We’ve come to this place now annually for five years. It’s the perfect resort for us. Our most recent visit was the best service we have ever received. It’s not a party resort for annoying Americans.. but rather a quiet resort with a lot of local guests. Breakfast buffet is delicious, the beach is amazing, and the pool is refreshing. It’s a great value stay as it’s comfortable luxury. Not excessive and not over priced. If you like a clean unassuming resort where you feel like you have the place to yourself even with others around.. look no further.

Loved this hotel! I was there for work and stayed a couple extra days to dive. Josue in the lounge was AWESOME! He was so easy to talk to, made great cocktails and clearly cares about the guest experience. Also Miguel in the club lounge in the morning was a godsend! He was always happy to see us and make sure we started our day off right! Wendy in the spa gave me one of the best massages of my life. I can't wait to come back soon!

We stayed here for a girls trip and we really enjoyed this resort. The restaurants on the resort were great and priced well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The pool was beautiful. The beach was phenomenal. I walked by a few neighboring beaches and the Presidente's Beach was the superb location. It was clean of debris and seaweed. All around great resort and great stay. All the staff was prompt, friendly and helpful.

By far the best Hotel I've ever stayed at in Cancun. The hotel was clean and modern. The bed's are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also amazing. The private beach is well maintained as well (no seaweed). Definitely my go to hotel whenever I'm in Cancun.

Great stay! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The pool is amazing and my sons made friends so it was nice for them to have kids to play with while on vacation. Room service was quick and yummy. Pool bar service was also quick and yummy. The beach is also lovely with beautiful white sand and lots of swings for cool photos. My only issues came during breakfast time. The servers were very slow and down right rude. Getting coffee or anything to drink was impossible. The cashier ended up helping us each time. Other than that, our stay was excellent and we would consider returning but bring our own drinks for breakfast. Lol.

BThe hotel is very nice and the beach is really calm. They kept the baggage for us because we arrived early and enjoyed the amenities without problem. Everybody was very nice. The spa, another highlight, specially Margarita and Daniel, were great. Daniel gave us a tour of the spa prior to booking a massage and they were very friendly. I highly recommend to try the spa and the massages. My girlfriend and I left very relaxed and you can use the jacuzzi all day long if you want. Very good choice for our vacations!

We could find nothing to criticize here even if I wanted to. The hotel is wonderful. The lobby is beautiful, the room we got was also beautiful, very well arranged with qualitative and efficient equipments, and the most important : an impeccable hygiene. The pools, the layout of the beach, the quality of the food at the breakfast (situated on the beach, next to the main pool, which is very appreciable), everything is perfect. One thing also perfect is the location : far enough from the noise of the bars and clubs and the loud and drunk people so that it is very calm and peaceful day and night, but close enough to be convenient whenever you need to go by foot in the center. When we needed employees for any reason they were competent and efficient. We would 100% recommend this hotel.

5 start goes to Staff & IHG club customer service. Hotel gets 4 stars In a nutshell, Rooms at ground floor are NOT great. Rooms at 3rd floor and up especially with ocean view are great! Breakfast buffet was average, not having avocado/guacamole was shocking :-)) Beach is clean, very well maintained and covered with gorgeous white sand! Pools are great as well. not huge and fancy but certainly clean & well maintained. Catch of the day fish at both beach front restaurants was superb. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This beautiful place has everything you could ever need for a relaxing get away. Soft sandy beach, multiple bars, restaurant with delicious food, pool, gift shop, spa (highly recommended the relaxation message), large workout room, amazing rooms with air conditioning that works, helpful and polite staff, beautiful and spacious lobby, tours to cultural and historic locations, close proximity to local food, shopping and, entertainment. Oh and did I mention the incredible bar?? Seriously, you will NOT be disappointed. Safe with 24 security. Across the street is a pharmacy and a gas station/subway. I highly recommend this hotel and would encourage everyone to stay and relax here!

Rooms are dated and fairly simple layout, but are comfortable and are great to rest which is the point of them. Housekeeping comes in a couple of times per day which is great. Valet parking crew is very helpful as well as people at concierge. Can't go wrong with the buffet breakfast by the beach. Gustavo and Don Emilio are great during service. Willing to answer all of our questions about the area and where to go and avoid tourist traps. Don Anatolio was working the grounds when we were at the pool at night and was very eager to help and take time to give us insights about the area. Overall great experience.

This was an extraordinary experience for my family, it was the first time we stayed somewhere that we can’t wait to go back to. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience special for myself, my wife, and our toddler. The grounds and accommodations were spotless, and maintained a high level of constant cleanliness. At the front desk during check-in, Coral was a delight. She made us feel welcome and assisted us with making sure our toddler had an excellent and memorable stay. I looked forward to seeing Miguel each morning for coffee (which he made specifically without asking) and breakfast in the club. The food was fresh and delicious the entire stay, and the service staff was extremely accommodating the entire time. We can’t wait to come back. Additionally, at the beginning and end of our stay, Freddi at the front door was extremely helpful, made our toddler excited, safe, and happy, which is more than we can ask for.

Hate to leave 😥 When we first arrived check in was quick they escorted us to our room immediately showed us everything we needed to know. Staff was very friendly. Place was clean! Room service was GREAT!! ROOMS VERY CLEAN AND the room VIEW was PICTURE PERFECT !! Food and prices were reasonable. We will definitely be coming back!

This hotel is breathtaking. It may be one of Cancun’s best kept secrets. It’s further or maybe the farthest hotel on the hotel zone, but it’s a hidden gem. I would stay here very time I go. The sand and outdoor space is absolutely stunning. They have many places to enjoy including restaurants and a spa. The place is beautifully kept. It’s extremely clean, the views are amazing. The lobby will make you gasp. The staff of friendly and helpful. They made sure my family knew it was paradise. Loved everything about this hotel. So much we stayed again the next time it was available. And will stay again.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The service was professional and friendly in all aspects. The location has a very nice stretch of beach and the layout took advantage of the great location. Everything was nicely positioned such as the palapas, lounge chairs, pool, etc. and there was a nice grassy area too. Great "site lines" throughout. There were 3 restaurants although we only ate at 2 of them; we liked both of them. We loved the complementary buffet breakfast; the quality and variety of the food was very good and even included some gluten free options which I appreciated. They have a gym on site which I used twice; it was well appointed and very clean. The hotel drivers were very pleasant(we used them for to and from the airport). The lobby was beautiful and our room was spacious and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful hotel! The staff is super friendly and helpful (but not in like a push you to buy stuff way). Right on the beach with plenty of chairs or there the very nice pool next to the bar. Food was excellent we had breakfast which I would recommend and one night we had diner which was decent for the price.. a lot cheep food half a mile walk from hotel.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It is gorgeous with immaculate grounds. The staff was very attentive and the amenities were nice. It wasn’t a mega resort which I like. When I travel, especially for vacation, I always want to stay somewhere that offers as close or better than my comforts at home. The receptionist Coral Ramirez suggested upgrading to a suite. She let us know about the Club benefits which included breakfast. She even sent chocolate strawberries for my husband’s birthday. So the upgrade was worth it! The room was comfortable and the view with balcony was wonderful. It was mostly of the lagoon but you could see the ocean too. Since we were on the top floor, it got a little warm at times. But we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room during the day. I travel with a small table fan which helped a lot since I prefer it colder at night. The hotel was a short bus ride from the center of all the tourist action. And our excursions picked us up in front of the property. We loved everything about our stay at the Intercontinental Presidente Cancún Resort. We hope to see you guys again!

Amazing hotel with good hospitality. Very friendly staff and they guide you very nicely. I met Javier who is pool manager he is really nice person and helped us a lot to understand the city and answered all other questions we had. He ensured our safety and very polite and friendly. Do see him if you need knowledge for local.

Awesome hotel and service. So good we booked again and heading back in April. Our server at the beach (Alberto) was awesome. Server at the club lounge at night (Mariano) was awesome. Our server at breakfast and the chef making eggs/omelettes were amazing. Great beach, great room, great service and great people. Spa was superb with super friendly staff.

The hotel is great for families with big and small kids also I would say it’s a good place for friends. The staff is very friendly specially at the Caribeño restaurant. The buffet for breakfast has a lot of options for everyone but nothing too experimental. The beach is nice and there are a lot of seating and lounge areas near. Overall I think it’s a great hotel for most. Only thing I didn’t love is the bathroom is a little small and lack a bit of privacy from the beds.

We were club members and enjoyed utilizing the breakfast in the morning and cocktails and appetizers in the evening. I must say Josue gave us amazing service and was so personable. Made a great margarita! We ate one night at le cap and it was delicious. The service superb. The salmon and risotto was drliscios as was the crepe. Service exceptional. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. We walked to a huge flea market and really enjoyed our stay here swimming and lazing on the beach and had a great time!

My mom and I did a mother-daughter trip to Cancun and we stayed at this resort. When we arrived, the check in with seamless in our room was exactly as what it described from the website I have a few issues with this resort. The first is the drinks were decent to say the least. The food was also decent with not much flavor. The only place that we ended up liking was the beach restaurant that served hotdogs and calamari. After the second day, we decided to eat outside the resort, except for breakfast, which was included my issue was our safe. On the third day, my mom and I decided to eat outside the resort and came back to our room, and our safe was open. The safe included our passport, drivers license and money. Fortunately, nothing was taken, but we found it extremely odd that our safe was open. I immediately went to management and reported the incident. The supervisor on site along with security, came to my room and found no issues, but they were supposed to follow up with me. I had to track them down to receive a follow up, which I didn’t into the next day. Thursday evening my mom and I went on an excursion and returned back, and our safe again was open and nothing was taken. So there was an issue with the safe. This was again reported immediately to the staff. We were in room 612 so I will make sure that the staff changed out that safe. Apart from these three things the spa was fantastic, the room was beautiful overlooking the ocean, and the buffet was great. Also, there is a beautiful Mexican To purchase souvenirs I would definitely recommend checking out that store.

Depending upon what floor and which side you are rooms privacy and disturbances varies. Service is 5 star, Location is 5 star easy to catch buses and near by all night life center. Front desk and house cleaning team do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Beach is well maintained, you won’t regret if you are looking for family friendly, kid friendly, resort to spend quality vacations.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights/4 days and absolutely loved this hotel. The location couldn't be better - it's a very short walk to the boisterous nightlife area of the Hotel Zone. Service at the hotel was great. I tried the two restaurants by the beach and liked them both. The beach was stunning. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
