If I could give it 0 stars I would. When I say DO NOT STAY HERE I mean it. This has been the worst resort experience I have ever had. First off, we asked about upgrading to the adults only package with a better room. We were told it would be $130 total a person. Handed the guy our cards and then he came back and said actually it’s $250. We still agreed. Came back with our cards again and he said actually it’s gonna be $450. After sitting there for an hour we got up and checked out our room. It was atrocious. Dust everywhere, paint chipping, 2 double beds pushed together, no patio, etc. We demanded a room change and received one, although they did nothing else to accommodate. We made reservations for dinner through the concierge because of the trouble we had at the beginning. We show up for dinner and they didn’t have our names on the list. We then had to go back to concierge and sit there for another hour until they could confirm our reservation, and then same exact thing happened the next day. If you are going as a couple, just a warning there are kids everywhere and the pools are definitely not clean. There’s seaweed in the water and on the beach, and overall dirtiness through the hotel. We were told we would receive complimentary Covid tests, and then we got charged $35 for them. We have probably spent around 4 hours at concierge while they tell us to “wait and be patient” every-time something goes wrong. It has been such a waste of our trip. The food is also not that great, of course depending on where you go. I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. I already have, and will be continuing my contact with Cheap Caribbean over our stay because it was absolutely atrocious. I travel a lot and have never had a worse experience. This seems like more of a motel than a resort honestly.

What I can say about this result is that the location is spectacular, it has one of the best beaches. The rooms are kinda old, it doesn't feel like a 5 Star resort, but it's clean and spacious. I would recommend it if you can get a good deal.

Me and my wife have been there plenty of times and we love it! We go about 2 times a year and they are always so accommodating with everything. The beaches are everything you could ever imagine and more!! We have stayed over 15 times an every time we go there is always something new in the hotel. The food is amazing so much to choose from. The staff always does there best to make sure we have everything we need at all times. There is amazing shopping an friendly faces everywhere. We highly recommend this for your next vacation

This resort was a nightmare! DO NOT GO! To begin, we waited at least 1.5 hours to check in. No offer for drinks or water. Only one person could check in at a time and they made everyone else wait outside. No bar options because they require wristbands for drinks that you get at check in. My room was subpar. The pillow I pulled out of the closet was partially eaten by a rodent. When I tried to call the front desk on more than one occasion for a new pillow, towels, and water, which were also missing throughout the stay, no one would answer. Food was terrible. Half of our group got food poisoning. The only option was a buffet because they require reservations at all other restaurants. In order to get a reservation for a restaurant on my birthday, I waited in a line for over an hour just to be told they are not taking any more reservations. The beach was beautiful but all beach chairs were taken and held by 5 am. Despite no one sitting on chairs all day, the hotel never removed towels. The only way we got a chair was to pay $20+ per day for a cabana in the adults only section. Cocktails were watered down and no option for premium liquor. They constantly ran out of beer, cups and liquor at the bars. There are no activities planned day or night and no activities director. We spent a week there and the only option was a pool or the beach. We were there over New Years Eve and had to pay $60 per person for entertainment, food and music. Otherwise you were made to eat at the buffet. I know this review is long but I hope I made my point that we will NEVER go back to this resort. It was awful!

Great outdoor space and the restaurants/food were very good. The rooms certainly were lacking and need a refresh but the beds were comfortable... I suppose the point is to get out and about rather than lounge in the room. LOTS of kids there... which is one of the reasons we booked here. Only a few activities for kids though... expected a little more to be honest. Beach views were excellent.

If you are looking for a positively memorable experience, DO NOT stay at the Grand Oasis Palm. The check-in process took forever because they are completely understaffed, with only two agents checking people in and the process took a long time. Then, we had to stand in another line for over 45 minutes to get room keys because there was only one person taking care of that. The hotel was in disrepair and no one cared about our experience while there. Our toilet backed up several times and no one would answer the phone at the hotel when we called down. The sink and the showers wouldn't drain. We had to go to the front desk to ask for assistance all three times. Only one elevator worked, it was incredibly slow, run down, and it was about 95 degrees. We would also have to wait 10-15 minutes to get on because of the line of people waiting to use it. There was almost no poolside or beachside service; we saw one person working the entire time we were there, which left you standing in line for a long time to get drinks, which were bleak at best! The alcohol was either severely watered down or was nonexistent! The restaurants are a joke because you had to wait in line in the middle of the day to try and get dinner reservations for the restaurants but they only took a very small number of reservations and left tons of open tables and refused to seat walk up guests. This was the worst experience and left us with terrible memories, which will be shared with others. I’ve never written an online review but once I went online and read the negative reviews, everything negative that was posted was true!

Overall great place to stay. They have plenty of activities and live music to keep you entertained and it's great for families. Staff is super friendly and they were able to accommodate a vegan. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the whole dinner reservation thing is kinda crazy. If you don't want to eat at a buffet you need to go stand in line at the spot you want to eat at 3pm and stand in line for almost an hour. It's like the hunger games trying to get a dinner reservation. It's very strange they don't allow you to book online in advance or give each party a time limit at the table to allow for more guests to enjoy an a la carte dinner. For the three nights we were there we were only able to get one reservation. Also they upgraded our room to a suite with an outdoor jacuzzi for free which was nice, except the jacuzzi didn't work, so we let them know. Some maintenance guys came and simply emptied it but no one acknowledged it was still not in use. Other than those two items it was a great stay and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We recently stayed here and had a great time! We enjoyed all the restaurants and buffets. The sushi for lunch was great. This is DEFINITELY a family resort though, which I was not expecting. So many kids and the pools were pretty hard to get chair at because of this. It was loud at times at night from entertainment, but this didn’t bother us. The beach was great, especially because we often couldn’t get seats by the pool. We usually started at the beach and then ended up snagging two chairs by the pool that was less crowded (the one with the swim up bar, go figure!) sometime around lunch. We were pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the room. Lots to do around the area and enjoyed how they had people that could book excursions there for you. We got massages at the spa which were great. You do need to line up right before 4pm to get reservations at the restaurants that require them though or you will not get one! We enjoyed the food all around, but the buffet food was typical buffet food, which is just what we needed, but nothing super upscale there. All in all, I’d recommend this resort to people with younger children, but would probably stay at the sister location next door with more adult only areas going forward. Right next door at the Grand Oasis Palm, we did walk through and see adult only areas, but would be great if there was a pool specifically for adults too.

Me and my family went for a whole week and it was amazing. However, the reason why I’m giving this hotel three stars is because they never provided fresh juice and always had watered out sprite, and other pops. Most of the good food was only available for adults which was disappointing because my kids were not welcome. Note that my kids are over 13 so they’re not infants. Their elevator was shut down for many days as well, and the hotel itself didn’t really give five star atmosphere as it has been advertised to be as. Most restaurants in the resort have various rules. Some rules were bent for people who could speak Spanish and for others who didn’t speak the language were asked to follow all rules, this was obviously racism. It only happened about three times so It didn’t ruin the whole vacation for me and my family, but it was very upsetting considering how much money I spent. Overall I wouldn’t come back to this resort.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. 2nd time visiting and much improved since last year. Great activities, plenty of dining options, buffets have live cooks for omelets and street tacos at most of the sites. Entertainment is available nearly hourly both beach, poolside, and after dinner. Family of 5 with 3 kids under 10 loved it. Safe, clean, and calm beach with no waves or under current. Provides a very carefree time not worrying about the kids in the ocean. Multiple pools with pool bars throughout and a very nice gym that is detached and in front of the resort.

The resort tried to overcharge me for my stay and blamed my credit card company. The charge was clearly from the resort and not the credit card company. Spoke with multiple staff members at the resort regarding the matter; including the supervisor and they all continued to give me the run around till I left the resort. The credit card company confirmed it was the resort that was responsible for the over-charge. When I asked for my check-out receipt for my records, the resort staff gave me a hard-time as if I was not entitled to one and asked several times if I didn't get one when I initially paid. The resort lacks quality air conditioning in the elevators, lobby and other key areas. For an all-inclusive resort, you have to wait on long lines DAILY to get into food restaurants and drink areas. Specialty restaurants have a strict 4pm time to make reservation. Some staff members were uncertain of the reservation times. Several staff members do not know hotel policy and appear to lack the appropriate training in customer service. There were times during my stay the coffee shop was out of ice and remained that way for several hours instead of asking a team member to retrieve ice at a neighboring drink area etc. The resort ran-out or did not provide items daily such as ice cream, food toppings, coffee mixes and drinks. Drinks were substituted for syrup style drinks filled with sugars. The kids area had limited hours with very little flexibility. Several (not all) Arcade games were non-responsive or out of order. The resort has great potential but clearly lacks exceptional management and the necessary oversight.

We went with 7 people and had a blast! Yes the food at some restaurants isn't that good but yes food at others was good. the service was great from sunny at the beginning all the way to pool bars to the bus boys. we brought a lot of 1$ bills and 2$ bills when we got good service we'd tip then good turned into great service. money always helps. imagine working somewhere and always have to help demanding little brats while their parents don't do anything. the only real draw back i seen while we were there was the cabanas get locked down at 8 a.m. by people that aren't even in the pool or enjoying the sun we had 1 and watched two sit there with no one in them for over 6 hours. i find that people are selfish and greedy at these places maybe that's why they get such "bad" service. just because you paid for a low priced all inclusive don't mean you should loose your manners and think you're a king or queen. bring extra money and tip people that make it so you don't have to clean up or serve yourself and you'll have a great time.

I have been coming to Mexico for over 20 year and never have felt the unwelcoming feeling I felt here. Do not come here. Believe the negative reviews. I am far from someone who needs to be pleased by any means. I am here currently and ran into a few families that have the same complaints. They respond to your review but do nothing about it because they do not care. If you are American do not come here as they look at you like you don’t belong here. Bartenders will ignore that you are standing there to get drinks as others come up and get served. There are much better places to go than here. I feel bad for some families that have to save a lot of money to come on vacations like this and feel like they are unwelcome. The Staff are not welcoming by any means. If you are looking to loose weight this is the perfect place for you to visit because the food is horrible. Who wants to spend an hour online to reserve a spot for dinner when you are on vacation. I have never experienced any resort in Mexico like this in 20 years. No room service, room wouldn’t be cleaned unless asked to have it done. When cleaned no towels left, call the concierge and had no time frame for towels to be dropped off and we had dinner reservations. People will take your beach chairs even when you leave your towels in place. Your towels then become missing. Workers will speak about you and not realize you understand and can speak Spanish. They are rude and disrespectful. I will never step foot in another Oasis hotel ever again. Two people I’ll shout out is Luis in Cafe Del Mar and Antonio in Maki taco

My experience at this resort was very unpleasant. It was my first time in Mexico and I was very excited to try authentic Mexican food but it was difficult finding a restaurant that served it. There was one restaurant that was named something taco and it didn’t have tacos on the menu?? How does that make any sense. Also there are limited restaurants and majority of the food served is American. I had to leave the resort several times and walk a few blocks to find authentic traditional Mexican food. Also there were many issues with the room I was staying in. After taking a shower, the water in the shower wouldn’t go down for hours we had to call someone to fix it. Also the room didn’t look very sanitized since I noticed stains on the tables and chairs. Last but not least the activities that were promised on the app weren’t accurate. I waited for over an hour to see a light show that was promised to happen at 8 pm and there was no show. My mom was told about a reservation to get into the pirate ship which she waited a very long time in line for, just for a staff member to say that she waited on line for a restaurant reservation instead?? You’d think that being a tourist attraction the staff would explain things better due to havjng people come from various countries but they don’t. Also forget about going to the pools, they are FILLED with little kids and all of the chairs are taken up. It is almost impossible to enjoy yourself and get peace when staying at this hotel.

Front desk help you to check in then we give $20 tip after 2 days He is very rude already common Roberto if your not happy in the front desk find a different job well most of the front desk NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL they keep talking Spanish in front of anyone that can’t understand We’re the same as you guys work hard and spend the difference is we deserve a good vacation ha! So advice to those who wants to stay in this hotel bring enough $1 tips don’t ask the front desk PLEASE AND THANK YOU oh by the way she’s doesn’t recognize the Canadian dollar

One of the worst vacation I have ever taken. The room smelled and we had yellow water coming from the bathroom sink. You absolutely need a reservation to have dinner in a restaurant and u have to book a day in advance. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days and we were only able to eat at a restaurant for 3 night because they were all booked. We had some restrictions when it came to food and eating at the Buffet was not really a good option because the only thing we can eat there were fries. The entire time we were staying there they only refilled our mini fridge for water twice that too. We had to call multiple times just to get water to the room extremely slow when it comes to doing home services often times our room was not clean till 4 PM in the afternoon. One of the days it rained and the outside lobby was flooded and smelled super gross. The staff seem irritated majority of the time and I don’t blame them because it does not seem like a fun place to work at. Save you money stay away from this place.

When I went there, everything looks so beautiful. I’m looking at the beach lots of cool things. All the restaurants have good food there is a playground where kids can hang out in the beach. There is also kayaks that you can borrow and go into the water. There is also hammocks over the water at the beach. Overall, it’s the best hotel in Cancun. Nice place to hang out with your family during a vacation!!!

Great service, great view. Good entertainment. Nice beach area. The adult section is Nice. Private bar and pool area. I do recommend the spa services. They did a great job.Good selection of food. Steak house was great.Any down side I would say was the food. None of my food was ever hot. It was warm but not hot. If that's a down side. Just my liking I'll say. The food tasted good. I will say and seasoned great. But other than that I would recommend the Palm Oasis time and time again. Shout to front desk Mariano great customer service!!

We were put on the second floor window to pool…. The windows are not sound proof so we could here everything up until 2AM in the morning. Our room was very out dated, not what they show in photos. To make it worse - someone was opening and slamming their door over and over at night and the hotel didn’t do anything about it. Between the pool noise and the noise in the hall we didn’t get to sleep until 2. Our door latch was loose and could easily be broken into. The inside of the door does not have a deadbolt of any kind. We checked other doors and some where like this some where not… I think this is a destination for locals and white Americans are not so welcome. The beach is ok - the pools are extremely busy and wet food and trash is left around pools. The kids did enjoy the pools however. Some buffets were better then others. Kids club ends at 6 which Ian when the nice restaurants open so don’t expect a nice dinner with your spouse if you bring kids here. I wouldn't recommended this place! Sure it was cheap but not worth it.

I booked this hotel last month for my partner's birthday, however I was apprehensive after reading these reviews. I shouldn't have worried, we stayed there last weekend and had such an amazing time. The room was beautiful and clean. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, we had a fantastic time. We'll definitely go back.

I would never recommend this resort, here is why. The check in was miserably long. They were not informative regarding the information about the resort, amenities or things you should know. The public bathrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper or soap, toilets wouldn't flush or were over flowing. The all inclusive drinks were disgusting, the mixers were awful and there is only one option of beer. There were a couple times we had to wait over 1 hour to get beach towels in the morning and if you came too late they were out. The restaurants are all buffets. If you wanted a served meal you had to make reservations AT 4 however the lines started at 3. Anything you did you had to wait in lines. They would run out of food that you could order on the beach. The ice cream for the kids were served in pill cups, like in the hospital. Even though all gratuities are included, as advertised, the service was only worth it if you tipped extra. The cleanliness is so so. The faucet in our children's room did not work. The A/C did not work. Our mini bar would only get restocked if we requested it. Overall, the staff didn't show good customer service. I wish I could write something good however our best days were spent off the property. Two thumbs down!

Definitely don’t recommend. Their website is very misleading about restaurant accommodations. We can’t eat at half of them because they are “adult only” (we have two kids) and the other half require reservations that you can only make in person at the restaurant at 4 pm. If you go and there’s no one there, you still will not be allowed to eat because you don’t have a reservation. So that leaves the buffets which there are 3. From what I can tell they have pretty much the same stuff and it is HOT. We were all sweating trying to sit and eat. It’s all Mexican style (not Americanized) and no one speaks English well enough to explain anything. Did I mention that nothing is air conditioned except the room and even that seems to never get cold? We will never come back. We are literally counting down the days to go home and get a good meal.

I came across numerous reviews for this place, some positive and some negative. However, I decided to give it a chance and see for myself. Honestly, there are several areas that could use improvement, particularly the maintenance of the rooms. On a positive note, the lobby, restaurants, pool, beach, and other common areas are well-maintained. Considering the price versus the benefits, it's acceptable. Just keep in mind that this hotel is a decent place to spend some time.

This was my third visit at this hotel. It gets better each visit. Plenty of variety for food and entertainment...you never have to leave the resort. Karina and Omar were the best...they were friendly and exceptionally helpful. We're heading back in the spring.

It was a little noisy with several types of music playing at once, but it was a nice trip. The servers in the bars & restaurants were awesome! Everyone had a smile on their face and were quite welcoming and attentive. It took a while for us to get into our room because they wouldn't allow us to in until 3 PM; we arrived at 11:30. There was plenty of things to do, though. The difficulty was in the area where our hotel room was even after we moved because of the lord music that played late (we had to be at the airport at 5a that morning to leave so we were a bit tired the first night. It wasn't any better the night before when we had to leave at that same time). It was still quite noisy with people slamming doors and speaking loudly outside our door at 3 AM. Other than a few small issues, the trip was good.

Oh boy. First and Last. Went with a group of 9 with 2 kids and the experience was bad from the moment we tried to check in. Groupon booked and went really horrible. Hassled for over an our just to check in. Had to get customer service in Groupon to help in real time to get us checked in. Front desk will not initiate any communication to get you checked in. Unfortunately, heard from other people in hotel that didn't book through Groupon they had a horrible time too. Have to check in your room ON THE DOT. There's a line outside (in the heat) the restaurants to make dinner reservations. Want to spend your vacation on a line?? Food is not good. Lots of children here. No ample seating in lobby. I can't believe this place have "4" stars. Front desk personel are hit or miss. This guy named Saul M. caught a Big Face attitude with our party when we asked for our room keys. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. WAAAOOHHWW WOOOOW X 100. Please don't come here 😭

ZERO STARS- RUN, don’t walk from this place! Summary: - Long lines for all restaurants, enter the coffee shop, lines at 8am to obtain a reservation for the specialty restaurants (not worth eating there, see below), lines at 8am to reserve a daybed at the beach club, lines to get an elevator (two elevator for all 100 something rooms), etc. - Dirty and grimy everywhere, just gross to touch anything outside of our room. Beach is full with trash in the morning and beach chairs and dirty and stained with food remnants (doubtful these have been ever been pressure washed). - It smells bad - stinks! - almost everywhere. Specifically in the staircase that you are forced to use if no elevator shows up. The rooms smell musty and shower drains smell like sewage. - Room windows leak: we had water come in to the room and pool on the floor during rainstorm. This may be the reason for the musty smell. One of our children has mild asthma and her cough has been getting significantly worse. - Restaurants are out of basic items all the time - no bread at breakfast, no fries for kids (tip: the fries were one of the best things to eat). And nobody cares that they are out of things. - Rude staff (simple requests or complaints are just ignored). - Tasteless and cold food on dirty dishes (even at restaurants that cost extra). If dishes are even available… - Everything is watery- drinks, ketchup, coffee, etc. - Rooms in urgent need of renovation or updating, even if surface only (chipped paint, chips in floor tiles, doors peeling). - No blankets in rooms, beds made with just sheets (upon calling for the third time to ask for blankets, we received thin scratchy polyester blankets), most towels have holes. - Noisy until after midnight, beware of the half of the hotel facing the pirate ships. - Dingy hallways without lighting. - Overall complete waste of money, and comparable to the worst motel of your town. We booked this as a family resort that at least our three young children could enjoy (without us worrying about them bothering other vacationers), and did not have any expectations after reading the other reviews. But even no expectations were not met. We are thankfully leaving tomorrow and on one positive note, none of our three children had food poisoning (yet). I tried to take pictures throughout our stay for others to get a true representation of this awful establishment and hopefully a better idea of what they will get.

Very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. The rooms are dated and small. There were dead cockroaches on the floor in the stairwell. Housekeeping did not have any towels or washcloths for my family. And there was no air conditioning in the lobby, making it very uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here. Don't waste your time and money!!

I was bit disappointed overall. I found the food was very cheap and seemed thrown together. I didn’t have a good meal the entire 4 days there. Plus there was air conditioning in the halls which made it uncomfortable coming and going. The resort looks nice, pools, beach, bars etc. my only real knock was the food was just not up to par. If that gets better it would be cool.

HORRIABLE. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. First of all, the entrance to the hotel was too small, and the WIFI doesn’t keep you logged in. The main lobby was so unprofessional, crowded, and unorganized. To check in there was very unfriendly staff. Trust the reviews, everything about the reviews are absolutely true (except the ones that are good). The hotel has this very strange smell that I can’t explain, and it stays all throughout the hotel. To explain it at best, it smells humid and black mold. The buffet is just bad. Nothing good. There is so limited options and most are not for kids. There is a 1 hour wait time for everything, and the food is not even worth it in the end. At that point just eat out. Everything about this hotel just gets worse and worse. Now, the hotel rooms, they are very small, and the beds are very weird. The beds are like two in one, which is too small and uncomfortable for your whole family. The rooms smell and the bed sheets are very dirty and have stains on them. The bathroom is built poorly that water gets everywhere! And it’s very exposed which makes it difficult to get changed, shower, or just use the bathroom without feeling uncomfortable. There is no room service, I was out all day and came back at night to a dirty room. This hotel as very good marketing I’ll give them that, but don’t let them fool you. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. On a final note, for some reason I can’t see the review my mom has also left for the hotel. So I have an idea that they are either reporting it or something else. If you are thinking this hotel as an option to save money, don’t even. Everything is 0/10.

Your heart will be broken if you book your vacation at this place. Don’t do it. If you are thinking of booking at the oasis Palm, to save some money, you’ll be better off with an Airbnb. The check in process was horrible. The customer service is really bad. The rooms are dirty and they smell. This is an all inclusive, but the food is so bad that you’re going to have to eat out . Please, please listen to me. I hope everybody gets a chance to read this review, do not book at this resort.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL/RESORT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH MY FAMILY!! I have never left a bad review but I don't want other families to go through what my family and I went through. The rooms look like Motel rooms, tiny beds, old electrical receptacles (that you can't even charge your electronis), old lamps and as soon as you walk into the room it smells like sewer and dirty water. They don't provide you with comforters and the security box isn't even secure. Didn't feel comfortable leaving my personal belongings, I perfered taking them with me at all times. The food horrible. The drinks are horrendous. The services/employees aren't kind nor helpful. I took videos of my room but unfortunately I can't upload them.

We stayed here with our family (2 adults and 2 children)with the upgrade to Grand Oasis Palm which gives you access to extra restataunts and is supposed to give you an upgraded room. We never got an upgraded room. Then most of the restaurants are adults only so we were stuck eating at the buffet for all 3 meals the first two days. We tried booking the La cart restaurants but they were full. The only reason the resort got two stars is the last two nights when we did get to the la cart restataunts the food en experience was awesome. The room has a smell coming from the drains that smell like sewage, we were on one of the higher floors too. I asked for an extra blanket one night and they just never brought it. The dinosaur lazy river is only accessible for a few hours a day. The rest of the day it’s only for the daycare, so they’ll let your kids go but not with you. This is quite frustrating as it was one of the things that we saw in the photo that made us book here. If you’re going on a family vacation, book somewhere else. If your just a couple adults looking for a cheap AI and you’re not fussy then it might be ok for you.

The cleaning staff leaves items broken or stained in the room and then tries to extort you for it. The hotel management staff is in on the whole scam. Obviously, there are newer hotels on the strip and this one doesn't have the means to keep up with the new hotels and doesn't have the money update, slowly dying. On the beach they also drain their storage tanks twice a day while kids and parents are playing in the water. It stinks something awful and nobody knows the hotel is polluting the bay.

Beware before you book: If you want a really bad buffet (like slimy food) the first 2 days of your stay then this is your place. You must reserve a table at a restaurant 2 days prior or pay up charges for what everyone gets included. Pools are small, beach is nice, people are great, but the hotel rules and restaurants are absolutely not all inclusive and very limited.

Would not recommend this resort, mostly due to its location and the beach/ocean not being as nice as on the main strip, but also due to all the guests from the adjoining resort coming over and using our amenities (i.e. restaurants, pools, kids area, etc.) while we could not use their amenities. The good things of this resort were the coffee shop, kids area/club, and the pizza restaurant (server Tomas was great). Kids had fun and we had a nice vacation in the end, and the staff at this resort do work very hard to keep the place clean and provide good service. However, expect to wait for a long time to do anything in the resort.

There are good things and bad things about this hotel, but it does not really matter…. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Getting food is such a horrible user experience. I could go on detail about good things and bad things about the quality of the food but it does not really matter… every time you will go for food for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, you will have to do 30m to 1 hour queues. Standing in the hot Sun or humid nights just standing there hoping someone leaves their table and the line can move 10 cm ahead with 40 people in front of you. The worst part is that this is obvious that it is all by design. They close down many eating areas at breakfast or dinner and the best restaurants that are actually any good are just a handful of tables that you have to stand in line for 40 minutes to reserve in the middle of the day and fight with other guests to see who is more desperate for a meal. They already have your money so they don’t care. You will be wishing you are anywhere but here.

The Grand Oasis Hotel is a perfect place for everybody. Especially with a family but it could be very nice with friends and couple aswell. This hotel is very luxurious, the staff is incredibly professional. The hotel is very clean despite the number of people there. The restaurants are so good and well prepared. The food is like a fine dining restaurant. I'll recommand every restaurant but especially the Cocoa for breakfast.

This dump! Do not stay here. I Wes assaulted without provocation by a family of four and bent my thumb in the wrong direction defending myself from the animals. Hotel did nothing but bring ice! They offered to move me to the least of the hotels in the area. They somehow deleted My original review. It’s not user friendly. The food is dreadful. Not handicap accessible. Staff is rude and can’t speak English or read Spanish. Black mold and mildew through the room. Laundry stinks. Room walls and doors filthy. Furniture is nasty. Large drop off on ramps that are slick. You will fall! Large step into tub from marble floor with only a partial shower door so the floor is more slick. Just a gross place. Do not believe these fake reviews! Poor grout, nasty. I will continue to post it again and again to keep others from being disgusted and injured in another country!

Let me begin by saying that before we booked this I thoroughly did my research. This was my first trip to Mexico so we wanted to be very specific when we searched. I’m sure everyone’s experience was different. I’ll be the first to say that the lines to eat were pretty long, but what do you expect? It’s a tourist spot. They weren’t unreasonably long, I might have waited 45 minutes for the buffet but I had a drink in my hand. The fancier restaurants were worth all the hype and def. worth an early reservation. The drinks kept coming, be nice to your servers and nice to the barkeeps. I’m not a person that came from money but a dollar goes a long way. I witnessed so many patrons be demanding and couldn’t even tip a dollar. Tip the cleaning staff each day - I’ll tell you that each day my fridge was stocked with water and beer. As far as the beach goes, it was clean, I even saw staff clean up litter that messy patrons would leave late into the night. Yes you will see Mexican marines, I promise you they are there just to take pictures like you are. Just don’t pee in public and don’t get caught doing anything illegal. We are def. coming back, hell we might even bring the kids next time. Remember we all share this planet, take care of it and take care of your fellow man. Gracias Oasis Palm, pronto regresamos!

Not sure where to start but it’s NOT GOOD. They don’t clean the beach, drinks and food are BAD, rooms are dark clammy and dingy but the AC still manages to dry your innards out. The elevators- forget about catching one but at least you can get exercise with the stairs. They won’t re-stock your room fridge daily- only once every two days. Full of screaming kids. Ugh! There’s more but you get it, there are much better choices even if you want to save money.

Don't go to cancun unless you want to enjoy the beach with soldiers. Don't choose the hotel if you re not a fan of defect air conditioning and hourlong queus in front of restaurants or bars

I have not arrived at this hotel yet, but I do have a trip booked. I will update if my experience changes. Communication is very poor with this hotel. So far, I have gathered that reservations for restaurants can only be made at 4PM for the same day of service. This means you will have to cater a portion of your day just for this or eat at the same place everyday. In addition, I was told prior that once booked, I can have a note requested for balcony. The person is now telling me that I would have to wait for availability upon arrival. I hope this trip isn't a total wack. I would gladly appreciate some feedback from someone at this hotel asap. I will look into cancelling but I would like if things worked out at this hotel as the play areas look really nice for my child.

This was my first time staying at the Oasis Palm Resort and I can say that I truly enjoyed myself. The employee's were beyond friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, the live music was wonderful and the arcade games was fun. It reminded me of my childhood! Also the view of the ocean from my room was breathtaking and I am definitely coming back to this hotel.

I recently went with my family and stayed at this all inclusive hotel it is supposedly a non smoking place but there are multiple people smoking by the beach or by the pools, the people working there are so RUDE we asked a waiter for some waters and then asked him again for a refill and told us with such a rude way that he already brought us water. The rooms are horrible once we checked in we went to our room and our sheets had makeup stains the pillows were so old and the shower looks pretty and all but does not work it would take for ever for the water to go down and for the water to come out the shower head you it would take a good 10 minutes i do not recommend this place at all the pools as well were not clean they smelled bad.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The restaurant’s were nice and you get seated quickly at all the buffets. You do have to make reservations for the nicer restaurants and they only take them day of starting at 4pm. And when they run out, that’s it. Only bummer really with the whole reservation but our party of 6 never had a problem. There are a lot of kids that run around but later at night there’s an adult only bar/club that’s super relaxing and also an adult only pool with hot tubs and pools with lots of areas to relax. The staff were really accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. They filled our mini fridge every other day with 8 new bottles of water free of charge. The mini fridge comes with beers and soft drinks all free of charge. This resort is very conducive for family trips. But I was with adults and we still enjoyed ourselves with the swim up bars and beach time. The beach water was a little dirty however, there was a nice amount of debris and sticks that was up there but other than that the beach is clean. They have security so we felt safe the entire time. Taxis are soooo easy to get. The workers at the from call them on the walkie-talkie and they arrive in 5-10 minutes MAX. if your flight gets in early they will keep your luggage and let you enjoy the resort amenities while you wait for check in to your room. Over all I’m rating my experience an 8/10.

First off all, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL because; 1. Check-in process is so long. We arrived at 1 pm and wait for 3 hours in a very hot lobby and hot restaurants. No air conditioning in public areas. 2. Not enough tables in restaurants. People are waiting about an hour in front of a buffet restaurant. Nothing special. See the pictures. 3. Not enough chair and umbrellas in the beach. You need to go at 7:30 a.m. to be able to get one. 4. Waiters are working extremely hard and you can see how tired they are in their face. They are trying to be nice all the time. 5. Drinks were awful. Only white wine was good enough. 6. Our door lock was not working and room door was open for first 3 days, then they fixed it. Our door key was barely working. We reseted the keys for 5 times. Overall experience was bad. The management must see the problems and fix them.

I can not believe this hotel is a 5 star hotel. We arrived yesterday and so far our experience is a disaster. Pools are so dirty full of kids and space for people. Our bathroom was flooding every time we shower. Our sink started leaking water into the bedroom. We asked for extra towels never got them extra blankets never received them. The lobby looks like a metro station, no beds on the beach. I do not recommend at all. Very disappointing.

This was our first time in Mexico. From the beginning the staff were always so helpful and friendly (really amazing people). From buffets to a la carte restaurants, we’re all good. It was my partners birthday while we were away and they got him banners at the restaurant, cake with candle and his name on it. It was really special. You can see the staff work really hard, so if you ever visit I recommend leaving a tip in the room, restaurant, bar etc. The staff are very appreciative and deserve it! I will definitely be coming back!!

It’s a Mexican style family resort, meaning that the shows are late, they start mostly at 21:00. For some reason is allow to smoke here everywhere but inside, so by the beach or by the pools you can find people smoking. The food and service is average, and is necessary to make line for every restaurant. Even the ones you reserve, you need to stand in line for at least 30 minutes to get a reservation. They sell you extra stuff if you want to skip the line the made a reservation. As a group of 10, it was hard to get tables all together, there was max. 6 people per table. The place is decent but I cannot say I’d be back.

Beautiful place, with very friendly staff!! The front desk people were great. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the food could be better. It made my friends and I sick multiple times. But overall and amazing vacation!!! Bartender’s Alex & Leonardo are the best :)

We had a wonderful time! Check in went smoothly. Our room cleaned and fridge restocked daily. The beach and pools were beautiful. This is definitely a family resort and there a lot of kids. So keep that in mind if you want peace and quiet. There are plenty of different food options, but some restaurants do require reservations that need to be made by 4pm. The staff was all very helpful and we loved out bartender at the tiki bar, Alex! We also met some amazing people from all over the world. We would return!

We got to the resort and were told we were staying at the "sens" side vs the palm. We paid the taxes online from our travel agent. Once we got here they argued we had additional taxes to pay to the resort. Of course we paid through a travel agent and were upset because this should have already been taken care of. The room was nice, adjoining rooms which is what we paid for. Upon arrival, I found blood on our sheets. It was on the fitted sheet down to the mattress cover. I told the front desk. They apologized and said they would send someone up in 1 hour. We were hesfing back to the room anf housekeeping immediately showed up. Started to change the sheets, when i pointed out blood was on the mattress she rolled her eyes and called out to her coworker. Unfortunately, i do not dpeak spanish but the eye roll and frustration was absolutely unnecessary. We found a cockroach in the room, we told them and they didnt care. Service at the bars is slow and they seem to only help out a few customers. We had 1 waitress help us via pool side one day out of the 6 days we were there. Key cards quit working multiple times and they kept saying it was my fault because I put my phone near the card. Only 1 elevator worked the entire stay. They have 2 elevators which for the size of the resort isnt enough. My daughter got sick, I went to concierge and the guy (forgot his name) was so helpful. He was able to help me order medicine from pharmacy, which they dropped off. The last day the air conditioning quit working, from what I heard from others no ones was working. On Monday night, we were walking through hall, workers were on a ladder painting. The painters dropped a paintbrush on my daughters back. I completely understand accidents happen, but I went to concierge (on the oasis side) whom went to "confirm" my story was correct. (Very condescending). Management wanted to attempt to clean the shirt, and only seemed to be concerned about taking my daughter to the doctor. The concern was the paint all over her new shirt, which is what she was upset about. They attempted to launder which obviously did not work and option b was for them to replace the cost of the shirt. When my husband went to pick up the shirt, they were going to pay us in pesos and told him to come back the next day to get dollars. When we went back, no one knew what was going on and they then offered to only pay 60% of our shirt!! We have stayed at other resorts and this by far was the worst. We try to make the best out of our vacation, just the lack of concern was very upsetting. .
