Spacious airport with many amenities. However I had to pay for an immigration card when I wasn’t given one to begin with. The immigration guy asked how long my stay was and he stamped my passport and that was it. I think it’s a money grab honestly but I’ll know for next time to ensure I have that card and/or ask! The airport has so many restaurants, shopping stores, convenience stores and seating to do whatever you want to do.

Got the worst delta interviewer/security lady by terminal 3 gate C7 today around 11am-12pm, 5/23 Tuesday for my flight to New York. She was so rude and difficult to talk to. When we were told to get some stickers for the back of our passport, she grilled me with questions that was a bit surprising, like how many people’s in my family and was there kids and how old are they, these are very basic and simple questions but what shocked me more was her attitude and tone, we’re all here for vacation and just heading home but being treated like we’re criminals? That felt really odd and my first unpleasant interaction with her. When they started calling for boarding and people were lining up, she kept telling folks in the front to go to the side and wait by the seats (nice way of saying get out of her way) since they’re not priority. We were all still following instructions and waiting for our turn to board and she kept telling the group in front of me, “you’re last, go to the back and wait on the side” in a very condescending tone. Totally unnecessary, she could have politely directed folks to space out a bit if needed. The other line to the left had a guy who was so much nicer and people went through without a problem, I think at some point because she was so mean, everyone moved to the other side to go in. I mean if you hate your job so much, don’t make it miserable for other people… it was so unpleasant to have to talk or interact with her. I felt disrespected and this was probably one the worst boarding / check in process ever. Totally didn’t need that attitude from her for me or my group or anyone nearby trying to get on the plane. I traveled a lot and usually airport staff treats customers politely, so I was still processing the experience when it happened. I like flying with delta but this experience was awful :( maybe they just have mean security in Cancun? Everyone else was nice though except her. Almost making me want to put delta to the bottom of the list of airlines I want to fly with going forward… I seriously hope she gets better customer service training. Thinking back, I wish I wrote down her name so I could report the feedback to delta, it was not the right way to treat customers. She was probably the meanest person we met in Cancun on this entire trip. Bye bye Mexico!

In overall it's good. Very attentive airport personnel when one of us had to use a wheelchair. Seating area, toilets and lots of stores after checking in. But first problem is the slow immigration check, on arrival (we waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes). Then, outside, waiting for the transfers, there's a huge traffic of tourists and agencies employees. There's almost no seats near the airways companies.

The airport was very easy to navigate through to get to the jetBlue terminal. As you enter they take you temperature. I made down to the jetBlue section. I had no issues checking in with my paperwork for testing positive, recovery letter, passport, attestation paper and vaccine card. No more health forms...yeah Then off to TSA checkpoint and down to the food court. Make sure your mask are on at all times.

Lots of food & shopping options in terminal 4. Customs operates quickly for being such a busy airport. A few Business lounges in terminal 4 also. Just be sure to use the screens to check your departure gate, there are no overhead announcements about gate changes so you have to pay attention as the gates almost always change. Terminal 4: ATMs and cash exchange right at the check in (departure) door as well as convenience store and covid testing.

We had a pleasant experience from the moment we landed until the time we left. The customs process was fairly reasonable and we didn't have to wait too long in the queue. The staff were efficient and friendly, making us feel welcomed in the country. The airport itself was very clean and modern, with a wide range of stores and dining options to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety of shops and restaurants available, ranging from local Mexican cuisine to international brands. We enjoyed strolling through the airport and browsing through the different shops and got a souvenir for ourselves :-) The seating area was also spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax before our flight.

Although Cancun’s international airport is Latin America's third and Mexico's second busiest airport, the service throughout the airport was swift. The waiting times at customs and immigration, at the baggage claim, the check-in counters and at the security screening were short and – despite some areas needing improvement – the whole airport as well as the staff seem to be well-organized. There is a large duty free shop, a food court and a Mexican gift shop inside Terminal 4; other smaller shops are located aside the gates. Moreover, the restrooms and facilities were clean. Like in any other airport in the world, the prices are comparatively high for drinks, food and snacks. The only thing that was a bit annoying were the vendors of the rental car companies and taxi drivers that try to persuade guests shortly after leaving the baggage claim and clearing customs. Apart from this, Cancun’s airport is a busy but still well-organized international airport.

This is one of the worst airports I have been to. Before departure, you need to arrive at least 4 hours in advance, because there are crazy queues at the check-in counters and the employees work very slowly. On the baggage screening belts, the employees work disgustingly sloppy. There was a small bottle of water in my bag, they did not pull it out, but simply removed the container with my bag from the tape and carelessly put it on a high rack, without explaining anything. The container from the counter fell onto the tiled floor, and with it my husband's phones and mine. Luckily, nothing broke. The staff didn't apologize, nothing. Just awful. Taxi drivers in the courtyard of the airport shamelessly rip off passengers, calling exorbitant prices.

A big airport which is easy reachable with taxi or the Ado bus which is way cheaper. In my case, the terminal 3, everything was fine. Toilets are clean and good and also the shops looks interesting. But it's extremely expensive here. A beer in a shop was around 160 pesos.. a soda for 50 pesos which is fine tho. Also the sovenirs, don't buy them at the airport. It's so much cheaper in the country. Good flight for everyone and a save flight!

Feels more like a mall than an airport. Very low key. Stress free travel. Do feel free to ignore the folks selling you timeshares as you exit. Check out Johnny Rocket's for a delicious veggie burger!

This Airport has 4 terminals that are connected via shuttle buses that are very comfortable and frequent (although busy). There are tens of taxi drivers and tour package vendors outside each terminal; some of them are very insisting. In my experience, the immigration process was extremely slow. I was in a lineup of almost 60 people and the only had two agents and then one of them left. I was surprised that our plane coming from Chile had no gate assigned so we had to disembark in the tarmac. It was very hot and humid. The terminal 4 is the nicest, very clean, modern, and efficient. As for the other 3 terminals, they need a lot of work. Try to avoid this airport if you are in-transit.

Small airport, well organised and simple to get through. Sometimes you have to wait quiet a bit for Visa due to the many passengers of different Airlines that arrive in the same time-frame. After getting your Visa, you just need to get your luggage and get through customs. Exiting the airport you will follow the only path to a huge parking area that is packed with travelers and transport drivers/organisers. But luckily there's a welcome bar to calm down your nerves 😆

Arrival was basic to my wife & I, but departing was awesome! Lots to eat, drink, buy & see. Most seats empty too was a huge bonus.

Boarding pass processing on the first floor was a bit crowded, better than expected, and the staff was efficient. The second floor is better. It has restaurants and boutiques , easy to find something for someone you love, if you don’t care the price😉

Cancun International Airport was very well organized. The airport was very clean and it was very modern. The liquor store inside the airport was very big and had the tequila I was looking for. There is also a Harley Davidson store located in the airport and we were able to buy a poker chip for our collection.

Cute little airport with lots of food and shopping options. This airport is a shopper’s paradise! Things to note 📝 - Don’t worry about carrying cash. The stores here accept both cash and cards. - Unlike lot of other airports, the stores here are not over priced. - the souvenirs here were reasonably priced just the same as local markets. Tons of different options available as well. Truly a delight to shop here.

Incredible small for the size of the city and for its importance as a touristic hub, but luckily everything run smoothly, customs and international Police were diligent. I was warned before that many people will offer you rides, transport, and tourist packages at deals that will not be repeated anywhere else... it was true. They were on you like bugs... and even though I can deal with that, you have to be careful, since they even tell you they're part of the city airport and just wanted to help you. They insist and insist, where you're going?, that's the question to help you with maps and transportation... but in the end, they're just trying to catch you to sell you transportation, hotels, and any service you can imagine on behalf of the city... such a lie. Don't stop.

Nice and huge. So many stores and restaurants in here. Very clean. Easy check in and TSA lines were quick. Alot of traffic with so many flights coning in and out.

I utilized this airport very quickly, but I was left impressed. The airport had more of a mall feeling to it (which, with Cancun as an international tourist destination, isn't surprising), and i've never got through a thorough security check so fast in any airport before. They simply had enough gates open that there wasn't an exceptionally long wait (an airport tradition).

This airport honestly needs updates. We traveled through for a long weekend at the end of March. When we arrived to the airport it was extremely musty and smelled of urine. For our return flight, due to issues with our shuttle we arrived three hours early for our return flight. There are no charging stations, and very limited outlets available. Nor is there water available to the public. Your best option is a 7 dollar bottle of Evian at the convenient store.
