Small resort on the beach, great place if you don’t want to do anything. We sat on the beach and relaxed. Front desk was very slow and we were not given the room we requested which meant we moved after first night. Not all rooms had decks large enough to sit on..Food and food service was excellent. They didn’t seem to understand first club memberships( gold bands) and we were often denied better quality drinks. On the whole, nice place and would go back.

WORST RESORT EVER!!! place is nice but FOOD, DRINKS AND SERVICE (front desk and bartenders) ARE THE WORST!! WORST hotel I ever stayed at!!! The drinks had a very strong chemical taste; food was dried out, tasteless, over cooked and unappealing, and the service sucked!! They also have all kinds of ridiculous rules and regulations: ex; when going to the beach, they would only give 1 towel!! You can't have more than one!!!😡 ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT: 1. They stop serving food at buffer at 10pm and at the bar at 11pm, and if you have the audacity to stay outside sitting and talking by the pool area, the literally turned the lights off!!! 2. You can NOT take any food out from the buffet or snack bar, why?? They charge for room service!! 3. You literally can't enjoy some food outside their controlled restaurant. 4. Mexican resort with only 2 brands of tequila, all liquor was bottom shelf and the worst attitude bartenders ever. Our last day, they called our room at 10:20am to tell us we needed to be out by 11am or we will be charged!!!but they couldn't call us to tell us our transportation to the airport came/left. We had an appointment for 10:40am transportation to the airport, but they came at 9:40am instead!! We almost missed our flight back waiting for these ppl. and all along the door man had the paper saying they came early!! You couldn't call us?? Now we had to pay a cab $40 to the airport when we already paid for transportation!!! At checkout, I returned key cards and towel card while my husband is looking for our pick up, they wouldn't check us out until they cut my husband's wristband!! Ridiculous!! All along a very disappointing and dissatisfied experience!! We love Mexico, but Occidental Costa Cancun is really trashing the experience of visiting Mexico.

Pros: Good and quick service. Staff work hard and are helpful. Good drinks. Cons: Don't expect anything fancy. Old building, wifi does NOT work, food variety is very poor for an all inclusive (ex. they were out of black tea for breakfast, no Asian food, etc). Food quality is pretty average for the price they charged. Too many rooms compared to the space of the property. Lobby was extremely crowded and loud until midnight. No high quality Entertainments. If your room is next to the lobby there's no way you can relax in your room until past midnight. In general: if you're looking for a less expensive and hence less fun vacation here's a good option. Next time we will spend a little more to experience higher quality All Inclusive.

Nice adorable resort with a great pool area. Four on-site restaurants, plus a 24 hr snack bar. All rooms have good access to the lobby and pool. The staff was fantastic and so helpful. The beach area is small but does have it's own bar. City bus service is great and can get you downtown for shopping quickly. This place was perfect for the price.

I took my twins to this resort in June to celebrate good grades. I requested they not clean our room due to prior reviews. They cleaned our room anyway. On day 2 my daughter discovered she had $40 missing out her purse. I informed the management and after a little bit of the run around, they refunded me the $40. I felt relieved and didn’t think about anything else. Upon arriving back home and unpacking, we discovered someone had stolen my daughter’s brand new red swimsuit that was a little too big and the reason she didn’t wear it in Cancun, along with some silver hoop earrings. I was so disappointed. In all my years of traveling, I have never experienced stealing from my room. I am beyond disappointed with the resort. I will never go back or recommend this resort. Shame on your staff Occidental!!!!!

The overall experience was satisfactory for this price range. The room was clean and well maintained. The rooms and facilities are not the most modern or luxurious, but that was not a surprise because they were true to the website photos. The 4 restaurants are all genuinely different, but breakfast and lunch are only buffet. The buffet quality is typical of mass prepared food, so it's not particularly impressive but gets the job done. The a la carte restaurants are much better, but the process of waiting in line for a dinner reservation every morning can be frustrating, though it is common for all-inclusives. The bars are also what you would expect if you've stayed at an all-inclusive before. They will default to the cheapest liquor, but you can request an upgrade to the mid-shelf brands; also, the pours are not particularly strong but you can request a double. The pool and beach are both well matched to the size of the resort. They can get crowded, but I never ran into an issue of not being able to find space at all. It's disappointing that there are no adults-only spaces because the energy level can be a bit much if you just want to relax. Relaxation can also be hindered by the constant activities. It feels like there's always someone coming on the microphone to engage the crowd in an activity, game, performance, etc. This can be really fun if that's what you're looking for, but this probably isn't the place if you want a quiet escape.

This resort is definitely a great option for those looking for a cozy and comfortable stay! Firstly, I’m going to be honest, the building is not a new construction so there are a few minor issues you may come across. The outlet in our room was not working, however as soon as we called for assistance, they came right away and fixed it without a hassle. Rooms: The rooms were in a good condition, and we were very comfortable in with the ambience and space. They provided us with enough clean toiletries which was great as well! The rooms are relatively spacious and the balcony view was breathtaking!!! Service: Without a doubt, this place will provide you with great service at any given time. Thankfully, we didn’t need assistance too often but of the very few times we needed it, we were very satisfied with the response. Food/Restaurants: 10/10. Their food options along with the taste and quality of the food is impressive! I’m a very picky eater and I have a hard time finding items like, but there were so many options and I fell in love with every new item I tried. For breakfast, there is only one restaurant you can go to. For lunch, there are options you can choose from. There are three options for dinner, however you MUST make a reservation if you’re planning to go to the fancier restaurants. It’s complimentary of course but since it gets really busy at the time, they are only able to accommodate a certain number of people for dinner. You have to stand on line at 8:30 AM to make a reservation as soon as the reservation window opens at 9. To be completely honest, I tried all the restaurants, but my favorite was the Albatross Buffet Restaurant (this is the only breakfast option). Also, there are events happening all day near the pool (dance, music, etc.) which really starts your day off to a great start if you’re someone that likes to relax by the pool in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this place!

Pleasantly surprised. Our first all-inclusive resort stay. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The facilities were all well maintained and the pool and beach area were spotless and fantastic. My only negative...well sort of negative comment would be about the food. The breakfast buffet and lunches were fine and easily had hours where you would never be shut out from a chance to eat. The three 'restaurant' options for dinner could only be classified, in my opinion only, as average. Also, they are small and must be reserved asap each morning in order the get a reservation. The Italian and seafood spots were the best in my opinion. However, we were lucky to have great service in all eateries and a special thank you to our server on several nights - Iyaly C. for her notable service, warmth and suggestions!

Our experience at this resort was OK. Could definitely use improvement in some areas. Our check in and check out was very slow and long. The lobby was full and it took a very long time to check people in. They could use a better system for checking people in and out. Very old school. They should also greet people with beer or champagne to make it more pleasant while waiting over an hour to check in and traveling for over 6 hours to get there. Also, transportation is pricey to get from and to the airport. Most resorts include shuttle service but not this one. We had to pay $70 (including $10 tip) each way. No one in our party got the room they requested. We had 4 couples and we got 2 full size beds which were super tiny. This was also very disappointing. The buffet and restaurants closed at 10pm which seems a bit early. You do have to make EARLY reservations if you want to eat at the other 2 restaurants or you will not get in. We were able to get into the seafood restaurant 1 night and had a great experience with Josue De Lucio and the waiter that was training him (didn't get his name) They were very attentive, made suggestions, and gave us top notch service. Probably the most enjoyable experience at this resort. The 2 bars they have closed at 11pm which is very early especially on a Friday and Saturday. We were bored at night because there wasn't anything to do and we weren't sure where to go since there wasn't anything within walking distance for night entertainment. The entertainment could use some improvement. Should make people want to stay there because they're having so much fun. Pool was nice and clean. Premises were pretty clean overall. Most of the staff was very friendly. .

I went for a Day pass all inclusive. The pool and entertainment were good, drinks were small but fortunately refill. Food however was slightly underwhelming in quality and you are forced to stick to their schedules because they start packing up everything 30 minutes before they close

The beach at this resort is absolutely amazing, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy water activities such as paddle boarding. While it is worth noting that gratuities are expected for most services, the exceptional level of service provided by the staff makes it easy to show appreciation for their hard work. It is important to note, however, that the service desk does offer timeshare sales pitches. While this may not be for everyone. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Their friendly and accommodating. It's very easy to get to all the attractions. The rooms are a bit dated, but for the price, you can't bet it. And even though it's an all-inclusive resort, they try to sell a lot of upgrades, which is not always bad but overwhelming of the amount.

Such a great hotel for the price. The workers including Israel & Alfredo are such a joy and help whenever they can, doing the most. This hotel is full of fun, activities constantly throughout the day and night. Now if you’re like me and are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing a pair of earplugs, especially if you’re a daytime napper. Food is okay considering it’s a buffet. I never had a chance to check out the restaurants on site. Overall a very fun, clean, and inclusive hotel. Would definitely come back.

It is not a fancy resort or hotel but very kind & warm place to me. All working people are kind and the bar was nice. You should reserve dinner restaurant very quickly or you will have buffet all day. Private beach was also good.

Overall, a lovely hotel. They provided quite a lot of activities like Bingo, Water Volley or even Karaoke, so if you plan to enjoy a day at the hotel, you'll still have things to keep you busy. The pool, birds and beach were an extremely nice touch. I loved waking up every morning to take a peek at the cute birds or just walking along the beach line. The hotel also suggested many other activities we could do outside (e.g, day trips, scuba diving) which we really appreciated. Another thing that really stood out to me was how kind all the staff were. The waiters, the cleaners, even the gardening people were super welcoming and always gave a smile. We also didn't have much trouble with the restaurant reservation process either. However, the times for each restaurant were quite unclear and often confusing. This didn't draw away from the experience though. Although, what we were kind of upset about were the bugs. Our room, unfortunately, had tiny little ants in the safe box — we didn't realize it was even coming from the safe as the bugs were pretty much around the room. However, they did spray pesticides so this wasn't a bother afterward. When we were seated at the buffet, our indoor table was also crawling with tiny ants. Despite the ants, I still believe this hotel deserves 5 stars for all its effort. I really enjoyed my time here and I do wish to come back next time. Everybody here made me smile and I couldn't have asked for more.

The resort is fine. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little shabby, but that is expected for the price. What was not expected was that a hotel advertised as all-inclusive with alcohol and food would require standing in line for reservations for restaurants, and only serving alcohol between noon and midnight. The resort posts multiple signs saying they cannot serve alcohol outside these hours. However, that is nonsense, the law clearly states that hotels and resorts do not have to abide by this. Further, they should not advertise as "all-inclusive" with regards to alcohol without stating outside of noon-midnight. The reservation system for restaurants is terrible and frustrating. You are required to make reservations for the restaurants at 8:30am. But often they do not begin until 8:45, there is no indication of where the lines form, staff give conflicting information one where the lines are for which restaurant, and it is a giant confusing mess. I am enjoying my stay, but will certainly not stay here again. There is nothing wrong with cost-saving measures, but they are introduced very sneakily.

I would not recommend this place. There are other resorts in Cancun that are better I am sure. The snack bar had stale food, no vegetarian options even though they advertised that there will be. The front desk has horrible customer service. The towel card rule is ridiculous. I would stay at the Aqua World resort. I think that is a better resort.

This place is amazing! The place is clean everywhere you look, I always saw someone keeping things neat and tidy. All the staff is friendly, when we first arrived we was quickly greeted and our bags was taken to be sanitized. The buffet was amazing and the food was great. There was always someone coming to the pool area making sure we was good on drinks. The rooms was nice and super clean, someone came every morning for cleaning service and to restock the fridge. It felt like heaven there. I would definitely come back and or recommend to other people. My only complaint is that you have to come down to the lobby at 9am everyday to make reservations for the seafood, Mexican or Italian restaurants and if you didn’t get downstairs in time, you’ll be stuck with the buffet. I wish there was a way to book reservations online rather than trying to wake up early after being up late at night enjoying any activities.

The check in process was lengthy and the mixed drinks very light on alcohol, those are the only two negatives. The resort is very clean, our room was cleaned daily and that was nice. The staff working here is why I give five stars. They all work very hard and are pleasant and provide excellent customer service. I would return for that reason alone. We ate at the albatross buffet for most of our meals and found it to be more than satisfactory. A lot of choices, fresh fruits and vegetables. Many authentic Mexican foods. We did dine at the three restaurants on site, and by far our favorite was Mexican Linde. The seafood and Italian restaurants were just OK. The activities staff had planned activities starting at 10am. They were excellent and a lot of fun!

Excellent resort , staff was quick to attend to our needs and very friendly. Nice small beach , large pool with aquatic volleyball. 2 bars one on the beach and one in the lobby by the pool. Nice open air feeling and the rooms were clean. Cons: Food was lacking in much spice and seemed to all taste the same. The 3 restaurants available are not easy to book and require in person bookings starting at 9:00 am every day. If you're not there early you are not likely to get a table. Alcohol is only available till 11:00 pm. If you don't like boat traffic there is a ton for it

This isn't the best place for a honey moon but it was still fun. Food was okay. Service is excellent when you treat them well (hint: tip). Most annoying thing is having to wake up to make a reservation for a restaurant. If you don't make it then you're stuck with American food and okay buffet. When ordering food it doesn't matter how you order it, it will always come the same way. The beach was clean and well kept but a bit small to accommodate guests. Pool was excellent. Room service was great. NEVER get a room on the bottom floor. We had to change rooms to ensure it was quiet for us. This is more of a place to party and not for luxury. Wouldn't return for that reason alone.

This place was good , The rooms were super clean, the service in the restaurant was great. The buffet and the three à la carte Restaurants, great experience great food great service. The area was safe to walk. Me and my wife took the bus to the shopping stores to the local businesses. You can take the ferry to Isla Mujeres right behind the hotel. Every employee at the hotel was very friendly and provided great service. The price was actually really good compared to the other places there. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice small hotel for a few nights. Not the place to stay and enjoy the beauty of the Cancun beach because the beach access is small has rocks and there are boats going in and out the canal on the side. Overall, a nice cozy place to enjoy the all inclusive experience for a few days.

  • 5/5 T 2 years ago on Google
The people that work here are so helpful and so nice. The rooms are beautiful and the pool area is clean and relaxing. There are shows and music that play in the afternoons in the evenings. Food-wise, the buffet is hit-or-miss, but the Italian restaurant was my favorite. There's also a snack corner on the floor above the lobby where there's food available 24/7, and a concierge to book excursions where you get picked up and dropped off right at the hotel. The only con of is this place is that if your room is right by the stage it'll be very loud while there's a show going on oh, and you have a room on the first floor you may be bothered by the sounds of people walking by, but you could just request a room on a higher floor when you book. I really enjoyed my stay here!

The food at the buffet was much better than expected. We've stayed at larger occidental hotels in the past, and the food and service were lacking. I think the fact that this is a smaller resort helps in so many ways. The service was great. Everyone was very happy to be there. The best was nice, a little small but perfect for a shorter stay. I was also pleasantly surprised how nice the gym/workout area was. Really enjoyed our stay. If you are planning a longer stay I would recommend a different part of Cancun. Farther south the beaches are nicer and endless.

Overall this hotel is nice. I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights/6 days. My room was facing the back which I was able to switch to a poolside. I was happy about that. I dislike the food at the buffet but the Italian restaurant was amazing , you need a dinner reservation . There is no beach , the water is cold and the pool is cold. The activities and the entertainment staff are great . They made the stay more enjoyable.

I would taste this place higher but a few things to note. The beach is ok, unfortunately the ferry stop is right next to it so you constantly get the exhaust fumes while it's docked. Bar service can be slow, but they are good. The food is ok, definitely stick to the buffet and the Mexican restaurant. Need to upgrade the Italian option; didn't go to the seafood place. The activities are fun and led by energetic people. Service overall was pretty good. The Wi-Fi is spotty. The pool is not deep and hard to do laps, but otherwise really good and had a section for really young kids. The room was nice. Definitely upgrade to the ones with outdoor balconies, which have hammocks. Easy to get to and from the airport.

We went to Occidental Costa for a long weekend stay this past weekend. The staff was amazing to us. The entertainment team (Sheyla especially) made every day by the pool so fun and interactive! They have 3 a la cart options. We had Mexican. It was really good. This resort is a smaller one with only 1 pool and a small beach area. But for the price...it was all well worth it! Would definitely go back!

This place is terrible. I came here right before the pandemic hit. Nothing but old people at this resort and only one buffet and bar. Service was trash. These google reviews are such a joke. It is not a 4 star either. 3 star at BEST

Just arrived today, horrible start. Front desk team in complete disarray, very unfriendly. My reservation was confirmed for 2 connecting rooms. After waiting and waiting and waiting, I was finally told that 1 room was ready the other was not. Also, no connecting room. When you are traveling with minors, one of the deciding factors was a connecting room. Totally unacceptable. Not sure how barcelo does business, but definitely felt like a bait and switch. There was no effort to rectify this issue. The only bright spot was Patricia from concierge desk. She understands the value of customer service. Other than that, front desk should undergo customer service training because they are the front face of the hotel, and I’m sure this is not the quality that Barcelo boasts.

A great place to stay! They have games, plenty of food, and great friendly staff! The reviews speak pretty truly to our experience there. The area seemed pretty safe (2021) despite some previous concerns. We were also told that because covid, the resort was shut down March 2020- March 2021. Overall, very positive experience and would go again. There's more expensive resorts if you want, and cheaper resorts as well, but this resort fit all the right needs for a great get away/wedding/place to go to Mexico and relax!

Proses : Excellent resort staff sonas waiters and waitresses. I rate them 10/10. Food was good so as drinks. All bar tenders were very courteous. Cons: Extremely longer check-in time and the staff at check in are not guest friendly ☹️. The lobby has no air conditioning. At lest sufficient fans should have been installed. Housekeeping was irregular.

Overall great experience. From when we checked in with Gustavo, very informative and fast. Bartenders made the drinks so good and strong especially Gerardo. In the buffet Pepe was our waiter and he was very friendly and knew how to welcome us very well. Amenities are great. They were also good on security on only guests being aloud! This is the 3rd hotel I’ve stayed in Cancun and so far my favorite.

  • 2/5 Brent W. 9 months ago on Google
This place was underwhelming. Even at 58% off, it was barely of value. The front desk was painful to deal with and there were issues with our room being unprepared, and jot the correct room. The buffet is okay and the servers and bartenders are great. There's no nightlife here and the place oddly switches to beer at the bar around 10. I wouldn't suggest going here if you are single or looking for a party.

My husband and I have stayed here a few different occasions. We enjoy ourselves each time. Exceptional customer service, good food options. It's more of a party vibe so if you're looking to relax & have quiet time you may not like it. They have fun events and games at the pool . They have concerts and shows right on the resort. We love to party so the vibe is always righteous. Rooms are decent & they are constantly sanitizing. And the price is pretty great too. Planning another trip for December of 2022. Love it!

resort is definitely not 4+ stars. Food is a little worse than what you’d expect at an all inclusive. The buildings are very old but the reason for the low stats are because of the staff. They simply do not care. Bar will say it’s open till 11 but they’ll stop serving at 10:30. Front desk workers were not pleasant. Even entertainment seemed like they didn’t care whether you’re there or not. Even with a good tip, they weren’t much nicer. The location of the hotel is great however it is absolutely tiny

It is a nice hotel. Honestly it looked bigger in photos but that was okay. It had everything we needed and the location was good at the hotel zone. The staff is so friendly, however the check-in process was so slow. We arrived around 11:30 am and we didn't get our room until 3:30 pm. The best and most helpful person is Ricardo. He gave us a lot of helpful info and was always happy to help. The food is not the best to be honest. We were all inclusive, but the buffet quality wasn't good at all. The beach is small but nice. The animation team was good as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. Would recommend the hotel for sure but not all inclusive.

My daughter went here on spring break 2023. The place was small and remote away from the strip of hotels. The ocean view was roped off due to boats coming into a marina. The beach was smaller. They were able to move resorts by the same owner down the strip which was bigger, the beach and view were better. You have to stand in line wee hours of the morning at the front desk to get a decent restaurant reservation. Most of the time ended up eating at the buffet which wasn’t great. Another complaint was they did not serve alcohol until noon and stopped serving at 11pm. There is no nightlife on the resort. They only gave them one bottle of water each a day. When they called and asked for more the staff told them to drink tequila. My daughter and her group all got sick and had stomach issues. Will not go back. Book at a better place. You get what you pay for. I feel like they take advantage of these kids on spring break.

This resort was lovely. I see that the resort is a four star however I would disagree with this rating. The food was exceptional, the service and cleanliness of the resort was outstanding. The pool was a lovely size, the beach was nice and we enjoyed seeing the boats from the marina. Activities were fun however the events at night were not stellar, watch where your room is as the music is pretty loud, the good thing is the music is over at 10:00 pm. The staff should all be rated a five star as well. The staff would continuously, they are extremely personable and go above and beyond for all of the guests at the resort. Definitely check this resort out.

We had such a great time staying at this resort! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. We became friends with quite a few of them! The bartenders were fast and made good drinks. The waitresses would walk around the pool & beach areas and bring drinks all day long. There is a pool area with a bar and then a private beach area with bar. The beach area is so nice with it being private. Our room had a balcony with hammock and gorgeous view of the ocean. There were 3 restaurants and a separate buffet as well as a 24 hour snack bar. They have plenty of activities throughout the day and evening.

The staff was VERY friendly and the food was delicious. We had a great time and enjoyed the private beach, the pool and live music. We also took advantage of the fact that the bus station was very close and took the bus to other beaches in cancun. Definitely recommend this place.

The resort is pretty small compared to others in Cancun which is something we liked. Me and my boyfriend stay from May 16 to May 20 and we had a great time. They gave us a better room because ours wasn’t ready which was already a great start. There are 4 restaurants, and 3 are reservations only which is kinda of annoying because you need to down to the lobby before 8 to get in line to get a spot, and there aren’t many spots. Other restaurant is buffet. The food is pretty good, there were some things we didn’t like but others that were very good, especially at the Italian and Mexican restaurant. There’s also a snack bar open 24h. The pool is nice and there’s almost always some activities going on. The beach is very small but clean and nice. The only downside is that there are boat passing by and stopping right next to the hotel which can be annoying if you’re tying to relax. The peace of water you can access and swim is also very small. The personnel is always available to get your drinks (because they need tips). They’re also always cleaning and we didn’t see anything dirty left behind. Our room was very nice, AC works great, always clean and they’re always refilling the mini bar (part of the all-inclusive). We didn’t have any issues with people trying to sell you things or having you sign up for things like others said. Overall, for the price, this is a great place to stay for a couple days, however I don’t think I would spend more than 5/6 days there

Their was extremely loud music on a Saturday night right by my hotel room and I couldn't even sleep. They only had one pool also. You had to wear your masks everyone or else they refuse their service to you- EVEN BREAKFAST! The room was large and spacious. I recommend Ocean view. Also, it was a nightmare with transportation if you book it online in advance. All of the additional activities that you want to do you have to pay for all of them as well as for the photos.

This resort is GREAT! My daughter enjoyed herself. The staff is super friendly. The place is always clean. They have a Kids club that does activities from 9-5. Ranges from in their kids center to water activities. My daughter LOVED Raquel. She is a sweetheart and so great with kids. My family will definitely be coming back!

Wish i could leave 0 stars. first, after traveling all day they try and push you into signing up for a timeshare tour at the "sister" resort. Staff is very unfriendly. guy didn't even want to tell us which way our room was because we didn't want to sign up for the timeshare scam. The food court is worse than cruise ship food. very bland and its the same thing all week. If you want to eat at one of the restaurants at the hotel you have to stand in line at 8am for 30 minutes and hope they have a reservation when you get to the front of the line. they normally don't. they wont take walk ins even when the restaurant is empty. nice way to spend every morning of your vacation! and the "beach" is really an edge of a canal. the pictures on the website are not accurate. the resort is nothing like the pictures. The "ocean front balcony" room we paid extra for was overlooking the pool, not the beach. Also, the bars don't serve alcohol until noon. they said its a local law. but you can walk accross the street and get a beer at local restaurants. Would not recommend to anyone. will not be going back. very disappointing.

I would not recommend this hotel. We had a wedding at this hotel so we had a large group of people staying here. They did not accommodate rooms that we paid for. When this was brought up to Angelica Nahuat, she printed out our confirmation and “kindly” circled what I paid for which was a double room. According to their website a double room accommodated either a king or two double beds. There was no indicator describing the amount of people required per room. She did not provide any compensation or even apologize for the misunderstanding, talked down at us the whole time. Terrible manager and front desk staff. Another family in our group were given a room for the first day and on the second day the room was taken from them. The bride and groom didn’t even receive the room they were promised by staff. If you can’t accommodate the people paying for the wedding, that tells you a lot about this hotel. On top of that, you had a giant line of people waiting to get a room which I have never experienced such slow service at any resort I’ve stayed at. When you finally do get to check in, they tell you nothing about where your room is or what is at the hotel so you have to find it all on your own. Terrible customer service. Don’t stay here unless you don’t want what you paid for. They’ll tell you the hotel is “full” meanwhile the rooms next to some guests were vacant with double beds empty.
