For 314 MXN a night, I believe you cannot ask for much more. I give it 3 stars because of 3 things: The family that takes care of the place (very nice people by the way), wake up very early, so you wake up with them around 7 AM. They have kids so it’s very very noisy. Also, our room was right next to their house, and between us there was a machine making extremely loud noise, so it’s uncomfortable. The place is clean, no complaints. We had everything we needed. But also the location is very bad, but it’s really not their fault. We asked our taxi driver if it was safe to walk around that neighborhood at night and he said “no” like 5 times “at night it is best you stay home”. There’s no bus or colectivo near the place so you have to walk around 30 minutes to get one.

The area is very dangerous.the area is one of the worst in cancun.the water is very cold in the bathroom and the sink has low pressure.if you stay 2-3-4 days they don’t clean your room.

A bit hard to find, our taxi driver had to call them to give directions. Even though we arrived a bit after 3am, we could check in. The room is small, but tastefully decorated. The bed is a bit narrow for two people and the shower hardly gets you wet, but given the price, it's still amazing! In conclusion, I would not book this for a full vacation, but it's great if one needs an affordable accomodation for one night. Also, it's quite close to ADO bus station and colectivos (about 1km).

It was quite hard to find and didn't feel like the best area, but that said the rooms and facilities were fantastic. It felt very secure and was clean and comfortable. AC, WiFi and hot water all worked well.

Rooms were clean, communication easy. We stayed for 2 nights and even used the parking and they propose also a service of laundry that we used (price per kg). Close is a nice local place to eat quesadillas - Emanuel, that was really good. The neighborhood is not a turistic place, so you can't expect perfectly clean streets, but we were walking around at night and we didn't have any troubles. Overall, for the price highly recommended.

I will be leaving Casa de Ana in 2 days via the hotel's airport shuttle. Benito and Mayret made my budgeting easy because the amount to pay was always the same each day in cash. They also reserved my room for 1 month ahead, so I did not have to always check in and check out during my stay. I told them I'd do a review because I owe them for storing my belongings several times and for no extra charge when I was traveling. Mayret's only input was that she preferred the review to be published here. This is a very secure hotel with a heavy door and a single entrance corridor to the communal area. Anybody who enters must have a key and first walk past the family's quarters. My hotel room also has a heavy and secure iron door. Alejandra, who cleans the room, has not once thrown away any receipt or other personal item. I rate her cleaning above my own standard. I had severe issues with allergies to the handsoap and definitely the scented toilet paper that I hadn't experienced before, but which I solved by storing inside a plastic bag. I stayed here for over 1 year, and Mayret and Benito were always friendly and approachable -- and definitely understanding of my situation. A significant improvement during this time was the installation of a backup generator, which meant I could have Internet and lights in case of a general powercut. I mention all these things because these were faults I experienced in other hotels in Cancun. Mayret also offered to take delivery of my new debit card, which shows how kind this family was to me.

Great location, very friendly owner, good price, nice rooms. Not far from small shops, ATMs and food places. Also close to the city centre.
