There’s a lot that went wrong with this resort. I’ll start with that first; -If you book as a group, they charge an extra $30 per person as “insurance” that you never get back. They don’t inform you this when you book and it doesn’t say that anywhere on the website. We got ripped off by this because so many other people did not have to pay this. -my room was disgusting, the toilet leaked, the shower head was filthy with green deposit all over, our fridge had other peoples items in it, our sheets and towels were stained, the shower would go hot and cold, used toiletries, etc. -the hotel staff in general were just rude - construction was happening in the hotel I was staying at…. So you would hear everything. The walls are paper thin in general. Don’t sell rooms in a building that’s being worked on, it’s as simple as that. - it seemed like they cared more about keeping the stuff that people see new, but when it comes to rooms they don’t care. - the public bathrooms outside were disgusting and half of the toilets didn’t work - the pool is DISGUSTING. I would not dip my head under because there was dead skin and scabs floating around, there were cups thrown in the pool, dirty plates. It’s really gross Now for the good parts; -the restaurant and bar staff were awesome. They were always so nice and they made my trip better. -the food was good. If you are expecting amazing food for an all inclusive trip, then you are just wrong. The food wasn’t amazing but I saw so many people saying it was disgusting. It’s not disgusting and I was shocked when I tried the food because I was expecting the worst. It’s good food. - the experience in general was a good time, if you are young and you go with the right group you will have a fun time. I think this resort is good for college kids. I wouldn’t bring your kids here and go on vacation here if I was older. I won’t be back because it was very frustrating seeing how gross my room was. But the overall experience was good.

I’m going to begin saying Grand Oasis Resort is NOT worth the price compared to all the resorts nearby. The food is DISGUSTING, kitchen staff are extremely stingy and you literally have to beg for more food and even then they act like it’s coming out of their own pocket... horrendous behaviour. The rooms were okay at best and they had no blankets... expected us to sleep with sheets. I will say the room service was good and they came on time everyday and provided water bottles on a daily basis, but that does not justify the rest of the experience being bad. The bar service was okay but the bartenders were clearly annoyed all the time and expected a tip at all times. Many of the stands like towel service and fresh food stands closed very early, leaving you with no choice but to eat at the buffet which was disgusting... although I will say the breakfast was very good. Lastly, I will say the beach and pools look and feel amazing to be in. There were two in-pool bars which were nice but they were always crazy rush around them. In terms of party life there was only one club open which was only open until roughly 12am... pretty sad. Overall the best part of the trip was visiting the beach, which you can find in almost any resort. Which is why I do NOT recommend anyone staying here, unless you like underwhelming resorts.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Let me start off saying it’s ranked so bad compared to other all exclusive resorts in Cancun. It’s rated as one of the worst resorts in the world on other websites. Those websites listen to them. We didn’t listen to reviews and had a terrible time at the grand oasis. Nothing is grand about this place to start off with. Food terrible no flavor. Beach dirty. Pool dirty. Rooms filled with bugs. One room didn’t even have air conditioning and they put us in there! That’s uncalled for we had to be placed into three different rooms because of the bugs and then the air conditioning in the second room was broken! I already know I’m getting this response by management: “Thank you very much for taking the time to share comments about our establishment, thank you for letting us know the inconveniences you had so we can enforce and improve the service, as your comfort and satisfaction are really important to us. Best regards, Grand Oasis Cancún.” Like no this isn’t good enough! Because all these reviews go back so far in time and you have done nothing to fix any of these issues. This place is the worst it should be shut down. I’m not sure how they are passing any health inspection tests at this place. Food wasn’t edible even… just be aware before staying here! Also if you need something fixed in your room don’t call for help because they are useless! Also if you don’t speak Spanish don’t come here cause that’s all they speak when other resorts and restaurants were speaking perfect English. Do better Grand Oasis….

Me and my wife have been there plenty of times and we love it! We go about 2 times a year and they are always so accommodating with everything. The beaches are everything you could ever imagine and more!! We have stayed over 15 times an every time we go there is always something new in the hotel. The food is amazing so much to choose from. The staff always does there best to make sure we have everything we need at all times. There is amazing shopping an friendly faces everywhere. We highly recommend this for your next vacation!!

Let’s start at the beginning check in process was very long. 100 + people in line in front of us. Would not let us check in early so we went and got some food. The food here is disgusting, we tried almost every restaurant including the steakhouse. The only decent food was the Italian and it was average at best. We ended up waking across the street and paying for food. (Dons tacos) which was delicious! We got to our room and the water was brown, paid for an ocean view and the ocean was nowhere in sight. Didn’t see any bed bugs like some of the other reviews stated. We got a call on the phone in our room at 5:30 am which woke us up saying they accidentally called the wrong room. Check out took forever. Every single minor thing here takes FOREVER. The staff was friendly and the shows at kinky club were good but that’s about it. The pool is seemed clean as well but we didn’t use it. Definitely would never stay here again. I have been to Mexico several times and never gave a resort a bad rating but for the love of god do not come here!

Let this be the review that stops you from booking at this resort. Here is a list of reasons NOT TO STAY HERE!! I came to the pyramid at grand oasis with a group of friends and this is my honest experience. Please do not waste your money. 1. The food is absolutely DISGUSTING. The buffet and the restaurants are all very poorly seasoned and under cooked. We lived off of the chicken tenders and fries. I have NEVER been to a resort that the food was this bad. We literally had to leave the resort to eat every day. (The food was that bad) 2. The grounds and rooms are so poorly kept.Listen to the reviews that mention the rooms being outdated because it’s very true!! Our room was so dirty when we first arrived. The sheets smelled used and sweaty no matter how many times they were changed. We experienced heavy rain during our stay and the lobby was filled with guest begging to have their rooms changed due to the ceiling leaking and flooding. The pools are filled with used tissues, dirty cups and food all the time !!!! They never clean anything! 3. Something VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE. If you are staying at the grand oasis and NOT the pyramid you will receive a blue wristband and have very limited access to the restaurants and bars on the grounds. (We had a black wristband and full access.) we often heard those with blue wrist bands complaining that they were never able to eat breakfast due to there being only one location they were allowed to eat. 4. The drinks are HORRIBLE absolutely DISGUSTING. I promise you the frozen drinks will be watered down to a point where you taste no slush. They are distasteful. I say this with no exaggeration the drinks are disgusting. 5. The bathrooms all over the grounds are unclean and remain untouched through out the day. They smell horrible ALL THE TIME. 6. The grounds are honestly UNSAFE for a drunk adult. For ANYONE for that matter because Every bathroom is accessed by a slippery set of stairs due to people being in and out of the pool or rain. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I would give zero stars if i could.

The Grand Oasis is certainly Grand in scale & design. There are impressive buildings, interesting design touches, etc. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is nice. Service is mostly excellent, but sometimes a little unpredictable. It is very clean. The pools are large and do a great job of being a place to cool off while sunbathing. But there are some negatives. First, it tries to be first class, but the little touches aren’t quite perfect - tiles off alignment, grout a bit uneven, lots of uneven walking surfaces for no particular reason. But those are quibbles. Here’s my problem with the hotel. The food is bad. Even the fancier restaurants like the steakhouse. Very tough meat, veggies just boiled, etc. if you’re not picky on your food this could be a great place for you. But I won’t be back, because food is a key part of the all-inclusive package for me.

This by far was the absolute worst hotel that we have ever stayed in!!! Not only was the food and cleanliness horrible but they have BED BUGS!!!!!! We went as a family and had 2 different rooms. They changed 1 room and the new room still had it. We were eating in one of the restaurants and there was a roach on the floor running around!! Do NOT stay here! Also your care goes by band colors. Anything below a black band you don’t matter to them!

This hotel is no more than a 3 star. It’s such a shame because it could be a lovely place. But they try to rip you off. The rooms are just basic. The staff at the reception desk are liars. If you are a family with small children (prams) or disabled DO NOT go to this hotel. Very limited accessibility. If your just looking for a cheap basic holiday then this your place. Good luck 🙈

Do not. I repeat do not book here. They will not give you water. There is no service. The food is terrible and very low quality. There are people trying to get you to spend $30k to buy in here. It’s a joke. If you want to be treated like crap then stay. Otherwise book elsewhere. This is the least inclusive vacation I’ve ever had. There is only 3 restaurants out of at least 10 included, everything else is a charge or a $57USD per person/ per day charge. Not worth even a bit. The one great thing amazing, the beach is great and the staff running the sport programs are great Just be prepared for nothing to be included. Everything is an up charge. Don’t go. Dear Grand Oasis Cancun, Treat your guests better.

If you are looking for decent service, do not even think about coming here. Check in wait was 2 hours with 4 people in line. Workers in hotel barely understand English. When you try to understand or ask for help they direct you somewhere else and the cycle keeps repeating. My family and I were here for 5 days, our room was only cleaned twice after asking them to clean. Bed sheets? Dirty floor? Dirty? New towels ? You might as well wait until they feel like coming. Supervisors ? Worse than the workers. Every guest we talk to also experience these issues. Only good service was in the restaurants. Take your hard earned money somewhere else. Would never ever recommend this place or come back again

This resort is huge, be ready to do a lot of walking when going here. Has some really nice spots and it seems they try there best to accommodate as much as they can. With that being said, this resort needs to step it up. Our room; the room is nice, but the "ocean view" wasn't really ocean view.. we barely saw the ocean. If we did not keep the air conditioning on, the whole room would become moist/wet .. even the tv!! Food; you need to make reservations for the restaurants and we were only able to get one for the steakhouse which was not very good. The buffet had a lot of food, but we did not try anything besides the basics as we didn't wanna risk it. Beach club; the beach club was a lot of fun as they had different activities on stage along with music. Music began at 1 and ended at 5 while the activities on stage went from 3-5. Pool; the pool was nice, but they do not have speakers all around so you cannot hear the music being played. The swim up bars are also nice, but there aren't many of them. Around the resort there is a random smell which was bad. Elevators were sketchy as well, one of them got stuck so we had to push the door open ourselves once we reached our floor. Service; the workers here were really nice and helpful. Whenever we needed something, they were pleased to help which we appreciated.

I stayed at the Grand Oasis 1/5 - 1/9. The quality of the hotel was similar to a motel. However, I did meet some people during my stay who booked through third parties and paid half of what I paid per night. I booked directly through the hotel and paid over $250 a night. So I was very disappointed with terrible bottom shelf liquor. The food was not just terrible, but barely edible. The best food is at the restaurants, most of which make you reserve 24 hours in advance and they are not accommodating.Even if half the restaurant is empty. You also have a short window of time to eat at the restaurants as they only open for dinner and close by 9pm. They did not clean the room until our last night. And our mini fridge was never restocked with soda and water. I was told by some other guest that no one ever came around to fill theirs up. The room is unappealing, the beds don’t even have blankets. Just two thin sheets and the one night our room was clean we were left without the second sheet. Do not expect clean towels or your trash to be changed, even if requested. The pool bar with Gustavo and Juan was the best part of the resort. They made sure we had a good time! All of the bartenders and service workers were very nice and went above and beyond. However, the adult only area closes at 5pm and there weren’t any events for adults the whole time I was there. The one nightclub on the resort called Coyote closes at 11pm and isn’t open on Sundays. The entire pool closes at 8pm. So if you stay here expect to have early nights. Overall if you can get a room here for $130 a night, then you will get what you pay for. And you can take the bus or a taxi to the hotel zone to eat better food and go to the strip at night for affordable drinks. If you are paying $250-$300 including taxes and the cleaning fee you can find better for the same price.

Don’t waste your time or money. Literally the worst vacation of my life. Food was atrocious, the rooms are dirty, bathroom falling apart and has mold in the shower, room smelled heavily of smoke, service is terrible and clearly overworked/underpaid. The buffet was more than questionable, meats sitting out for hours. Even restaurants weren’t good and made one of us sick. I don’t know how this place has 3.7 stars. Even our rep said there have been 40+ complaints from guests in the last month alone, just from the booking company. Save your money and don’t book here. We ended up moving resorts because it was so bad. The only okay thing was the beach - beach was beautiful. Everything else was lacking. Maybe an okay vacation if you’re 20 and wanting to get drunk with friends all day and not eat, but not even cheap so would not recommend to anyone.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights which was great - I'm sure if we had stayed any longer we would have not had the best time. The staff does a fantastic job considering they have 5 different hotel buildings they cover. Someone was always able to help u, our check in process was smooth, the room was clean (bur definitely needs a upgrade like others have mentioned) the food was good (I loved the breakfast) and there were parts of the pool that were amazing (and parts that were gross). Overall it was a good hotel that catered to the party and family popular well. The only problem we faced were that you can heat EVERYTHING from the hallway while in your room which can make it difficult to sleep at night!

The room I paid for and the room I got were NOT the same. The two queen beds was replaced with a king bed and a roll away bed. It had no bedding on it. It also took 2 days to get the bedding. Our refrigerator was not filled the entire week long stay. Even with multiple calls to request it be filled. In the 6 days I was there our room was "cleaned" once. The restaurants that were reservation only were impossible to get into. You may as well have started the request for dinner when you booked the room and still wouldn't be able to get in. The pools seemed clean along with the property. The pools were warm. It was almost impossible to get a chair by the pool. 100% of them were covered in beach towels that nobody even used for hours throughout the day. They should have let other customers use those after a certain amount of time. The beach was nice. The waves were huge but nobody can control the weather. The drinks were good, they all tasted the same but did what they were supposed to do. The food in the buffet was not good. That was the only place we could eat the entire time because the lines were so long at other places and the reservations were non existent. The best food we had was when we left the resort and went downtown and at the airport. All of the wait staff/bartenders were fabulous!! The concierge staff at the small desk by our room were rude and did not help/assist in any way. When I booked we got a "deal" I don't think it was worth the price for what I paid including the deal. Besides the wrong, filthy, never stocked room, I would recommend the property. Maybe just for a day pass.

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! We experienced major issues from start to finish on our trip. My best friend and I decided to book this together and we specifically booked 2 beds, upon arrival they told us they only had a room with one king size bed available. We then ventured up to our room and upon entering smelled the strongest Gasoline aroma in our room. An open container of gasoline had been left open in our room. We had to move out of that room an into a different room. Next, we tried to go enjoy the pools and amenities as advertised, except the entire resort was overtaken with kids on Spring break. Be especially careful not to book this “adults only” resort during college spring break season. Your trip will not be relaxing or fun. We purchased an all-inclusive alcohol package and despite the fine print saying “all gratuity included” we couldn’t even use it because of the 30+ minute wait at each bar. Service staff at restaurants were the only part with great service, but we still wouldn’t return.

DON’T STAY HERE!!!!! , I must say that the videos and pictures on their website are misleading. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. I’m here on vacation and I can’t wait to go back home! Worst hotel by far! 90% of the staff does not speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them and they are not warm . the managers and supervisors have no idea what building management is and have no clue how to address the concern of their guest! The entire establishment is dirty . The rooms are a huge disappointment. The bathrooms are disgusting paint splattered all over the walls, broken toilet seats and tub that fills up with water while taking a shower. the mirrors are old and need to be cleaned. The entire hotel needs to be remodeled We paid for all inclusive, the food was horrible and I was afraid to eat Long story short get another resort. This is not worth the aggravation . All the way from another country this was a total waste of money and vacation time .

The hotel on first appearance/lobby was impressive. The service desk was VERY slow. The pools and landscaping were nice and restaurants were decent and the beach was also nice. Upon closer inspection of the rooms they were in need of repairs. Our tub was cracked around the drain and you began to notice more and more wear and tear. Getting Towels in the morning/throughout the day usually included a wait. I suggest you make reservation at the restaurants to avoid having to wait in line at the buffet. They did have an app that helped with the reservations so that you did not have to get up and try to wait in line like at some other locations. Service was spotty also as I requested an extra blanket for our kids, twice which NEVER came and the hotel mixed up a payment and locked us out of the room Not 1 but twice... While Staying at the hotel we decided to spend a little extra to be pampered at one of the onsite beach clubs. We booked a spot and it was stated we had the location from 11 to 6 pm. We showed up around 1115 to not find or see anyone there. We finally found someone who got us to our covered hut... which had 1 big flat bed like thing and 2 chairs in the sun. The workers seems to be scrambling to set up. They took our drink order and brought them back. When we asked about included snacks they did bring my daughter some fries and chicken fingers. That was is.. nothing else. They did tell us where we could go to get snack (which was the regular included food service). We also had to ask for towels and since they took so long bringing them my husband went back to our room and got our own. The lunch that was included was nice but I think we only were asked 1 other time for anything to drink. After going swimming me and my daughter were relaxing waiting for my husband and son to come back from the ocean when the workers started to clean up. It was 5pm. The worker came and asked me for the towels that he had given us. We gave back all we could but my son had 1 down at the beach. The worker left with the 3 towels (now 515pm) and that was the last time we saw him or anyone. So much for 11 to 6 pm. It was a total waste of money.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Please read. I never leave reviews, but I figured I could save somebody by doing it. The food at every restaurant besides two places that you need reservations for multiple days in advance is terrible. A couple days in I decided to try the chicken wings and got the worst food poisoning of my life! This gets gross, but I had explosive everything and at times couldn’t make it to the bathroom and you can guess what happened all over the bed/room. This lasted an entire week of being on the toilet sweating profusely. This isn’t the only bad thing as if it rains the water doesn’t drain properly. There was water leaking in all the hotels, restaurants, and all over the resort. The only somewhat positive thing I can say was service was alright as most where pretty friendly. Everything else terrible. Spend a little more and don’t ruin your vacation or end up in the hospital where I should of went, but I’m too stubborn.

So far so good currently we are in house guest in room 1454. So far our experienced was great! Despite of a lot of negative reviews I saw online I guess on our case was different and it’s positive experienced so far and hoping for the best until we check-out! Service was incredible from Guest Service to all different departments. I want to commend Fatima of GS Pablo of Bahia Steak house and to all the staff. I will continue my review after we check out. But so far it was a great experienced :) PS : I am the one who put the Cake topper and sticks on the cake lol:) But thank you so much for cake and champagne surprise:)

I am so mixed on this one ... but I feel these reviews can help others, depending on what you are looking for. The Grand Oasis is beautifully located. The beach is stunning. These two things were key for my daughter and I. The grounds well kept with gorgeous peacocks roaming. The rooms are simple ...We were given the sunset view room which we loved and appreciated. However, the food was not good ... very boring, labels not correct at all - on all days. Staff not very friendly. We did not feel warmly welcomed as we have in previous Mexican resorts. I got food poisoning but I am not sure if this was from the hotel or eating out to be clear the 1 time, but my stomach was not okay for the rest of the trip. I was bed ridden and begged for room service and would have paid for it but they would not assist. I had to pull myself out of bed to find bread / fruit and food for my daughter, this left a terrible taste in my mouth. I will also add that we did enjoy the lively atmosphere and the entertainment, the hammocks throughout the hotel were relaxing but I don't think I would return back to this resort all in all.

Most of the staff at the resort are fantastic - housekeepers do a great job - they work hard and have to cover a lot of rooms in this large resort. The porters are also fantastic. The lady who looks after the cigar bar is amazing. She made me and everyone who came in feel welcome. This is a 3 star resort so people need to come with realistic expectations. If you're looking for 5 star you have to pay for 5 star. Having said that I can echo some of the concerns people have regarding check in process which is unnecessarily slow and the condition of the rooms - I had some water ingress from the balcony to the floor of my oceanfront room. To the hotels credit they had teams working on renovating the rooms and doing small building works on the grounds while I was there - December 2021. With these issues fixed my review goes from 3 stars to 5. 99% of guests are great but I did hear of some incidents of violence amongst young people - they should be ashamed. The resort provides security along the beach to keep an eye on young people during the day and late at night. I would come back since I had a great time but would first need to see the issues with the rooms and check in had been fixed.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice for the price compared to other hotels in the area. The room was a decent size the only down side was it wasn’t as modern but it is an old hotel. The lobby is very beautiful and the have some nice shows there. We stopped by the club one night before going out and had more fun there than on the strip. The food was not good at the restaurants we ate at but the quick bites places were decent. The peacocks around the property are beautiful. Overall I’d recommend if you are on a budget.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cancun for the first time. Very safe, great food, lot of entertainment, beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. This place is very beautiful, I can’t emphasize how elegant the resort is. You just got to go and see it yourself. We had transportation service from and to the airport. You can also request a taxi if you’re going outside the resort. The staff is there to help make your stay a memorable one.

On the first day they gave us the wrong room that had 2 beds instead of a King bed. We were relieved when they assigned us a new room because it was in a much nicer building. The resort overall gives a dirty feel. The beds are uncomfortable. The pools have litter around it and cups in the pool from the pool bar. I was surprised to see no sanitizing stations in the eating areas. The food was absolutely terrible. The lady at the hamburger shack made my burger with no gloves. I requested that she put gloves on and remake it. It was disgusting.

This place was not what the website states and what we expected. Day 1 we had two hotel rooms joint together and only one room had a good AC. The other was hot and we had to have the door open so that we can share the AC. Also the fridge did not work well and phone didn’t work in one room. We requested another room and they keep telling us to come back in 30 minutes and then again in an hour. Day 2 still in the same room with AC not working. They gave us another room but was warm. they gave us was an upgrade to black bracelets. Communication between employees is bad. We had to keep repeating our AC issue to a new concierge. This resort only has AC in the rooms and some restaurants. It is super hot! Day 3 had a power outage at 10:00 pm for 2 and a half hours. NO AC and they told us it was a government issue. Room towels are limited or they would just forget to bring us some. This will be our last visit.

I went to this resort for my college spring break and it was amazing! We read reviews before booking the hotel and were prepared for some bad service. However, we booked the pyramid (highest tier) and it was worth every penny! The restaurants available to us were incredible, and there were never any lines. Additionally, the bar lines were cut in half with our higher tier bracelet. The service was amazing, the room was beautiful, and overall I am very happy with our experience at this resort.

Don't stay here. Resort is absolutely bottom tier when it comes to the "all inclusive aspect". Food is barely edible, drinks will not even give you a buzz after downing 10+ of them, and the rooms are absolutely disgusting. The rooms feel nasty to stay in. We had to ask for a room change because the first one was that bad. The pool is nice, the parties are nice, and the beach is nice. But you have to walk like a half mile to get anywhere around the resort. I wouldn't stay here again but I'd probably stop by for a day party. Spend a little bit more money and go to a better resort, just read the reviews

WORST HOTEL EVER !! Do NOT stay at this hotel. Your vacation will be ruined . It is horrible from the time you check in (takes FOREVER) to the time you check out - I couldn’t do the automatic self check out, the machine said to go to the front desk. The like to do a manual check out was HUGE. Finally we talked to someone and they said I had a balance of over 21k pesos ( that’s how much I paid to stay there for 4 nights and I had already paid the whole thing). We get to the room and there’s no water , nothing in the mini fridge which they said if they restock it they would charge me, there’s no soap and no towels. Room is very old and very small. There’s no waiters at the pool and good luck finding pool towels. They either don’t have them or send you to a specific area. Food is really bad. Huge lines to go get breakfast every morning and really hard to make reservations at the “good” restaurants which aren’t even that good. I talked to someone about all the bad experiences I had and they said “ if you didn’t like it don’t come back”. I’ve been to cancun and the riviera Maya several times and this was by far the worst experience ever. Would not stay here again and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The grounds are well kept and really nice. The rooms are nothing like shown on the website. They are old and dirty. We had a cockroach in our bathroom the second night. The room cleaning service is awful! Had to beg for fresh towels and water bottles everyday. The resort has 11 or 12 restaurants but you can only access less than half if you are not staying at the pyramid. if you have children under 18 - not much activities ..pretty boring. huge section at front of beach is only accessible to adults. you cant even walk through if you have children under 18. Overall overpriced for what you get!!!

This is a massive resort with lots of places to explore. Many options for food on resort and it is great food. The resort is very well maintained and is very pretty and clean. The rooms were what you would expect in Mexico but what I didn't expect was to have the door between my room and the next room sealed up by a think piece of panelling. I could hear the next door baby cry every single night. I think if it wasn't for the rooms lack of privacy I would rate it a 5.

This was my first experience visiting Mexico, with my family. We have a 3 year old and a 12. The resort is beautiful, food was delicious, the locals were wonderful and so was the beach and water. I would not recommend this place for people with young children, it has so much entertainment at night ( which is fantastic for some) But for young children it was very noisy all night long. A big thank you to all of the service people on the resort❤️ I feel so sad that you work so hard and are one of the only places left that are required to wear face masks. It is so hard to breathe in them and then you add the heat, and your hard work. To the management and to whom is making these policies, please stop making your employees wear masks, it is off putting to the travellers ( thinking there is something wrong at the resort) and is straight up cruel to your employees. Please set them free

We definitely had a wonderful experience, the water is so warm, bars on different locations of the pool. The beach is right in the bottom. Multiple locations you can eat at, but if you want to eat at a restaurant for dinner wake up early in the morning about 8 o’clock to make a reservation before they close at 12, they do book up. There’s a steakhouse we didn’t get to try.the Buffy might be your best place if you do not have a reservation because you have varieties of options. And the chicken tender spot was wonderful. We were transferred over because we were in another hotel and we all wanted to be together. Somethings were wrong with my room guaranteed I think they gave it to us because we technically needed a spot but my fridge was not cold, the light was on. But it wasn’t cold. The holder where my towels would go was broken, no one came back to replace my trash in the bathroom. The balcony door was a little hard to open in my room. They give you a lock to lock up your personal items but honestly I couldn’t open up mines. But every other room seemed pretty OK that I had friends in. The staffs are wonderful, and very friendly. And helpful. I will definitely go again, but it seems that I am allergic to some thing in Mexico so maybe not for me until I find out. But as for you definitely go and have fun. I still did well for my last couple of days.

The Grand Oasis, an all inclusive resort with 5 buildings located in the heart of the Cancun hotel zone with beautiful stretch of white sand beach and the most beautiful blue waters! We have been coming here for 9 years and we love it! The good and the bad is that the property is sooo large.... but you really can't complain. Simply beautiful!!

If I could, I would give this place 2 ½ stars. It's not as bad as many of the reviews make it out to be, but there is simply NO WAY it ever deserves a five-star review. You do have to wait in long lines sometimes to eat, and sometimes at the buffet places the food you had craved (like sea bass and shrimp in Tatish) is long gone by the time you can get a tray in your hands. There is fairly nice entertainment, though, when it isn't raining, and my main problem with the room itself was that there were these tiny biting ants (I've never seen anyone else make mention of this in their reviews, so I don't know what's up about that). The person who service our room was very nice and helpful. The people at the front desk checkin aren't so great. I personally will not come back here ever again. I would rather not feel beholden to this all you can eat thing, because you end up being kind of a prisoner to that, when you're better off paying a somewhat cheaper price and finding your own places to eat. Beware of some other things: if you like good coffee, you will not get it here; it is horrible. And if they make you any assurances, get them in writing. They promised us we could check in early, and that we could check out late. All absolute lies. The more I write, the more I realize this is a one-star estabilishment :(

My wife and I have stayed here for years and it has always been great. Much to our surprise, when we returned this year, they are now charging extra for things that were once included. While the resort is still nice, the extra charges are not.

The Grand Oasis Cancun was a beautiful place where you can imagine how you can feel the moment and enjoyment together with your family and friends even couples and solo travelers. As myself, I want to share my experience of how the Grand Oasis Cancun is good for all. A lot of people say different opinions but for me don't ruin your vacation enjoy the ride and have fun . And as far as I know Grand Oasis the goal is to try to improve as much as possible the service. Make sure you download the apps for Grand Oasis it tells you what is the upcoming event and promotions, especially the availability of your touring guide. My self I went to Mexico because I want to see the Reef the second biggest reef in the world. The beach has crystal clear water. Believe me, you can enjoy the whole day. If I tell you the whole event it might you less excited. The only advice is to make sure don't ruin your vacation I'm telling you the place was amazing a lot of healthy food, drinks, and fun and enjoyable things to do. Hope it helps! Thanks Orly - enjoy and have fun

This was our first time in Cancun. We traveled as a big family for vacation. One thing is for sure. We won’t be coming back. The drinks were watered down, the sodas they used for the drinks were always flat. Everything takes a long walk to do anything- from dinner to activities. 90% of the staff seemed bothered that we requested anything. There were only a couple of that were nice to talk to. And I’m glad because had it not been for them we wouldn’t have known the best place to visit and get good food out of the resort. The food is disgusting 🤢- I had kids with diarrhea a couple nights after having dinner. My son lost his glasses when we tried checking lost and found they made us file a police report 🤦🏻‍♀️. The milk we got for our baby nephew spoiled even after it was in the fridge. Our lamps didn’t work- they didn’t clean our room when we requested it- our fridge was not re-stocked. Overall the staff within our building at the door were on their phones and didn’t acknowledge anyone walking by to even say hello or greet people. I will definitely do better research on our next trip and this hotel should be rated at 2.0 if that. Will not be coming back EVER !!!!

This is a great hotel with a spanning swimming pool that is really like four swimming pools together. The only inclusive portion is actually very good, the attention by waiter staff very high, at least with my experience with Silvia and Roberto at the particular restaurant I had breakfast. The Mexican food restaurant had a bit of wait but worth it. My particular room was facing the ocean and it had a deck with small pool and 2 lounge chairs. I did however noticed some decay on parts of the building on the outside. Would I stay here again YES! Great deal, they even had an ice cream parlor. Check in and out is a little disorganized, but still manageable. Staff is very helpful.

The resort boasts an excellent location and a vibrant beach club, making it an appealing destination. While the property is expansive, there's room for improvement, especially in updating the rooms. The buffet offers decent food, but the steakhouse stands out as one of the best dining options. It's worth noting that the all-inclusive concept doesn't cover premium rooms, food, and drinks, requiring additional payment. The standout feature, however, is the exceptional staff, exemplified by Suremi, who provided outstanding service at the Cocoa Beach club and the International buffet. On a cautionary note, be mindful of the "vacation plan" they offer, as declining it is advisable unless you're open to the idea as it took longer than initially communicated during the "VIP breakfast" (breakfast is better at the buffet), impacting your vacation time. We've got a coupon as compensation, but it isn't worth the time we spent. It is a family place, so it is okay. But again, staff, location, and beautiful beaches are amazing, and we spent, at the end, a great time.

EW!!! AVOID this resort. Gross ever. We had a cancellation flight and was taken to this hotel for the night. Never seen a hotel this bad. Our room had to AC, outdated, old and bedding has no blanket only sheets. Towels are thin as it can be like it's about to fall apart. Ask for help and was told maintenance would be down in 10-15 minutes, that never happened. Our friends room has cockroach all over her room. If you weren't Hispanic or Spanish speaking, you're not getting any service!! Hispanic people has no respect talking about how we're there and think we don't speak Spanish to understand them talking smack. Not welcome here if you're not HISPANIC!!!

This resort is massive, be prepared to walk. The staff was as accommodating as can be, considering we were there over Christmas. The food was great, especially the Italian restaurant. The rooms were out dated but clean, the mini fridge was not stocked well, however 7/11 was across the street opened 24/7. The grounds were maintained well and lit up beautifully in the evenings. The beach was the best part, however make sure to grab a lawn chair early in the morning as they are limited and support local business and check out Don Tacos and Burritos across the street best authentic food I had in a while.

I stayed at this resort over Christmas 2022. Overall my stay was decent, It was very busy at that time of the year. Service was good, however it was a struggle getting beach towels as it was hard for them to keep up. Make sure to grab a lawn chair early in the morning as it is limited. The beach was beautiful, the ocean was warm and clean and the waves were big. The food was great, there was plenty of delicious food at the buffet and by the pool, the à la carte were the best restaurants with 5 course meals. The entertainment was directed more towards adults than families. Overall, my visit was great though some things could be worked on.

Excellent hotel with many amazing facilities! Large room and the ocean is so beautiful you can see that glazing water every day. Service was excellent top notch! We get clean towels , tissues, bed liners and sheets they even mop the floor! Amazing ! My wife and I will definitely return! The restaurants are amazing!! All of them! Large pools and so many water activities! My wife almost didn’t want to come home. 😅 I highly recommend this hotel from my personal experience. It matches to its 5 star rating fair and squarely.
