The restaurant is just amazing. We met the owner by chance on a boat tour and he recommended the place! Best decision to go there. The food was amazing, the waiter are very friendly and professional. And the best things to try are the special cocktails. They all come in different glas and made in a unique way and the taste delicious! I definitely will come back and I will visit the other locations across Mexico too.

Surprised and delighted by the experience and quality of food and drink here in Cancun. We went in March 2021 and they have built up many niche restaurants that attract a new kind of crowd to the area. Apothecary style drinks that are brought to you on a cart. And fresh food that is cooked right in front of you on a Himalayan salt slab, okay! Was definitely not expecting that. Food was delicious, staff was lovely, and the ambiance right on the water was breathtaking. They even do a light show on the water some nights. We had octopus, shrimp, rice and beans, tacos. and tons of other apps. We tried a few different crafted cocktails which were fresh and delicious.

Rib eye cap, tuna tostadas, elote & finished with the best lemon pie… I loved everything!!’ From the decor, the ambiance, of course the food & service. I’m a forever client!

An enjoyable 'special event' or special night out kind of vibe. Food was top quality and there's a focus on presentation and doting service. The salt slab was a cool and unique cooking method. Bone marrow side was not worth getting. Grilled veggies were too al dente and the soft shell crab which I was really excited about was way over seasoned to enjoy. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. 4 stars is the most I give a place as personally, I consider 5 stars to mean perfect and perfection is not possible in life. To the restaurant management, we enjoyed coming!

Never disappoints, the meat is always excellent and so is the service. Ask for a table in the terrace so you can enjoy the view. What we like about here is that it’s always consistent

Cannot say enough great things about this place. Not one complaint. Originally had plans on celebrating my old man’s birthday dinner elsewhere when the taxi driver recommended this place. 1. The food - phenomenal. We had surf and turf for two. Worth the money. 2. The service - I have not been to a more accommodating restaurant than this. 3. The atmosphere - a smooth combination of elegance and fun. 4. The entertainment - a great way to end the meal with dancers and sparklers. If you are ever in Cancun - spoil yourself and go to La Buena Barra.

We were so glad we tried LA Buena Barra for dinner. This has been the best restaurant we've been to in Cancun over the years. We loved our view of the lagoon, and our food and drinks were great. We started with some tortilla soup, which is the best I've had. I then had the roasted salmon, which was so moist and flavorful. Then, their keylime pie was a great ending to the night. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Cancun.

We didn't plan on going here we just happened to walk by and we were very surprised on how nice it was inside. The service was one of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant. Johnathan and Angel were perfect in their hospitality. The drinks were awesome, the tuna was delicious, and we enjoyed the nice views of the lagoon. We also ordered the octopus. The presentation was nice but the octopus lacked flavor and was chewy. The lemon and salsas helped out with the octopus. Speaking of which they had great salsas and tostadas. Also lastly the restrooms were the best. Individual rooms with sinks, toilets, and they have toothpicks with mouthwash. Never seen anything like that.

Came here for my birthday without any reservations. The view and decor of the restaurant is great. The staff was excellent, they threw me an awesome birthday celebration with bday flares and a light up sign with my name on it. The food was great, it comes in large portions, definitely shareable. The food could use some more seasoning. The drinks were a little weak, definitely would have spent more if the drinks were stronger. Overall a fun celebration dining experience, love the music playlist.

A definite 5 star! La Buena Barra has a multi level atmosphere with a sunset view! From beginning to end our visit was top notch. Enjoy their menu, adult beverages and service from a very accommodating and friendly staff.

We came here for lunch - the food was really tasty. My friend had a gluten sensitivity and the staff weren't particularly helpful with good alternatives - even the corn tortillas she requested still had gluten in them but she didn't find this out until they were given to her. At the end of our meal the payment terminal malfunctioned and even though I'd been charged and the bank had the charge on my app and when I called them, they insisted I be charged again. They told me that I'd have to get my bank to reverse the charge which is inconvenient. The staff were apologetic, but it's still annoying. I'd come back for the food and location but I'd hope for better service next time.

The drinks, food, experience and vibe were unparalleled. The cocktails a from the “high-end mixology menu” come in beautiful blown glass art pieces. The food was delicious all around. And there was even a short dance show and DJ. I recommend asking to sit outside! For cocktails, the Fugu was my favorite. And for food, I recommend the guacamole, ceases salad (which they prepare at the table), grilled octopus, steak (which is also burned at the table), and veggie burger.

This is the best overall restaurant experience we've had in Cancun. Spectacular setting with a beautiful view on the terrace, great music, excellent service, fun ambiance with some dinner entertainment and nearly perfect food. We had the pastor tower, softshell crab taco, beef tacos, escamoles, sea bass, grilled vegetable, artichoke salad, shrimp on truffle mashed potatoes. Everything was perfect...except the deserts. We had the cheesecake which tasted like a cold block of Philadelphia cream cheese, and the Pegame brownie which was a complicated mess served with vanilla ice cream that was like frozen milk. The key lime pie was not bad. I would ding them a star for the poor deserts, but everything else was perfection, so they deserve 5* and I'm sure they'll fix the deserts. Great place and now a favorite. Well done.

Wow, this is genuinely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. To start off, the hostess was super kind and shared the wifi password with us. The decor with the dim lights set the mood and to think the inside dining couldn’t get any prettier, the outside dining was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean, great music, staff was so kind and professional. My friend has a gluten allergy and they accommodated all of her needs. The food was FANTASTIC and my friend said his cheesecake was the best he’s ever had. I highly recommend coming here, worth every penny. One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Food and presentation was exceptional, the DJ was outstanding (we tipped him extra), and the service phenomenal as well. The ambiance (downtempo lounge/house music) and decoration in this place, along with the wonderful view are incredible. We will be back!

We didn't expect this place to be so alive! Wow. Absolutely legendary place. We expected to just have a nice, quiet dinner to end our night in Cancun but the place was a crazy party! Everyone was dancing, the waiters were dancing! It was beautiful! Our waiter Arturo was of impeccable service. Fantastic! Prices were super generous, there was an automatic gratuity of 15% but we wished that we could tip more as it really did make our night! Great establishment 10/10.

This restaurant was decent but was overpriced especially the shrimp taco and cocktails. While the presentation of the cocktails were fun the actual drinks were nothing special.

Great service and excellent food and drinks, I went there 2 days in a row, the second time they treated is like royalty! They were really happy to see us back again! I recommend this place with a 10/10! Update: 12/14/2023 I went back after 3 years and still amazed with the service and food quality. This time i had the Lobster and the Rib Eye clean center-cut Tenderloin and omg, cant beat the quality and the flavor

Service is stellar, the entire staff is extremely attentive to your every action. The food is delicious. They start you off with 5 housemade salsas and chips that are absolutely exquisite. One of the best steakhouses I’ve been to. Price is on the higher side but it is to be expected for a steakhouse in the Cancun hotel zone, so honestly, quite reasonable for the quality. Really fun birthday celebrations too.

Wonderful experience. The food, service, ambiance and views of the lagoon are excellent. My wife and I had the ribeye on the block of salt. Delicious. Highly recommend it.

Start to finish, this spot delivered one of the best meal experiences that my wife and I have ever had. We ate the salt block tenderloin with shrimp -so good 👍. View was great, music was right volume, service was attentive, drinks were top notched.

We had an AMAZING night! This place was so much fun! The cocktails, the food, the entertainment, the waitstaff….it was great! This place will not disappoint.
