Mundaca Divers is the best! We had a great experience today. Ruby and Silver are the best dive guides ever! Very professional, accommodating and friendly. The boat Captain was equally professional and friendly. You are in good hands with Mundaca Divers! We will be back! Probably tomorrow! (If the weather cooperates).

We went on the whale shark snorkeling tour and the staff at Mundaca divers made this excursion absolutely unforgettable. We saw about 20 sharks and swam with half a dozen of these amazing creatures. The dive masters were knowledgeable and did everything to make it the best experience for everyone on board. I would definitely recommend Antonio and Mundaca Divers to anyone wanting to dive or snorkel in Isla Mujeres.

I went diving with them and was a bit disappointed.. not all the information they gave me were right (especially about the price). Then I told them I was seasick and that it wasn't a good idea after all, and they told me they had a "miracle" pill for me, only to convince me to do it and pay 150 $.. Unfortunately I've been throwing up 3 times on the boat. Moreover I paid 40$ to get pictures of me.. I couldn't do the dives because I was seasick, and didn't get any pictures of me.. they didn't even offer to give me the money back, I had to ask them myself on the next day.. they finally accepted to give me the 40 $ back, but they were asking for a tip.. Guess they are more interested in money than the well being of their clients. Pity!

We loved diving with Mundaca Divers. We had 5 beginners and one certified diver. The team was down to earth, professional, really friendly and entertaining. We loved the entire experience. We will come back and will recommend to our friends.

This was an exceptional experience on our trip to Mexico. From the first time we meet our instructor, Arturo, to the very end, where we celebrated our new certificate, we had so much fun. It was safe and serious environment, yet the owner and all the other people from Mundaca were entertaining, local and amazing. I can nothing but recommend this place for people taking a diving certificate.

Without a doubt the best snorkeling excursion I’ve ever done. Our guide Ruby couldn’t have been sweeter or more attentive to our needs. I felt very safe out on the water with her, which is important because it’s easy to get separated from your group. The day we went out we had maximum clarity up to depths of more than 20ft but the highlight was definitely the shallower reef by the lighthouse. We saw an unbelievable variety of the most beautiful tropical fish and coral- barracuda, groupers, angelfish, damsels, you name it! Truly unforgettable.

Wow! From start to finish an absolutely wonderful experience. Truly a bucket list item completed! Antonio the owner was always available and easy to communicate with in English. The crew, Daris, Ruby and Silver were fantastic, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We had a private group which is the way to go if you have enough people and our captain managed to put us in the perfect spot each time. After you dropped in and looked up, you found yourself face to face with the peaceful whale shark and then got to swim beside it. Unreal! Make sure to get their early as it gets crowded later on. Thankfully we had all got to go already so Ruby made us some delicious Ceviche and they took us snorkeling, once again dropping us off and picking us up in the perfect position as the tide moved us past schools of fish that were massive. If you go I highly recommend Mundaca Divers, just as my friend recommended them to me.

I found Mundaca Divers by accident after changing hotels due to one hotel's booking mishap and I'm so glad I did. Not only were they competative in their pricing for the Whale Shark tour, but the trip itself was amazing. Absolutely the best guide and boat captain that I could have wished for. Repeat attempts to get a good sightings for everyone until we were all satisfied. The crew was mindful of the safety of the participants AND the Whalesharks while being clear on the rules of engagement with the big fishies. Many "perks" (lunch and beverages) on board and a nice snorkel stop with delicious ceviche and chips to keep the guests fueled. There is no better value than this tour by Mundaca Divers. The following day I did two dives with them as well. Despite being a slow day for all the shops, and I being the only diver booking that day, they STILL made arrangements for a private dive. It was delightful and the dive guide was patient as I got my dive skills back in order (it had been a while). Do support Mendaca, a small family owned shop (which I always love). Thanks!

Very awesome experience!! Me and my friends went to the shop and he was available right then for us to scuba dive and for my 3 friends to snorkel. The dive was excellent and seen a lot of reefs and fishes. The girls loved the snorkeling and seeing the reef. The staff was excellent and nice I’ll definitely be going back as all of you should

We spend a really good time diving with this company. We just walk in to the diving center without appointing it any earlier, Mario managed to organize boat within half an hour, we went diving with 2 tanks per person, spoted some morenas, lobsters, lion fish and a cat shark. Cold drinks were included. After all, Mario send us videos and photos, he took during the dive. Price was resonable.

Our second time diving with Mundaca dive,and we will continue to dive with them anytime we return to Isla Isla Mujeres. 7 years ago after doing a whale shark adventure with them we signed up for a discover scuba trip to dive MUSA. I was previously certified but was way out of date and my wife had never considered diving as a thing she could do. Antonio and the staff made her feel so comfortable and helped her through her first dive experience that now 7 years later many five certifications and family adventures behind us we returned to Mundaca for our youngest son (11yrs) to do his discover scuba and our first dive together as a whole family…it was perfect. MUSA and Manchones Reef were beautiful. Mundaca dive welcomes you to the island and the beautiful waters around it with excitement and charisma. They are a small shop and offer you personal attention, don’t question it just dive with Mundaca!

Amazing experience with the team at Mundaca! Saw so many turtles was the best ever. Did another dive around and through some reefs and caves which was also amazing. Would 100% recxomend!

I was planning a first-time trip to Isla Mujeres with 3 other friends and I found Mundaca Divers while searching through TripAdvisor reviews. I decided to book 3 days of diving (2 dives each morning) as well as a whale shark tour with them. This is a great dive shop with such wonderful people working here. Antonio, the shop owner, was so kind and knowledgeable. Our DM Rodolfo was fantastic and took us to great spots. The other team members including our boat captain were awesome too. We had a jr open water diving with us so our dives were “shallow” - 30-40 feet but even so - saw TONS of stuff, large schools of fish on the reef, some of the underwater sculptures at MUSA, and TURTLES (it was mating season) including a mating pair with the stragglers following behind. And of course, the beautiful reef was very vibrant and colorful at the shallow depths. It was pretty early in Whale Shark season, we did a private tour, so it was just the four of us as well as the crew. Another boat had spotted a Whale Shark so we honed in on it too. In pairs, we were able to jump in the water and swim alongside it. We could have kept searching for sharks, however, we decided to head back and have a long snorkeling stop and a lazy ride back to the marina. There was snacks and fresh ceviche. We brought some beverages onto the boat as well. It was really an amazing day, I highly recommend a private tour like this instead of a larger tour. Would 100% come back again and dive with Mundaca. We left the island with new friends :)

I had a really great experience doing my open water certification with the guys at Mundaca - the owner, Antonio, is a wealth of knowledge and the instructor, Mario, was really patient and experienced. My nerves evaporated the second we got in the water - the reef dives were beautiful and I felt completely safe. I was travelling alone which can be a problem for some tours, but they had no trouble booking me in: even when other customers cancelled, they took me out alone and I was lucky enough to have private open water lessons. Would 10/10 recommend!

Very good Dive experience with Antonio and the instructor Mario. We were able to do multiple dives and finish my sons open water dives for his certification(referral). Would highly recommend to others.

Fabulous whale shark snorkeling adventure with our guide Dany and Captain "El Hermano" at Mundaca Divers! We arranged for a private boat for a family of five and were not disappointed. El Hermano expertly steered us to the best places to swim with the whale sharks, and Dany ensured we would be well-positioned to swim as close as possible to these majestic creatures. Dany also used his GoPro to take some amazing videos of our experience. The half-day adventure included a fantastic lunch and unlimited drinks aboard, as well as an additional snorkeling tour north of the island near a channel marker called El Farito, a good spot on the reef. Friendly service and professional staff on board. Antonio (Tony) helped us with booking arrangements. Would definitely recommend Mundaca Divers for a whale shark expedition off Isla Mujeres!

Super friendly dive centre who welcomed me as a solo diver. Felt safe and managed to fit me in to a group with different levels of students and give everyone the experience they were looking for. Lovely diving and enjoyed seeing the underwater art museum. Would highly recommend!

I had the chance to have an initiation at this centre and it was one of the most amazing experience of my life. The instructors were really helpful and reassuring even though I was a bit anxious at the beginning. Usually scuba clubs don’t do initiations when there are not enough people on the tour which is complicated when you’re travelling alone like me, but they did it anyway so I had a private lesson and they made me progress extremely quickly! They bring their go pro with them if you want souvenirs. They were also extremely nice, I would recommend 100%!

Antonio and Mundaca Divers are the best on Isla Mujeres! My fiancee and I did a two tank dive to Punta Negra and the shipwreck, and it was amazing. Very professional captain and dive masters. The shipwreck was incredible, and Punta Negra has the most underwater life that I've ever seen. They also helped to fix a malfunctioning regulator at no cost, which was above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this shop.

My boyfriend and I went snorkeling with Ivan (aka Dreamer 😃) over spring break. I had never been snorkeling before and was kind of nervous, but Ivan made the entire experience amazing! He was extremely patient and took us to multiple locations. He was really funny and wildly entertaining on the boat. Antonio and Chris in the office were really helpful and ensured we had a great time. I wholeheartedly recommend Mundaca Divers and we plan to go scuba diving with them this summer when we go back to Isla Mujeres!
