I
love
this
gym!
I'm
a
Canadian
who
vacations
in
Mexico
quite
often
and
Cancun
is
frequently
my
start
point
because
of
the
unbeatable
cheap
flights.
This
time
I
decided
to
stay
a
couple
of
weeks
in
Cancun
before
heading
out
to
other
areas
just
to
relax.
I
stayed
at
a
nearby
apartment
hotel
and
needed
somewhere
where
I
can
do
swim
lapses
and
workout.
The
hotel
manager
told
me
about
this
gym
that
was
owned
by
Alex
Rodriguez.
I
was
only
in
the
area
for
a
week
(another
week
at
a
hotel
further
away
that
had
a
gym)
.
The
wonderful
kind
young
woman
at
the
reception
(
I
forgot
her
name,
I
got
her
to
write
it
down
but
lost
the
paper..
she
is
THE
BEST
and
NICEST
SWEETEST
PERSON
who
works
there!!)
served
me
and
got
me
ready
with
a
one
week
membership.
She
is
the
only
one
who
spoke
perfect
and
fluent
english
and
from
what
I
hear
she
wants
to
learn
french
too!!!
I
paid
900
pesos
(
$65)
for
an
unlimited
membership
including
the
use
of
the
pool,
hot
tub,
showers,
towels,
exercise
machine,
weights
and
exercise
classes
including
aquafit,
spining,
Zumba.
Incredible
deal.
Yes
..
its
pricey
but
most
places
I
vacation
at,
do
not
allow
one
week
memberships
or
daily
visit
fees.
Energy
gym
does
plus
they
also
have
daily
visit
fees
of
$300
pesos.
The
super
nice
front
desk
woman
gave
me
a
tour
of
the
gym.
Amazing.
People
there
are
also
pretty
serious
about
fitness.
I
feel
bad
to
say
that
in
the
whole
week
that
I
was
there
I
planned
to
use
the
facilities
every
day
twice
a
day
but
only
managed
to
go
5
out
of
7
days
once
a
day.
I
did
an
hour
lapses
at
the
pool
.
It
wasn't
perfect.
The
pool
got
really
crowded
at
the
times
that
I
went
and
2
people
in
a
lane
was
really
though
as
the
lanes
are
very
narrow
and
small.
There
are
4
lanes
all
together.
The
middles
ones
are
for
fast
and
medium
swimmers
while
the
side
lanes
are
for
slow
and
leisure
swimmers.
The
pool
water
was
slightly
cooler
which
I
did
not
like.
Although
there
is
a
lifeguard
on
site,
he
is
not
always
present
and
watching
over
the
safety
of
swimmers.
If
you
are
swimming
during
an
aquafit
class,
the
music
is
so
loud
and
unbearable,
it
makes
the
swimming
not
enjoyable.
The
changes
room
is
big
and
spacious.
Your
access
card
is
also
the
card
that
locks
and
unlocks
you
locker.
Blow
dryers
are
available
and
so
is
soap
in
the
showers.
Shower
water
is
unfortunately
not
hot.
It
gets
warm
and
then
start
getting
less
and
less
warm
after
10
minutes.
The
sauna
is
AMAZING!
It
is
amazingly
relaxing.
It
is
located
in
the
woman's
change
room
and
right
beside
it
is
a
steam
room.
I
did
not
like
the
steam
room
too
much
as
I
found
every
time
I
went
in
there
was
a
bad
smell!
I
did
not
get
to
use
the
equipment
this
time
but
I
really
hope
that
next
time
I
will!
The
gym
has
two
floors
filled
with
treadmills,
elliptical,
spinning
bikes,
free
weights,
even
a
stair
climbing
machine
that
I
have
never
seen
before.
There
is
a
coffee/juice
bar
right
beside
the
reception,
just
like
most
modern
gyms.
There
are
many
people
during
the
day
but
since
there
are
so
many
exercise
machines,
there
is
always
space
to
workout.
I
found
my
gym
in
Cancun
and
I
highly
recommend
it
to
anyone
who
are
not
only
tourists
staying
in
a
hotel
with
no
gym
but
locals
who
want
to
stay
fit
too!
This
is
an
awesome
place.
