IF
I
COULD
RATE
THIS
HOTEL
a
0
I
WOULD.
Where
should
I
begin?
My
family
and
I
wanted
to
visit
Cancun
for
our
uncle's
50th
Birthday.
The
scheduling
of
the
shuttle
from
the
Airport
is
horrible,
they
transfer
you
to
a
call
center
in
Argentina,
where
the
customer
service
is
lousy
and
disrespectful.
Anyways,
part
of
the
crew
ended
up
arriving
earlier
at
the
hotel,
and
most
of
us
ended
up
arriving
at
Cancun
probably
around
4
pm.
By
the
time
we
wanted
to
check
in
with
my
husband,
we
were
tired
and
hungry
and
it
was
past
check-in
time.
We
wanted
to
explore
the
city,
take
a
tour,
enjoy
a
meal
at
the
hotel
restaurant,
or
have
some
tacos.
WHATEVER
activity
we
could
do
because
guess
what?
WE
WERE
ON
VACATION.
When
you
check
in
to
the
hotel
they
FORCE
you
to
receive
a
"tour"
and
welcome
meeting
that
ends
up
lasting
around
45
minutes
to
one
hour.
We
told
the
lady
that
was
at
the
counter
at
that
time,
that
we
only
wanted
to
check
in,
and
that
the
"tour
and
welcome
meeting"
could
be
rescheduled
after
we
left
our
bags
and
had
a
bite.
She
was
very
rude
and
told
us
we
could
not
get
our
KEY
ROOM
UNLESS
WE
SPOKE
WITH
THE
HOTEL
EXPERIENCES
MANAGER.
This
was
the
worst
person/customer
service
I
have
ever
dealt
with.
His
name
was
Lyft
or
something
like
that.
In
a
very
rude
tone,
he
said
to
my
husband
you
will
not
waste
my
time,
and
you
can't
even
go
to
the
restaurant
because
it's
closed,
so
there
you
go,
you
HAVE
to
take
the
tour
and
welcome
meeting.
My
husband
being
the
person
that
he
is,
refused
to
receive
the
talk
and
said
we
instead
were
leaving
our
bags
and
going
to
a
taqueria
right
across
the
street.
Again,
the
lobby
personnel
said
that
they
would
not
provide
our
key
unless
we
took
the
tour
and
subscribed
ourselves
to
a
welcome
talk
the
next
morning.
Up
to
this
point,
we
felt
desperate
so
we
agreed
to
disagree,
we
left
our
bags
at
the
counter
and
left
to
grab
a
bite.
When
we
came
back,
they
said
too
late.
you'll
have
to
take
the
tour
and
talk
tomorrow
morning
at
8
AM.
SHARP.
FAIL
to
comply
with
this
you
will
each
have
to
pay
$399.
It
seems
like
when
you
book
with
this
hotel
you
have
to
READ
THE
SMALL
LETTERS.
When
you
agree
to
book
with
them
you
are
forced
to
take
a
sales
talk
that
lasts
4
HOURS
so
your
vacation
day
number
one
IS
RUINED.
We
had
to
go
to
another
hotel,
to
listen
to
a
salesperson
FORCING
YOU
to
accept
a
membership
most
tourists
don't
need.
THEY
FORCE
YOU
LITERALLY
TO
TAKE
THIS
SALES
CONFERENCE
THAT
LASTS
MORE
THAN
3
HOURS.
Which
is
absurd!!!!
BECAUSE
AGAIN,
YOU
ARE
ON
VACATION.
not
only
they
threatened
us
to
take
the
talk
but
said
failing
to
comply
with
this
aside
from
paying
$399
we
would
lose
our
Islas
Mujeres
tour.
SO
AGAIN,
THEY
FORCE
YOU.
Not
to
mention
that
this
experience
was
bad
enough,
the
ROOMS
ARE
WAY
OVERPRIZED
AND
the
building
is
old.
They
gave
us
the
worst
room
which
felt
like
punishment
just
because
we
were
the
crowd
refusing
to
attend
the
event.
The
restaurant
lacks
creativity,
EVERY
MORNING
you
would
have
the
same
breakfast
all
over
again,
don't
even
get
me
started
on
LUNCH!
the
only
person
we
ended
up
being
appreciated
getting
to
know
was
JORGE
the
bartender.
This
person
was
the
only
one
that
felt
like
a
human
being
at
this
hotel.
He
was
kind,
and
he
was
very
hospitable.
The
other
bartenders
were
rude,
and
sometimes
it
felt
like
begging
for
a
shot
of
tequila
(ABSURD
BECAUSE
IT'S
ALL
INCLUSIVE).
The
first
day
of
our
tour
was
wasted
in
this
talk,
which
they
tell
you
is
not
mandatory
(
and
it
is).
We
had
only
three
days
to
enjoy
CANCUN
and
this
hotel
ruined
all
of
our
experience.
Working
for
the
hospitality
business
makes
me
understand
you
can't
force
clients
to
do
what
you
want.
Offer
them
incentives,
offer
them
options,
be
kind,
and
have
top-notch
customer
service.
THIS
HOTEL
LACKS
EVERYTHING
YOU
CAN
POSSIBLY
THINK
OF.
I
am
sure
that
my
experience
was
not
the
only
one
that
was
ruined
that
day.
Shame,
would
not
recommend
it
at
all.
This
felt
like
an
entire
waste
of
money.
