The quality over price for this place is unbeatable. The all inclusive deal was amazing especially because the buffet food was great. Drinks and sandwiches were easily accessible. The beach side was also perfect !! The only thing that it was not good, was the hot tub of my room. The hot water was not really hot and didn't give us the experience that we wanted to have.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! My husband and I booked a trip over spring break to this property, but we were just informed last week that it will not be open that week. They canceled our reservation and said they would rebook us at a different resort which is not a Marriott property. When we were told this, we asked if we were going to be receiving an upgraded room since we had originally paid for a nicer room at the Marriott property. After over a week of trying to get our reservations booked at the new hotel, with little to no help from the hotel staff, we finally found out that the room we will be booked in is nowhere near the quality of room we paid for originally. When trying to call Marriott’s customer service, we were told that they cannot help us, and we would have to talk with someone at the hotel in Cancun. The hotel is not willing to help or assist us in getting a comparable room at this new hotel. We are loyal Marriott customers, but this entire experience has us wanting to switch loyalty to another hotel chain. We have received little to no help trying to rectify this situation even though they are the ones who cancelled our trip. Customer service has been awful, and I would not recommend booking here or any other Marriott property because of it.

Really nice hotel, facilities are great, location is good for beach, shopping and nightlife. Service from all staff is second to none as soon as you arrive at the door. Pool areas are clean and well maintained. There's a quiet area too if you want to chill away from the music. Food is great quality, better than some hotels in the area, lots to choose from and there's always somewhere open if your hungry, even room service is 24/7 (albeit a $5 charge per order not item). Only issue was a noisy neighbour but that's to be expected and we got a late checkout for the inconvenience.

I don't recall visiting this place, so not sure why Google keeps asking me to review it. Got nothing to say Google! Do you hear me?

I've been in the hotel besides this one. I don't know what happened there... The place is abandoned (closed). It really seems like a good scenario to The Walking Dead series!

Great resort with friendly staff. Food and drinks were both great with different restaurant options throughout the week. There are 5 restaurants and 3 bars (aside from the bar in every restaurant). I would definitely recommend this resort but be aware that all-inclusive really doesn't mean "all" as some things are actually very overpriced. One problem we had was the elevators traveling were way too slow (expect to wait 5-10 minutes each trip). The other is to use one of the pools requires bottle service most days which starts around $150USD (it's free Monday to Wednesday). Another pool is only for guests with upgraded rooms. These things aside the friendly staff and great service easily made up for it.

This place is closed and DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET ROBBED BY THE POLICE. I wish I was kidding. Keep your curiosity to yourself and avoid crossing the caution tape. There is a scam going on here.

I was there the last week of February... I had mixed feelings when I arrived because the many reviews I read but let me tell you my time there was GREAT! The room was amazing with an amazing view, very clean and cleaned every day (aside the days I didn't want them to clean). You get a mini fridge with a few snacks (cookies & chips) and 3-4 beers, stocked up every day. Restaurants were delicious, there is a lot of Mexican theme food but HEY "you are in Mexico so..." and I am Mexican as well so for me the food was DELISHUS! Overall staff was so attentive, very helpful, quick and friendly but I got to do a SHOUT OUT to Sergio (Captain) & Andres (waiter at restaurants), they went above and beyond for us!; also shout out to Marbella (waitress at beach), she was the most attentive wait staff at beach. The pools were very clean and I really liked how they have the whole pools/beach areas set up. I love the beach so I spent my whole time by the beach but the cabanas by the pools look amazing and so fun, lots of young people with a great energy and ready to get the party started! Cabanas at the beach are free but I believe cabanas in the pool area have a minimum spend over the weekends, just ask! Overall I had an amazing experience, I do want to come back and I will and 100% recommend this place! Kudos to Melody Maker staff & management!

My husband and I came here for our one year anniversary (2/15/20). The hotel was beautiful and the staff was amazing. The food was good, the pool area was so relaxing, and the room was spacious for our needs. The only issues we had was a power outage and no hot water, which both were fixed. Other than that, this was a great place to celebrate our anniversary.

Check in took an hour. Other resorts I've been to greet you with a drink or something but all your greeted with here is a line. Drink service could be better. Food was good. No entertainment other resorts I’ve been to offer a free show or pool fun entertainment. It is a very clean kept hotel. Nice place, I really just wish the first day was a better inviting experience. They also have a mini fridge stocked with beverages that are free but they require a bottle opener and it took 3 phone calls and going downstairs to talk to the supervisor to eventually get one. Not a very thought out amenity. Beach access is nice and convenient.

This was our first all-inclusive hotel so I have nothing to comppare it to. Also, we we're supposed to stay somewhere else but through a mix-up stayed here without any additional cost so I'm not sure how much it would have cost. if I had paid more we might have had more expectations but overall we thought it was great. The number one that's thing that stood out as how nice the employees all are. The other number one thing that stood out is how this place is not for young kids. This place is for college spring breakers. The other number one thing that stood out to me is that the food is just okay but after a week of staying there we knew where to go to get the best food. There are only two main restaurants. The buffet and a Mexican / Asian / Italian restaurant depending on the night. Sometimes there is a grill with some meat outside either out past the pool or in the front near the building. all of these are limited hours except for the buffet. we got two rooms and the one of them didn't have hot water or it working air conditioning but that wasn't the problem because we just used the other room. The halls also echo very loudly so bring ear plugs if you plan to go to sleep before 3 a.m! The activities that we found to do are: a nice Beach, a couple of nice pools, a pool table, a ping pong table, there was a small band at night two of the five days we stayed. Summary: not for young kids or families, super nice employees, not a whole lot to do, was a great experience but I'm not sure if it would be worth the money, we looked at a couple of others that might have looked better for our family, super nice employees.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Just got home from the Melody Maker and i must say it was an excellent vacation we had there. Reception when we got there awesome. Room awesome and kept spotless. Pool areas awesome beach awesome. Food awesome well prepared and plenty of it. And finally the staff AWESOME. They were the friendliest and most helpful we have had at any resort we have been too. Jennifer. Antonio and Juan to name just a few. One tiny critique, the music played at the lower pool area could be turned down from a 10 on the dial to an 8. But go here you won't be disappointed.
