Loved this bucket list experience! It was amazing and so worth it. Everything is done very professionally. Niki, our guide was extremely helpful and very nice. He helped me to get close and I was able to film this dreamy encounter. Having said that, you can only go down 2 times, which feels very short. I wish a 3rd time was allowed. The snorkeling portion was very short, I wished it was longer, but our boat left late, so I think they were making up time. Overall, the experience is worth it and it’s so spectacular to swim with these beautiful creatures.

We had such a great time! Our guides worked hard to get everyone a good dive with the whale sharks. What magnificent creatures. It's truly a once in a lifetime experience. Just do it! I'm a big dummy and dropped my gopro into the ocean and they were kind enough to get some video for me and send me links to the trip photos. The weather was not kind at first, we got canceled due to high winds. We were able to go a couple days later. It was nice weather but still enough to make some folks seasick. One poor soul on our boat got extremely ill. I highly recommend you take some Dramamine before heading out if there's even the slightest chance you may get seasick.

What an awesome experience! Everyone we worked with on our 2 day adventure was excellent from the time of pickup at the hotel till the time they dropped us back off. Capt. Issac and Guide Sindy were second to none! They were helpful to everyone on the boat no matter if people were beginners or have spent hundreds of days at see! Of course the show stoppers were the Tiberon Ballena! Captain and the fleet found these magnificent creatures both days and made sure that each group on the boat was able to enjoy an up close experience! The, Paloma, was a comfortable ride to the whale shark grounds which are 1 to 2 hours from port depending on weather conditions. The groups seem to average about 10 people on each boat with a crew of 2. I highly recommend this outfitter to anyone wishing to experience whale sharks! We are already planning another trip in 2025! Hope to see you there!

If youre considering this excursion, dont sleep on it. It was amazing. We got to see 10-12 whale sharks but honestly the service is what made it good. Esteban the captain and Toto the guide were amazing. They made the experience so much better. Water can be kinda choppy so expect to throw up or take pills for sea sickness. Glad i picked this company for the tours. Im very picky when it comes to excursions and i did my research between all the companies in mexico and this one was the best. Again, dont overthink it too much. You wont regret it!! Isla mujeres was also amazing and estebans ceviche was THE BEST!!

Best tour ever. First of all, Julio was great at communicating and being flexible with the rescheduling due to weather issues. He was able to squeeze us in for a tour on our last day. Second, the shuttle was on time, transportation was quick. We were just 10 people on the boat and was not crowded at all. The sandwiches were delicious, not to mention the conch ceviche and fruits served at the boat. Most importantly, AGAIN THIS WAS THE BEST TOUR EVER. Here's why: 1) We saw 2 turtles mating in the middle of the ocean. Captain Juan got us within arm's reach distance 2) We saw a lot of whale sharks both on the boat while waiting our turn, and also underwater. Captain Juan was an expert in positioning the boat perfectly where the whale shark would swim right up to the boat and we could jump in right as its big mouth opened. It was amazing! We got to go in 3 times!! 3) We saw a huge pod of dolphins on the way home, they were groups of 5-10 breaching the surface, and if you dip your go pro under the boat-- there were a lot more dolphins! It was such a breathtaking experience. I'm so glad my husband and I were able to join. Our guide Brandon(?) Was very good at navigating us to the whale sharks and taking gopro footage of us swimming with the whale sharks. Amazing customer service. Highly recommend this tour company to everyone!

Fantastic place to use for experiencing the whale sharks. They got us close to see them and worked great as a team to make sure we all got to experience it. We also stopped to snorkel at one place and then and swam at Isle of Mujeres while the captain and the helper made Ceviche and guacamole. It was so so yummy!!!

We went on the whale watching tour on 4/7/22 with captain Issac and guide Cindy. Both of them were brilliant and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, we swam with whale sharks and did a snorkel over a ship wreck and saw lots of dolphins ! The lunch provided was ceviche and they catered for vegans too. (I did get sea sick but you can't control the waves) The ONLY negative is that the coffee at the marina wasn't good haha

Wow, I can’t recommend this place enough! Our captain Isaac and guide Cindy were amazing. I took the tour out of Isla Mujeres and trust me when I say that you will get your moneys worth! We were able to jump in with the whale sharks twice in a safe environment. The staff educated us on so much throughout the trip as well. We are yummy ceviche, a light breakfast, a delicious sandwich! & They even had a surprise stop at a sandbar in Isla Mujeres AND A SHIPWRECK DIVE (that could’ve been it’s own tour within its self). If you’re hesitating, stop and just book it! We were on the boat named Paloma and it was spacious and clean.

Overall a great experience. We was able to see over 60 whale sharks. Each boat has around 6 people on it so we was able to take turns and spend a long time in the water. A tip is that You need to be a good swimmer the sharks are fast and if you don't keep up with then you will not see them for very long. The crew was great and friendly but didn't really give us any idea what to do in the water,it took us our second time to get it completely. A side note our boat broke down and we were idol for 15 minutes. The captain fixed the boat but it was a bit scary.

Amazing experience! Brandon and Fernando were both such knowledgeable, friendly hosts! It was a once in a lifetime experience. We were worried we might not see anything being that it was the start of the season, but we waiting patiently and finally found them! Our entire crew took Dramamine which I recommend for being in a small boat far out into the ocean. Also after swimming with the sharks we stopped at Isla Mujeres for a nice swim.

We had an unforgettable experience with Mexico Whale Shark! Even on the last day of the season, we managed to see a couple different sharks of varying size and swim with them. Sindy, Isaac, and Julio were all super fun and helped us get the most out of the experience. After swimming with the sharks, we stopped at a fun spot to snorkel and then ate some delicious ceviche back on board. Overall it was an amazing day and I couldn't possibly recommend this company more!

Breathtaking experience, perfect organisation, professional approach of the guides. We were amazed! The tour included 2 dives with the whale sharks (our guide was ready to help us in the water in case of need) and also snorkeling on a coral reef. We saw mantas ray and turtles on the way... And the lunch (guacamole and fish sevish with nachos) was delicious! Thanks for everything, we can recommend you to everybody - it is worth it!

A great experience with a great crew! Cesar and Cindy were excellent. We chose this company based on Google reviews, and we were not disappointed! Their knowledge and hospitality were top notch! The whale sharks were absolutely breathtaking! Everyone should add this to their Cancun bucket list!

We had a fabulous experience with our whale sharks tour. Isaac was our captain and Cindy our your guide. They not only made our tour fun and personal, but also were extremely knowledgeable. We saw about 25-30 whale sharks, it was incredible!!! They had breakfast place where we met, and a sandwich and drinks on board. We stopped and a beautiful beach and had an awesome lunch of ceviche. We came with 4 young kids (14, 11,8 and 5). They were great with them, let them sit by them up front and we're so kind. It was an amazing day and would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

First off, the driver who picked us up couldn’t find us for over an hour. I guess they don’t have navigation in their vans. Then he was driving very aggressively and super fast. The people who hosted the tour were wonderful and took the time to try an find the whale sharks. They however didn’t have a vegetarian option for us, even after it was stated that earlier in an email. We did have a great time swimming with the whale sharks and that memory will be with us always.

This was our first day in Cancun and definitely the best day. Our guide Huesos(Bones) Edgar was amazing so friendly and enthusiastic he made the trip so much fun his excitement made the group just as excited. We also got lucky with the people in our group a family from Dallas,Tx. And the other from Temecula, Ca. which is only about 40 min from us and a city my kids and I used to live in. Seeing the whale sharks was absolutely an amazing event and would love to do again! Our captain was just as amazing sorry I don’t remember his name and only as El Capitán he was just as enthusiastic and made fresh ceviche right on the boat on our lunch break at Isla Mujeres. Just an amazing day.

We were apprehensive. Not about the whale sharks. We were so excited at the opportunity for that. But I'd read reviews of a long fruitless day of big-wave seas and seasickness. So we lucked out because our weather was perfect which made the boat ride itself a delightful excursion. We saw flying fish, a turtle and a huge pod of dolphins, racing our boat and breaching gleefully. Pure happiness! As for the whale sharks, it was only the second day of the season and the first day there had been no sightings. Of course the day before that, there had been 20. This is why they tell you sooooo many times, there are no guarantees. Our group of 10 tourists had eyes peeled and it looked like it was going to be a bust, but then two were spotted. We all got 2 swims with them and you really have to be ready to jump in and sprint swim to get close, unless they turn towards you and then...WOW! It was breathtaking. Deeply satisfying. Well worth it. Words don't do justice. As for our guide Brandon and captain Juan, they care, and they are skilled at getting everyone to experience the wonder. They are clearly just as thrilled when it all works out as the customer is. They said June and July are the months where there are lots more to see. And that's great. Just know that you will still only spend a few minutes per turn into the water because your guide wants you to be safe and accounted for, and for all to get equal turns. In fact, because there were only two whale sharks, we took two instead of three swims each because and they don't want to over stress these giant beauties. Which I applaud. I did not feel short changed. I felt like they care about the whale sharks.

Unreal experience snorkelling with Whale Sharks & we were lucky enough to encounter Manta Rays too. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and nice before and during the trip. Great stop at Isla Mujeres on the way back to finish the trip off, see photos. Highly recommended

Best tour ever!! After doing research on many companies, we decided going with this company and it was an amazing experience. From beginning at booking the tour to the day was great, always in communication if you need any info. Awesome crew; the captain and Cindy were super nice and knowledgeable about the whale sharks also willing to help at all times. Some people got sea sick and they immediately assisted in making it better. We saw sea turtles, whale sharks and went to Isla Mujeres beach to swim and we snorkeled at the underwater museum. Definitely book with this company Whale Shark Tour Cancun as you will not regret it!!!

Great Captin and crew they went above and beyond to make this a super experience. We had 5 or 6 different whale sharks in the area we swam in. Two things to note: 1. Remember when they say jump in don’t hesitate! 2. If you have a mustache (facial hair above the lip) the mask will seal better without it. The snorkeling after the shark swim was super too. The guide snorkeled with us and pointed out several sting rays in addition to a variety of fish. Don’t miss this opportunity to swim with these gentle giants.
