I'm writing this review 3 weeks post op. I traveled from Las Vegas for Dr. Uribe to perform an implant change, lift, and nipple shaping on me. From the very beginning, communication with Dr. Vargas was quick, clear, pleasant, and helpful. I was nervous about having such a big procedure done in Mexico, but she answered all my questions and made the process so easy. She arranged appointments at local lab for bloodwork and an ultrasound leading up to the surgery, and always gave clear guidance on what to expect. The surgery itself was done in hospital Amecae. It was clean with kind nurses and helpful staff. For my overnight stay after surgery, I was given a private room with an ensuite bathroom and futon for a guest. I am beyond thrilled with my results! Dr. Uribe is meticulous and took his time to map out the perfect proportions and ratios for my body type. It was clear throughout the process that he takes pride in his work and enjoys creating beautiful results. In addition to my breasts, he removed a few moles, did a small fat transfer to my face to straighten my nose, lift my eyes, and fill my lips, then added some Botox to my forehead. Everything was done with a high level of quality and care, and at an incredible price. By the time I left, it felt as though Dr. Uribe and Dr. Vargas were more than just my doctors, they were friends. I can't recommend them highly enough, and am looking forward to returning to Cancun to see them again!

I traveled to Cancun for my birthday on 2/9/2022 and got hurt time we got to our room. The door of the hotel slammed on my finger and partially amputated my ringer finger on my right hand. I went to the hospital and Dr. Uribe was called in. He immediately told me that he would be able to save my finger(any of the doctor would have cut the tip of my finger OFF). He takes me into surgery and perform a full thickness flap. I was worried and didn't know if my finger was going to make it bc my finger was really black and had a blood clot within days. They told me not to worry and to trust the process. As time went on I had to have another surgery to separate the fingers. I was told then that I might lose the tip. Dr. Uribe video chatted with me and said my finger was going to be fine. It's now 5/17/22 and Dr. Uribe was on point for everything he said. My finger has healed and I'm on my way to a normal life again. I'm truly thankful for the doctor and staff. They were amazing. Highly recommend him!!!

I came here after a botched surgery in Mexico City, I had breast implant and lift done. I had a couple other things done at the same time, which I didn't realize was a big risk. Pretty much everything went wrong. I cried my first day in the clinic with Dr. Oribe and Dr. Vargas. But they explained everything to me in detail, they reassured me and did everything they could to help me. I needed more surgeries to fix what went wrong. I ended up going to the clinic every week for nearly 6 months. They went way way above and beyond to help me. I don't even know what I would of done without them. Beyond grateful for what they did for me. They really care about their patients and you can tell.

As someone traveling from out of town I was VERY skeptical about giving money or doing business in Mexico. I was worried about being scammed. I had the BEST experience with my surgery here. VERY VERY VERY Profesional and went 10 steps out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The follow up visits and checking on me was also amazing. 6 months later after my surgery I would still feel comfortable giving them a 12 on a scale from 1 to 10.... thank you so much!

I hope you do your research, into which doctor to go with, better than I did my first time around. On my second try I went with Dr Uribe and I am most happy about it. The procedure went well, the recovery was much faster. He goes the extra mile, and is compassionate about his clients, which is very important in this business.

I can't begin to say enough about this place and both of the Doctors I had. I am very happy with my extended tummy tuck and the extra skin taken off of my arms. I'm only 3 weeks out so can't wait to see the final healed up results. These guys are so professional and above all very nice. Would recommend to anyone and I am hoping to go back after time has healed and have my legs done also. Thank you guys so much!!

I had an amazing experience with the doctors! They were absolutely the best I could have asked for. I decided to get a rhinoplasty in beginning of April, I contacted the doctors and asked if I could come end of May. They worked with my schedule and we were able to make my surgery happen all in one month! I even went with my mother who got eyebag surgery! Communication is great! I will admit, Dr. Uribe only speaks Spanish, BUT, his assistant doctor speaks perfect English and communication was NEVER an issue. Pricing was upfront and straightforward, recovery was easy. I will definitely be coming back to them if I want anything else done.

I am an RN from Canada, I travelled to see Dr Uribe 2 times in the past year for 2 different surgeries. The booking process was seamless with Dr Vargus, especially with translation. The first surgery I had was a mid facelift with fat transfer, and a year later I am beyond happy with the results! My scars are non-existent, his technique is unbelievable! I also had a mole removed, a nipple reduction in length (post-breastfeeding) and a scar revision to my abdomen with a fat transfer to smooth it out. I have never felt more confident in a surgeon's care, ESPECIALLY with my face.Dr Vargus was very supportive post-op with follow-ups, check-ins and medication needs. I will be returning to see Dr Uribe and Dr Vargus for any surgical procedures I need.

I’m writing this one month post-op. I had an arm lift, thigh lift and 360 lipo in Nov 2022. It was an ambitious effort for me a 20 lb overweight frumpy 63 year old. From the first contact through surgery and post op, it felt like a team effort with Dr Uribe and Dr Vargas. Blue Medical Plastic Surgery has the plastic surgery tourism down to perfection. Hotels, blood work, cardiologist and hospital AMCAE are all top notch. Dr Uribe is an artist with a scalpel. He turned my 63 yr old body into a 30 year old version of myself. Fat was injected into my face to contour it. It looks so much more natural than fillers and Botox. Dr Vargas is a gem of a person. She’s smart, ambitious and fun. I very much appreciate and recognize they went above and beyond for me as I traveled by myself from Orlando, FL to Cancun for this procedure. I can’t thank them enough for changing my life and making me feel like my younger self again. Together they’re a dynamic duo!

I have never had any surgeries done and I reached out back in March to Dr. Vargas & Dr. Jorge Uribe I planned my surgery for September with that being said I got 2 surgery’s a breast augmentation as well as lipo / with fat transfer to get rid of my hip dips & this was my first time leaving the USA I came all the way from NM . The whole entire time leading up to my procedures I had millions of questions / concerns and they were constantly answering everyone of my questions being so polite and helpful giving me all the answers I was looking for ! Communication was excellent...Dr. Alexandra Vargas speaks excellent English and stayed in touch via Whats App. She made sure I was a good candidate for rhinoplasty, and I scheduled an open date for surgery. Upon meeting Dr. Jorge Uribe Kalafatic, he looked at me and immediately commented on the "filler" in the bridge of my nose. I was shocked. I had that done FIVE years ago!! Very impressive. Amazing experience. Came from Florida for my husband to have a lipoma removed. Dr. Uribe and his staff were very responsive and informative from our first contact. They answered all of our questions before the procedure and made it a point to check with us repeatedly after the procedure. Will definitely consider them for any future plastic surgery needs.

Dr. Uribe has a hand of God and is a great human being. His team are efficient and really look after you. Im very thankful for them. I had a small procedure under local anesthesia by would recommend my mom to him. Im fifth day, post procedures and no pain. I would be happy to share before and after for those interested.

I am about 10 days post op. All I can say is Dr Uribe & Dr Vargas are an amazing team. I ended up having my abdomen fixed as it was 7cm apart, Tummy Tuck, Lipo & Contouring. My surgery was really invasive and I couldn't ask for a kinder or helpful medical team. Dr Vargas dealt with my constant msging with concerns, and she was nothing but kind and reassuring. I 1000% made the right choice. My outcome is so amazing and they definitely made this mama feal like herself again. I will post pics once my suit is off. The nurses at the hospital were beyond sweet, so a special shout out to them as well.

Procedures: Rhinoplasty, Buccal fat removal, and chin liposuction I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Dra. Alexandra Vargas and Dr. Uribe. From the moment I reached out to them they were very responsive and accomodating to my needs. I inquired about the rhinoplasty procedure first and explained to them that when I was 17 I had been involved in a car crash where my nose was impacted and had unfortunately not received the proper surgery or care in the U.S. I submitted my photos and scheduled the consultation and appointment for May 2023. Later on, I asked them if I could also have the buccal fat removed and the chin liposuction which they had no problem with. Two weeks ago I had my surgery and I couldn't be happier! I'm still a little swollen and recovering but I can already see a huge difference on my nose and face. I can't wait to see the final results! Thank you Dra. First of all I have to say before making my decision of having surgery I went to 3 different doctors in Cancun, and no one took the time and concerns that Dr. Uribe and Dr. Vargas had with me. They went through every detail you can imagine from explaining, asking questions, answering all my concerns and making me feel so comfortable and at ease. Its amazing to know that Dr. Uribe can understand exactly what I wanted to have and he did exactly what I asked for. I can’t imagine doing what I did any other place. I’ve never had any work done, so naturally I was very nervous, especially going in with a heart condition. Blue Medical have been beyond patient with me and had no issues answering any questions and quite fast for that matter. They have the best costumer service system I have ever experienced and the procedure (although a hard one for my body) felt quite easy. The staff are 10/10, everything is so clean, they made me feel truly heard and cared for. After meeting the staff at my consultation, I went in feeling confident and comfortable with everything. I’m so glad I chose this team to trust. I will 100% be back for any future procedures and recommend this place to all of my friends. Don’t think about coming to Blue Medical. Just do it, you’re saving yourself so much trauma. Ps. Most places forget about you once finished with your procedure, they consistently kept in touch and have been asking how I’ve been doing since leaving.

I recently had Breast reduction ,lift and implant replacement with Dr. Uribe. from my first consultation back in February of this year until my surgery in November the communication back-and-forth was amazing with Dr. Vargas leading the way. I had a great experience getting a septorhinoplasty here in January 2023. Dr Vargas makes communication very easy and she responds very quickly. It is obvious Dr Uribe is detail-oriented and takes pride in his work. Dr Vargas checked in on me several times after surgery and was always responsive to my questions. Overall my experience was pleasant and I always felt comfortable.

I went to Dr. Uribe and Dr. Vargas for an otoplasty. I spoke with many other Dr.'s and these two made me feel the most secure about the whole procedure. It was my first plastic surgery, and it could not have gone better. Communication was excellent before, during, and after the surgery. The Dr.'s continue to communicate with me over a month later, regularly checking on the progress. I would absolutely have another procedure done here, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent plastic surgery work at a fair price in a beautiful location.

My cousin and I went we had Botox and fillers. They are very professional, and do a very good job! They were able to accommodate us next day, and took the time to do each one of us thoroughly! I definitely would recommend this place , prices are reasonable. I will be there again!! :)
