We booked the jungle cruise excursion with my resort, Sandos. Which was about a 15 minute walk - I paid $70 with my hotel and $15 in tax at the site, per person. I booked this last minute so I’m thankful they took us in! PABLO was our guide and he was amazing! First, we got our own little speed boat which was cool! We followed Pablo in a straight line to our snorkeling spot. We did go through some “bushes” to get to the spot, which must have been the jungle. The snorkeling spot was actually a good 20 minute boat ride away, which meant more time to boat! Pablo explained everything and gave good instruction. We swam and saw so many fish and the reef. He pointed out a sting ray, which freaked me out but was cool for sure. One girl in our group didn’t like swimming and he had her hold onto a life ring, which he carried around, and assisted her the whole time, which was sweet. The whole experience was about 2 hours. I had a blast! I recommend Pablo, and if you’re happy with his service like I was, please tip him/your guide!!

We had a great time with diving tour. It was our first time diving and they did a great job with pre dive training and procedures. I dove with my two kids who had never dived before as well. Equipment was in great shape and boats are well kept. Samuel, our diving instructor, was a key player and was very thorough and excellent diving professional. He looked after our safety as well as guided us through the beautiful reef of Musa and Isla Mujeres area. Highly recommend them for expert or beginner diving experience.

Used them for speed boat tour and scuba diving. 5 stars for speed boat tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure everyone had fun and was safe. 2 stars for the scuba diving trip to musa and reef. The guides were arrogant, gave little instruction on equipment and had little patience. They were however very motivated to flirt with fellow passengers and play loud music. They may want to consider running a party boat instead of scuba tours. 2 stars for business model. Prepare for extra fees, for mooring permit, equipment and of course the heavily overpriced photo packages.

I was part of the big Huish dive group on Tuesday February 8. We were on one of the morning boat trips. The captain and crew were great and worked very hard. I know that dealing with large groups can be challenging. I skipped the first dive and just did the second dive. The reef was very healthy and there were an impressive number of fish. We saw so much great stuff. A big thank you to the captain and fabulous crew for giving us a safe, super fun experience that was the highlight of our trip.

Decided to do the island day trip to Isla Mujeres through our hotel Fiesta Americana. Aquaworld was directly across the street from the hotel, within a quick 5 minute walk. Got on the boat, met some fun people, and the crew want you to have nothing but a good time. The bartenders served drinks to and from the island, and they were far from stingy serving drinks! The crew introduced themselves, and each person was packed with personality that made the trip fun and interesting. We got to Isla Mujeres where the boat docked, and everyone got off for a few hours for food, drinks and exploring the island. We took the golf cart option, and cruised the island for an hour checking out scenic views, ruins, food / fruit stands, and beautiful homes overlooking the ocean. The food served buffet style was excellent, plentiful, and our waiter was over and above with service! Hung out for a while, got back on the boat, and they took us up to the North beaches where we docked for a couple more hours. We decided to head to downtown, and do some souvenir shopping, when we ran across Los Mariscos de Humo, a friendly and affordable local bar / restaurant. We had drinks, but the food looked and smelled exceptional. Got back on the boat, and arrived back at the docks for a completely fun filled day. We will definitely do it again, next time we are out in Cancun - Hats off to Boat #6 for a great day! Thank you

My review is for the Snorkeling/MUSA tour. I will say it was well organized. All smooth and on time. I booked it through Get Your Guide and was easy to show up and get your ticket. Staff were all generally friendly and welcoming. You have maybe a 30 minute ride to their floating platform. Get a brief introduction. Given life jackets/belts (which annoyingly are mandatory for everyone). Have a quick (and I mean very quick) tour with a guide around some of the statues. Then you get free time. Can stay as long as you want with free drinks, but the boat back leaves hourly. Overall it wasn't too bad, but having snorkeled in some amazing places around the world, the snorkeling itself was nothing special (most of it very shallow, and water clarity not the best). Saw 1 turtle and a bunch of barracuda, a few cool fan corals, but that's about it. I would almost say it's probably more ideal if you've never snorkeled before (some families seemed to enjoy it). However the snorkel tour with the guide was way too fast. Half the group gave up quickly (they did have small kids and someone else wasn't that comfortable in the water), so only 5 of us went. We did see a lot of the statues which was why I wanted to come here, but had about 5 seconds at them (if we stopped at all). Stopping to take a photo, and attempting to try and dive down (wearing the life belt), and I was left at the back. I'm a strong swimmer, and constantly getting left behind it was hard/tiring to try and keep up. The statues would be hard to find again on your own during your free time (and pretty far), so would have been nicer if it was a little slower, and maybe gave a bit more info about them. I was glad I did it, but would say it's probably overpriced by 25%. Also you're not meant to wear or put on any suncream there (to help protect the corals). However I highly recommend putting some on before you go (ideally a reef safe one if possible). I did wear a reef safe one before I went (apart from my back where I couldn't reach) and my back got badly burnt. A bunch of the kids left super sunburnt too - so it is worth putting on. They should really only sell the reef safe stuff in their shop or have some at the platform for you to use (included in the cost).

Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Our experience with Aquaworld was largely positive, though there were a few hiccups along the way. We took advantage of a package deal offered through our hotel. Jungle Tour and MUSA: ★★★★★ (5/5) Navigating a boat through a jungle and snorkeling by coral reefs made the Jungle Tour a stand-out experience. As for MUSA, our first scuba diving adventure was nothing short of magical. After a quick 40-minute pool class, we were all set to explore, no certification needed. Catamaran to Isla Mujeres: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) The catamaran trip was enjoyable but hampered by two main issues: an exhausting 1.5-hour wait to board and a distractingly loud atmosphere during the journey. Food & Drink: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) The buffet lunch on Isla Mujeres was disappointing, mainly due to a noticeable number of flies landing on the food. This area could use some attention. Time on Isla Mujeres: ★★★★☆ (4/5) We had 2.5 hours to roam the island. Renting a golf cart is advisable, but time is tight if you're planning to visit the Mayan ruins at Punta Sur and return. The rest of the island is quite crowded, and sitting on the beach comes with a $30 USD charge. Also, don't expect many vendors to speak English. Final Thoughts: While Aquaworld presents some unforgettable moments, particularly the Jungle Tour and MUSA, there are aspects that could be improved. It's worth considering, but set your expectations accordingly.

We tried speed boat and snorkeling tour! One of the best tours and highlights of my Cancun trip! I think my trip would be so much less fun and amazing without this experience! Highly recommended!! Was definitely fun to drive the speed boat and the snorkeling was amazing! We managed to see squids, many kind of fish and sea plants! Julio was very friendly and helpful with guiding through every step of the tour! If you want to try any tours in Cancun, this is the one for you!

We did their Jungle Tour Speedboat adventure. The tour guide was very helpful and made sure we were safe during the tour. He was accommodating and answered all of our questions. Was also easy-going and had a good sense of humour. It was our first time driving a speedboat, much more in the open ocean. It was a really nice experience. We also got to see so many different types of fishes when we were snorkelling around the reef. Would definitely recommend trying out their activities.

I wish I could give aquaworld more than 5 stars, these were the best experiences we had here. We booked the jungle tour and the Isle Mujeres trip. They were excellent and super reasonably priced experiences ($110 per person for both). The isla mujeres day trip was exceptional - but be prepared for a booze cruise + a lot of action for the day on the island. It includes a few hours at the south end of the island where you can relax on nice beach chairs. If you want to rent a golf cart for $30 for an hour, you can drive the south loop. I highly recommend this, although wish we had an entire day to do that and explore. I can sit on the beach at the hotel so I would recommend the golf cart for sure. You get unlimited food and alcohol. The food was, as you’d expect, bulk made and not very good, I didn’t eat much at all. Afterwards you head to the north end of the island and it’s the super touristy strip by the beach - the beach is very crowded but cool to see, and tons of little shops to check out. We didn’t feel unsafe during any of it, if anyone is worried. Most of all, the staff is absolutely amazing, super entertaining, accommodating, fun, and I wish I could be their friend in real life. The jungle cruise is a cool opportunity to drive a small 30HP boat over to a snorkeling spot and back in < 2 hours. It was pretty fun all in all even with mediocre weather we had. Again the staff was amazing here and he was a lot of fun, showed us around the coral, and explained the boat and trip well up front. If you are looking for something to do to get out of the hotel, but don’t want to venture downtown and instead do something more action-y…I can’t recommend this crew enough.

My friend and I went on the scuba diving excursion a few days ago and had a blast. Though it was an all day affair we had so much fun. We met a bunch of really cool people and the instructors were entertaining from the start all the way to the finish. The pool training was well explained and kept me interested all throughout. Riding out to the location of the dive was scenic and given just the right amount of commentary by the crew. When it came to the diving portion it was seem less and we spent a lot of time enjoying the views of the reef. We even got to see a turtle munching on some snacks! All in all if you're looking for a reasonably priced vacation activity and want to get your feet wet, then I urge you to go check out Aquaworld. They have tons of other water activities you can enjoy besides scuba too. 10/10 would recommend.

We did the island day trip to Isla Mujeres. If you're looking for a booze cruise led by young men with club music blasting at full volume, sometimes with profanity-laced songs, this is the excursion for you. It was advertised as a family-friendly trip to us but I'd highly recommend not taking any children --not just for the above reasons but due to a few minor safety reasons as well. While it is relatively cheap ($70 per person for a 7 hour day), the crew makes up for it by hawking grossly overpriced golf carts (that they insist you rent from them) and encouraging you to buy cheaply made but steeply overpriced jewelry, etc. Keep in mind that many of the excursions listed in the day package are simply 20-30 minutes pit stops in order for them to be listed on their advertisements. Also, if you're not a strong swimmer, I'd recommend against snorkeling with them. At the very least, if you have any issues (such as with your mask), don't expect them to help you in the water and, instead, expect them to be upset at you for slowing down the group (you have to swim about 100 yards away from the boat to the snorkeling location). Suffice it to say but, a few hours into our day, I would've gladly paid extra to have my kids and me taken back to our resort then to finish out the 7 hour "party" offered by Aquaworld Cancun to Isla Mujeres.

My husband and I booked the snorkel tour from our hotel at Excellence Playa Mujeres and everything went smoothly! The boat picked us up at around 9 am and the operator and staff on the boat made us feel safe and comfortable. They offered us lots of water or beer. Our instructor Oscar was friendly and knowledgeable. We first snorkelled at a shallow reef, then parked at a sand bar and enjoyed Isla Mujeres for an hour, and then our last stop was snorkelling near a sunken boat. Our schedule was right on time and we got back to our hotel just in time for lunch. Such a fun experience! It was definitely a highlight for me and my husband!

Great place to do activities we did the jungle tour which was an activity where you drive a boat and a go snorkeling. I would bring a waterproof phone case with a strap to wear while you're in the water. 5/5 The jetski was 3.5/5 it would be better if they had more area to cover otherwise you're pretty much going in circles.

AquaWorld is located across the street from Paradisus by Melia. Great experience overall. It started with JJ. He is the salesperson working by the pool at Paradisus. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He explained things in great detail and wasn't pushy at all. He tailored the excursions to fit our needs. I purchased the 3 day fun package. During the isla Mujeres excursion, Mariano, who was part of the boat crew, was super energetic and fun, a great entertainer. Snorkeling was awesome. A young woman named Myros was always bringing us cold water and explaining everything we were seeing, very knowledgeable. AquaWorld tours were unbelievably fun! thanks for taking my vacation to another level, definitely coming back soon.

Went diving with them. They have it down to a science and make it so much fun. The dive help takes care of all of your equipment, including swapping out tanks. Underwater, they take you on a great tour. Highly recommend.

A good place for all sort of water sports and activities. Staff is friendly. Speedboat through lagoon was fun. Snorkeling was fun too but not the best coral one would expect. Reasonable price and experts to take care of fun trips. Highly recommended.

Great experience! Took part in the jungle boat excursion. Was awesome piloting our boat, (things really get moving!!) , safe adventure, life jackets provided, guided tour through the faster area then the slower mangrove sidewinder area. (great for pictures), then moored together (the boats) for snorkeling. Calm waters, attentive tour guides and an overall great experience.

Do NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO FISHING WITH THIS COMPANY. Save your money, go to a different company or don’t go fishing at all. Must unreliable fishing charter I’ve ever experienced. Cancelled the trip due to “wind”. The water is flat like glass and there is no wind. No communication from the business. Show up to be told that it’s cancelled, and with a complete BS reason. I’ve been fishing my whole life and have never had a trip cancel due to weather, especially when there isn’t any weather. Not a white cap on the entire horizon! Go to Cabo and go fishing, screw this place! Photo of sea for reference of weather at time of cancellation.

We booked a fishing charter here through our hotel while on our honeymoon. The pricing was great, especially for a deep sea charter. All three parties on our boat (6 people total on boat) caught great size sailfish and were able to take photos with our catches. We unfortunately had 2 guests get very seasick on the boat (my wife included) and the charter made the decision to take us back to help the sick passengers. Once we were back at the marina, they sat my wife down at the bar/lounge and provided her ice water and a fan to ease the seasickness symptoms. If we are ever in Cancun, I would definitely book another trip out with them.

Aquaworld is a great excursion destination!! The speed boats are a definite 10/10 Zipping through the mangroves, into the open ocean... SO much fun!!! The snorkel is great, but surprisingly tiring lol Our guides, Jose and Luis, were fantastic! Afterwards we did the parasail, also a great time... Would definitely do it again!

We did the scuba diving experience and it was absolutely amazing. All the staff and crew members were so sweet and helpful. The lesson first of all was so helpful and the instructor was explaining everything clearly and was so patient and kind to us. (We can’t remember his name we think it was Juan) Sam was with us for our actual dive and he was so wonderful. He made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time and showed us amazing parts of the reef. Would 100% recommend to do scuba diving with aqua world. The photo and video package is also a great deal.

Every time I plan a tour with this company it is as expected and beyond, I've been on numerous diving tours, from Musa, sunken ship and reef to bull shark dive, and every time it had been a great experience without disappointment, my son and I even got certified with them for open water diving. I would definitely recommend, and a big big thank you to Lo-lo and also to the professional shark feeders both of you were amazing, I will definitely be back to cancun to dive with this crew!!! https://youtu.be/-50XrP4xiE0?si=isaTNgJbOv-MWahZ
