We've
been
through
a
hellish
experience
in
the
brief
afternoon
we
spent
there.
Even
though
we
clearly
stated
our
arrival
time
they
marked
us
as
"no
show"
and
so
when
we
got
there
I
had
to
book
again,
and
pay
extra
cash
for
the
"spontaneous"
check-in.
Lady
in
the
reception
wouldn't
take
dollars
so
she
"did
us
the
favor"
of
allowing
us
to
pay
later
during
the
day,
once
exchange
places
are
open,
but
she
retained
our
passports
until
then
(not
sure
how
legal
that
is).
She
said
"if
you're
staying
more
than
a
day
let
me
give
you
guys
the
room
with
windows"
we
thought
that
was
great
and
proceeded
to
the
room.
The
view
was
a
bit
underwhelming
but
we
thought
nothing
of
it
really,
we're
from
Argentina
and
we're
used
to
bad
neighborghoods
but
then
we
realized
the
windows
wouldn't
close
(safety
was
broken)
and
we're
on
the
1st
floor
in
front
of
an
alley
with
emergency
stairs
connecting
our
window,
nothing
prevented
our
room
to
be
accessed
from
the
street.
That
was
bad
enough,
the
room
was
lousy
but
it
was
expected,
the
lady
kept
our
passports,
bad
signals
starting
piling
up.
As
soon
as
the
exchange
placees
were
open
we
changed
a
few
dollars,
and
proceeded
to
get
the
heck
away
from
there.
The
lady
at
the
reception
"forgot"
she
had
our
passports
and
I
had
to
point
where
she
put
them,
also
she
"forgot"
to
give
my
change
from
the
stay
when
I
payed.
I
had
to
reclaim
both
those
things
before
leaving
and
my
heart
was
at
my
throat
the
whole
time
picturing
how
I
lost
my
passport
on
the
first
day.
After
arguing
for
some
time
she
"remembered"m
where
she
put
those
and
gave
them
back,
along
with
my
change.
She
called
one
of
the
most
expensive
cabs
I've
ever
ridden
and
we
got
out
there.
Nightmarish
experience,
who
knows
what
would
have
happened
if
we
would
have
been
more
sleepy
from
the
flight.
(maybe
nothing,
but
allow
me
to
distrust,
I'm
from
a
big
city
and
I've
seen
how
things
work).
