I wish I could say I loved the Live Aqua but I can’t. I booked was called a garden view thinking we would be facing some kind of greenery but instead we had a great view of a construction.. I could’ve looked passed that it it wasn’t for the loud noises coming from the site starting at 6am. Additionally the front desk essentially dismissed it when brought to their attention and that it’s not their fault. The worst thing about our stay was them trying to pitch us a modern version time share but disguise it as them trying to show you who they are. We were told they were wanted 40-45 min of our breakfast time to talk with us in exchange for a couples massage but it turned into 2hrs! And I’m not exaggerating, 10:30 am all the way to 12:30pm and it would’ve gone longer had my wife and Not stood up and politely left. The stay wasn’t all bad, most of the staff was great, extremely polite and hospitable. Their best restaurant is MB, the food was amazing, easily one of the best meals of my life. The other restaurants unfortunately are not as good but their breakfast buffet and poolside grills were also incredible. Also be sure to grab a smoothie during breakfast and a crepe for an evening snack, both are delicious. Our the experience wasn’t the best but also not the worst. Maybe you will have a better stay than my wife and i, and I hope you do. But if you were to ask me if I’d stay here again, we’ll I would heavily consider other options next time I visit Cancun

We were excited to stay at this resort. We researched it, read the mostly good reviews, and booked a room. After an exhausting day of international flying, we finally arrived, only to be told that there was an "issue" with our room and that we "would not be able to stay at this resort." No further explanation was given. Although we were offered coupons for a free stay in the future, (turns out) the coupons expire in one year - we will likely not be able to fly out here again in that short time period. Also note that this same situation happened with other travelers who arrived the same day we did. This was not a one-off. We were then relocated to a sister resort (same owner), which we were told was "nice" and "kid free" (same as the one we booked). Turns out it was a much, MUCH older resort and there were tons of kids. We were blatantly lied to by "customer service." I would highly recommend avoiding a resort who does not honor their own room bookings and blatantly lies to customers. EDIT: it got worse. We were told we had free transport back to Live Aqua any time we wanted. This was another lie. When we called to arrange transport, we were told the latest time they would arrange free transport was 6pm, effectively making dinner plans at Live Aqua impossible. "Customer service" had played us again. I wouldn't come back to this resort if they paid us. I've had better service at cheap roadside motels. Our situation was 100% out of our control and could happen to anyone reading this review. I would rate zero stars if possible. Stay away.

5 star resort. My best friend and I took a much needed girls trip to Cancun. I chose this resort after finding it hidden in cheap Caribbean.com. It was more expensive then the other hotels but you truly get what you pay for. I hate long reviews so here I’ll trip to shorten in. Pros: Amazing sensory experience. Upon arrival your senses are taken on it’s own separate journey. It smells amazing. Check out was quick. The food is amazing the atmosphere is also incredible. Drinks are top shelf. Did I mention the food is amazing. 24 hour room service. The blinds/Shades recess when you walk in. Beautiful shower. Very clean hotel. Adults only. Cons: it may be out of your price range but if you want luxury this is the place for you.

Live Aqua is an adults-only resort in Cancun, Mexico. We first went in February 2012, and it was the best all-inclusive hotel experience in Cancun we ever had (and we’ve been to plenty of other hotels on Cancun’s main strip). We experienced the best food and top-shelf drinks you could ask for. Granted, it was more expensive than other all-inclusive experiences nearby, but it was completely worth it. After that experience, it was always a plan to come back one day. Fast-forward 11-years to November 2023. This place has definitely gone downhill. Most of the restaurants, drinks, and room service items are trash. The only good restaurant included with the all-inclusive package is MB. There is another restaurant, called Carnivore, which also has better food, but you will need to pay extra. This resort used to be incredible, but it has declined over the decade. Do your research and stay elsewhere!

This was my first time in Live Aqua Cancun and let me just say that it absolutely exceeded all of my expectations! The service was impeccable, nothing like I have ever experienced before. The employees were extremely friendly and definitely knew how to make you feel special. The restaurants were all fantastic! The food was so delicious, I truly have no complaints. The only thing I will say is that I found their dessert selection to be very limited, but definitely not a big deal to affect my overall experience. The entire facility was extremely clean and well kept. Everything always smelled so beautifully. As soon as I got home, I told all my friends and family about it and told them they have to go at least once. I definitely know I will be going back again!

It’s like buying a book with a beautiful cover only to be filled with coupons. Everything costs extra. All inclusive is for the low-quality items. The drinks are all bottom shelf liquor (like really bad) and the restaurants are the equivalent. I went to the “seafood” restaurant for lunch but all they offer is fish and shrimp. If you want oysters, lobster etc it costs money (see picture). Also the best restaurant at the hotel isn’t free and you have to pay like normal. I gave it 2 stars because the room is nice and location is good (like every other hotel in Cancun) but people choose all inclusive to have nice food and drinks and not worry about spending money. This place scrapes the bottom with what it includes. Oh and there was a 30 minute sales pitch we couldn’t escape from at checkin. If you’re looking to relax and have a high end experience (which I thought I was getting at $750/night) I would not stay here. Very much bait and switch. Look elsewhere.

We were not impressed. For the price, they fell short in almost every way. Food presentation was good, but the flavor of the food was not 5 star at all. The pool staff did pretty well, but the drinks weren't great. Very little to do there but sit by the pool or the beach. They did however have a great gym. The lack of emanates motivated us to workout everyday. We opted for the Aqua club. Another disappointment. It was nice to have access to a butler for direct contact, but again, they fell short in meeting our expectations. Some people seem to love it there. We did not. I am positive there are worse places. However, we have spent less (much less) and have stayed at better.

This resort is the best! I came here with a large group of 11 guys for my bachelor party and we had so much fun. The resort is beautiful, staff is friendly, and food is excellent! A special shout out to the two Marias! The first Maria, in group sales, was amazing to deal with and helped us get our rooms ready, which was not easy as a lot of us had different arrival and departure dates. The second Maria, on the entertainment team, was absolutely lovely!! She made sure that we all had a blast! It wouldn’t have been as great of a trip had it not been for these two ladies. Can’t wait to come back!

Do NOT waste your money. I never write negative reviews, but this needs to be said. Be warned: you do NOT get 5 star service or experiences here. They closed an entire pool for a private event and cancelled all cabanas/chairs that had been reserved… and never alerted anyone. I’ve had better food at a baseball game. The drinks are so diluted that you’re actively losing money if you have a mixed drink. I need a vacation from this vacation.

Overall we had a good experience at the resort. A few hiccups but overall a good trip but over priced for what the resort offers as a whole. The beach was amazing and plenty of room in the pools and friendly and fast servers and bar tenders at the pool. The food over all was very average and nothing exciting. The restaurants were also small and we were a group of 6 so it was not easy to get dinner on site without waiting over an hour. The room we reserved was no longer available when we checked in, and there was no explanation. We ended up taking a partial ocean view and a discount instead but it worked out nice enough and could still see the water.

The moment I left Live Aqua I wanted to leave a very detailed review because they totally deserve it and I’ve experienced it myself that they take feedback very seriously. On our first day we struggled with our food choices but once we discussed our spice level and food restrictions we were able to taste the most delicious food. Staff is very polite and friendly and they make you feel so exclusive and special. Live Aqua is a very peaceful resort since it’s adults only. Room service is quite fast and I must mention that the entire place smells amazing!!! Suggestions: 1) For Muslims, consider offering Halal Meat so they can enjoy delicious meat dishes at Live Aqua. 2) Work on the entertainment side, I didn’t find it to be happening at night.

Such an amazing resort! The staff is so kind and professional. The food is absolutely amazing with so many different options. The beach and pools are beautiful, and the rooms are kept so clean! Loved everything about this place. I took my mom for a mother/daughter trip and it was the perfect place to do so. We have a perfect time! Will for sure be returning!

I'm giving this resort 5 stars because it is AMAZING! From the customer service, to the amenities....fantastic!!! The staff is SO friendly, we never waited at the pool for a drink, the staff is very attentive, the food is impeccable and the rooms are very clean. You really do get top notch service! HOWEVER, my only complaint is the wait times for dinner. We had a party of 6, which I feel is pretty common at an all inclusive resort. We had to wait over 2 hours at the dinner restaurants. They gave us the option to split up, which we were ok with doing. But, there were nights we wanted to sit together! The only saving grace to keep us waiting longer was the sushi spot (you can grab all the sushi you want at this little spot next to MB, one of the restaurants). The managers were very apologetic and friendly and helpful. Hopefully, the resort can figure this out. But we will definitely come back! An amazing place to stay

This was our second time staying at this resort and the next time we go to Cancun we will be staying there again. The moment you arrive you are greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The check in is a breeze and I have never had anyone try and up sell me. We also make sure to book our stay with a minor upgrade to allow us more freedom in what we choose to drink and eat. Like all resorts there has to be limit on what is included and what is extra so I recommend this minor expense up front. The resort is clean and welcoming with staff that really focuses on making sure you’re enjoying your vacation. The food is fantastic and there are so many choices. I recommend them all. During our stays we have encountered nothing but fantastic people but I would like to point out a few that made our trips even more amazing. This year we had John serving us pool side and he made sure we taken care of and enjoying our trip to the fullest. He really was amazing. I also want to mention Allie, Roosevelt, Antonio, and Hector. All of which are great. We will definitely be back. I would give a higher rating if possible.

Currently here on vacation with sadly, only 2 days left. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with the warmest hospitality. This place has impeccable views with outstanding landscape around the resort. The water is so blue and clear, you'll get lost in it's beauty. The food for the most part is great. Some restaurants have much better quality than others. I can't say enough about the staff and how nice they are to you. And the cherry on top...no kids!!

Hats off to Live Aqua. Hands down the best vacation ever. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they go above and beyond. The resort is clean. The food is excellent. As a older couple we do prefer a higher quality alcohol but besides that WOW. A shout out to Alejandra at the pool. This young lady went above and beyond and she deserves to be recognized. See you all next year!!!!!

Loved our stay. The staff is incredible. Don’t pay extra for a terrace room or even the aqua club, you don’t need it. Make sure to tip instead!! The construction going on next-door was not loud nor did it bother us at all during our stay. If you have food allergies, the staff was incredibly aware of ingredients in the food and steered us in the right direction.

This has been the best resort we have visited so far. The staff is top-notch. Any minor issues were promptly addressed. The food is amazing. Several food and dining options. All very good. The rooms were great with an incredible view. All areas are very clean and extremely well maintained. We will absolutely return for another stay soon.

We absolutely love this resort! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed. The food was amazing and I love the pool services!!! One thing I wish that was different is so they would lift the mask restrictions for the workers. There is no need for them to suffer under that heat with a mask on. I was absolutely shocked that they have to wear N95’s. Please take care of your workers and let them breathe fresh air. That’s ridiculous

My husband and I were so incredibly pleased with the Live Aqua Beach Resort in Cancun! We had to delay our honeymoon after our 2020 wedding due to COVID- 19 and wanting to explore all that Mexico had to offer, so we didn't travel until August 2022 and this resort experience made it SO worth the wait! We agreed that we'd literally book the same location, room, stay, etc. and trip in general again if we can/could come back! The food was DELICIOUS at every option - whether room service or one of the restaurants on the property! We loved the variety of options and how everything tasted SO fresh! The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean as can be, we had our privacy, and it was spacious! The staff was unmatched compared to any other resort/vacation we've experienced. Everyone was SO friendly, personable, and happy for us to be celebrating our honeymoon! We were more than happy to tip the staff - not out of obligation, but out of true appreciation for the service with a smile and friendly conversation that we received at every encounter! Having to listen to the timeshare- type presentation wasn't our favorite, but every other detail of our honeymoon was absolute PERFECTION! We also thoroughly enjoyed our romantic dinner on the beach with tasty food and a gorgeous setting! We just came back from Cancun and can't wait to go back again. Live aqua had the most amazing service even with so many people staying there during this super crowded last week of December. They have great variety of restaurants inside- Italian , Mediterranean, Asian (with some Indian food) etc.But there was some waiting time for most of the restaurants. They also had different food/drink counters around the pools. They have so many pools with infinity pool and bar. The cabana and pool service was also good. Make sure to book cabana a day prior. You get beach slippers and beach basket in your room to carry around. *The best part of this resort is their SPA. Absolutely do not miss the spa here. It is worth every penny you pay for.* The Christmas decorations were cherry on the top. Also, they make anniversaries and birthdays very special. The housekeeping is really good, everyday we had something special in the room. The rooms, lobby, elevators - super clean. The ocean view from the room is just mesmerizing. They have an activity calendar timetable for every week.

My wife and I had a blast at Live Aqua for our honeymoon. We stayed for total of 8 nights. The staff here made us feel at home. Being here for a week we got to experience the good and the bad and I can tell you that this place captured our hearts because of the professionalism of the staff. The activities are wholesome, the food is good. Drinks are strong and delicious. When you stay here you feel like you’re in a spa during your entire stay. The spa it self is spectacular. They will guide you through spa therapy at no extra cost an hour before your actual massage that you reserved. Overall the location is perfect, it’s the nicest resort amongst all the others near by. You can walk to la Isla (which is nice outdoor mall that also has a small casino) We met a lot of guests that were returning to this resort. Now we know why. We are looking forward to our future stay here at Live Aqua.

This was a fantastic resort. Food was fantastic but the service was even better. The pool bar staff of Eli and Tino and Antoni were amazing. The wait staff of Marcelo was great. I loved Hector and Oscar at the Aka bar. They made the trip amazing. We are definitely coming back.

Live Aqua was an amazing place to stay. I was highly impressed by the hotel staff with their kindness. The room was clean and had a amazing view (as all the rooms do). The food was ok depending upon what restaurant you dine in, but overall I give the food a 8/10. They do not have much night life, I do suggest going off the resort for night life activities. Overall, I do recommend this resort if you want a chill mixture of party and relaxation.

Me and my husband spent 4 nights in this resort. It was wonderful location like i was in paradise. Being a vegetarian I thought they would have limited options but yes they did have better and more options. Room was good but some smell was coming from the shower. Service was great and spa was amazing. Concierge was great but someone by mistake had taken my clothes may be the house keeping and I was calling for an update but the lady in front gave me vague answers and was little rude. The bar in the lobby was quiet and bar tender was the best person in whole live aqua. Will definitely recommend to people.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at Live Aqua. Everything about it was a dream vacation. The experience, staff, facilities, etc were amazing. BUT I have to give a 1 star for the absolute scam they set me up for. When they told me I could get a free Cabana and discount on other activities if I attended this meeting, I immediately knew it was going to be a scam, but my dumb self still fell for it. I was promised an 8 night stay a Live Aqua, Buy 1 get 1 flights twice a year for 2 years, and much more. Turns out all the verbal promises made by our sales agent, Jorge, were 100% false claims. I have been going back and forth with Fiesta Americana and the only resolution they gave me was one where I can redeem it after continuing my membership for another 16 months… I am beyond disappointed that Live Aqua would set up their customers for such an awful “membership” that takes advantage of everyone that signs up. My boyfriend and I were planning on coming back to Live Aqua twice a year and having our wedding there with 100+ guests. But if this isn’t resolved, I will not step back in a place I can’t trust. This is all so disappointing because I thought I found my dream vacation spot, but this ruined it all.

Just go. Save your money and go. You will not be disappointed. The views. The food. The little touches like a bottle of wine in the room at night and messages written in the sand to guests. The service. The variety of everything to do on the grounds and variety of restaurant cuisines. And those cute little ducks. The only downside: there are not enough hours in the day to do “nothing” and “everything” at the same time.

My husband and I just came back from a wonderful vacation at this all inclusive hotel. The room was very nice, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The staff was very attentive, and a phone call away. This hotel provides great room service. The food was good, and the pools were amazing! Without a doubt, we will return to this hotel. Be aware that there is construction next to this hotel and workers start working around 7:30 a.m.

If you’re thinking of coming here and comparing other places, I’ve already done all the hard work for you, stayed here and it is an incredible, amazing, all encompassing place. Book it. Special thanks to Carla, her customer service skills are outstanding and she deserves a raise. I could say so many things about this place but to keep it short, everything exceeded my expectations- and I had high expectations coming here with my partner. The food was REALLY good, the service was dedicated, the beach was beautiful - Crystal clear water, the resort was clean and spot on for 5 stars. This was all during a rainy weekend, so imagine if we came during a sunny weekend. If you’re still reading: 1. Highly recommend restaurants hidden garden and WB. Make a reservation. 2. Go lay out at beach all day and get 20 mojitos if that’s your thing, because you can. I stopped at 2. 3. Breakfast buffet has everything. 4. Shopping center is right in front of this hotel and has great stores. 5. The sushi place opens at 5 PM and is so freaking good. Disclaimer: I DO NOT eat meat, so I didn’t care that the one restaurant that is not included is all meat. However, the food is really good everywhere else and there are a VARIETY of options.

Very relaxing place with beautiful beach. Views are amazing. From the pool area and infinity pool. Staff is extremely professional. They are not overly friendly but definitely meet all your needs. Wish they had a bigger and more available buffet option but the food is overall just fine. Every meal was tasty and satisfactory.

HIghly recommend if you need or simply want a little adult getaway. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food is definitely way better than your average "resort menu". Plenty of pool space, the rooms are divine and exceptionally clean. Overall really enjoyed our getaway for our baby moon, nice and relaxing and came back feeling refreshed. Lastly the scents that are distributed throughout the resort are amazing!

This is by far the most amazing resort I've ever stayed at. The staff were amazing. Miguel waited on us by the pool each day, and he was so friendly. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to ensure our honeymoon vacation was great. We will definitely be returning soon!

This is a nice hotel. I wouldn’t say it is to the step of luxury but it is nice. You can definitely tell it is older and could use some TLC in places. The rooms are ok but if you get a garden view room or a room with no view you will probably get a room on the main road. The road noise is definitely noticeable in these rooms with the balcony door even closed. Nothing much the hotel can do about it but if you find yourself on that side of the hotel you may want to ask for a room closer to the ocean. There was an odd, constant, foul smelling odor on certain parts of pool level floor. Only in certain spots and only inside the main hotel area. Never could figure out what it was but it was there. We thought the staff was very friendly and never had any issues. The food was ok, and as others have said — a little bland. The small outdoor restaurant by the swim up bar is absolutely fantastic. The buffet is good and had a good variety, just a little bland. The beach was fantastic. No issues at all. All the pools were also very nice and they never felt overly crowded. They are just older and show wear in places (missing tiles, jets not working, etc). We did go to the spa for massages (as this was complimentary from the resort after we had a room issue the first night). That experience was fantastic! Highly recommend. Overall it was a nice experience and enjoyed the kid free atmosphere.

Very few if any decent food options. Bottom shelf drinks with worse service. Some staff friendly some just rude. No way is this a 5 star hotel. The property is nice but that's about it. If you can't get a top shelf Rita with fresh juice in Mexico then where do you get one? It's rhetorical I get them in Houston all the time.

Travel Agent here. I stayed here just for few days in early September to do a site inspection and experience what the resort had to offer. From the moment we arrived on the property, the staff was ready and eager to take care of us! The resort is tastefully designed with relaxation in mind and eucalyptus misting through the lobby and sitting areas. There was a refreshment cart with lightly flavored waters available near the front desk, so clients could enjoy a cool drink while waiting to check in. The check-in process was simple and we were given these cute ribbon and wooden token bracelets that unlocked our room doors and served as our wristband throughout our stay. They were comfortable to wear and easy to take off if you need to. Our room was on the ground floor with all the restaurants, spa, and shops, which was very convenient! The room was modern and comfortable and included all the amenities necessary for a relaxing stay. A beach bag and sandals were tucked in the closet for us to use, there was a mini-bar with drinks and snacks, and the standard coffee/tea setup. The bathroom had a separate toilet room, a roomy shower with rain shower and a movable shower head on the wall. I liked that the shower glass was 1 way reflective, giving privacy from the main room. The mirror/sink area had all the amenities one could need, the wall behind the mirrors was glass, with blinds that you could adjust for more or less privacy. We also had a small patio looking into the garden area, and the curtains were controlled by a switch by the bed. The room came with scented oil sticks, and we were told that we could change the scent or request samples at any time. We also found a sand garden tucked away in one of the cupboards. Room service is included, 24 hours a day, as well as morning coffee/tea and pastries delivery. All restaurants on the property are included in your stay, except Carnivore, which has an additional cost. I found that most restaurants had options for those with dietary restrictions, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. We dined at many of the restaurants and everything we ate was fresh and delicious! While touring the property, the concierge showed us a hidden trail that led to a beach-front hut with massage tables for romantic beachfront couples massages, where you could relax and listen to the waves during your treatment. This hut also served as a private area that clients could book for a proposal or special moment. The Cabanas by the pool come with the Suites, and include a 20 minute foot massage poolside! If you're not booked in a suite, you can reserve a cabana for $80/day (this will include the foot massage). Hammocks and beach chairs are on a first come-first serve basis, but we found that there were always some available. The beach was Pristine! The resort has workers that keep the beach clean daily, and I never saw any trash or seaweed on the beach or in the water. Even when the resort was at 80% capacity, the resort was quiet and relaxing. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Live Aqua Cancun, and would definitely recommend it to any adults looking for a calm, relaxing vacation away from their busy lives.

Bottom line is that you get what you pay for. Great food? Checked Great drinks? Checked Good service? Checked Clean rooms? Checked Great pool? Checked Multiple restaurants to choose from? Checked The only place they lack is night life, but I've been told it'll get better soon. We'll have to return and see for ourselves (what a great excuse to go there again)

Amazing property. It's very chill and a great escape. The staff was amazing and really went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. Just a few items for improvement. There is no night life, a definite need for music at the pool (even just background), and no true Mexican cuisine. Other than that A+

We had the best time at Live Aqua. We stayed for a week and the staff was amazing! They absolutely paid attention to their guests and were always available to help. Many times we were provided drinks that we did not order as the staff noticed we were running low. It was amazing how well they catered to us and were so pleasant to visit with throughout our stay. Housekeeping was phenomenal as well. The food was also to die for! Great all-inclusive option. I was hesitant about it being all-inclusive, that the food would not be up to par but it was fabulous! We cannot wait to go back!

Awesome all-inclusive. Super comfortable rooms and great amenities, including free Starbucks on site. Food was also good, but even with all the restaurants, I gotta say the grill station near the pool was the most memorable. The grilled chicken and tacos were 🤌 Resort location was great too, walkable to a shopping plaza across the street. The R1/2 buses will get you anywhere else you need to go, with a bus stop 3 mins walk away from the lobby.

We went for our 25th anniversary and they decorated our room before arrival. The day of our anniversary I asked to simply have a ring delivered to my wife while we were in our cabana and they made a whole awesome show out of it. And then when we went to our room they had decorated it with rose petals. All the staff was amazing. The waiters always remembered us and were so friendly and responsive. The food was really tasty and nicely plated. They knew it was our last night and they brought us a decorated dessert plate. It was our first time doing all-inclusive and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast buffet was overwhelming. They had everything you could think of and stuff you'd never think of too. My only gripes are when we had drink service to the cabana, the drinks were made with cheap liquor but if I went to the bar myself they used the good stuff. And we tried a variety of different drinks but all the mixers were gross. We stuck with vodka tonics or beer. And disappointed that there was no Mexican restaurant option. They do have street tacos at the sidewalk grill though and they were absolutely delicious!

A very clean, modern and relaxing resort. Very good food all a la carte with small portions so you can try more stuff. Staff is wonderful, great service and no lingering around or asking for tips. Full gym opens early. Beach is clean and the pool area is kept clean by the employees. Lots of food and drink options, shows and entertainment every night. Relaxing crowd when we were there off season. Also the room was really cool! Snacks and drinks in the fridge, 24/7 room service and a cool washroom.

We had high hopes this resort. The actually property was beautiful - pools, view of the ocean, decor, etc. The room was perfect. Staff was phenomenal. Now the not so great parts... food was not great at all. I've been to multiple AI resorts and LA definitely ranked near the bottom for food quality - despite being named as one of the nest recently. Also, we had high hopes for the entertainment, especially as the Omni was out of this world for entertainment when we went two years ago. Huge disappointment. Unfortunately, those two things were what we were looking forward to the most. Super expensive for the overall quality.

We stayed at Live Aqua for 6 nights. We had an ocean-view room which we loved. All inclusive is the way to go! The service throughout, whether room service or beach services or waiters, was amazing. Everyone was always friendly and ready to help. We found the restaurants to above average -- we tended to eat dinner around 5 and never had a problem with lines. The food was not 5-star, but much better than we expected. The concierge desk gave us great suggestions on activities. We would definitely return!

Live Aqua is unlike any other all inclusive I’ve been to. When you walk in you’re welcomed with the most amazing smell of eucalyptus and spa like music. The staff is all so wonderful and go out of their way to help you with anything. When walking into the room, the blinds automatically open and other auto features are present. The beach and pool had umbrellas for every chair so it wasn’t hard to find seats based on if you wanted shade vs sun. The food was excellent, some average but I didn’t have anything I didn’t like. The sou chef (Miquel I believe) went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of stopping by tables often to see if he could do anything. We had amazing servers as well (Ariel is the only name I can remember) but they were fantastic. The pools were infinity looking out onto the beach. I never made it to the spa but I heard that was also a great experience. They have a circus show that is unbelievable on Saturday and Thursday I highly recommend going to. Overall, you will not be disappointed coming here it was unbelievably amazing!

Should have left this review a LONG time ago! This resort is hands down my favorite when staying in Cancun. My yearly trip to the area has brought me back to this same resort many times now. It is obviously one of the more expensive resorts in the area but is absolutely worth it. The 5 start treatment you get when you walk into the door, the delicious foods and drinks they have and beautiful décor and suites is worth every penny. The eucalyptus aroma that is throughout the lobby brings you to a complete Zen state of mind while there. The beach and pool is kept clean and the lounge chairs are plentiful. The location could not be more prefect!! I have stayed in many different reports in the Cancun area and always end up back at Live Aqua, so that I am never disappointed. Although it's been awhile since I've been able to get back, it is one of my favorite places to stay!

What a great place to enjoy this little paradise on earth. Loved the location, beach, pool, and customer services. The only thing that lags from getting a 10/10 rating is because of the limited food selection for vegetarians. If you can manage with the limited veg choices and not completely depending your stay on food then I guess you are going to fall in love with this place forever. We did receive lots of complimentary services as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary that includes but not limited to an upgrade from a garden view room to an “Ocean View Room” for free along with lots of in room Champagne bottles and desserts. I would go back to this resort if I ever visit again Cancun.
