Buffet at this hotel serves food like for pigs, all mixed together. No flavours. Cakes at cafe terrible, the mixture of flour, sugar and water; coffee tastes like washed coffee pot. Eggs for breakfast made of powder. Oriental restaurant food terribly greasy, soups taste like washed soup pot, cakes taste like coloured bread, pink, green, blue. All three sit down restaurants serve disgusting food. Service is terrible, service people are not friendly The bartender at the Oriental bar treats you like “don’t bother me”. The hostess at the Oriental restaurant treats guests disrespect and zero courtesy. Front desk is the most terrible. Argue and argue and argue, no courtesy for guests at all. The front desk took copy of our passports without our permission. Please be aware of this hotel. Do not stay here. Americans are treated terribly at this hotel. If I could give them zero rating, I would. The front desk are the worst. Do not recommend this hotel.

Just got back from a week at this resort. I have been to Cancun roughly 10 times and been to many different resorts. This resort has it's pros and cons but I have stayed at better. The resort; the resort isn't big but isn't small. There are 2 pool. The pool that has the swim up bar doesn't have any entertainment. The main, bigger pool, has all the entertainment. The pools are also very chilly! I stayed in a deluxe oceanfront room- it was okay. View was fine, but the room could have been updated. The air either worked or it didn't. The mini bar was stocked daily which was great. The Food got old VERY fast. The buffet was small and there is only one- the food was also either very hot or very cold. They had a couple restaurants to make reservations at (AND GO EARLY!!) the Italian restaurant was by far the best! The oriental and hibachi were okay. The Mexican restaurant was by far very disappointing. They do have a steak house on site, but you have to pay ~$30 usd. We didn't go to that so I'm unsure how that food is. The also have a cafe opened from the AM until Midnight. They serve coffee, pastries, sandwiches and ice cream. And that was one of the best parts!! Dress Code- they do enforce the dress code at all restaurants. Guys will need to wear a shirt with sleeves no matter what. At dinner the guys will need long pants and closed toed shoes. Women can wear whatever... Staff- for the most of the trip all the staff were very nice. We felt that at some bars the bartenders were ignoring us or just simply not coming to us. Otherwise we found our favorites, and stuck by them most of the trip. Overall, since I've been to so many resorts I won't be coming back here because I have found others I like better. It could be a great resort for others, but I do believe there are better resorts in Cancun.

This review is for people like me who don’t know which review to believe and want all possible information about the resort . This resort had 4.6 rating plus was in the hotel zone so I figured it would be great . We stayed Dec 12-18,2022. 1. Airport to the resort cost us 35$ for a shuttle( after we were offered private taxi for 60$) 2. Check in was easy , you do pay daily taxes which came to 11$ for 6 nights 2 people. Right after check in you get send to the “promotion people” which was a waste of time. 3. Rooms: we paid for ocean view which turned out to be a small view between palm trees . Rooms are nice , a little outdated. Bathrooms are a nightmare ! You can’t go to the toilet without squeezing in between shower and the toilet . The shower has a space between the floor and glass so when you shower all water comes out . 4. Food: 1 buffet, Italian, Mexican and Asian restaurant. The buffet has very small variety and food isn’t great, we have been to Mexico and DR and we can’t even compare the food. The restaurants have pretty good food besides the Asian. The portions are so small that everyone we talked to said they had to go eat elsewhere after, to us the food was inedible. Make sure you make restaurant reservations the day you arrive for 3 nights ahead. The Asian restaurant has hibachi , you have to mention you want hibachi at the reservation. You also get one rooms service per day if you get more it’s 15$ per rooms service . 5. The resort is not huge it’s a perfect size and I would say it’s very family oriented . It def wasn’t catered to adult .All pools were nice and clean. Beach was also always clean but you only had small area to swim because of the danger of the waves . The cabana chairs are very old and most of them are ripped or dirty. The beach has barely any chairs unless you are under the umbrella . 6. Entertainment: the entertainment staff is great but the actual entertainment sucks . We were there for 6 nights and they had 2 karaoke nights , Mexican folklore, magic night, band night . Started at 9.30 and was over at 10.30pm . It was very disappointing because there was nothing to do for people between 25-60. The only party place is outside of the resort , coco bongo night club which will cost you around 100$ per person. We sat at a bar most nights sweating bc there was no ac. The entertainment during the day was also so so. They claimed to have a pool/foam party one day which turned out to be only a foam party in a blow out pool next to the actual pool. If you want nice calm getaway with mediocre food this place would be great , we definitely won’t return but I can’t say we had horrible time . If they fix their entertainment and food maybe we would.

I would definitely come back. The staff all around the hotel are always attentive, helpful and in a good mood. Everything was clean, there's was people cleaning the swimming pools every morning. The beach in front is nice, the adult only pool is great. The tours they offered had a discount so it was cheaper than other places but equally good. The only con in my opinion is taking so long with the membership presentation, people are on their holidays they don't really want to listen the same thing for 2 hours. The ideia of getting people in the middle of their dream holiday to sell it is great but making it a bit shorter would be less intrusive. At the end you get a Cancun holiday pack with bag, tequila and oversized T-shirts to try make you forget you spent 2h there.

originally planned to stay for 3 nights but tested positive for covid whilst there so quarantined in my room for 3 or 4 extra nights. Firstly, the quality of the food in EVERY restaurant is truly awful! I was left to my own devices after testing positive, no-one checked on me or offered anything in the way of additional assistance. in general the quality of service was poor also, with staff giving the impression they just do their job and nothing more... not particularly friendly or helpful. All-inclusive is always a gamble and this time it definitely did not pay off!

Beautiful resort & perfect for relaxing around the crystal clear pools and on the beach! Alicia made sure we stayed hydrated, delivering drinks to our lounge chairs with smiles! Ricardo Gonzales, from Guest Services, was an amazing host, professional and friendly. He would go out if his way checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted and helped with restaurant reservations. Exceptional service from the bartenders, servers, chefs and friendly staff. We are looking forward to our next stay!

To be honest this wasn’t the greatest experience. For a four star hotel it was more like a 2 star hotel. The food on offer wasn’t great, there were 5 restaurants of which one was $45 extra and had to book. I wouldn’t go for all inclusive, the breakfast at the Italian was the best one, which was mediocre at best. I’m confused by some of the reviews on here as clearly this is not a European standard! Some of the staff were helpful and accommodating but the rest where not as helpful. We had an incident where it showed that the place was not actually clean. (There was a used condom (with contents still in!!) in the bathroom behind the mirror) we hadn’t noticed until day 3 so clearly there was no thorough checks and clean. For this we were offered an upgrade for the last 2 nights of our stay and a meal at the extra charge restaurant. We didn’t accept as we didn’t see this a reasonable adjustment for our situation. This was a huge failing, it didn’t feel clean and it was not handled correctly. It was poor and to be honest I would never go back there even if you paid me.

Sadly displeased with this resort. As an avid vacationer at Cancun Mexico, I always come with an open mind with new resorts. This resort however has changed my view completely (and not for the better). To begin, I was welcomed with attitude and a very strict dress code when I went to the buffet. The simple buffet is however located directly before the beach. And I was told my open toed shoes were not allowed without socks and that my tank top (yes I wear a tank top when I go to the beach) was not allowed as well. When I questioned this I was responded with rudeness as if I was at fault for not already knowing there was a dress code for a literal buffet. Later in the evening, I went to enjoy drinks at the multiple beautiful bars in the resort. At one of the high end bars there was no music, not many people and no air conditioning. While I was sweating from the heat I had to wait 5 minutes for one of the two bartenders there for a drink. They walked past me multiple times and when I finally was given my drink it was almost as if their mentality was quantity versus quality. My drink was abysmal and I asked for a different drink(old fashion) and even that was wrong. Though that bar was continuously horrible the other bars located around the hotel are okay! Except that they close early and the pool closes at 8. Which is shocking for a high end beach resort where I flew for hours to relax and swim at. To make matters even better, the gym will cost you money to workout! Looking online before my travel I was insured by the website that there was a gorgeous spa and a beautiful gym. They were not wrong both are beautiful but the reason is that they charge 56 dollars if you would like to workout for the whole week. Or a simple charge of 8 dollars a day on top of the thousands already spent for the all inclusive* resort. Don’t forget to check the small text. And if you’re in your 20’s looking for a fun and up all night experience I would sadly say to look elsewhere. Such a same a beautiful resort such as this has so many tiny problems that outshine the positive aspects.

Our vacation lasted 9 days. The facility is nice and quite new. Not being in the high season it was not crowded. This made it possible not to have to struggle too much for a sunbed on the beach or in the pool. The food is plentiful and of quality. The main restaurant is the best because it offers a greater variety of dishes. the Japanese restaurant is aesthetically beautiful but the menu is limited and not of a high standard. The Italian restaurant has nothing that resembles Italian dishes (I'm Italian and I can guarantee it). Entertainment is great. Our compliments go to all the staff. In particular to Dario, for us “mister excellence,” and Fernanda, “miss kindness.” Engaging but not insistent. Kind and cheerful, they made our holiday special with their games and entertainment. We didn't become water polo or dart champions but we enjoyed playing together. The beach is wide and the sea is wonderful. Unfortunately at this time of the year there are a lot of algae but the beauty remains. The only negative is the timeshare company that works inside the hotel. They are pressing and persistent, and you risk losing many hours trapped in their mechanism to sell you an uncertain future of holidays at a high price. All the staff are very kind and patient even in the face of rude guests (they never fail!). Maximum attention to cleaning and anti-covid rules. Masks and gloves at the buffet. Disinfectant everywhere. We really enjoyed this aspect. We will undoubtedly return and recommend this property.

Location: it’s a 5 out 5. Great beach. Great location for a resort. View: we had a great view of the ocean. Staff: Amazing people. They were so kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make people happy. Food: the food is good, but not great! This is very personal, so hard to rate. There were meals we loved, and meals we wish it was better. Loud music at night: ouch… not good for kids. You will need to find something to help buffer the loud music outside. YouTube has plenty of white noise options. Would we come back? absolutely! 🇲🇽🇺🇸🇧🇷🙏🏼

I should of listened to all the poor reviews before this. My husband and I came to Cancun a little over 9 months ago and had the most amazing experience at another hotel but that was not the case for this resort. After traveling all morning and finally arriving to the resort we were given a room we did not reserve. They gave us a room with two double beds when we specifically paid for a king room in the royal tower. We immediately went back to the front desk and we were met with a “we can’t guarantee that you will get the room you request”. No compensation and no willingness to work with us. They weren’t apologetic or even empathetic at all. They told us that they could possibly switch our rooms the next day. So we wake up and walk down at 9am and they tell us it won’t be ready till noon. We wait till noon and walk back down and they tell us once again it is not ready to come back an hour later. When my husband went back down they basically told us that it was our fault and on their end it’s booked differently so we asked to see “their end” and they said no they couldn’t do that. What most disappoints us is the lack of customer service and the lack of apology we received. I couldn’t believe how much they just don’t care. I realize that most of the other staff walking around the resort is not friendly or welcoming one bit. I mean this resort doesn’t even come close to where we stayed at 9 months ago. We’re extremely disappointed and can guarantee we will not be coming back here. I also should add that the food is subpar. Nothing has stood out to us at all. It’s just typical hotel food. Not a great experience. Hope they improve their standards and staff some day.

The villas are superb, modern, spacious and comfortable. Complete with pool, ocean view, sun loungers, mini bar with complimentary drinks and cheap champagne they are a nice place to relax. The all inclusive food however is absolutely dreadful and some of the worst food I have ever had. They make their money by feeding you with the cheapest, lowest quality products they can find. For breakfast, enjoy powdered egg with no salt. Food dinner enjoy the cheapest brine-riddled meat in sweet sauces, or tired, dry vegetables none of which edible. This is a real shame and I've made a separate review about this under the Grand Park Royal listing on Google. This unacceptable as you have a wonderful place to enjoy but nothing to eat. The drinks are good and strong though. In short - villas 5/5 - food 0/5

PROS : The property was in a great place in the hotel zone. You could literally take the local bus anywhere on the strip for 1 US dollar. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The tacos were amazing , the food at the restaurants were also good. The MARGARITAS were on point. The beach was beautiful . The pools were big . They weren’t crowded. The resort was very calm . We went for new years to celebrate my daughter and myself birthday. They had a New Year’s Eve party. Cons : I wish the rooms were a bit more modern and up to date. The toilet in my room kept running after you flushed it. Some of the food In the main buffet was mediocre , I wish they offered a better variety. I didn’t like being offered an invite to breakfast only to be told about timeshares. I also paid for a room with an ocean view which I kind of received but kind of didn’t. We were placed in a room on the lower level basically looking out into the little garden area in the front of the room that needed to be cut. Last but not least the beach waves were a bit too rough for me. But that’s not the hotels fault.

Me and my mom spend 3 night in this hotel in May. We got a nice room with an ocean view on the 3rd floor with 2 full size beds. Room was very clean and spacious. Some detail were little old, but clean. We loved restaurant selection and quality! Food was amazing everywhere! Highly recommend if you planning to go to Cancun!

The good: The service staff was GREAT. Miguel at the lobby bar was probably the best part of our trip. Edgar, Pasqual, and the nice lady from the buffet taco bar were standouts, too! The ice cream in the cafe was yummy. The entertainment stuff did a good job of keeping everyone upbeat. The not so good: this was our first all-inclusive experience. The food was okay. We’re foodies, so the food scene is definitely not for us. We ended up making a reservation at a restaurant outside the hotel for our last day. The rooms were dated but the cleaning staff kept them very clean. Rooms look better in the pics but had a nice view. The pool culture where guests would go downstairs at 5am to claim a chair was off putting. We also got up early to claim a space but too often many of the other early birds would never come back to claim their space. Those chairs would be empty (with their beach towels) all day.

Olivero and Gambino at the bar took care of us. Always knew what was expected and the liveliness vibe they brought to the table to ensure the highest quality of customer experience... Reservations took way TOO long, we sat there for an hour or so waiting for our food just to not like any of it because it got cold. Pools were nicely maintained but closed too early. And the guys/girls up in front doing timeshare... i felt were way too pushy. Like you had to go through them of you'll not get anything done. I understand the grind, but a warning for anyone else, just ask the front desk receptionist. No heckling.

Stay away, Stay away, Stay away from this hotel unless you want to experience a very 5 stars on horrible and depressing customer service. I had problem with the a/c room 3 times , cleaning: smelly cover bed sheets, bad quality ( HARD) mattress almost impossible to rest. I had problems with dinner reservations and the worst part is a “ CAN’T ATTITUDE “ from employees to fix or solve a problem. I requested to speak to a manager more than 5 times and never a call back or always an excuse from the reception. For a hotel that charges you $650- $700 per night , honestly they are totally out of scope in reference to provide quality service. Believe me find other hotels where they appreciate your business and money.

Great spot but not for the younger crowd and the food is Ok. Overall 5 stars for the location and 3 stars for food. The service is excellent though, easy access to the ocean and shopping malls. I will come back.

Overall its good. Bathroom kinda small. Decent size room with oceanfront view. Balcony is horrible, width is about 6 inches so only view you get is opening your sliding door. Would not recommend especially when you have to pay more for Villa, sure does not feel like a villa. More like a little better standard room oceanfront.

December 2021 We went thru what felt like hundreds of options and locations and settled on this one. Budget plus view etc. We were looking for a view experience and 24 hour service, of course the whole package but a couple focused areas for this particular trip. We wanted good food of course, but this location compared to another location we visited did not meet our expectations, we did have our own snacks as back up so we survived. The view is breathe taking and it has a big part of the beach with blue water. We didn’t get to go out for our excursions, which we bought on site and it took weeks to get a refund. Our butler service and cleaning service was ok, they were short staff per staff. 24 hour service was less than expected comparing to another experience with a full menu, they offered something like a bologna sandwich. We did enjoy the snacks offered in the bakery/ice cream location, we mostly ate at 1 location and wished we had other options. The Italian place is not the best either but we tried it. All inclusive so you get what you pay for… we have decided to return in hopes for a better experience looking for a yearly resort to visit.

I have nothing but great things to say. First of all, the hotel is always clean. This matters a lot for me when I travel. The staff clean the rooms all the time, even when not asked. I love this about them. They are proactive at their job. 10/10 cleanliness. Let's get to the food: There are four all inclusive restaurants in the hotel. I would say as a whole the food is great. Sometimes resort slack on the food when it's all Inclusive. However, it was not the case here. Also, room service is great. Delicious and fresh food. I have been to Cancun multiple times and Grand Park Royal does rank highly when it comes to food. Food rating 8.5/10 Service: I can't complain. They will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Friendly staff, helpful and kind. 10/10 Amenities: This hotel has plenty. Just to name a few: Gym, Spa, butler service, sauna, pools, games. 10/10 Location: Close to clubs, bars in the hotel zone. Between two peninsulas. 10/10 What can be improved? Im very happy with this hotel and I always like giving my opinion as feedback to improve. It would be nice to make restaurant reservations more efficient. there's an office for reservations that must be made in person. For convenience, it would be easier to do it with a phone or a QR code. I will definitely be back again. Thank you!! You guys are amazing. 🥰😍👍

The rooms were good. It was not excellent because the bathrooms were extremely small, as were the beds, but that larger bathroom would have made up for the beds. Pools need upkeeping and love. Buffet needed more options, and even though it is all-inclusive, make the portions a bit bigger! The rooftop bar was great. Staff was awesome, Damian and Hector at the bar near the bridge pool were fantastic. Paola was awesome in taking care of our room. For its purpose of entertaining kids and adults, it did the job. Just need some minor tweaking for an AWESOME experience!

It was beautiful. The room had no microwave. No coffee maker. I loved the place but it was too hard on an 80-year-old woman and a 56-year-old disability woman. To do anything you had to walk so far. The walkways are made of stones very uneven easy to trip and fall. Definitely needed a electric wheelchair for this beautiful hotel. I would come back again if I could get around more easily. We wanted the authentic tacos that were served at 7:00 till 10:00 but that time we were so tired we couldn't walk another step to get back there. And the guy would not let my brother-in-law bring us any tacos to our rooms so we really miss that.

My first visit to Grand Park Royal, I heard my a friend of mine that the service on this place was amazing, let me tell you, it was true!!! It all begin with our check in, Napoleon who was the person who welcome us was fantastic, everyone was super friendly, Juan the butler in the beach was very, very friendly we are thinking on becoming members of the Royal Holiday, he is making my decision much easier, he help us a lot by getting us a Bali bed when we need it one, he went beyond his way and for me that was much appreciated!!! ON THE OTHER, a what I think is a Butler he was wearing a blue shirt, name tag said Ricardo extremely rude to my opinion even discriminatory, he were enjoying our Bali bed who Juan got us, he then came and asked us, who got you this bed? We said Juan, then he said was is your room number? Other people were just getting to their Bali beds and he didn’t not asked them for the room number? Why?. I Hope that with this review Juan get proper recognition and that Ricardo gets better customer service training, if not a lot of people will be unhappy. I am giving this five star review because of Juan the butler, but if it was because of Ricardo I would give this hotel a 3 star review. Thank You Juan for making our vacation pleasant.

Very beautiful resort, everything was clean and tidy. The drinks were non-stop and good quality for an all inclusive resort. The food was plentiful and you can easily find something you’ll enjoy. Our butler, Jessica, was excellent. She booked our dinners without a hitch and got us an extra room key when we got locked out. Always there to help with a smile! Our maid, Jasmine, was superb. The origami work with the duvet and the toiletries was a nice touch. Regarding some recent poor reviews: We did not have any Covid related inconveniences or restrictions as they must be lifted now? We were also able to get pool or beach chairs as we are early risers. However I do wish they policed it better. Saw many people toss a towel and leave for hours at a time. All-in-all, we had a great time and would return.

I stayed at this resort in March 2022 with five other friends. This was a very nice resort to stay at. The staff were almost always friendly and accommodating, The cleanliness was much appreciated, especially when it came to covid protocols. The view from the rooms was stunning with great views of the ocean. The variety of restaurants and bars were great. However, one night we had to wait two hours for room service and sometimes the resort would run out of food/drink. Someone in my group had arranged for the resort to pick us up from the airport, but that fell through and we had to find our own transportation last minute. Overall, decent resort but definitely some areas for improvement.

Beautiful beach, excellent staff and service. Let me qualify my review by saying we are not "all-inclusive resort" type of people. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try because my wife and I just wanted to relax. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds because my wife's best friend was joining us for part of the trip. We were issued a room with 1 king instead, and got blown off each time we checked to see if we could be switched. Room service and cleaning service were both exceptional. There is nothing more relaxing than coming back to your room after being out all day and everything is as clean and tidy as it was when you checked in. This resort is a great place to stay if you want to lose weight; the all-inclusive meals will keep you alive but don't get excited about them. Our first morning there, as we headed down for much needed coffee, we were accosted by a salesperson disguised as our concierge. After a couple of minutes going over the hotel and possible excursions we found ourselves in the middle of a sales pitch for their vacation club, and they are very skilled at not taking no for an answer. Duck and dodge these people with all of your abilities. In summary, an all-inclusive package is a waste of money if the quality is off-putting.

HORRIBLE…RUDE SERVICE…STAY AWAY… Most stressful time during my vacation days. Value for money is nonexistant and it was possibly the worst way we could have ended our trip. Front desk receptionist ( Julian ) was RUDE & UNFRIENDLY person . First they said have a great time & leave all stress on us but it was other way . Resort had great time collecting more money from us & give extra stressful experience. We booked 4 rooms almost 4 month ago but they end up giving us all four room in all different buildings. After lots of hassle with front desk they agreed to give all 4 room side by side with extra charge . “Be aware guys” this is the way they gets you. Food: All restaurants are empty but it says fully booked on site so they force you to eat at buffet. I am parent of special need child but without respecting my situation, buffets lady sent me back my room to get mask. Although I totally understand safety for others but they could handled situation differently by providing mask to us. Not to forget: not a single activities for kids so be aware if you planning vacation with kids then definitely avoid this place. I am giving one star because cleanliness & great view otherwise this place don’t deserve any star. They fail to my expectations & I would not recommend this place at all .

Pretty good experience overall. Resort is compact so everything is close. Restaurants were quite nice but be sure to book in advance as it's rare that you'll get a reservation for the same day. Staff is very friendly, entertainment so so. Would be nice if they had some live music in the two bars. Pools and beach need more lounge chairs. Beware of aggressive time share agents!

Overall a nice resort. Everything is really close together and compact. Food was decent, to be expected for an all-inclusive. Dinner reservations at the restaurants were hard to get, we had to visit guest services asap when we got there to ensure we got reservations. The best part was the couples massage. Honestly it was the best massage we’ve ever had 10/10. Timeshare situation is a little annoying. We were hounded a few times about it.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff were amazing, especially Jose Mercedes, Antonio and Julio at the buffet. Our days were made even more wonderful by our server Erica. She went above and beyond all week long. The location was great, and the beach was soft and sandy. Thanks to everyone that made our stay so wonderful.

Just returned from vacation with my wife and two kids 4 & 2 years old. Great memorable experience, we are well travelled and truly enjoyed this hotel. The New Year’s party was surprisingly entertaining and enjoyable. The buffet needs to be improved greatly as the food options are poor and unappealing. The restaurants however are exceptional with delicious savoury options and impeccable service. There is always snack food available throughout the day either ice cream, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, or tacos as well as room service after hours. The amenities are all walkable and clean. The beach is right at your fingertips with hotel pools also as an option. The rooms are beautiful and clean with great housekeeping services. Please remember to tip the servers and staff, they work hard and truly deserve some appreciation for their efforts. Overall we will definitely return here again for another great escape. Remember nowhere is perfect, but you have to maximize what is available to you to truly enjoy your trip.

Great place, family of 18 enjoyed! Food was great and had authentic tacos. Service was exceptional especially Jorge and Eduardo. Gregarrio was welcoming when we first arrived! Wish they had a club for family to dance but was great experience!

The beach is so beautiful from this hotel, very clean and safe. I’ve gone to other hotels and the lifeguards and beach have been dirty or unattended. The service here is amazing, Gerardo was spectacular at serving us at Andiamo. Some plates were a hit or miss but overall 4/5

I'm taking a 1/2 ⭐ off in the room category because our bathroom toilet stopped up twice (was fixed promptly) & our last day the shower would not get hot. Everything else about this hotel is excellent especially the staff, food, & entertainment. Be prepared for the staff asking you to attend a 90 minute presentation upon arrival. (Not mandatory to attend) Would definitely return!!!!

Service and quality of food is outstanding. So many vegan options, very happy about that. Location is perfect and the beach...the beach...amazing!!! Entertainment is great, morning yoga class by Ithiel was a really good stretching after a morning run. Super happy to see hotel switching to providing a greener experience, no single plastic for the most part: no bottles of water, instead water fountains for guests to fill up their bottles, no single bottles of shampoo, etc in rooms. This is great!!! Congrats for making this change. However, the hotel needs a bit of TLC, more modern touches, fresh coat of paint and DEFINITELY more and NEW chairs by the pool and beach. So far, still having a great time.

We loved the excellent service everywhere at the Hotel, we definitely would come Back here. We enjoyed our stay and the friendly attitude and hard work of the employees. We enjoyed as well the buffet restaurant, liked the food and the atmosphere. We are thankful for the attention and care of the Captain Sergio and the kind service of Manuel our server tonight. We had to change tables at the Buffet Restaurant like 3 times and they gladly changed us to a better one, without hesitation. Great service!

We took a family trip to Cancun in Nov, 2023. The entertainment activities are so much fun and family friendly. We enjoyed the aerobics class in the main pool. The instructors are great! They make the classes enjoyable and engaging. Truly a wonderful time with family. A special shout out and thank you to Edgar from Cafe Sole. Great customer service! He always made our family feel welcomed. Despite how busy the cafe can be, Edgar always greets every customer with a smile. Thank you for making our family trip a great one!

The Italian restaurant has fantastic food and great service. Gabriel is wonderful at making you feel welcome and seems to be everywhere. I also want to mention the fantastic service we received from Ananais at the Mexican restaurant; delicious food and great atmosphere. Last but not least, the buffet offers a great selection of yummy food, and Sergio; you can’t miss him!

Cesar was the best host and waiter and he served us really well at the oriental place in Grand Cancun. He suggested a lot of good items and made sure there was timely service. He was very nice and social and took great care of the family. Also, Raymundo and Phiipe from the Flor De Sal were awesome and the service was impeccable. Will always want to come back to this place( we did 2 days in a row).

"+" Spent one week here. Hotel is good and really clean. All rooms with an ocean view ( that is amazing). Room service is perfect. Food is good ( you won't be hungry ☺️) some days repetitive, they also have options for vegan and allergic people. Coconut ice cream and carrot cake are the best! ( Cafe Solo) 😊 Beach is outstanding!!!! I have no words🤩 "-" Time share people are superrrrr annoying, first day they ask personal and credit card info, they will offer you 90 min meeting and some presents ( to catch you for a membership program). We politely rejected it, but they were not happy with it. Make sure it is not mandatory and you have rights to don't go there! "-" If you travel with kids there are not too much activities for them (but this resort calls as a family one) "-" Rooms are outdated ( tired furniture, stained lights) we had a regular room. Overall it is a good place for vacation 😊

The location is great, but the service is NOT! If you want your experience to get ruined by this people book here. It was the worst experience ever. Starting with the check-in, it took for ever, after that, they took forever to bring our luggage to our room. Then, to make it worse, the food is HORRIBLE! Let's not talk about the service. The employees in some of the restaurants are SUPER RUDE! They make faces when you are asking for something or they take forever bring your food and drinks. One time, they didn't even bring our drinks. And to top it off, if you are planning on eating in any of their restaurants besides the buffet make sure you are bring your tuxedo, because even though you get mediocre service they act like they have the best restaurants and food, which it was horrible and very limited. WORST PLACE EVER!

Mario from Koi, Oriental cuisine has the best service. I’ve been here 7 years ado and now return for the second time. You will really enjoy the beach front hotel, the beach is really shallow and you can walk out 30-40 yards. The food is decent, and the drinks are good. All you need to say is make it a double and your drink is that much more better.

I had a wonderful stay. I was with a large group, but the check-in / check-out was easy. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful and was always clean. The food was delicious. We ate at the buffet each morning, then for lunch usually ate at the snack bar or buffet again. At night, we ate at the Asian and Italian restaurant. We also ate at the taco bar and again, the buffet. Even in a large group, everyone found plenty to eat. The drinks were great and there were many bars around the property. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience.

Will never come here again, and i knew that on the first day. The servers/wait staff, and house keeping were wonderful. But the food and drinks were not worth the price. Not to mention the staff hounding you to get a time share or go on an excursion. They are so many better places to spend your money.

Rooms, cleanliness and facilities all excellent. Quiet and well equipped resort for a relaxing holiday. Great selection of food and drink and the majority of the staff are very friendly. The staff in the buffet restaurant could have been nicer, if you’re not tipping constantly they’re not very friendly which I don’t like. Bar and restaurant staff all have excellent service.

My husband and I stayed here for one week with our 6 month old son. Overall, it’s an ok resort. The staff are super friendly. The resort is not really “baby friendly” though for those traveling with a small child. Lots of stairs that make stroller use a little inconvenient, and there are very limited food options with a baby. You are only permitted to the buffet and maybe one restaurant with a small child. The room service menu is very limited. We stayed in the “new” villa area. The room was nice, but we did see quite a few cockroaches, including one in the sofa. We spoke to the concierge about alternatives for the limited dinner options, and every evening when we attempted to get food to go or in our room, there were issues and delays with the staff insisting they had to reach out to managers or the concierge to confirm the previously made arrangements. Overall, the hotel is decent and the staff members were sweet. There are a few inconveniences with a baby - don’t think our family would stay again.

Miguel was a fantastic beach butler. He was very kind and quick with orders. He also goes out of his way to tidy up the cabanas every now and then to help get rid of the sand. This man needs a promotion! After conversing with him, you can tell he is very motivated to climb the ladder in the resort/hotel industry. Definitely has the potential for higher management :)

The staff was always on top of the activities and made them fun for everyone! My main activities I participated in was the beach and aqua volleyball and it was great! They also had many other activities throughout the day that were loads of fun! Definitely kept you busy if you wanted to be! Everybody was so nice and helpful too! Stephanie hosted a lot of our activities and she was great!

Good - 1. WiFi was great and practically everywhere. 2. Good variety of restaurants (note: you need reservations and men need pants for dinner service). 3. All inclusive really means all inclusive. 4. AC worked well and was even quiet if you put low fan speed. Not so Good - 1. Missing chairs and umbrellas around the pool. There were very few spots and lots of demand. 2. Still have mask mandates, even for service outside. 3. Seaweed in the ocean and beach. It wasn't pleasant to go in the ocean. 4. There is an app for the hotel activities but to make a dinner reservation you had to go to guest services. It is not cheap for an all inclusive, but I would say it was worth it.
