The staff always come in the room without saying word. Which I thought was very rude (never knocked on the door). The location is good. However the showers are always cold and toliets are backed up. My friend had holes in her bed sheets, which they never changed. We booked in all girls dorm and eneded up in mixed dormed. We asked change back to our original, but they refused.

Terrible. Dirty. Smelly. Facilities didn't work. We booked and paid extra for a "private" dorm, which was merely a cage around the bunk beds in the public dorm. One of the beds had bed bugs also. Would not recomend. There are much better options in this location and similarly priced

We had an amazing time here. Built inside an old shopping center, this hostel has the exciting feel of an empty and unexplored mansion. For 220 pesos a night, you can stay in a very clean and organized dorm room with great facilities, breakfast included, and close proximity to the beach. It is cheaper than all the hotel alternatives in Cancun.

Very affordable...the rooms for 5+ppl are big n they have 2 showers n 2 toilets...:) The beds r not the best n the place smells a bit old but it's not too bad. Takes u bk in time ..

Right next to the beach and party strip. I have no trouble sleeping but my travel companion did so the noise was rough on her but if you can sleep through anything like myself it was perfect. Also, do not rely on the breakfast they serve as food it was not so good.

This review is only for the hostel section of this place. PROs: Friendly staff(speaks english, too) Beautiful interior Free coffee and tea in the middle of the place CONs: Below our hostel was a shop was played loud techno for a little too long in the night Other hostel mates (they can't help this though) Shower's floor doesn't curve towards the drain so it is always flooded(don't leave your stuff on shower floor) AC is turned on only part of the day(in summer it is still too hot) Random tips: If you're staying here then you are right next to the plaza caracol, which is a shopping mall that takes USD. ( a little expensive) There are bus stops right next to or around this area. The price is 10.50 pesos. The closest beach is chac mool which is (out of the door) to the right for some 5-10 minutes by the cocobongo and you'll see a blue sign that says, "Acceso". There are a couple of food stops right by here. The one I'd recommend is Mr.Gory's, because they accommodated by vegetarian-ness and their food was great and cheaper compared to other nearby restaurants. There is wifi(I didn't use so I don't know how it was) and computer usage for 20 pesos for 30 minutes. Recommendation: This was a fairly pleasant hostel. I wouldn't recommend staying there for an extended time like I did especially in the summer because it gets too hot. It is located in a fair part of town and it is pretty cheap.

Stayed here in October 2010. Really interesting place because it's inside an old shopping mall, like you walk up the old escalators to get upstairs. I heard that it was the first mall in CanCun, built in the 80's. My brother and I paid for a private room, and it was basically one of the old mall stores. We had our own bathroom though, which was nice. It was a little more expensive than other hostels we stayed at in the Yucatan Peninsula, but I guess that's to be expected in CanCun. It was an okay place, but we weren't really wowed.

Great location. Nice staff. Can be loud and attracts some people who like to party and stay up late. The bed is not that comfortable. But again, great location and cheap.

😠 Ater you get there you wonder how its possible for it to have such a high rating, very dirty and old facilities, not how they make it look online. After I left a Argentinian volunteer whom I barely spoke to kept messaging me (numerous times) on insta to give them a high rating. She was extremely in...
