The hotel is really clean. The room was spacious however the customer service is so inconsistent! As well the food was horrible. Out of the 4 restaurants I would just recommend the Japanese. Also the bartenders at the pool bar are extremely rude and if you speak Spanish forget it you won’t get any service. Our group is from Texas and we are bilingual so we thought that if we spoke Spanish everything will be better. Huge mistake. They seem to be interested in only providing good customer service for everyone else except Mexicans. The only person that was super nice at the pool and provided us with exceptional service was Alex. Also one night we decided to go out kind of late I guess 10:30 pm and there were no taxis at the hotel. So we asked if they can call a taxi for us and they said no. So we had to figure out how to get a taxi by ourselves and when the taxi arrived he said that the hotel could just use the radio and request one. Not sure as to why they would say no. I honestly feel like we overpaid for the stay. We won’t be coming back and I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope this review helps someone.

Stayed at this hotel in mid September for my sons first birthday and it was amazingly nice. From the cocktails to the restaurants, and entertainment.. everything was great. I really enjoyed the Japanese and Mexican restaurant, those enchiladas were so so good!! The buffet being the least of my favorites. Unfortunately, my wife’s Pandora bracelet and wedding ring was stolen from our room but I guess that was our fault for forgetting to utilize the safe that day… PLEASE USE THE SAFE EVERY TIME YOU STEP OUT THE ROOM!!! People can’t keep their hands to themselves. If this incident wouldn’t had happen, the trip maybe would have been a 10/10!

Overall good resort. Rooms were a little outdated but clean. Bed was super comfy. Waterfall shower was amazing. Food was a hit or miss, they had different options everyday. Service was good. Beach and swimming pools were clean. Entertainment was lacking a little.

Here are some things to know before staying here. The location and entertainment is great. Beautiful beach, drinks are cold, all is well there. The first issue has to deal with the food. The only food you have access to until 5:00pm is the buffet. The buffet food is not pleasant in any form or fashion. There was salmon that had been sitting out for so long it began to turn brown. The room itself was fine besides every outlet was so loose it was near impossible to charge a phone or other electronics. The morning of our departure we went down to the buffet to get something to eat because that is all that’s available. Upon returning to our room our key card no longer worked. We had to have room service let us back into the room to get our bags. So we grabbed our bags and went down to the lobby to wait for transportation. I proceeded to the front desk to ask about the check out process and was greeted with hostility from Tina at the front desk saying that they needed to cut off my wristband for the all inclusive access. We then spoke with Ira ‘management’. Ira was able to explain the checkout procedures to us in a not so rude manner. However upon asking for the general managers info to voice how we were treated differently once again and gave us a general complaint email. I am giving this hotel stay a 2 out of 5. If you don’t need to eat before 5 or care about being locked out of your room or treated poorly by the front desk staff/management. This might be the place for you.

The beaches were very nice. The servers/bartenders had a great attitude. Housekeeping did great and visited often. The only option for food is the buffet for breakfast and lunch and it was not impressive. The Italian restaurant had a few menu options but also were not impressive. Breakfast is an absolute madhouse in the mornings and the options were very basic American, then in a small section there was food that looked like it came from the dinner buffet the night before. When we went to the next buffet for lunch, there was more variety but even the food that was sitting under the lamps, were lukewarm at that. It’s not appetizing when you get a piece of beef that you expect to be hot, only to be surprised that its boarder line cold. We had a rainy day while we were there and wanted to catch Bingo that they were hosting. After arriving to the area and asking multiple staff where to find it, we never came across it, so we figured we could do painting since it started at the same time. Went to the painting area, only to be welcomed by a closed sign. We were a bit disappointed that this limited our free time even more. We weren’t entirely bummed that this hotel wasn’t completely for us until our checkout day. This experience alone is the factor on why we will never return to this property. We went down on checkout day at 9am to grab some breakfast because check out is at noon. When we came back to our room, our keys no longer worked and had to ask housekeeping to let us in so we could finalize packing and move our way to the lobby. Once downstairs my husband asked to checkout and they immediately wanted to cut our resort bracelets off, which I told him no because I’d like to use the facilities since we have an hour and a half left until our pick up for the airport. I’d like to still get food or drinks if we need to before we leave. So we went and sat down, minding our own business. Next thing we know, Alex the bellhop, is walking towards us and approached us with open scissors asking to cut off our bracelets. We said no thanks we are not ready to check out yet and asked to speak with a manager (mind you we are sitting down while this is happening) . Ira comes over with Alex and I said ‘thank you, we will speak to her about the issues we’re having’ and he responds with a big smile and laughing and says to me while he’s looking at my husband (my husband is now standing so he can speak with Ira) Alex says “I need to be here in case someone wants to start a fight, I’ve seen some crazy stuff here at the hotel”. My husband and I are so calm because we just wanted to get a better understanding of why we were locked out of our room before checkout and why they were so desperate to cut off our bands. If Alex or the manager felt so threatened by us, they should’ve called security or another manager and not the bellhop. Alex then leaves after about 1 minute of listening to our conversation because it turns out, surprisingly, no one wanted to fight anyone. Ira explained to us their policy that Tina, the front desk agent, was not able to explain because she was uneducated on the matter. I asked Ira for the Director of the hotel’s information and as she’s behind the front desk, Tina, her coworker and Ira are back there smiling and laughing with each other while Tina and her coworker are staring at us. We were not in a laughing matter and felt very disrespected at this point. Ira comes back with a generic card holding no information regarding what I politely asked for and after asking again, she finally wrote down Pamela’s name and a generic complaints email address. We ended our conversation there. We tried to keep our complaints strictly to the manager and in private but when we left it felt like our entire experience here was not genuine. The front desk are the first and last people we see on this trip and it started great with the welcome but ended terribly with the goodbyes

The staff is amazing. They are very kind and there to help you with any doubts or bring you a drink by the pool. Customer service is a 10/10. The food is delicious! There is a great assortment of food items to choose from and restaurants. You will always find something to eat that is of your liking. The only food that isn't good is the one served outside by the pool. The rooms are decent, but I did expect them to be a little nicer considering the price and hotel rating. The spa is not included and overpriced. You can find cheaper spas outside the hotel. The entertainment is phenomenal! They are great at getting the vibe going and performing.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic. It's the single reason I would consider returning. They were very attentive and accommodating. Although this hotel had tons to eat, I really didn't enjoy the food much, not even breakfast. I found the restaurants that were only open in the evenings were the only places I semi enjoyed the food. The room was nice, but the running water in the room had a fowl smell. It was bad. So bad I didn't use the tub because I thought the water would make me sick. The beach and pools were fantastic. Like I said before the staff, pool, and beach were great, but, if you're a foodie like me, this place may not be what you're looking for.

Came here on our honeymoon and had THE BEST TIME! Liz at the front desk and Alex in the lobby were great! Daniels 10 am yoga classes were the unexpected surprise I didn’t know I needed! Jessi at the spa gave the most relaxing massage!! AND we have a fabulous jacuzzi on our balcony!! This was our first trip ever to Mexico and it was just perfect from start to finish!

Having reading those bad reviews for this hotel that got me worrying, however this is not the case, i even tested myself leaving money In the room and they only took what they are entitled for the house keeping which I put on the bed separately. one morning I was having breakfast and my money dropped out of my pocket and one of the staff saw it and picked it up and returned to me. And for the foods I can’t comment on it as everyone got a different taste, however they are 5 different restaurant and a buffet to choose from I’m sure you will find something that suit your taste. I find it all foods are nice without a question. The staffs work very hard to keep this place nice and you can see them constantly cleaning around the hotel. And I saw the staffs go beyond to serve you.( please tips them as they work very hard to keep this place nice for you to have a nice holidays, it doesn’t have to be much I only tips 20 peso for the waitress as I can and 50 peso for house keeping). As for the room you get what you paid for, I was staying at the villa so my room is bigger than other room in the building. ( If you have question about the villa room you can ask question here and I will try my best to reply). Now the beach, as for the hotel beach, there is the big rock in the middle because of this the beach get separate into 2 small beach. If you want the view of the long sandy beach just walk to their sister hotel RIU next door only a few steps ( 5 steps 😂) away and you get a nice long sandy beach.

The resort was good in terms of amenities and facilities. The servers and bartenders were great in fulfilling the asks. But had below downsides: 1. It had limited vegetarian options. whatever veg option it had, they were close to non veg items and peoples used same tongs/forks to pick. Not to forget the strong smell in the common areas. Some of the items seems reused from breakfast to lunch to dinner. 2. It didn't had any Indian dishes in menu. It was nightmare for Indian vegetarian families. 3. The kids activities were very limited. Once 4-5 activities per day that to only one hour for each activity. There was no bulk slot activity like we had in cruise. 4. The coffee shop doesn't open until 9 am. that makes no sense when coffee / tea is needed mostly during morning time. 5. The pool activity like Bingo and other lacked coordination. The guy was didn't explain the rule and people started playing Bingo out of 3 cards provided, when it should one out of 3 for 3 games. Hence we lost the slots. 6. The major issue was with airport transport. we weren't helped with cab to airport when we had confirmed and validate the same a day before. The font desk and the manager only pretended to help us. We had to shell out 200$ for 4 family given the time crunch. Wont recommend!

My experience at this hotel started off disappointing and only got worse over the course of the 4 days I was here. Our toilet didn’t work/flush after the 1st day. I spoke to the front desk twice about the issue and it never got fixed. I opened the toilet tank and the chain inside the tank was broken so the toilet wasn’t able to work without using your hand to lift the function inside the tank. Our ceiling fan also didn’t work. The key card system doesn’t work well, according to the front desk. Your key cards will become deactivated many times until they change their system. The hallways in this hotel are so hot/humid it’s nauseating. There’s no AC in the hallways or it was broken. The gym is pretty bad, although it does have some things to get you by if you’re looking for some sort of exercise. The food options were atrocious at all the restaurants. Not to mention you’ll have trouble even getting seated if you have a larger party. This hotel is one that has unlimited burgers, hot dogs, French fries for your options and they are sitting for hours. I wouldn’t give this food away to the homeless it’s such poor quality. The drinks were watered down, but thats expected. At no point did I feel like the people working here were going out of their way to make us feel welcomed or special. Many of the employees seemed very apathetic to be here working. I stayed at a couple other all-inclusive resorts in Mexico where the experiences were much better in all aspects. We selected this place because it was cheaper and we needed to accommodate budgets for 14 people. I will say when it comes to Mexico, you get what you pay for. This should really be a 3 star restaurant for what’s offered. I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, nor will I come back.

Best All inclusive resort with hospitable staff, Importantly I lost my phone in breakfast lobby, had no hope to get it back. Very honest staff who handed over to front desk. I wanted to personally thank that person but graciously accepted thanks without any monetary offer. great experience staying there. will visit again

We just came back from a 6 day stay here and although the resort itself is beautiful, the room's basic maintenance needs some work. The AC in our room was broken and I alerted the front desk 3 times over 3 days and they never took a look at it until day 3 which caused 2 sleepless nights in the hot weather. Finally they sent someone who took a look and determined the AC is broken and can't be fixed and gave us another room (which also had some problems). Also the jacuzzi wasn't working, the power outlets were loose, shower doors didn't close properly, etc. All the basic things you'd expect to work were clearly neglected as they focus more on decor and the common areas than the dated rooms. The best part of the hotel is the staff at the bards and restaurants who are super friendly and helpful. I cannot say the same about the front desk staff as instead of trying to answer our questions or concerns they always seemed to try to get us away from them as quickly as possible without resolving the issues. Had high expectations with the hotel as we've stayed at other Riu hotels and I'd say this Riu is just a little worse from a facilities standpoint.

    A) Good things about Riu Peninsula Palace Resort: 1. The front desk service for check-in, check-out, changing rooms, and activating room access keys was excellent. 2. The Italian and Japanese restaurants provided excellent dining experiences. 3. Beach bartenders, especially Alex and Bruno, stand out as the best, especially when tipped. B) Concerns at the Resort: 1. Unfortunately, there were instances where some bartenders did not take orders from black people promptly, particularly employee named “MARA” who ignored a drink order. 2. During the Riuland (Riu party), there were issues with bartenders not attending to customers of certain races promptly. A complaint was made to the supervisor, who attempted to address the situation. Recommendation: It is suggested that Riu provides training to its bartenders on zero tolerance for discrimination. All guests, regardless of their background, should receive equal and respectful service. Thank you,

We are just finishing up 5 nights here. It was really wonderful. Did was pretty good (nothing to write home about), but we definitely find something good with each meal. Resort is definitely aging, but they kept it clean and seems well maintained. Only real negatives are that the rooms only have like two usable outlets and the margaritas were really bad (which bummed out my wife). She fine other drinks that were good, but was sad because she was looking forward to the margaritas. Overall the value was incredible, even though I really only drank alcohol 3 days(I don't normally drink).

This was our second time at this resort and probably the last. First of all, I am not sure why they consider this resort a “family friendly resort” when there was absolutely nothing fun to do for kids there. Second, the water smelled absolutely atrocious. Especially the shower and sink water. I had to use bottled water to wash my face and brush my teeth. It smelled like straight up sewer water. The beds were so uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on just a spring. I barely had a good nights rest while I was there for 7 days. And lastly, I do have to give them SOME credit.. they do have a variety of foods at the buffet but the downfall of it, it is SO repetitive. Same food every single day and night. After my 3rd day there, I got tired of eating the same foods. I’m not sure what happened to this resort. My first time was way more pleasurable, but this time. Complete disappointment!!

Everything about this Hotel is perfect except one minor thing. Amazing all you can eat food included in the price from 7 different restaurants. The view is amazing, the location to the beach is amazing. We had a very fun dolphin encounter and an ATV tour through the jungle. The town felt safe. I would give this hotel a 4.5 because even though everything was perfect there was one exception. The bed. While not horrible it was quite difficult to fall asleep. My wife and I both woke up sore the next day. On the next 4 days we just took over the counter pain pills before sleeping and that helped. This place is amazing in every little detail so I'm surprised they haven't updated the place where you spend 33% of your time... The bed..If they update the mattress I would compare this place to Heaven. And the bed still isn't a deal breaker because the service and resort is hands down the best I've ever experienced. I 100% still recommend this place and will be back.

The hotel is nice the rooms can use a deep cleaning in my personal opinion. Beds are a bit lumpy. Location is good you can easily Uber from the airport and around to shopping malls if needed. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. I am vegan so my options are limited. I spoke to the chief and he was extremely nice and pointed out dishes that were vegan friendly. Also if something was needed he would prepare it. Great service. They also have Riu Parties on certain nights of the week Neón Foam, White, and Jungle this was a nice addition from my last visit.

Fantastic experience in every way. Beach and pool were clean and beautiful. Food was amazing, especially the steak house, but we honestly didn't have anything but top notch food everywhere. Parties were an absolute blast. Service was friendly and those people really hustle to make everything run smoothly. Shows were really impressive for a resort. Dancers and singers were very talented. Room was nice--clean and comfortable. I usually don't sleep well away from home, but I had no problems here. Absolutely LOVED the fact that there was plenty to do both at the resort and on outside excursions, but there was absolutely NO pressure--options were explained when requested, but nobody hounded you about anything. So relaxed! I would stay here again with absolutely no hesitation.

We were a party of 4 adults staying in the adult only villas. They were clean, but very dated. It's time the resort update their rooms. The air conditioning worked well, too well. My wife was always cold, even with the extra blanket she found in the closet. If we ever go back to this hotel we won't be booking the villas, it's definitely not worth the extra money. VIP means absolutely nothing here. The pools were great, well maintained. The beach was really nice too, minus the sea grass but there was always a worker cleaning the beach and took to the guests really well. Security on the beach was always a stone throw away. They traveled together in pairs and were always on the lookout for security risks, they even drove down the beach on 4wheelers every few hours. The food was decent, and a lot of selection. I'm sure there is something for everyone. Be careful with contamination if you have sensitivities - this is high risk for sure, especially at the buffet. The service was top notch. The servers were always happy to help, were friendly and kind.

Amazing place! The staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Food was great, and the drinks were flowing. The only complaint I have would be the big one-person bathtub, in the middle of the room. No one used it, and I banged my knee on it a couple times. Not a big deal, but just seems a waste of space. All in all, it's a great resort, with amazing staff! Keep up the Good Work!

This is such a beautiful property in an amazing location! Room had a phenomenal view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. The food was amazing particularly the buffett which we enjoyed everyday at least one meal. The only negative comments I can make would be the temperature of the room it was consistently 80 degrees in the room while the common public areas were quite cool. Not very refreshing after a lot of activity on a hot day. The other would be the room only has one working power outlet. This may be just the room we were in, but not very convenient. Maintenance tried to fix it but ended up killing power to half the hotel. We are booking a trip back to Cancun and will happily staying here again. I just hope some of my negatives are addressed so I can update my rating to 5 stars which I think such an amazing place with wonderful staff deserves.

Great and Bad experience: -Food are good , a lot of selection . Repetitive everyday though. - The beds and pillow were so uncomfortable, my neck hurts so much , it was like sleeping on just a spring. I barely had a good nights rest while I was there for 5 days. - No bathrobe / no disposable room slippers provided unlike other 4.5 star hotels - Ocean view is excellent - facilities like pool , spa / gym is good - Kids wont enjoy the kids center facility unlike other hotel . No much options for your kids . Small / tiny area , nothing inside . Just tables and coloring . - the water smelled absolutely atrocious. Especially the shower and sink water. - hotel are clean - cappuccino bar drinks are good -3 hrs late to check in - towel policy is better - I stayed 5 days . Only one show I liked.

This was our first time to Cancun and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! The check in was seamless and quick and the hotel personnel were friendly and professional. We stayed in the adult only villas and enjoyed the beautiful view of the pool and beach from our balcony. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff treated us like royalty. We never had to wait for anything since they made sure our room was stocked with whatever we needed. The entertainment was amazing as well and the staff did a great job to get everyone to join in. We would definitely recommend this resort and look forward to returning!

Very good meals, which included steaks, lobsters, lamb chops, and other restaurants to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful. Need some maintenance but not enough to take away the 5 stars. Because it's a busy resort, do expect to get a room after 3.

Cancun is so beautiful, I wish the resort did better to enhance the experience. They did not have a room ready for me by check-in time - I had to wait an extra 45 minutes, sore from the flight, to finally get a room. The rooms were clean, but you can tell they were old. The jacuzzi shot out some black residue when I first turned it on and I wish they had a vent in the toilet room. Communication as to how everything worked in the hotel was very, very limited. I was told I had to get reservations to the restaurant, then told the next night that seating was based on a waiting list/buzzer. AC would only be activated if you put your card into the room slot - not communicated. I spent the first night sweating in the humidity with the ceiling fan swinging up the place. This was after I told front staff about the issue - they said I just have to wait an hour for it to turn on. I found out I had to use the keycard to activate the AC from other guests. Service, however, was wonderful - it was what bumped this place up a star. The area is so beautiful, but I'll most likely try another resort next time. Hopefully they will be more helpful.

We went to spend vacation as a family and we found Riu Palace Peninsula as a great option. The service is remarkable , quality of food is very good, and the facility overall offers everything we wanted: great pools, restaurants, white sand and calmed beach… All rooms located in front of the beach . There were activities all the time, for kids and also for adults. Despite this can be classified as a “massive” hotel, you never feel uncomfortable due to many people, because there are several spaces to stay in, and you will always find a seat on the beach, or in front of the pool or anyplace to spend your time, relax and enjoy. I really liked the food (very good quality and variety), and I think it’s the best all inclusive resort I’ve ever been.

This hotel had so many great things. The location is great because it is on the strip, they had a beach area that was nice and some clear water. Came with a group of 8 people. We stayed fri-Tuesday and they had pool parties almost all of those days, they were great. They have specific people who try to remind you about the show so I appreciate that little detail. The only thing that wasn’t that great was the food, a lot of it was okay, personally liked the breakfast the same, I felt the service was better in some restaurants than others . The Mexican restaurant was great! The pools close at 7 pm which was a little of a downer for me but it wasn’t too bad. Overall a great hotel, I would recommend its more for adults.

We stayed here for a week, and just wanted to take the time to call out how excellent the service has been. From the check in/check out staff, to all the restaurant servers, waiters waitresses, bar staff, cleaners etc - everyone went above and beyond and was incredibly helpful. More widely, that was our experience with the Mexican people - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. There was also a wide choice and variety of food, snacks, drinks and entertainment - not to mention excellent facilities re: the beach and pools. Our room also had a nice view and was pleasant - not to mention the great location of the hotel. It was our first experience of an all-inclusive and it was a positive experience for us overall.

First, let's start by saying I would have given this beautiful hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the check-in process. We flew in on the red eye with a group of 16 with 8 rooms reserved. We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 am and the front desk was very friendly they promptly advised us we can start using the hotel accommodations immediately which was great. The one thing they did tell all of us was to check back with them to find out when the rooms would be available. We checked with them a few times but the bottom line is they would not give us our rooms until 3 pm. We didn't want all the rooms early just a few so some of our group could get some rest. The bottom line is honestly don't lead me to believe you're going to let me check early when your not. Maybe offer an early check-in option with a fee.

Our honeymoon stay was very nice. We really appreciated the surprise honeymoon gift the resort staff left for us in our room. The only thing I did not like was that multiple times waiters/servers forgot about our orders and we had to remind them what our order was. Also, the drawers in the room could use a bit of maintenance. They were not the easiest to open and close. Otherwise, everything was great. My wife also really enjoyed her nail treatments by Rosa at the Resort Spa, and our housekeeper was very lovely.

I highly recommend this place especially if it's your first vacation or trip to Cancun. The hotel is exceptionally clean as the staff clean it regularly throughout the day. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Our first day we had an issue with our room but the staff made every effort to accommodate us and we were very pleased with the attention given to us. Plenty of activities to do on the resort and the staff have great recommendations for other activities to really liven up your trip. Every night we've been here there's been an event here at the hotel, including a silent disco, casino night, and trivia! The resort has plenty of pools so none were ever crowded. It's located not far from shopping centers, night life, and other activities that's only a short and inexpensive taxi (or bus) ride away. There's so much positive things I can say that you'll have to experience yourself but I cannot emphasize enough how awesome the staff here is. They will make sure your time here is pleasurable and stress free.

Very nice and clean family resort! Beautiful views. House keeping was amazing. The themed restaurants and buffet were all pretty good. The wait staff were very fast and extremely helpful. We did have an issue with the front desk losing one of our rooms at check in and they were not very helpful or accommodating. Had to get the travel agency involved and they resolved our issues.

This resort was beautiful and clean. i love the simple decor with its colorful accents (especially the purple). The staff is helpful, energetic and friendly. The food is delicious. I also like that they offer fun activities throughout the day. My only issues were that the tv only got one English Channel ( National Geographic)... and you could not use apps. The outlet did not hold your charger in place... unless you got creative and put a soda bottle under the base to hold it in place. And lastly, the shower door did not close all the way, but it wasn't too bad where you could feel the cool air from outside. Otherwise, I would stay here again.

Great place! Amazing beach! But couple things to share: 1. Our number one priority is a beach: The Beach/Water here is great! However...For MANAGEMENT: Please STOP allowing glass beer bottles on the beach. We picked a bag of bottle glass from the water. 2. We loved your coffee shop at the lobby: Hopefully you can re-visit hours of operation as it will be so nice to have a nice cup of cappuccino at 8am on the way to the beach or after a run. It can probably be closed earlier as not many people drink coffee at 10pm, but morning coffee will be a huge bonus! 3. Food at the restaurants needs some improvement! We found that buffet has much better quality then all the restaurants we visited. For example: Steak house: Steak and lobsters were sooo super dry that we could not even have a second bite. This is not a deal breaker for me because buffet is open, available, and has a good options. And just curious: why in the All-Inclusive resort we have to pay to play pool? I would think it will be included. :) Thank you!

Please do not stay here. We stayed 5 nights unfortunately and wanted to check out early so bad but knew we weren’t going to get any money back. We had to pay so much extra money for transportation because they didn’t show up at the airport for day one (helped us in no way resolve the issue) and for our ride back to the airport, we were blamed for missing it since we left the main lobby to quickly grab a coffee/snack (the taxi was already well over 20 minutes late yet lied on paper saying they arrived on time and waited 5 min). There was no tour or warm welcome. The room was dirty and extremely outdated (electrical outlets also didn’t work). Food wasn’t good. There wasn’t much to do or eat past 9pm with restaurants and pools closed at 7pm. Spotted some cockroaches inside and outside the property. There was a random maintenance check that caused electric and water to go out for hours with elevators also down from time to time. Location is prime with being so close to airport and downtown. The private beach was beautiful, but definitely could’ve managed the seaweed better and prioritized more nightlife. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and truly wanted to enjoy everything but the set backs were nonstop to the point where the vacation felt more stressful than relaxing.

June 22 2023 A couple things to know before booking here 1. Food is a 5/10 and you will NOT receive authentic Mexican food near or at this hotel. 2. The pool is lukewarm water and is not as refreshing for the hot heat. 3. All day room service is available 4. Food items and restaurants are all limited to 5-6 food items with the exception of the buffet (which also has the same items daily) 5. All restaurants close at 9:30pm no exceptions. 6. All Spa treatments are separated to the resort ($99-$245) 7. Checkout is at 12pm 8. Check in is at 3pm ( you will wait for the room if you are here earlier no exceptions) 9. Night shows every night 10. Great place overall 6/10. Food and overall customer satisfaction could be better.

The hotel was really beautiful. Might need a little updating on design but still a beauty. Pools were wonderful and the beach is gorgeous. Had a massage during my stay, EXCELLENT! Most of the restaurants were delicious (didn’t like the Mexican one, the food felt blah) and the people are so nice! Trouble checking in, but overall great experience. Plan on coming back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon a few months ago and had an absolutely amazing time here! The rooms are nice and they decorated for our honeymoon and left us champagne and dessert on the second night. The food at the buffet and at the restaurants was really good and the beach is beautiful. I honestly have no complaints about this resort and hope to be back to visit soon.
