I have been in Cancun for a month and this is the worst place I have stayed. The staff is rude, unknowledgable and ignorant. Parking is not included, omg. I think a saw bug shell on my bed. They smile in my face and didn't even validate my Parking. The location is nice but otherwise I pass. Go across the street to the Vancouver tower, once you find the entrance it will be worth it. This place ducks. If I could give it negative stars I would.

Well, first of all the rooms aren’t cheaper in price. I know that the prices are very competitive but you could really get better hotels in hotel zone for the same price, it’s just their availability is very limited and these guys are always available due to obvious reasons. The rooms are pretty old as already mentioned by many visitors here. No view, just an under construction building and their trying to peak into your rooms whenever they get chance, so forget about chilling in the balcony. Rooms (1/5) Service desk is as lively as North Korea’s tourism. They took so long to get us checked in that it was almost the check out time. Seriously guys, if you’re reading it you need to buckle up. People mostly arrive tired at hotel and they need a room to rest their bums and also please start picking up the reception phone. (Service: 1/5) The location is pretty decent and has almost all the major visiting areas/attractions at a subtle distance. (Location: 3/5) Overall, avoid this hotel as it could be a big turn off especially if you’re habitual of US hotel chains. And please let me know the firm’s contact number which has given them 4 star rating. Cancún was cool though!

We booked a standard room that included a balcony. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a nice view from our balcony. Location was great; Walking distance to the mall and many restaurants. Outdoor pool was clean and well-maintained. Poolside service was excellent – Special thanks to Marco who was welcoming and took really good care of us during our stay. Our booking included a free buffet breakfast, which was also great. Dining room was clean and there were many selections of food to choose from.

This was absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in!! They said they were a 4 star hotel but it was more like a 1 or 2 star. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was FREE! NOT CLEAN!! Dirty carpet in the halls and dirty walls! Hair all over the floor AND in the shower. Very basic! We had a broken door, leaking shower and Broken toilet. Almost 2 hours to check in. When you walk up to the front desk they don't even acknowledge you. When I called from the room we got a busy signal all 6 days we were there on every extension in the hotel. No microwave no fridge. Only one chair in the room so one of us had to sit on the bed all the time. I personally don't like sitting on the bed in street clothes. They only give you 2 towels and when I asked for more they never brought them up. Half of the outlets in the room were broken! It was just all around BAD!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!

This was a nice hotel with outdoor pool & restaurant. Breakfast had many options full buffet style and omelettes made to order. you can tell it’s an older establishment that they have done very well at remodeling & updating. Just a few cons to our stay 1. They are very adamant about not allowing anyone check in before 3 PM. lobby was very crowded as people were waiting until 3 PM to lineup for check in. That process took about 30 minutes waiting in the check in line. 2. Hallways very hot & muggy no air conditioning in hallways 3. Bathroom shower head came from the ceiling; so you cannot shower without getting your hair wet. Pros. 1. Great location next to restaurants bars and mall 2. Bellmen very helpful always ready to assist 3. Gives access to their sister property for an extra charge but it was well worth it. The sister probably was beautiful, swim up bar , a few Infinity pools activities in one of the pools, plenty Cabanas, umbrellas and chairs. Very satisfied with this as our hotel pick & price.

I do not recommend coming here. Not close to anything worth wild. Do not pay for all inclusive as that doesn’t mean anything here. I stayed here two nights and didn’t have hot water for shower both nights. No fridge in room No microwave in room Don’t pay for a view as there is no view just construction work going on all around you. The hotel is an older hotel and you can tell. When you do pay for the food at their restaurant it’s garbage. Lol when I asked for extra ketchup the waiter handed me one packet of ketchup and said that’s all he could give. Absolutely do not recommend

I stayed here for 1 night and 2 days with my family and would NOT recommend this hotel. Everything was fine until 2am. This hotel has mostly connecting room so the room next to us was having a Domestic Violence Dispute. I had to call security and a supervisor so they could control the situation. I was so Furious because I was with my husband and my 5 year old. And to have my son listen to that was heartbreaking. Another issue was the Manager in the afternoon, he needs to be demoted. Instead of solving problems he will avoid you. But I definitely made sure he heard me before I left!!! The only good thing about this hotel is security, bell boy, the waiters at the restaurant and one girl from the front Desk.

Well it’s not a 4 star according to my standards. Maybe a 2 star. The rooms clean but old and in need of maintenance. Coffeemaker yes but no outlet. The cord to short to reach above the television where the outlet was located. Water in the pool was not clear. Breakfast ok. But we were not allowed to start before 6:30 even though it was all there. We were 6 min early….bus pick up was 6:50

The rooms were decent but the staff at the reception is horrible, 3 people at the counter to help with checkin but just one person is working at a snails pace, took about 25 mins per guest to check in and the waiting line of guests was about 15 families waiting to be checked in I arrived an hour before check in time and my documents were gathered and photo copied and was asked to wait in the lobby. But I was later told that I had to go back and wait in the check in line at the end (which was non existent when I arrived an hour before checkin time) I asked for help but was completely ignored I was said a manager will come talk to me which didn’t happen for a good thirty minutes and the staff at the reception was completely avoiding eye contact Finally I walked myself into the administration area to ask for the manager and I was asked to leave that area. After a few mins I had a chance to speak to a person who said he was a manager and he honestly didn’t look like one and upon asking for his card he didn’t have one. By this time my 6 month pregnant wife was standing in line for over an hour and there were 2 people serving us at the same time instead of helping out other guests who are still waiting for their rooms. I would have given a no star at all for the absolute unprofessional behaviour of the reception staff. The other staff at the hotel was very courteous especially the person who helped us with the bags

I would NOT recommend staying in this hotel unless this is the only place to stay or you just don’t care where you lay your head smh. My family and I got there at night and they had no towels or wash cloths in one room and the other room had towels with stains. When I asked for wash cloths they said they didn’t have any at all to just use the big towels. Next the tub was stained like it hadn’t been cleaned so we requested to change rooms. Not to mention they took forever to check us in taking over 30 mins (after 10pm) not taking into consideration we were fresh off the plane & provided poor customer service. The food was terrible, they barely cleaned the room, the pool was dirty, and we could not get any sleep due to early morning construction at the hotel. The List goes on and at check out they had the nerve to ask me if I could go on trip advisor to give good commentary. I couldn’t wait to get out of there…..

Before you book your reservation at the hotel you must be aware that these people are here to milk your pocket.. I stayed there for 7 days and most of the staff were friendly (Very big shout out to Veronica and angel). During my stay the bathroom flooded from the AC and the safe in the room wouldn’t work as the battery died, the staff had to break the safe for us to be able to get access to our valuables and the bathroom flooded because of the ac they said. There are brown spots on the ceiling and the bathroom had some black things on the walls and floor which is not the fault of the cleaners as the hotel needs to be renovated. Couple of things you must know to avoid being swindled 1. When you rent your veh at price and you plan on returning the vehicle make sure you don’t throw away any document as they will be charging you a fee (which wasn’t stated on the documents 2. They charge 280mxn to have a visitor come visit you in your room

The lobby does not have clean sofa, neither air conditioning working in the hot and humid morning. The bed was not clean. The room has no frigobar. I had to drink warm water. Not recommend. In general the price was high but the satisfaction was low.

Recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. AVOID IT. The check-in process was slow. The room was dirty, especially the curtains and bathroom. The room windows have never been cleaned. The air conditioning broke down. The rooms have no coffee machines or even glasses. The service at the pool is non-existents and it's impossible to get anyone to help you. For the same amount of money, there are many better places in the area.

Dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. Soiled towels and bedding. The balcony door didn’t lock, manager offered for someone to clean but we missed our dinner reservation just handling this issue. Offered upgrade but not until the next day. Avoid this hotel. Stay at a Marriot or something more reputable. 1 star hotel at best

Very old hotel, room has a humidly smell, all of the staffs not professional at all. Around this area nothing fun as well. Not worth it, totally wasted my day. I suggest just go get a room at hotel zone!!

Absolutely atrocious hotel in Cancun! Disregard any positive reviews; they're likely bought and paid for! They maliciously tack on fraudulent charges under the guise of a government cleaning tax upon check-in. The service is abysmal, and the majority of the staff are downright disrespectful! They're constantly scheming to swindle you at every turn and even have the audacity to pilfer small items from your room! My airpods mysteriously vanished, only to be discovered later on the housekeeping cart!

This hotel ruined our vacation! We left since 7am And came back at 10:30 pm! We came back from Xcaret park dirty and salty!! There was a sign “ do not disturb” like we put it on! I know as a fact the 3 of us didn’t! Of course our room is NOT cleaned! Called receptionist for towels and couldn’t get a hold of anyone bc they are understaffed!! towels finally arrived at 1am! THEN TO OUR HORROR no HOT WATER! Called Expedia bc I booked thru them and they were useless! It’s the next day still waiting for hot water! The manager doesn’t arrive til 10am! We can’t cancelled bc we already checked in! They are full to capacity and UNDERstaff! They are very unethical and very unprofessional to use this dirty tactic to not clean our room by putting a “do not disturb “ sign! This is the first time I have experience such horrible! STAY AWAY FROM KRSTYAL URBAN and their affiliates

This godforsaken excuse for a Cancun hotel is a complete disaster! Don't believe a word of those sugar-coated reviews – they're all bought and paid for! They deceitfully add on these phony charges at check-in, claiming it's some government-mandated cleaning tax. The service? Pathetic! Most of the staff are a bunch of rude, disrespectful creeps! They're not just scammers; they're outright thieves, always plotting to pilfer your stuff right out of your room! My Mobile charger vanished into thin air, only to miraculously reappear later on the sly housekeeping cart!

Kind of disappointed…. Carlos, Luis, Gabriel were amazing as it relates to exceptional customer service. Very polite, and informative. My issue was the balcony doors don’t lock and the room was not as clean as it should have been. There was so much dirt and trash behind the big mirror. I would only stay here again because of the customer service and would request my room to be cleaned again. The property has great potential as it is centrally located and the staff are amazing.

A good priced hotel in Cancun centro. Private parking and many malls and restaurants nearby. The staff speak good English and are helpful. Buffet breakfast was OK and rooms have a good view over the city and the woods next to the beach area.

Beautiful location and the breakfast was extremely affordable for what the quality was but ..... we were informed that since we had rooms here we had acces to the sister location that has beach access. today being our last day after being here 3 days here and having a later flight we got up 7 am and planned to go to the beach for a couple hours before our check out time of 12 we asked about the passes and were informed that they dont provide passes on last day of check in . So, it has completely ruining our plans. Very disappointed in this hotel. Solely on this we would not recommend it to any of our friends and family for future trips. EDIT NOT TO FORGET the nightclub next door and across the street that play music outdoors until 6 Am.

Very nice place to stay with great restaurants in a short walk. Wish they had microwaves and small refrigerators. Be sure to get the breakfast plan. Take advantage of the beach shuttle to their sister hotel.

This a business hotel. The room they gave at the 12 floor, which was supposed to be some kind of upgrade was just ok. It felt as if it was missing something. Clean spacious with your typical marble old fashioned beige marble floor all over the room. Breakfast was more on the bad side, but eatable. With the egg station being what saved the morning. All the other buffet station had terrible looking food, and cold. For its location, this will be my second choice for a business stay, only if the renaissance hotel Cancun marina is not available, or too expensive, which is a Way way better hotel.

  • 3/5 Tyler B. 1 year ago on Google
Room was pretty good, as shown in pictures. Check in process was slow, they also gave us a room with two double beds instead of a king bed which we booked. They did eventually change it. Internet went down one evening in the rooms for a couple hours. At the pool bar waited 30 minutes before getting service. Room service was cheap although the pizza was terrible. Beach pass was nice although times to go and come back were very limited. There was your service in the building, which was a frustrating process. They made it sound easy but we arrived at our destination over 1 hour later than quoted and had more than 10% additional charge than quoted.

Great location. A shopping mall and a lot of restaurants (good ones) walking distance. People here are very nice. But after a while of hearing complaints about how badly maintained the hotel is I guess they get frustrated too. This hotel seems to be property of some penny pincher owner. Checking in took me 45 minutes because their system is slow and not guest friendly at all. I have to insist, the crew really tries hard to be serviceable but after that much time everyone gets at least annoyed Rooms definitely saw better days. Rust on the sinks, water spotting everywhere, toilet not flushing, you name it. Just makes the rooms look dirty. I had to think twice if I wanted to get under the covers or just lie down and leave the bed made. And I won't even go into their bracelet system It's cheap if you compare it to other hotels in Cancun but definitely not worth it. I wouldn't stay here for vacation and I'll look harder for options when traveling for business. I did have a very nice view from the balcony. Downside of it, music from a bar across the street goes on way past midnight.

In general the room was very clean and modern. Not much lighting inside of the bathroom but acceptable. The Bed was comfortable. The service was lacking. Not terrible but it wasn't very good. Parking available for an extra fee but really cheap. Location was good. Multiple places to visit near by and ridiculously close to the Hotel Zone.

This was an ok hotel with an outdoor pool & restaurant. Breakfast buffet style, everything dried out due to too much heat. They are very adamant not allowing anyone to check in before 3 PM. That process took about 30 minutes just to check in. No air conditioning in Hallways, it is very hot & muggy, Bathroom shower head came from the ceilings your hair must get wet. No wash cloths, no microwave or refrigerator in rooms no vending machine or ice machines on floors. Great location next to restaurants bars and malls. Issac the dining manager was very nice and helpful and made sure we were satisfied with dinner and drinks. Bellmen were very helpful and always ready to assist.

It was okay for the price. However, it is $90 U.S price from the airport. There are no shuttles. There are no vending or soda machines or ice machines. No lamps in room. No microwave and no refrigerator. The shower is nice but the shower head is in the middle of the shower shooting straight down so u must get hair wet every time u shower. The breakfast needs help. Food was ok. Service was okay. All that being said, next time I will go to an all inclusive resort. Taxis are high and you must use them outside of the convenient walk to Plaza Americas. They will run you anywhere from $10 to $30 per trip u.s.. make sure to have pesos as everyone expects pesos. ATM will charge an arm and leg for withdrawals.

Rooms are decent and bathroom has awesome water pressure and very modern. Facilities are awesome and customer service is pretty good. Mostly all of the employees are fully Spanish-speaking. Wifi speed is decent and was able to work through VPN while connected. The cons with this hotel is that there is only one plug with 2 outlets by your bed, and one as well above the TV that you would have to be tall in order to reach. There is no microwave in the room so if you order food from outside, they will not heat your food up so make sure you eat all of your food if you order outside. Wound up having to get creative and heating my food barely with a blow dryer. Hotel also has a musty smell as you get off the elevators as well as the bedroom. This place has incredible views from the balcony. Jesus at the pool bar is awesome!

Staff was friendly but when I went to my room it wasn't as shown in the pictures and moving the comforter I found hair all on the sheets like they weren't changed. I went to the front desk to ask for another room and them thinking I don't speak or understand Spanish kept saying "he just doesn't like the room" but changed it for me anyways. I was tired from the flight and ready to rest so I just took my keys. The second room was fine and the sheets seen clean. I would recommend the hotel if you just need a budget place to stay it's a good option.

Well located hotel with really friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are ok , spacious and clean but you can definitely tell it is an older building. Elevators are very slow, AC is loud, not many accessible plugs to charge your phone and our shower door didn’t close well and water leaked every time we showered. However The pool area + service there are amazing! Staying here also gets you access to their Beach Club located by the Hotel Zone which is beautiful as well! You have full access to the beach over there, towels, pools, showers, washrooms , free scheduled shuttle and 15% discount on food and drinks 👍

DO NOT STAY HERE. Whoever cleaned the room stole $140.00 from our room. Not only that but apparently they robbed multiple rooms THE SAME DAY. When management was told they said they couldn't do anything even though they have cameras!!! A big sign is at the bar, you can only pay with your card. When i asked the waiter why, he mentioned the employees would take the money for themselves.WORST EXPERIENCE

The place is very clean and they have parking on-premises and it's safe, gives you peace of mind. The breakfast has a variety of food and the coffee it's A+ Pool and bar make a perfect combination. The rooms are super clean and spacious. I do recommend this hotel.

For the price I paid, you can't beat the view. This is the 1st hotel outside of the states that made you wait to check. Even with a cash incentive. Because of that it took 1 hour to check in waiting in line. Room are no frill but will definitely do. Breakfast buffet was better than I expected. Close to every thing. Staff was nice and friendly. Shout of to front desk staff Perla.

Stood here with my girlfriend. Individuals only speak Spanish majority but that was okay because I speak both English and Spanish. Pool service was great. Food was mediocre. Drinks were amazing. Very clean facility and rooms were extremely spacious. Thank you for a great stay.
