😠 They have a huge problem with BEDBUGS and they don't seem to take it seriously! Two weeks ago we wanted to stay there for one night. They have a huge problem with BEDBUGS and they don't seem to take it seriously! Two weeks ago we wanted to stay there for one night. At the late evening we saw serveral bedbugs crawling on the bed so we decided not to stay there overnight. At least we get our money back but the staff left us out in the rain without helping us to find another accommodation -it was 1 am! The worst night in two month travelling! If they know they have bedbugs why they still offer accommodation??

BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!! So disgusting. Tried 3 different rooms and it was the same in each. They refuse to give refunds back even if you don’t sleep there after laying in bed and getting covered in bites. Go anywhere else, PLEASE!

BEDBUGS !! Even though the staff was welcoming, the amenities and especially the room were really disappointing. As other commenters said, the hostel is cute from the outside but once you check in, you can easily see the dirtiness of the bathroom, and the worst of the worst, bedbugs. I complained to the front desk, but since the manager was not here for the check out, there was absolutely no help offered, apart from an apology. Strongly recommend to find another place to stay if you can.

This hostel was the dirtiest and smelliest hostel out of the four that we stayed in ,in Mexico. Upon arrival it was clear they had almost 0 of the amenities promised. No kitchen and a fridge in the employee area only. There is a potential we missed it but at check in we weren't given a tour or any details just a trip to the wrong room before getting to our actual room. The staff was friendly enough but was alouf and hard to find. The bathrooms were disgusting with large clumps of hair and other things in all showers and toilets that flushed about half the time. After reading all the other reviews the best thing I can say is that we did not find bedbugs like some guests. Also no potable water.

The hostel looks cute on the outside and staff seems friendly. However I do not recommend it, as the rooms are incredibly small, they fit 6 beds where you can hardly fit one (believe me!). The mattress are really thin and everything is generally dirty: there is tons of dust in the rooms, and the toilets/showers are not in the best condition either.

    - Unfriendly staff !!! - I didn't receive a towel even thought the hostel is supposed to supply with one on demand. I've been told that they run out of towels and it was not fully booked. - U have to wear a hostel bracelet as a safety precautions. On the other hand entrance door is open day & night so anyone can enter the hostel and your room while you sleep. Unless a magic bracelet saves you. - ac didn't work as they couldn't find a remote control - light in thr room was flashing and I've been told I have to deal with it

PEOPLE ARE NOT KIDDING ABOUT BEDBUGS. Like, I have NEVER seen an infestation like this. Bugs were FALLING off me at the airport after staying here. It was DISGUSTING. I'm currently running out to the hardware store to HOPEFULLY treat my luggage. So so so many bugs

Honestly don't waste your time and money in here, even if it's cheap. The bedsheets are dirty, shared rooms are tiny, extremely hot and moist, and they couldn't care less about your comfort and help you sorting any issues with your room. They won't give you any money back even though they are not providing the service you've paid for. As soon as they have your money, you're literally on your own.

We booked a private room in this hostel over a month ago, and even emailed on the day of arrival to let them know we would be checking in around 11pm, and when we arrived we were told there was no power or electric for our room and no others available. They tried to ring a few other places but they didn't have any suitable rooms so the very first night of our trip we had to wonder around Cancun in the middle of the night after nearly 24 hours of travelling with huge bags trying to find somewhere else to stay. If i was travelling solo i would have felt incredibly unsafe. Really bad service, they had all of my contact details so why did they not tell us in advance or reply to my email so we had time to make other arrangements? Maybe it was for the best that we couldn't stay as there were a lot of recent reviews mentioning bedbugs

The most disgusting and dirty hostel that I have ever seen within my 6 months journey in Mexico. They even don't change the bed sheets for the next guests.

I can't recommend the place. The matress was very thin, the room small, the bathroom not practical, the interior very worn out and the staff stoned and people had a party until 4am. And I was in several hostels already, so I can compare.

We booked our stay month in advance just to arrive at 1am in the middle of the night to be refused the room as they were full. The guy kept us outside of the gate like some strangers, let us in only because I asked few times in panic if we can use their WiFi. They said it was booking.com fault not theirs but then they showed us our booking in their system - they could respond and email is about the error but they didn't. We also sent them private message about our late arrival which they also had in their system ( they showed us ) and nobody bother to tell is there is no rooms. Scammers, avoid! After 10min another group of people arrived and they have been refused the rooms as well. Be careful with them. Not helpful. I asked where can we go and they didn't bother to help us with the direction. We asked for taxi and they said it is impossible to order taxi at this time ( which as turned out later - was not true). We escaled the complaint and got the money back but thebstress they caused is unforgettable. This is not how you want to start your holidays.

After payment I was not offered any receipt or proof of payment. After 2 nights my roomates discovered BEDBUGS. The manager Joel, refunded them, but did not tell me and acted like nothing happened. After my roomates told me, he refused to refund me because he did not believe the bugs would be on my bed. So after search with lights (he touched my clothes on the bed without consent) I discovered bugs. He then promised full refund IN THE MORNING. Unfortunately he did not offer any help to find another hostel or move me to another room. In the morning he wanted to give me only a thousand pesos, which would mean that he would charge me for more nights that I stayed. Only after I insisted that he said full refund, he recalculated and gave me exactly the amount of my remaining nights. I also had to argue for money to wash my clothes which was given to my roomates without any problems. I also discovered, that they rented the room next day. Joel also seemed very uninterested in selling me any tours that are provided by hostel. After I asked about one,the next day he did not talk to me and only after some questioning he told me to go by ADO. Another problem was with no gas for cooking my first morning and no hot water my second evening. Also I received cold and arrogant response to questions about my missing charging cable.

I spended here my first few nights in Mexico and i’ve never felt more welcome in a new place. It’s clean, comfy and all in all a very good hostel with even better employees! Shoutout to Cesar - the best tour guide and adviser! Thanks for everything.

A genuinely great, affordable hostel. Beds were comfy, and staff were amazing. Especially Ceaser, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even took us out to explore Cancun in his own time

Most of the time there was no water and internet. The reception staff are always stoned and they don't care about the hostel. There are 2 dogs which are very annoying especially when someone is eating. The kitchen is very small and the fridge is always full. Noisy neighbour and in all rooms there are bed bugs. location is OK which is too near to the city centre and supermarket. But I don't recommend it at all.

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel but I could stay like a month ! So nice hostel, I met nice people ! It is not on the touristic bay ! So that is better, you can see more local people in this area ! But if you want to go to the touristic area of Cancun you just have to take a 30min bus drive. And that is the same if you want to go to the most beautiful beach of Cancun (playa delfines). I recommend it !

They are so kind! We used the luggage store and they let us take a shower before going to the airport. Thank you so much!

A great place to stay. Very relaxed with good energy. I even engaged in some lively discussion with a few guests about natural law and anarchy. My roommates ended up going out all night so effectively I had the room to myself.

I don't clean my room. The mattress is dusty and the bathroom and room lights flicker. The shower room is not well drained, so the water is collected. There is a swimming pool, but it cannot be used because it is not cleaned

I made a reservation more than 1 month ago and when I got there to check in the place was closed. I had to arrange another place at the last minute. I spent a lot with Uber to go there for nothing and to go to the other accomodation. Don't book there!
