The front desk staff are so insensitive 😔 with very poor customer service, not considering long journey travelers. We came with early flight and arrived as early as 9am with plan of dropping our box at the lobby and go for sides seeing then come back to check in around 2pm even though check-in time was 3pm, but the lady at the lobby was so rude and inconsiderate at all. We came back to the hotel around past 130pm, we were told our room was not ready yet, we had to just seat at the lobby waiting while others are being checked in with flimsy excuse that our room is not ready yet, in same hotel, same building 🤯 The reason was totally biased to me. Why will some came in and checked in immediately and we were asked to wait till 3pm in SAME HOTEL. Anyways,we finally entered the room at exactly 3pm, as usual, I usually check bathroom first in any hotel,to my super surprise 😳, the allocated room was on the third floor and the bathroom/shower is super duper TINY🥺, I have never seen anything like that in my life🤔😶 so far not even this tiny in New York city when we visited. We were really disappointed, the shower was super small and in same cubic with toilet, can never hold two people. The bed was hard, not soft at all and the room in general was NOT welcoming,NOT feeling it at all, so dry. The TV has both voice and caption in Spanish, even tried to see if we can change the caption to English but to no avail. Everything about this hotel is just NOT meeting up to their name brand and the impression spirit airlines potraited when they offered it to us as an option we obviously fell for. The only consoling part is the location, no doubt it's in a good location, near so many restaurants, Walmart, Sams and other shopping complex and their breakfast offers. Any other things besides these are TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT,they really need to do far better. Lastly, been our first time in Mexico and in cancun precisely, we really do not know much but we learn from first experience. Definitely will not recommend this particular hotel if you pay attention to good customer service and bathroom space like me. If we are to come visit again, we definitely explore more options and look for another better hotel around with our experience now.

Good clean modern hotel. Staff in general are friendly. Although location is not the best they do provide shuttle to the airport (but not back or pickup) and also some other destinations in the city centre. There's some shops and restaurants around the area but that's all. Breakfast is in general ok. It is however one of the much better Hampton Inn that's I've stayed in Mexico even compared to Mexico City.

This is a modest and nice place. Whoever owns this Hampton Inn clearly cares about it and the customers. The beds are comfortable, the room was pretty quiet, the breakfast had a nice selection (and if you don't like the coffee, which isn't very good, there is a Starbucks within walking distance across a parking lot). The manager who checked in me and my sons (here for a sport tournament) was very nice and friendly, though no one who works here seems to wear a name plate, so I couldn't tell you his name. One or two of the other front desk people, well, are not so nice, but the people who work at the breakfast section were extremely nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Oh, and there are some nice restaurants also within walking difference, and also a Walmart Express, if you need to buy any essentials.

First, let me say you must read review between the lines. As I was searching for hotels near the airport the reviews weren't not good. I booked Because it was only for one night and time was running out. Hampton was clean upon entry room is very small but clean. There's a Walmart and many areas to eat. Staff was very pleasant. The shuttle was on time it actually took us back to airport early because we were ready. The shower had very hot water . I would recommend

Great hotel in Cancún business zone. Easy walk to great shopping and restaurants. Very clean and well equipped room and common areas / lobby. Easy parking. Friendly helpful service, quick and simple check in / out. Well staffed. Highly recommend!!! Update February 2023: Some issues with poor communication of parking process and no voucher provided at check-in for parking validation. Rooms need new doors and tile - see photos. Removing one star…

Located between the airport and downtown in an area called Cumbres. Has a dozen restaurants, and Walmart grocery store in the same complex. Continental breakfast was convenient and had a fair amount of options. Rooms were clean and we had a nice view of the man made water stream outside. Hotel has a gym, small pool area, and a laundry room. Wifi was good for phone use but may not be great if working on laptops. They provide an airport shuttle only back to the airport after checkout. Front desk staff was friendly. They have a tour guide at the hotel and we took one of the full day tours to Chichinitza. 7-eleven is across the street and we purchased sim card from there.

I felt like I needed to share my experience and stay because of some negative reviews I've seen. I was only in cancun for a short time and chose to stay here. This Hampton Inn is one of the nicest I've stayed at, and I've stayed at many in the USA. I had one minor issue with the refrigerator not cooling upon arrival, and Roberto from the front desk sent the maintenance man ( very nice guy) to inspect, and within 10 minutes, they brought me a new refrigerator This was my first time in Cancun, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants, a coffee shop, Sam's club, and a Walmart all in walking distance. There was also a very nice gym with lots of equipment in the hotel, but I did not use it because of the circumstances. The shopping area the hotel is located in is also gated with security. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone stating in cancun for a few days.

Ok hotel. Reception staff nice. Basic room, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast also rather basic.

Terrible and overpriced with paper-thin walls . Enjoy your typical bunch of guiltless us tourists. Never again. Glad I just booked it for 1 night. Terrible place.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location, it was walking distance form the office we were visiting, close to restaurants & supermarket. Breakfast was very poor and basic, so we were having outside the hotel after checking few times. Upon my booking, I requested a high floor room & nice view (if possible) - what I received was 2nd floor, parking lot view :)... The room was very smelly & the air-condition was barely working. Proper solution or room change was never provided. There were many other accidents happening through out our stay... Worth mentioning was my colleague's credit card was "accidentally" charged in USD instead of MXP, so beer and chips costed about 300 USD!!!!... But the worst thing was1 day before departure...We were on a day trip and we realized we will not make it on time for the check out on the next day. We called the hotel to ask for late check out and I was advised that this was is possible by 16:00h on the next day with extra charge for a day use. We agreed on the additional charge and asked the suitcases from my colleague's room to be moved to mine. The reception confirmed the request. What a surprise, when we arrived on the next day, 15:40h... We found all our belongings at the lobby. The receptionist handed my stuff form the room's safe and said we do not have to pay anything. That we can change clothes in the lobby's toilet. I asked for the manager and he was, of course, missing. That was unacceptable!!!! We had an agreement and it was not kept! Furthermore, there was stuff missing from my luggage and they called the housekeeping and they went to the room and found it... I cannot describe the feeling of having to collect your luggage in the hotel's lobby an hour before your departure and change clothes in a toilet. After my complaint, I was offered a room free of charge as compensation, but if was already too late, as we had to leave for the airport in 30 min... Terrible service and very poor way to manage such situations!

Good location, near several restaurants, but much further from the airport than advertised (about 25 minutes). Big negative was that the they advertise an airport shuttle. They were vague when trying to coordinate prior to arrival ("call us a day in advance") which we did. The hotel tell gave us an email address to write the request, but on the day of travel they tell us that the shuttle only brings customers TO the airport, costing us hassle and an extra $30.

    1. First time in our history with Hilton we had to wait from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM because room wasn't ready. Never seen any hotel especially a Hilton so under prepared 2. Room didn't have bath towels. Based on our check in experience we choose not to ask for any. 3. Room was very basic and didn't feel like a Hilton. Water quality was not great - green color with smell This is in a newly developed area but has several eating places and bank ATM near by.

Worst hotel ever! They limit the towels. I’ve never experienced such a thing in all the Hilton properties I’ve stayed at. I’m not peasant, nor look like one for them to assume I might steal them. It’s pathetic. Also, the front desk staff, they are so lazy and they don’t have no proper education. No Hello or Good Morning. I regret staying here. This place is a joke. If you have money, stay somewhere else. I should have stayed somewhere else. Never again. And they don’t even have tooth paste or tooth brushes. This is the worst Hilton hotel ever. 0/10

Decent spot, could have a better breakfast selection. I booked the 9:30am shuttle for my 11:10am flight. 9:30am, no shuttle... 9:45am no shuttle still... I asked the front desk & they said it had broken down, so I had to book an Uner which took a long time to come & almost resulted in missing my flight

EXCELLENT STAFF AT EVERY STATION EXCEPT 1 FEMALE AT FRONT DESK HORRIBLE ATTITUDE AND NO CARE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HOLD HILTON BRANDED HOTELS TO HIGH STANDARDS. PRICE FOR MEXICO IS VERY EXPENSIVE SHOULDNT BE MORE THAN 40 USD TOTAL A NIGHT LIKE SERIOUSLY THIS ISNT A 5 STAR HOTEL OR EVEN BUILT THAT WAY ROOMS ARE SMALL BEDS ARE CHEAP ETC. I LOVE THE MORNING KITCHEN STAFF. KIND FUNNY SWEET EXTREMELY HARD WORKERS. PLEASE TIP THEM AND HOUSE KEEPING STAFF WELL IF YOU STAY THERE. I BELIEVE EVERYONE GOING TO CANCUN SHOULD ONLY STAY HERE. ITS CLEAN AND SAFE AND STAFF ARE EXCELLENT EXCEPT FEW AS I MENTIONED. AS A PILOT I STAY HERE EVERYTIME EXCEPT ONCE I MADE A MISTAKE STAYING ELSEWHERE WHICH I REGRET. I REQUEST A FEW THINGS IF POSSIBLE TO BE ARRANGED. 1 toilet paper 🧻 should be scent free. 2 there should be air circulation fans in bathrooms. 3 unlimited drinking water should be provided free of charge. 4 A/C units temp controls should be adjustable past 3 times I been there I would set it too 24* but it will automatically go back to 18*. 5 please groom that dog at pet store across from u all and help his health TAKE HIM FOR CHECK UP AT VET AT PETCO and provide him with cool water and fan. He’s such a sweet pet. I love seeing him everytime we come thru with my staff. The front desk staff is terrible. Most won’t even acknowledge you when it’s obvious you’re checking in or need assistance. The rooms are very small and beds are uncomfortable. The front desk tried to make us stay in a room type that we didn’t book and when we asked to change rooms we were told everything is full. The AC has a mind of its own. The location is good if you’re not interested in venturing out much but besides that I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great staff on Front Desk, also at breakfast, nice rooms and comfy beds but the bathroom the shower was dirty. Great location cause in front you'll have cinema, restaurants, walmart, Smart Fit, etc.

I traveled to cancun solo and felt safe the entire time. Hampton takes extra steps in securing their guests safety. Located in downtown cancun, it shares a parking lot with several restaurants, a Walmart and a Starbucks. Staff was very helpful. Everything was clean. Inwould go back anytime and recommend it highly.

It was good overall. A few inconveniences, they gave us 1 room key, which needs to stay in the room to keep the lights on, same key is needed to get elevator access to our floor. So every time i wanted to go downstairs for whatever reason, on the way back I had to ask the front desk to swipe their keycard in the elevator for me. Also the pillows were not easy to sleep on.

Surprisingly decent hotel. Flight was cancelled back to the states so we had to scramble to get a place for the night. Decent price, pretty good hotel. Great free breakfast.

If you are planning to use the shuttle, make sure to find out the hours of operation. I called and someone confirmed that the shuttle will be available for us but when I checked in, the lady at the front told me that the shuttle was not available in the early hours of the day.

For our next day flight, we had a short stay for only one night. Although the rooms are a bit small, the beds are double in size. There is a pool available, however, please note that only snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are served, and there is no restaurant on site. The breakfast, which is included in the stay, is served from 7am to 10am. I recall that it offers a variety of options such as cereal, eggs, waffles, beans, chilaquiles, fruits, oatmeal, and more. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is situated on a large property with parking space. Additionally, there is a Walmart and a Starbucks nearby for coffee enthusiasts, as well as a TGIF. It's worth mentioning that there is a shopping center behind the hotel with several restaurants, but they close by 11:30pm. Right beside the hotel, there is an exceptionally exquisite Brazilian steakhouse, which, based on my research, costs around $90 to $120 per person in US dollars. This includes drinks, food, desserts, and a VIP experience.

Guess it is one of the most unsatisfying Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in the past 9 years. The wifi is extremely poor here, often disconnected. As the gold member, the parking is not free!! Most importantly, the room is too small, no laundry bag, pool is under renovation, but the price is the same, or higher than most of North American Hampton Inn.

We arrived Sunday Afternoon and they were able to accommodate us for an early noon check in however the front desk girl doing check in did NOT inform us they were painting and remodeling rooms on our floor. We could smell paint fumes all day and they were steam cleaning the carpets until about 6 pm which is very noisy. There are also no face towels in the room and only two bath towels in a double room. We rented two rooms and both rooms had problems. One room didn't have an iron and when we called downstairs for one they never brought it up. The other room didn't have a functioning safe nor did the refrigerator work as it was iced up. One of the light fixtures at the bed was shorting out. Breakfast is pretty non existent if you are vegetarian there no options besides cereal and fruit. Yogurt is not individually packaged. I am happy they had lactose free milk which was nice but other than that a very basic set up. Not a repeat stay even for the proximity to the airport which was the only redeeming quality of this hotel. #hamptonhilton #hamtoninnbyhilton

35 minutes from Cancun Airport, excellent service, very nice and clean rooms super value. They hay free breakfast and complementary shuttle to the airport, which was very appreciated because taxis are expensive. Recommended location

I stayed for business. I found the hotel comfortable and very convenient. It's located in a shopping area and in front of a posh neighborhood. Newer building. My only note is that at one point police arrived but I'm not sure why... I witnessed some sort of standoff from my window. First it was Quintana Roo local police and then the armed Federal Police arrived. This could shock non-locals but it did not affect the stay.

My family and I stayed here after our flight home got cancelled. We chose not to stay with any of the hotels/ inns offered by the airline. Overall this hotel was good. Rooms are small and bathrooms are very small and zero water pressure, but the room was clean. Also in a good location, about 20mins from the airport and restaurants close by. Also a Walmart express within walking distance. The front desk was helpful in booking us a taxi for the next day to the airport, which arrived on time. Would recommend if you're going to stay a short time.

It was uncomfortable that they don’t have the shuttle from airport to hotel. Only hotel to airport shuttle is available. But the room was neat and manager was always kind. Easy to approach to mall and restaurants.

Always can count on a Hampton Inn! No matter the location! Great room, staff was friendly. Good location for a one night stay as we used it for before heading out!
