This market is a little further away from our hotel, but it was way less expensive and more authentic. We went to a massage place just around the corner (it was wonderful!!!), ate tons of AMAZING food at the food plaza and even saw a fun Carnival parade. Oh, so fun!!!

Fresh meat, Produce & fish. It's a Farmers market serving customers 7 days a week. Shopping here makes your culinary experience more impressive.

Shopping here is better than Mercado 28. Pricing on merchandise is a little better. Negotiations is a bit flexible and people here is also nicer. This place have many food vendors and gift for your love ones. The bad is that it a little messy.

It's a locals market. There are a few stalls with tourist souvenirs but it's more food, vegetables, party supplies, etc. There's less variety in souvenirs than Mercado 28 but also a lot less hassle.

Amazing place to feel the real spirit of Mexican Cancun. Combine of food hall, meat, fish a vegetable rows, also some touristic merchandise and all bunch of graffiti.

This is where the locals go. If you want a true feel of the raw products that are used on a Mexican family table. This is it. Authentic as it gets. We took a private tour with a local chef

Nice place to visit if you are curious about the locals in Cancun. It is very small so about 30 minutes you are ready sightseeing.

👍 This is not to be confused with market 28 which is where tourists go to get T-shirts and trinkets. This is market 23 where the locals go shopping and eat. It is a walk through market with vegetables, fruits, and meats. there is clothing and jewelry and other household items to shop for as well. Ther...

😐 If you are coming from the USA, go on and have your own pesos and practiced Spanish phrase for “not today “ responses before going, unless you like to haggle. They don’t let up!!!! They have great things in the shopping plaza, but just don’t buy the same day you visit. Look around and take a mental...
