly. The pool facing the sea has only 3 sun loungers and 4 covered beds, they are also very dirty. And the bar at this pool only has pizza to eat and closes at 6 pm. The pool in the middle of the hotel has 7 sun loungers and some covered beds. So getting a sun lounger/bed is almost impossible unless you get up very early. There are sun loungers on the beach but too few and most are broken. One of the elevators (out of 2) was more broken than whole, which creates irritation and waiting time. That this hotel would have 4 stars is a big big joke. The standard is more like a poor hostel. I have stayed at many hotels on all continents so I know what I'm talking about. The feeling one gets is that there are some corrupt opportunists running this hotel. Absolutely zero sense of customer care.
