I recently booked my honeymoon stay at the Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva Cancun. My wife and I were guest of your hotel from 07 March 2022 until 14 March 2022. My wife and I are regulars to Cancun although we generally stay at another adults only resort. This being our Honeymoon, I wanted to make sure our stay was extra special and after reading all of the positive reviews about this adults only resort I booked our stay. Upon arrival I was blown away by the beauty of the grounds, but just as quicky overwhelmed with the surprise that the entire resort was not adults only and was flooded with small children. We were quickly checked in and shown to our room in the adults only section of the resort and were amazed by the beauty of our room and the attached edgeless pool that looked out onto the beach and ocean. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. The next day we went to the adults only pool which while beautiful, was too hot to swim in. We were also informed that the only food we could get at the pool were nachos or quesadillas but if we wanted something else, we were free to go to one of the other pools where we could get other food items. That evening my wife and I dinned at La Bastille, and by morning both of us had become violently ill. This was not a case of food poisoning, or colitis as the hotels Dr. had suggested. We had been exposed to some form of parasite and after my wife spoke with several other couples who had also dined at the restaurant that evening, we learned that they had become violently ill as well. When we spoke with the food and beverage manager, Mr. Noriega. He informed us that he would look into it. He never informed us of what he was able to find out or how he planned to deal with the fact that I spent my entire honeymoon being violently ill. When we contacted the hotel regarding our illness, they offered to send the hotel physician who gave me a shot of Zofran for nausea and Imodium for my other issues but stated that he felt I was dealing with Colitis. I have never had any stomach issues much less colitis. My wife who is a nurse informed the Dr. that this was not colitis but some form of parasite as she has lived all over the world and been exposed to this type of thing before. We contacted my physician in Chicago who told me what antibiotics and other medications I would need from the pharmacy based on my symptoms. My wife and I are not the type of people to complain about trivial things, but It seemed that the service at this hotel had fallen flat and was inconsistent. From the moment we checked in we were greeted by our butler who scheduled dinner reservations at the Moongate for Wednesday at 5. When my wife called to confirm on Wednesday morning, they said they were unaware of any reservation and that they were booked solid until Friday. When we questioned the butler and the manager they apologized and simply said he had forgotten. While the rooms are beautiful, they were very noisy, and you could hear people in the room next to and above you at all hours of the day and night as well as people wandering the halls. When we first complained about the noise, service and issues regarding the hot pool water or limited food options at the adult pool, we were given 10,000 Hyatt points. Yet when we informed the hotel that we along with two couples had gotten ill at the same restaurant on the same evening and provided their names, we were simply told that the hotel would look into it. In short I was forced to stay in my room or within quick distance of a restroom from Wednesday until Sunday, somehow this is not what I or my wife had imagined for our honeymoon and I felt as if the hotel could have cared less.

My experience with the resort was amazing. The facilities were wonderful. The staff is very attentive. The butler staff was exceptional. The staff will surprise you with their creativity and hospitality. There was really no reason to leave the property everything that you need is at your fingertips. The restaurants, food, and shows were amazing. One of my favorite dishes was the ceviche rosarito. I had it every day during my stay. When I return, it will be for a stay in the Turquoize. The views and accommodations are top notch. The attached pic was the view from my balcony at night.

This is a beautiful luxury hotel but the Turquoize buildings needs better trained staff at the front desk immediately. Back in January, Ramon was responsible for our check in and he was unbelievably rude. He just stared into his screen and didn't even greet us once. When we asked him a polite question about a different room, he suddenly snapped at us and said "you should have booked that room". Ramon needs to learn how to treat guests with respect. Afterall, his job would be meaningless if guests aren't satisfied. On a positive note, Gina was super friendly and helpful!

This hotel was amazing. The Turquoise exclusive pool was fantastic. Food was generally good. The Mexican restaurant was a top notch. Loved that place. Drinks were very mild (not much of alcohol) for the common area mostly but I understand why it is like that. It was delicious anyway. However, the butler service was not that great. We had two; one was a male and the other was a female. Even though we had two of them non of them were greatly helpful. I expected they were going to ask us what we need like where to print out the covid test result, the place to have the romantic dinner, how / when to check out and taxi reservation time and the fare etc. It was kinda weird for me that I have to reach out to them first. I mean the things that I mentioned above are very basic and expectable for general customers. If this facility has a butler service and promotes with that then at least they should show some real customer service experience. It was not more than just going to the concierge and ask them. Even for the personnel that I talked with through emails ahead, she didn't make an appointment for the hibachi restaurant so we were 30 mins behind from the original time that I booked. I think this hotel is generally amazing with the spectacular views, facilities and restaurants, but the customer service is a little behind from what they are charging for.

We got sky Ocean Front Master King swim up pool in turquoise tower. I’m writing this review as we’re still in this facility. The staff are nice and friendly. The location is the best, the beach is beautiful and clean. Pools are fantastic. Water temperature and hotel cleanness is perfect. Unfortunately, the pools close at 8pm! I understand that they need to close to clean up the pools. But, they can run one of them for a longer time. I believe to cut the cost on the staff, they closed all pools! Which is ridiculous considering the price of the stay! They advertise you have a personal butler with your room to provide you with whatever you need but our butler was in charge of around 20 rooms! Thats ok but you should not advertise it as a “personal” butler. Because every time we asked for something we had to wait for a long time. We also lost the first night swim waiting for our languages to get to the room, when the pools, even the private pool in front of our room closed at 8pm. There are few restaurants in the facility. Some of them have very mediocre food while some have delicious dishes. There are three issues though: 1- some of the restaurants working only for dinner and some open late for lunch. 2- a resort in Mexico is expected to have fruit dishes and vegetable trays every where. But, I could barely find any fresh fruit. It was a pity knowing fruits in Mexico taste amazing. 3- after midnight there is no food option. I liked the luxury of my room. However, the Jacuzzi in my room was dirty. I asked them to clean it. They did not! There was hair in the tub and drains from the previous occupant!! It is not acceptable specifically when you pay $1000 per night. We asked for a late checkout. They asked for $50 charge for every hour. That was unheard of for me. I’m a Hyatt member, and have not seen such an attitude in any other Hyatt locations or any other resorts in any of the countries I have been to! Everywhere you go, there is a person approaching you to upsell a bottle of alcohol or one of the special dinner promotions. When I’m here for relaxation, I don’t want to be treated as an idiot that does not know the prices. I know it is a resort and everything is more expensive. But charging double for a bottle of tequila!? What’s even worse is that when you decline they switch to another bottle… When you pay the prices Hyatt is demanding, you have a higher expectation for the accommodations. They had bottles of juice sitting out in one bar, I went to the restroom to wash my hands and came back and they were gone when i asked for one he said sorry we are closed? I said they were just here cant you give me one from the back and he acted like the juices were locked away in a time safe till they reopened in a couple of hours. At the end of the day I'm happy we came here to experience it. We are staying at multiple resorts this trip as we are scouting locations for our wedding. After what i have seen and how we were treated I can assure you this will NOT be the place! The one highlight of my trip was the staff at Laurenzos!! Server Manuel, Host Maykelind, chef Alejandro, and Supervisor Angie made are time there excellent!!

One of my favorite hotels in Cancun. The Hyatt Ziva is a family friendly hotel so if seeking a more adults only experience I suggest the Turquoize tower which is where we stayed. The rooms are well designed, modern, clean, with some high tech amenities and direct access to the spa area. The location of this Cancun hotel can't be beat. There is a ton of beachfront area and ocean access with a more tranquil side and then a side that offers watersport activities. Plenty of restaurant and bar options, a solid gym, beautiful spa area and friendly staff. Thank God for the nice gym because they have an ice cream parlor here that I had to stop in every time I passed by.. which was often. Personally, I like going a but farther south toward Tulum where it's less crowded but if you are staying in cancun, the Hyatt Ziva, and more specifically the Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva, is a great choice.

Resort itself is decent. Most the staff are friendly. Security seem to be over zealous about everything. Went during high season so it was 12-1300 cnd a night kind of felt like uneasy at times being followed around at night by security. Food was okay nothing really to write home about.

Good view but not all inclusive hotel. Technically,it is few inclusive. Almost everything requires additional cost. Steakhouse restaurant staff kept pushing me to order additional cost menu. It was quite embarassing. The reason why i chose cancun, It was because of all inclusive But i picked up wrong accomodation. Never pick this again.

Turquoize suffers from one huge problem, the walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. Everything. And I mean all of your neighbors. Upstairs. Downstairs. Next to you. Across the hall. You will not be able to sleep.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was fantastic, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The service surpassed all expectations, with a staff that went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food and beverage options were exquisite, and the overall property deserves a solid 5-star rating. Highly recommended for a luxurious and enjoyable getaway.

We stayed Nov. 5-9, weather was good and the resort was busy but not crowded. The ONLY reason we can't give this amazing place 5 stars is because of the awful 1st impression-- when you arrive and are unknowingly turned over to one of their timeshare representatives. We had to say no 3 times and state we just want to check into our room before finally being "released." Later in our stay we were confronted on the way to the beach and to lunch by 2 more of their solicitors. Ugh. Only one other negative-- "special" DJ music by the pool was too loud one afternoon---could here it clearly from inside our room on the 8th floor, with the lanai doors closed! Not sure why Hyatt management thinks people vacationing in MEXICO want to hear old American rock music??? But despite these 2 mismanagements by Hyatt-Playa administration, EVERYTHING else was absolutely an incredible luxury experience!!! Our butler Marissa was outstanding, so professional but friendly, funny and kind. Her associate David was also good but we had less requests on the days when he was our butler. The food at each restaurant was delicious, even room service, and drinks were just right. There are Mexican, American, Asian, Italian and French restaurant options. Outstanding service at Tres Cervezas where Alejandra is the manager. Berlain and Alehandro at Moongate did an amazing hibachi presentation and the food was excellent. Jesus at the Tradewinds steakhouse and Javier at Chevy's hamburger joint were very good waiters. Our room was LARGE-- just the bathroom was as large as the entire guest room at some Hilton "luxury" resorts we've stayed at before. The rain shower head is sooo relaxing. Plus the room was very clean, nicely appointed, and omg--the ocean and beach views!! Relaxing in the hot tub on the lanai with endless hot water, and body-surfing the waves in the clear ocean water every day were some of our most enjoyable memories. The expansive beach area is much nicer than the narrow strip of sand at the JW Marriott where we stayed last year. The pools and grounds are impeccably kept, waiters always available for drinks, even a sugglass cleaning attendant if the sea mist clouds your view, and security is always visible but never intrusive-- no beach vendors!! Private airport transportation was easy, seemless through Hyatt-Discova. We will defintely be back and stay longer. :-) :-)

Had a great time at the Turquoise tower! The rooms are nice, the butler service was a classy touch and we had a great view overlooking the pool and beach. The jet tub on the balcony seemed a bit much but we did end up using it soo. Yeah. We liked that too! We were there for a wedding, which was well done. And then my wife's birthday they decorated both our cabana and the room. Really had a great time here!

The Tuquoize is a special part of the Hyatt Zika with its own service area. They are well staffed and every one, as all Zika staff, is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. It has its own roof bar and pool that is only for its guests.

The staff was incredible. The service provided by everyone was great. Thinking of going back multiple times a year. The experience was the best one I've had in Cancun so far. I've visited 4 other resorts and this one by far was the best. Recommend eating at Habaneros for lunch. They're ceviche was great. Trade winds steakhouse had an amazing ribeye. We also bought a romantic dinner package which contained eating a 3 course meal in a Cabana by the ocean. That was okay, i probably wouldn't do that again, just wasn't what we hyped it up to be. Overall, 5/5, really recommend.

This was by far the best experience of my life. The resort had breathtaking views, the service we received was beyond our expectations, there was so much food to choose from and was expectational. Our concierges, Anna and Gustavo, were absolutely amazing and you could tell they truly loved their jobs. They both went above and beyond for us and truly made the experience even more enjoyable. The security and bell hops were incredible as well. Every time we walked off resort they would check to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything upon return. When we would retun they would have us give our room number ans last name as a security check and also checked a vehicle if we were getting out incase we left anything behind. This resort is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.

We stayed in the turquoise tower and just wow, the service and rooms were amazing. They even have a personal Butler available almost 24/7 to answer and questions and provide service. The food was average for the most part but had a lot of variety. Everything was basically and upsell even though the resort was "all inclusive". I highly recommend the cabana experience if you are staying at Turquoise, you have your own private pool away from all the kids.

I can honestly say that Hyatt Ziva Turquoize was exceptional. The food the service and especially our butler Raul. Raul saw every little detail for us and especially arranged a special dinner to celebrate our son's birthday. Our stay was exceptional, to begin with, but Raul took it to another level. We will surely be returning to Hyatt Ziva Turquoize.

Let me start by saying that this was the most beautiful resort I have ever had the opportunity to visit. Absolutely 5 star hospitality, amenities and services. You could stay here for weeks at a time and never get bored or run out of things to entertain yourself. We stayed here for a extended weekend to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary and it was the best vacation of my life.... so far.

I loved this hotel!! I've been a loyal guest for years since they open. The only thing is that service went down considerably. I was very disappointed with the treatment I got from several places. I just came back from my vacation there and I really missed the hyatt ziva from 2 years ago to be honest. Hotel 5 stars. Service: please get better at it, you can do it!

My husband and I went here for a short 5 day/4 night trip to celebrate our anniversary. I specifically chose this resort because of the location and I am so glad that I did! The views from almost every part of the resort are incredible. The service was top notch and everyone is not only nice but extremely accommodating. Any request that you have, they will work to fulfill it. The only thing that we didn't like was the fact that the pools closed at 8, the pool bar & the adult only bar both closed at 6. I'm not sure if this is different during peak season. We stayed in an Oceanfront King in the Turquoize building which provided us with a personal concierge majority of the day, each floor had it's own designed concierge that was with us throughout our entire trip. They checked in on us multiple times throughout the day to ensure that we were doing good and to see if we needed anything. There are 7 restaurants, including a buffet and a microbrewery that also serves food, a coffee shop, a pastry shop and 5 bars including a swim up bar and an adult only bar specifically for Turquoize guests. They also provide several private dining options at an extra cost. The food at most of the restaurants were very good and we were pleasantly surprised by the beer at the microbrewery. There's several different cuisines including Italian, Asian Fusion and French to name a few. There are several add on services, such as cabanas, spa services, etc. We initially booked a club oceanfront room thinking that there may not be alot of families there at the time that we went because of school but there were, so we chose to upgrade to the Turquoize option just to have the ability to be in an adult only building and have the adult only pool/bar access. Other than that, we didn't really feel like there were enough other things offered for paying such a significant amount more. In my opinion, I think Turquoize guests should get atleast one day during their trip that the cabanas are included. The club building also has the whole lounge area with the food, drinks as well as the bar area all available only to them which I think should also be open to the Turquoize guests or have an area like that available for them. Aside from some of these things we had an amazing time and would definitely return.

Everything was great except the food borne illness I ended up with and the partly broken toilet flush button. A total bummer after so much great food, booze and service. The facility was amazing but the beach was limited to a small area. I wanted to skin dive in the open water but was not allowed. Everything else was the best!

Having stayed at many Hyatt resorts, we were expecting this one to be of the same high standards we experienced at the others. Unfortunately it is not. The "Adults Only" side has basically one amenity not overrun by young children - the rooftop pool that has a bar that closes at 630pm nightly. They serve food there from 1pm to 3 pm daily (with one choice of food daily. The "Butler Service" can be utilized - but we found it was mostly a gimmick to sell you everything else (massage, excursions etc that are all extra). There are tons (and I mean tons) of children at this resort and most shows etc are geared towards that crowd. We also felt alot of pressure to tip constantly. The food we had was mostly good, but the total vibe of this congested resort was noisy, overrun with children, tip centered, and weirdly maybe 20% of the staff greeted you warmly with the hand on heart and "Hola" that we experienced from most all staff at other Hyatt resorts. One very positive was Irma the bartender at the adult only pool - wonderful lady who loves what she does. The price was exorbitant and they called daily to sell something and accousted you at the pool, in the hallways anywhere to upsell. The transport company Discova was excellent - not associated with Hyatt - don't think. Cancun as a whole has been there over 50 years, yet you still cant drink the water - pretty ridiculous. You also dont get any Hyatt points if u book with a travel agent - really? Interestingly they sell Hooka for $55 US - and people smoke it on decks at adult pool and nightclubs outside, and its ALOT of tobacco smoke - but they had Security Guards roaming these same areas stopping cigarette smokers from smoking in same areas (and they're were quite a few smokers from Asia and Europe). Again upselling - not a fun experience. Did an excursion to Isle of Mujeres (highly recommended by hotel staff) - take the public ferry - much cheaper. However the island is unfortunately a chaotic hovel lined with shops and street hawkers - the North Beach is a crowded place and again not very nice -

This resort is truly exceptional and ideal for those who appreciate expansive properties with ample space for leisurely strolls. The quality of service, food, and accommodations is unparalleled. One of the standout features is the pristine beaches, which are not only spotlessly clean but also incredibly safe for children, free from large waves or seaweed. The water's crystal-clear quality adds to the overall beauty of the setting. My experience here has been overwhelmingly positive, and I am extremely satisfied with my decision to choose this resort for my stay. Special thanks to Rubelsi and Ana who did an amazing job taking care of my every need. All employees were exceptional, also special thanks to Vianey who gave me the best massage I've had at a resort. If you go to the spa request her.

Words do not explain how amazing this place was. From the beginning to the end, we never had any complaints. We stayed at the Turquoise area where it was adults only. That section had access to the infinity pool where you get access to the top shelf drinks. Food was amazing and service was spectacular. We definitely miss the place and will be coming back soon.

One massive non stop party. The staff is super friendly and ready to help. The location is stunning. The for purchase amenities are worth every penny. For kosher consumers, the Ember is a four minute walk away next door to the Chabad. This is where we will come back if we visit again.

THE BEST!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️ It was the one of best resort I ever experienced! Staffs are super friendly and helpful all the time! Marrissa and David (butler service team) helped me with EVERYTHING🎉!! Resort itself is huge and had really great food and drinks. They have bar and restaurant almost every corner. And it quite a fun experience to explore. I’m highly recommend the Mexican restaurant ‘Habanero’. I even got the soju cocktails (not on the menu, so do not ask haha) by amazing bartender from rooftop pool. Room is super clean and has Jacuzzi in the balcony. Such a lovely experience to take a bath with stunning ocean view. And they are cleaning several times a day. Only issue I had is Wifi but it is double. One tip is if you want to try wine or mezcal tasting, you should book it in advance. Can’t wait to go back! 😎🤩

Our recent 3 night stay at the Hyatt Ziva was wonderful, we had such an amazing time. The hotel sits in a perfect spot, tucked against the beach on both sides. The hotel grounds connect nicely to the beach areas. We stayed in the Turquoize tower and Gina from check-in was in touch throughout our stay answering questions and helping us make the most of our stay, which it did. The beach has comfortable chairs and cabanas to rent, which we did try and received A+ service from both Santiago and Leticia. The sand is soft, great area to go out swimming, had such a nice relaxing time. The service throughout the entire hotel was truly amazing and noteworthy. We participated in a tequila tasting with the Jonathan, the Tequila expert and manager of liquor for the hotel. Super fun and informative. Find him if you can onsite and you'll appreciate a chance to chat with him. Nice variety of foods at the many different restaurants, including french restaurant which was a favorite. Cesar and the chefs there went out of their way to randomly surprise us at dinner with a unique chocolate desert that came out in special presentation.... impressive. Buffet style breakfast had it all, lot's of fresh fruit and more hearty options, similar to theme staff there each morning were top notch, including Enrique. Great job by Hyatt Ziva staff, looking forward to returning in the future!

It's a great resort if you want all inclusive kid friendly fun stay. They have tons of activities happening all day from fitness to arts to cooking to mixology. They also have games like bingo and beach volleyball etc. The property is huge. They have many different cuisines and food options. The food quality was average and same with service at restaurants. Most too shelf liquor and things like coconut water cost extra so beware. If you are celebrating something definitely inform them at check in so they can help decorate the room and send up complimentory cake and champagne to make it a celebration. Kids would have a great time here and they also have a special teenage lounge with videogames. For adults they have a separate pool but most other things are common with family wing so don't expect lot of adults only fun.
