Overall it was a good experience. This Hotel has nice clean rooms. The all inclusive is worth it if you like to eat and drink. The food is very good. the staff are friendly and helpful. The beach and the ocean view what makes it a great place to stay. The rates are reasonable. This resort was absolutely amazing! We did the all inclusive package and it was well worth it! The staff was so nice, the amenities were great and the view was beautiful. Our room was cleaned every day along with our towel doves moved in different locations with different poses (which I thought was so cute). My partner and I had the best time here. Their dinner menu rotates so you don't have to pick from the same choices every night. 10/10 would recommend!

Great experience and a pleasure to stay here. My wife and I would like to specially thank Ruben in the Deck restaurant for outstanding service. Things we really enjoyed: 1. Dinner was phenomenal. Each night was something new and delicious. And the appetizer/dessert bar was perfect on busy nights. 2. Drinks from the bars were well made and delicious. 3. Service was really good overall. The hotel staff work extremely hard and we appreciate that sincerely. Things that we didn’t enjoy as much: 1. Breakfast. Not many quality options. The hot meals were not appetizing. Bread tastes stale. Fruit was great. 2. Guests shouldn’t be allowed to smoke at the pool. It is just gross as we watch their ashes fall into the pool and have kids playing around getting second hand smoke into their lungs. 3. Room choice was not great. The room itself was nice, but the view we got was not a lagoon view. It was a corner building street view. Overall great experience. We most definitely would stay here again and recommend it to a friend. Thank you again.

Our trip has been great. Victor, Francesco and Rodrigo were awesome, they always had fun activities planned and were very kind. The bracelet making was our favourite. The food is also amazing at this resort and there is lots of variety. Drinks were great, and not watered down. I would really recommend it here!

We came here to be closer to the airport on our last night to enjoy some beach, eat and get some sleep, leaving at 5am. They put us in a room on the ground floor with a front row seat to a all night long party, that blasted house music until 4:15am. We requested a different room, which they were unwilling to accommodate. As for the food, we wouldn’t know, they wouldn’t serve us any because it was all hands on deck for their all night rager. Thankfully, I got them to bend on their no outside food policy because my wife and I needed to eat. The one redeeming thing was that the beachfront was very enjoyable, but even that considered, and this is after years of business travel, I cannot recall a memory of a worse hotel experience. There are lots of options in Cancun, don’t make the same mistake we did.

Stayed here with my family over the winter break, and it was such a wonderful experience. The service, food, location, beach, and activities were all just fantastic. We were really pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff were, especially Alberto, Eduardo, and Oscar. The pool volleyball and yoga were a highlight! The food at the main restaurants as well as the included Italian and Japanese restaurants was delicious, fresh, and offered a nice variety. We also appreciated the jacuzzi. The show they put on for New Year’s was super fun too with fire dancers and fireworks. Thank you hotel NYX!

My friends and I stayed here over New Years to celebrate our birthdays. We had a great time and will definitely consider going back for a future trip. There were a few things that we felt the resort could improve on. We booked a few months in advanced for three rooms as one reservation for the same type of room. We booked under one name assuming all three rooms would be together. Which is what we preferred since we were there for our birthdays. However, one was in a different building and the other two were on different floors in the other building. Additionally, despite all booking the same type of room we were given three different room types. Since it was a birthday celebration they did have a surprise for us in ours room. Balloons, a towel cake decorations, champagne and chocolate cake. There is A LOT of information to take in when you arrive at the hotel. One piece of information we feel could have been explained better is reservation system for the restaurants onsite. You’re only able to make reservations the day before. The restaurants are smaller and have very limited seating. They are also open to non resort guests which makes it more difficult to get a table. You also have to stay a minimum number of nights in order to be allowed to make a reservation. If you have a bigger group making a reservation is very difficult. The food overall was very good. We were surprised at the wide variety of options for the breakfast buffet. Food for lunch was pretty basic but still delicious. Bounce that you can have it delivered to you on the beach. We were not able to dine at the sushi restaurant but did have Italian and hibachi. Both were amazing. Be sure to check the menu before you order. Some items on the menu are not included in the basic all-inclusive package. The service at beach was phenomenal! Especially if you get Julio as your waiter. He was very attentive and always near by with more drinks. Julio gets a 5/5 rating alone :) The official 3 star is based on the service for the lack of help getting restaurant reservations and putting our rooms together. Additional activities were offered everyday. The entertainment team was great and made all activities that much more fun.

My experience here was amazing! The location is excellent, the resort itself is beautiful, and the staff was so attentive. Victor, and Benjamin, were wonderful with keeping everyone engaged and included in the various activities offered at the resort. They always made a comfortable and fun atmosphere for each activity. :) All workers were very attentive to our needs. This resort will be my first choice the next time I’m in Cancun and I will recommend it to all of my friends!

We spent 4 days at the NYX hotel in Cancun. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had a balcony on the ocean and the hotel has the best sunset and sunrise! The staff working there is kind, always ready to satisfy every request. The food was delicious: we tried the main restaurant, but also the Italian and the Japanese restaurant. The sushi was so good we had to go twice, plus their Japanese restaurant has the best view since it's located on the beach. Highly recommended. If one is available, we highly recommend to book one of the Balinese Cabanas on the beach.

Decent, if a bit spartan rooms. Bed isn't to my liking but isn't bad either (I'm a side sleeper, but was fine on my back). No elevator to some rooms, leading to 5 flights of stairs every time we came or went. Balcony was nice, ours had a limited view of the beach but still enjoyable to sit and relax. Pools are nice, and the beach space was good. Music was a bit loud during the afternoon. Walkable to several malls and restaurants. Bus stop heading north or south is close by. Breakfast buffet was nice, didn't bother spending the extra for lunch and dinner here when there's so many other places in walking distance. For the value I'd definitely consider this hotel again.

Nice hotel for the price, it’s a smaller hotel than the other around but it doesn’t make it any less appealing! We didn’t take all-inclusive because we left the hotel most of the time to do tours and activities. Pros: - the location is perfect, in the middle of the hotel zone so easy to access tours, easy to go downtown with the busses and easy to go to the airport! - the breakfast was delicious and had many options, special mention to the cook, making fresh food every day! - there are two pool, one very animated and one more quiet so there are options for everyone! - if you have a celebration (birthday, anniversary …), let the reception know and they’ll make a surprise in your room! Cons: - it’s loud, there are loud parties very often (at night until midnight sometimes) and with the size of the hotel, you cannot have a calm space easily. In addition, rooms are poorly isolated so if you have loud neighbours you will hear them. - they try to send you on a "free shopping tour", but they only send you to partner stores that you cannot leave, these stores give different prices if they see you’re a tourist and sell fake jewelry, at least the driver of the tour was nice. - most employees are nice but one of them, Victor Molina, was rude to us, telling bad words in Spanish thinking we don’t understand. - we had the deluxe room but it only had one bed, one chair and one desk. Also the washroom makes some noise at night and smelled bad.

Nice experience for the price of the hotel! Most of the staff is nice and friendly and trying to help! The breakfast was good and food always fresh! They also did a small gesture on our anniversary day, which was nice! If you are not big a fan of the noise, maybe it is better not to stay in this hotel, since it is kind of smaller hotel and you can hear the music coming from the ground floor due to low sound isolation! The biggest downside was the conversation with Victor Molina and his colleague! While colleague was nice and accommodating, he was interrupting us constantly and then made rude comments in Spanish thinking we wouldn’t understand! Hypocrisy in its best! Thankfully the manager was nice and talked with him, but such an experience didn’t make our stay as pleasant as it could be! Hopefully, there will be less such employees! Extra tip - don’t go to the shopping tour by the hotel, it is a rip off

This hotel is super cute, it looks like something you would stay at in Greece Clean, updated rooms. The staff was super Friendly! fantastic entertainment crew, Benjamin and jorden were a ton of fun! They had us dancing, playing volleyball and laughing non stop. We were a group of 10 and we all enjoyed the hotel. The water/beach was stunning. The serving staff at the beach was Timely and helpful. Food choices could have been a little better however we made due and did not starve. I would def go back!

Awesome place. We came here for 3 nights. Our room was ocean facing and it was serene. Staff was good and rooms were clean! They have 2 pools, jacuzzi and nice music playing in one of the pools. Transportation from airport was easy to book and fast as well. Breakfast was amazing and still missing it. The location is walkable to some clubs and shopping mall- La Isla!

Wonderful and pleasurable time! Front desk & staff are warm and welcoming upon arrival! The room is clean and fully equipped- also cleaned - fresh daily towels too! Entertainment at the pool was fun! Drinks and food were great! Friendly a professional staff on the beach . Overall my birthday was exceptionally good! I would definitely return and -or recommend to friends/family!

Francisco, Rodrigo and Victor were the ABSOLUTE best ever! They really made our trip. Customer service is the best we have ever experienced at a resort. Drinks flowing and music playing constantly. Always something to do! We had a BLAST. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Hotel NYX resides only 20 minutes away from the airport. There is a booth where excursions can be booked. The beach is only a few steps away. When you book all-inclusive, it makes your trip so easy since food is always readily available. Even snacks and drinks on the beach are catered to you! Excellent restaurant service and the hotel room is extremely clean. Felt very welcomed at this hotel, and are always greeted with a smile. There is also a complimentary photoshoot, however, only 2 free photos are included unless you opt for the package which is extra. Overall, would love to come back again with my family!!

Fun and family friendly. Lots of food variety Rodrigo, Francisco, and Victor were great with the activities. It made our day go by fast. The rooms are amazing and spacious very comfortable. Open bar starts from 10 am to 10 pm for all inclusive.

Stayed here for a week with a big group of friends, Juan Jose at the Magic Bar went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time we could and made us look forward to our evenings outside (even when it was raining). He made drinks effortlessly and even had a good attitude when we were unsure of what we wanted and would surprise us with something good!! Entertainment throughout the day was good too! Lots of fun activities to join in on!!

We had a lovely two weeks at NYX cancun. The staff, food and beach / pool area was very enjoyable. In specific, Francisco, Rodrigo, and Victor were extremely pleasant, in the entertainment sector. They ensured our days around the pool were fun and got us engaged in all sorts of activities - water aerobics and volleyball in which we joined in every day! Would recommend highly ! These guys made our holiday.

Had an amazing time! Did the water aerobics and Victor (the instructor) was an amazing instructor! He had a lot of energy and made the steps very easy to follow. Rodriguez was an awesome DJ who played all the best music to dance to! Francisco was just a cool dude and took great care of us! Altogether, they took our vacation to a whole another level. Also, Efrain who we met in the lobby also was super helpful and made us feel extremely welcomed and safe as two young travelers. Eduardo who served us at the Deck and during breakfast was also very attentive and made sure all our food was perfect!

The rooms are very nice and well equipped. Towels are changed every day. Some rooms dont have accessibility with a lift. The food is great and fresh and I have never gone hungry. The entertainment it’s great, the guys here Marco and Rodrigo taught me how to play beach volley ball. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. I mentioned in passing that it was my birthday and they made me a bracelet and made a song and dance about it around the pool, which was really special. I would love to come back next year. I'm so glad I booked my first all inclusive experience at Hotel NYX. The staff are so friendly and genuine. The hotel itself has a medieval castle vibe. It's gorgeous but not pretentious. The sushi was some of the best I've had. I just finished a bracelet making class, and learned how to make salsa yesterday. Brenda helped me set up for my bracelet and was so lovely and kind. Rodrigo and Marco were a great chat! They made me feel so welcome. Thanks guys, had a blast.

I’m here now and Hotel NYX is a hidden gem and my new favourite Mexican place, only 20 minutes from the airport on a spectacular beach. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained, staff are happy and eager to please, particularly at the front desk. Food/drinks are well above average and all meals are large. Rooms are clean and well appointed with a tv, fridge, coffee maker, free safe, large bathroom and never a hot water shortage. There is certainly nothing negative about this almost boutique hotel. Oh, and great entertainment staff. You won’t be disappointed here.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 8 days for my birthday. It was very special and the housekeepers decorate when my room for my birthday. Brenda, Fernando, Marco and Rodrigo were the best they made sure we were comfortable and always ready to be involved in activities. Barman Alberto is awesome and he made us the best drinks. The all inclusive was worth it! We love this place and we would definitely come back. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. The showers were so huge and so much room. The Halloween party was such a hit and so much fun! Fernando, Brenda, and Rodrigo made the Halloween party so amazing and got us involved in dancing with them.

This is my second time at Hotel NYX (stayed for the first time in 2021) and have loved both times. I’d recommend staying here for anyone looking for a well-priced and luxurious vacation with friends or family. Marco, Rodrigo, Fernando, and the entertainment team are very engaging and friendly and provide frequent and engaging events for guests. The food and drinks are excellent with wide variety for any taste. Every employee is very friendly and helpful. I have searched other hotels in the area and in other countries and have not been able to find anything that comes close to this high level of value!

Pretty resort, I like that it’s on the smaller side. The staff was always very helpful, super friendly and nice. Two nice pools, nice beach area. The food was amazing, as well as the waiters! Located in the hotel zone, so nice to be able to walk to shops or a quick taxi ride to wherever you want to go. My daughter and I enjoyed our week!

Hotel NYX is a beautiful hotel. We were first in a Standard room (which was spacious and beautiful) but we wanted a balcony. We upgraded to a junior suite and loved it. The hotel’s location is perfect. Right next to a bus stop which you can take to the hotel zone and direct access to the beach. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We had the best stay at Hotel NYX. 100% worth the price and will be back!

The view of the water is beautiful with the private porch our suite offered. The breakfast offers an omelette chef, a spread of fresh fruit, and real Mexican baked goods. Also, you can order the COVID Antigone test right to your room. The only issue is that NYX has club music playing in their lobby until midnight that can be heard throughout the hotel.

It’s been AMAZING!!!! All inclusive really means ALL INCLUSIVE! Drinks and food on the beach! The weather was a little iffy my last day but Jordan started a volleyball game and it was so good! I haven’t been able to play in YEARS! Jordan and Rodrigo were so friendly and welcoming. The entire staff is amazing! We will def be staying here again!

Book if you want to be disappointed. Doesn’t deserve to be a 4-star and much less a resort. By far my most disappointing hotel experience…I’m furious/disgusted to have spent money here. Stayed there Oct ‘21. 1- first impression: construction was going on. Too loud, disturbing, and unwelcoming. Gave me a headache just by being in the hotel. Asked for a room change but obviously all the rooms are “fully” booked. The receptionist didn’t even look in the system. The hotel is most likely running on overbooking. 2- it might look nice in the pictures —IT’S NOT. Misleading false advertising. Rooms are DIRTY and smell like MOLD. Corners aren’t well cleaned. Showers are filthy with rust. They flood and dont seem to dry. Furniture(and everything else) needs renovation . 3- all inclusive is a scam. the food in general not worth it. Liquor is bottom quality. Forget cocktails, it’s just sugared ice. What kind of hotel allows ONE bottle of water PER DAY per guest at an “all inclusive”?Japanese restaurant was okay but it was probably due to the chef Jorge’s and the waitresses’ great service 4- NOISE AT NIGHT. This is a party hotel. They blast music all night. Don't come here if you plan to get any sleep. This place has no honor of being called a “resort”. Save your money. They don’t appreciate the business you bring them. Even now during the pandemic. Seems like they want to cheat you for what you’ve paid for, or make you pay significantly more every step of the way. Can definitely go elsewhere with the amount paid. ONLY HIGHLIGHT: The staff members, especially the waiters are always amicable (Eduardo, Jose the chef and Miguel). Beachfront was clean. *don’t bother reading their reply below. They’ll express their apology and “hope to do better next time”. As if I’d step a foot there ever again. Heed my advice.

The service overall was great! The entertainment group was excellent. Kept the fun going all day, Jordan, Benji, and Rodrigo were tons of fun! And Juan Jose was the best bartender with excellent speed and good fun!

I had an amazing time in the NYX hotel, they had the best staff who made the whole experience and stay 15 stars!! The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and in the middle of everything! Alejandro, Rodrigo, Benjie and the rest of the entertainment staff always made the activities fun and enjoyable and I went back everyday! There is loads on offer from bracelet making to aqua aerobics but no matter what we did it was always such a laugh. The food and drinks were perfect too, there are multiple places to chose from and you even have such a great choice with all the buffet food! I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more and I would advise anyone coming to Cancun to check this place out.

One of the best hotels in Cancun! They were able to accommodate all our needs. We stayed in the master suite and the view was beautiful. It was my boyfriends birthday and they made sure he felt special. If you stay here you must get the all inclusive deals! The food is up to par and the service from all waiters are fabulous. Ask for Juan at the magic bar, he is one of the most genuine people I met there we loved him! And to mention his cocktails are very good. For waiters, Francisco and Johan were helpful and attentive giving great service at all times. Efrain, the bellhop was a very great guy as well, he was very helpful with our luggages and recommendations in where to visit in Cancun. Love the staff here will definitely come again! Very nice and genuine personalities from all these guys. 10/10. Hope to see them again on our next stay.

This was the second time for me and the third time for my boyfriend in this amazing Hotel. We absolutely loved everything about it! We had the room 702, Mastersuite with Ocean view and I can't stop thinking about it. I loved the whole Service team! Special thanks here to Danna and Rene! They were so so funny! What I especially loved this time was the amazing animation trio! Benjamin, Alejandro and Rodrigo, they made this Vacation 100% better, we had so much fun with you guys! I will never forget it. We seriously can't wait to come back again.

We had so much fun with Benjamin Rodrigo playing pool volleyball and his dancing is off the chart. Wonderful personality. Jason, Ariel, Jason, Johan, were some of our servers and they took great care of us. This is our second time at Nyx and we had more fun this year than last year and last year was a blast. So that says a lot about this year. The hibachi was great as always. Alejandro really knocked it out the park. We made a few friends this time too and took an excursion. Can't wait to be back and hoping all the same people are still here with their warm smiles and friendly service.

Great resort! Great staff. The pool/activity staff Alejandro and Rodrigo and Benji were super great and fun. We had such a great time. They played good music throughout the resort. Food was also good. They also had live bands. Overall great trip and we would love to come back.

Hotel NYX is a perfect hotel! My friends and I had a great time staying there for one week. This is a boutique hotel, which we really liked. Front desk team and the rest of the staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was really good, and there is a wide variety of what you can order! Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Lagoon view was beautiful, we had a chance to catch a few sunsets 😊 If I am ever back to Cancun, I will be definitely staying at NYX.

Absolutely amazing hotel with the friendliest staff. The entertainment throughout the day is INCREDIBLE. Victor and Rodrigo are fantastic and get everybody in the hotel going with the volleyball, water volleyball, Mexican bracelets and especially the aqua aerobics! The food is here is lovely with different themed foods every single night with helpful staff. Victor the entertainer is hilarious and so chatty and friendly. Whatever they’re paying this man it isn’t enough!! The rooms and hotel as so clean and tidy and always being cleaned. I could go on all day saying everything that’s great about this hotel but I feel you really have to experience it for yourself! We will definitely be coming back next year!! I LOVE MEXICO!!!

Jonathan,Rodrigo and Victor were great!! We loved the entertainment & there were a lot options to do stuff while we stayed. They even reached me how to dance. The rooms were clean & staff was friendly. Bartenders were super nice and attentive. Loved staying here and would stay here again!

This hotel gave us the relaxing getaway our family of four needed, which included my two young adult children. Its a smaller scale hotel, which means it doesn't have some of the things the bigger hotels have, like a nightclub for example. This was good for us because we didn't want anything too crowded. Also, this was not really a kid friendly hotel in the sense that there were literally no children's activities, which again was not a problem for us. We stayed in the sunset suite and paid for the all inclusive package. Overall, the price was right, the staff was very friendly, the food was fantastic, and the hotel aesthetic was good. I would definitely come back. Some of the perks were: Our room was newly remodeled with a good size bathroom. Our trip was in November, so we had a mature crowd. Hotel is on the beach. Hotel included a restaurant on the beach that overlooked the ocean while you dined. Or you could relax on the lounge chairs in the sand and have food/drinks brought out to you! There were a few planned activities you could participate in if that's your thing, like water volleyball. Music in the lobby bar area almost every night. Cons: There were no water sports offered through the hotel. Since the hotel sits directly on the beach, you'd think they'd offer parasailing, water skiing, kayaking, something. I know you can do this all over Cancun, it would just be cool if you could do it right at the hotel.

Had an amazing stay here. We stayed in the Sunset Suite which had a view of the lagoon and it was absolutely beautiful during sunset. We spent a lot of time on the balcony relaxing during the evenings. The hotel is super clean and all of the staff was very friendly and had the biggest smiles every day. We opted for the breakfast only option with our package and enjoyed a buffet with many choices each morning. Our server Eduardo franco did an excellent job! Definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Cancun.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel NYX. We opted to not do all-inclusive as we had several day trips planned. The bars and restaurants in the hotel had reasonably priced and tasty food and drinks, breakfast was included. There were always some activities going on, whether it was live music, yoga, or water aerobics and the staff was lively and so polite. The beach chairs were really nice and being able to get clean beach towels daily was helpful for sure. The hotel was clean and organized, even had a little convenience store and ATMs in the lobby. It was my birthday during our stay so the hotel set up a cute little surprise of balloons in my room. Would definitely stay again on our next trip!!

My friends and I had such a great experience here! The beach was so beautiful, as were the rooms and the food and drinks were delicious! The staff were also amazing! Francesco, Rodrigo and Victor were great, hosting lots of great activities like water volleyball, bracelet making and cooking classes! They also helped us plan activities off the resort as well. This was a super memorable experience and I would love to return!

The trip was so much fun. I was always looking forward to the meals as the food was always amazing. The staff was exceptional. They were so nice and friendly especially the entertainment team Alberto, Marco and Rodrigo. Disclaimer they’re always dancing but we love it. They kept us entertained the entire time especially when we played water volley which I was always excited for. Also, shout out to our favourite server at the deck Jesus Guillermo he provided amazing service and always brought us surprise drinks that we didn’t even ask for (give this guy a pay raise!). Had the best time. Everyone was super awesome. Had a blast with Alberto, Rodrigo, and Marco. We made bracelets and played volleyball. Also loved Juan Jose for all the special drinks he made my friends and I. The food at Umi was incredible and the buffet was great too.

Alberto, Rodrigo, and Marco made our stay very wonderful. We did the water volleyball, bracelet making, and mixology class with them and it was so much fun!! They gave us wonderful service and always made us feel welcome. I really enjoyed the sushi as well.
