If you have any standards above bare minimum, do not book this resort. The rooms are old as hell and not fit to be rented out. We left the same day we checked in. The a/c didn’t work, there were holes in the wall, no ventilation in the bathroom, the shower head was corroded and nasty. The walls were gross, the food and drinks are disgusting, and the bath towels look like they are ten years old. I’m getting nauseated just thinking about it. The beach was full of sea weed. This hotel is absolutely ridiculous!!! They wouldn’t refund our money even though the room was unfit. Please spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

!!!Scam alert!!! (Read ending only for scam description) The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and the pools were good. Food was great everyday. The all inclusive stuff is good if you plan to stay at your hotel only but if you want to venture outside, it's best to opt for 3meals a day option. I gave this hotel a very low rating because the room was dusty, the bed was uncomfortable, the wifi was unreliable, the bathroom looked like it needed renovating, doors were difficult to open, even the walls seemed to have dust all over. If you want to use the closet, don't. The outside porch area was dirty and even the beach side view could hardly be enjoyed because trees were in the way. The hotel is also part of those scams that promises free taxi rides if you go on a "tour" of their "sister hotel". Obviously before going to Cancun you should know not to indulge in "free offers". The staff of the hotel did nothing to stop my mom from going and they didn't even your the sister hotel, they took us straight to a room with tables and other families and tried to get us to sit through a presentation/buy something inorder to get our free ride back to the hotel. It took me telling the woman "we don't want to buy anything, we can walk, no thank you" and walking out of the room for them to let us leave.

Well, this hotel has def everting you need. Pools, bars, restaurants, market, beaches, etc. And also just adjacent to the ferries and located just middle of the hotel zone and the downtown. Couldn’t be better.

Is it worth the money food has great taste there is a little entrainment by the pools great view and sceneries tenemos dias Mas Para disfrutar .

The new name from this hotel is dos Playas Beach House by Faranda. The garden and the beach are beautiful but the staff isn't good. They forget to much and the waiter stand in the corner and talk with the other staffs. You must get your drink yourself. The beach is beautiful, you have all what you need there to relax and white sand and you can snorkeling. The rooms are very different. If you have a bad room than you should ask to change. Some of the rooms are new....other are very old and much things are broken.

When my husband and I arrived to our room, we were incredibly shocked with how much it *didn't* look like the pictures. There were odd shelves in the middle of the wall, forcing the one side of the bed to be against the wall. The bathroom was old and needed a LOT of work. When we went to the front desk, they arranged to show us 2 rooms that would be available the next day and the remainder of the week. We looked at the rooms and both were nice, however our view was spectacular and the room they showed us that was right next to ours had 2 beds, not a King bed. We opted to keep our room. The staff was great, the service was wonderful and the food was amazing. There's not a crazy amount of diversity of food on the buffet, however what was offered tasted amazing at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pizza was good, as were the burgers and hot dogs. We were able to enjoy Thursday's Mexican night and it was a lot of fun. The entertainment was awesome and the "street vendor" set up was pretty neat and, again, the food was tasty. The views of the ocean were breathtaking around the entire property. Please note that this building is one of the original hotels in the Cancun area. It has all of the charm of such an old place with the architecture in the rooms and the building itself. It also is showing some of it's age. It definitely needs some love, especially with the bathrooms. Even still, we would consider staying here again.

Horrible! Never come here again! Save yourself from this disaster hotel! The power went out a few times, and so did the water. Wi-Fi worked at first and then stopped working for a whole day. Phone didn’t work, and then we also had a leak from the toilet at night. Tv remote didn’t work, and when my mother in law had bad stomach and puked, they asked her to pay for the linen service! And old lady by herself! Shame on them! They also overcharged us for extra guest although the website said up to 4 people per room, and we already paid for 2 rooms. And we were 3 adults and 1 child. We paid $2900 for a package of flights and hotel, for 1 week with breakfast. Then They asked us to pay additional $50 per night for the added guest. Although they wrote - “ up to 4 people per room”. One night We also paid $20 per person for a buffet dinner and it was just bad food. On top of that the website clearly said that the Christmas dinner is included in the price and they refused to accept it and wanted us to pay a lot of money for this dinner. They refused to reimburse any amount but offered free dinner for one night.

Caribe pool and pool bar is the best by far. Very friendly and fun staff. Had a much better time at this pool than the others. Francisco is the best bartender! Can’t wait to come back next year.

Room's ok if you're planning spent most of your time out of it. The all-inclusive worth it if you want to get rest @ hotel, the only thing I am disagree is the staff, they really need to be more friendly and kind with tourists, no matter if they're mexicans or white!!

-no working outlets in room - toilet was broken upon arrival and required a repairman who left bathroom filthy. Toilet then ran continuously all night while flooding bathroom into the bedroom. - AC barely works - No hammock on patio (as was advertised) - disgusting unusable shower curtain that didn’t keep any shower water in - Shower was clogged and flooded into bathroom and required repairman who used same toilet plunger on toilet then on shower drain - Only given 2 bath towels and were not allowed more, even after repairman used ours to wipe up flooding - Black mold in closet - Sticky Stains on floors
