We've been through a hellish experience in the brief afternoon we spent there. Even though we clearly stated our arrival time they marked us as "no show" and so when we got there I had to book again, and pay extra cash for the "spontaneous" check-in. Lady in the reception wouldn't take dollars so she "did us the favor" of allowing us to pay later during the day, once exchange places are open, but she retained our passports until then (not sure how legal that is). She said "if you're staying more than a day let me give you guys the room with windows" we thought that was great and proceeded to the room. The view was a bit underwhelming but we thought nothing of it really, we're from Argentina and we're used to bad neighborghoods but then we realized the windows wouldn't close (safety was broken) and we're on the 1st floor in front of an alley with emergency stairs connecting our window, nothing prevented our room to be accessed from the street. That was bad enough, the room was lousy but it was expected, the lady kept our passports, bad signals starting piling up. As soon as the exchange placees were open we changed a few dollars, and proceeded to get the heck away from there. The lady at the reception "forgot" she had our passports and I had to point where she put them, also she "forgot" to give my change from the stay when I payed. I had to reclaim both those things before leaving and my heart was at my throat the whole time picturing how I lost my passport on the first day. After arguing for some time she "remembered"m where she put those and gave them back, along with my change. She called one of the most expensive cabs I've ever ridden and we got out there. Nightmarish experience, who knows what would have happened if we would have been more sleepy from the flight. (maybe nothing, but allow me to distrust, I'm from a big city and I've seen how things work).

DEFINITELY DO NOT COME! The WORST hotel experience ever. The staff in the front desk is RUDE and ARROGANT. The room is strong smelly and we’d like to change to another one. But they refused with no explanation or apology.

I don't like to write bad review for a small business but it looks like they don't even care. There's no hot water in the shower or sink Mold smell out of A/C vent Sink doesn't flush down No towl No blanket Shower leaks water to bathroom and floods the bathroom area to a point that you can't even walk there.

This hotel was awesome. The only issue I encountered was the shower head was slightly broken and the shower door was slightly broken. I was still able to shower normally if that's all u care about. If this isn't a big deal for you then keep reading. I stayed for 15 days. And I could not complain about much. Walk in and the beds where nice and coffterable. They where nicely done. Everything was clean and nothing was a issue for me. The noice level was low. There was indian mfers that where making load noise so I shut them up. And yeah that's about it in the noice. The breakfast they sold was also awesome. It was good as well as cheap. Two in pools that's great. Room has A/C, water, beds, sheets towels and desk chair thing. This place is like the hidden gem. The reception is good and nice. They greet you and the cleaning services was awesome. Stay here if you're looking for a good cheap hotel. I myself would stay here again. ***My only recommendation to management is to inspect the rooms more thoroughly because the side vanity mirror was loose which isn't a big deal because I tighten it. The shower head is broken..it works but I would honestly change. THE SHOWER DOOR WAS ALSO BROKEN WHICH CAUSED THE WATER TO GET ON THE FLOOR.. THAT I WOULD DEFINITELY FIX "Thank you" "CACTUS"

This has been one of the worst hotel I've been staying at! Shower door was broken and water leaked into the bathroom and the room, Not enough towel, bad smell in the room and ac wasn't working! The front desk person was nice that's about it! I would not stay there. There are lot of better options in cancun with similar prices

Very poor customer desk service. We travelled from India and reached little early and they didn’t allow us to checkin. I can understand the checkin rules but expect some kindness for people who travelled from the other side of the world. My wife I was so tired of traveling 30hrs and the customer desk people were not ready to help. They are not ready to compromise for a minute on checkin time.

Positive: Good sized room and bathroom, huge and comfortable beds, white clean bed sheets, friendly staff. Negative: No attention to details (toilet not cleaned properly, not enough towels, no hair dryer). Had no hot water 2 out of 3 nights!!! Really noisy during night time as some guests came back late and drunk and the security/reception staff just ignored them which is wrong and unfair for the other guests.

Rooms were hot. The mini split a/c did not circulate air enough to cool the room down. There are no vending machines for water, and the room and beds are small. Stayed there for one night before heading to the airport.

Hotel from hell. Avoid. Worst i've ever been in. Tipe of building where sound travels very well and on third floor we could here everyone who speaks outside our room and in the hall + barking dog. Lives across the street, constantly barks and when he dos, feels like he is barking in the room. Shame can't add video with sound Elevator didn't worked for 2 days and no one helped carry bags. No alcohol allowed in premises and nothing about it on booking. Booked room with balcony and street view but got room with no balcony and 0 windows. No other rooms was available. No one speaks english.

The worst hotel that I haven’t been. I couldn’t sleep because there are night clubs close to the hotel and the sound is very loud, there is a dog barking 24 hrs and the receptionist is rude and the phone room didn’t work. I will not come back to this place ever.

Nice room but hotel has sound issues, neighbouring dog barks all night and it echos through the hotel. Some night clubs near by with noise too. Staff weren't very friendly. Disappointing overall.

Awful first impression. The reception made us wait 20 mins because it was not officially “checking in time”, after we explicitly said we’re in a hurry. They were not busy with anything else- just stood there talking. After the check-in time arrived, they started processing people who arrived after us, and *then* asked us to fill in the forms. Apparently they could not give us the forms right away- they just didn’t care.

Fairly basic room, but fine for the price. I had been sold a room that wasn't available and had to accept another one - it seems that this is a common occurrence. The staff are friendly enough and speak English. Check in is at 3pm, they will look after your bags until then.

I have stayed in hostels cleaner and fresher than this. Do not stay here, my room smells so fusty I can struggling to breathe in the dirty air. Do not be fooled by the good reviews - they are just from the locals. The customer service is terrible also, there are much nicer places to stay in Cancun.

Four star hotel? This is a getto! It should be advertised like this: if you want to have a getto experience, come to us. A building with rooms that look like a worn out student campus and a lots of noize of people speaking loud in other rooms and in the hallway amplified with a sports-hall-like echo, because of how this awful building is built. I have booked two nights here and payed for them at check in. Big mistake as after I couldn't stand anymore I decided to leave after a couple of hours and they refused to refund me anything. Well, sa I said, a full getto experience, including being robbed. Go here only if you're up for this kind of experience!

Tv remote doesn’t work, no wifi and the the shower sprays out at the base. At least the ac works. Staff also told us the rooms have complimentary bottles of water, but when we made it to the room, there was none. Too bad the hotel is so far from the beach

We told the staff on time that our flight was delayed and with the question if we could check-in the next day early in the morning. We didn’t get a reaction back and our reservation was marked as no-show. We arrived 7 AM in the morning, explained what was happened but we got rudely told that we only could check-in from 3PM. The hospitality from the staff members is really insufficient. The room was good but couldn’t enjoy the accommodation because of the experience explained above.

Stay in here for three weeks endured numerous inconveniences Such as intermittent, hot water, nonfunctioning toilet, unavailable hotel manager, Occasional inoperable elevator, Hotels, public toilets are mostly in operable, wi-Fi is only available on the first and second floors. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and closes at 1:30. No ice is available in the hotel. The air conditioning work well, and the beds were comfortable with linens changed every day. Generally, the hotel is a very clean environment. The staff is friendly, and appear to be confident in their jobs, but the needs of the hotel are over their heads, and they don’t seem to have authority. The hotel needs full-time on premise management.

We stayed here for 5 nights. I must say the location was great. Near Las palapas park, buses, restaurants and more. It's really in the main downtown Cancun. The building is okay considering it has two pools. I have no complaint with our room, the shower is amazing but maybe put a thicker blanket rather than just a thin sheet. The restaurant is not very good. Good thing there's a lot in the area to eat. The receptionist that welcomed us don't speak good English but I know I'm in Mexico but at least know the basic. There was a big dog across the street that barks a lot and echoes all over the building. You can hear people even from the 5th floor. Overall it was still a good stay and we enjoyed it.

Great location. Close to everything, transportation, restaurants, stores. Yes, like other people mentioned, it is very close to night clubs and the music lasts all night long. I love dogs, but the dog barking from the house across the street is awful, and 24 hs. So, make sure you bring noise cancelling earbuds. Now, about the hotel, I have to say, that it was very clean, housekeeping was coming daily to take care of my room. The 2 pools were well maintained. Met Salvador, he was cleaning the lobby area in the mornings, very helpful and respectful. The highlight of this place in my opinion are Juan and Javier from the front desk. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the best. Their service and dedication make a big difference between a good stay and a WONDERFUL stay. Hope they get the recognition they deserve, by the hotel CEO. Thank you again Salvador, Javier and Juan for an outstanding customer service. Sincerely, Verónica E.

We had to find a hotel at 3:00 am and the taxi driver dropped us off here. The guy double charged us for the room. We only took it because it was the middle of the nigth and we did not know where we were at. You can hear everything outside 24/7. Across the street a neighbor has a dog that barks non stop which echos in the hotel, people in the lobby talking, doors closing, etc. The noise is very bad. The room was real clean and their house keeping staff was very helpful. The location is good since it's close to everything.

Our room had roaches, the toilet did not flush, it is located in a bad part of town. The prices are more expensive online. We ended moving rooms and that second room had over 100 flies in the restroom. They come to clean it but it was not perfect. This place is not recommended. It you do decide to stay call the hotel for the real cheap rates. This is compared to a cheap motel!

Enjoyed the stay in this well organised hotel in cancun. Close to the Ado bus station and convenient spot to hop on an R1 bus to the Zona Hotelera for an unforgettable experience at the beach! Nice pool for some relax!
