One of the best vegan places I've been to in Mexico! 😍 Super friendly staff and food is decently priced. The desserts (carrot cake and moka) were simply amazing! 💛

So very pleased that I found this eatery. A vegan travels on their stomach and it is so great to find eateries like this. Last time I was in Mexico it was tought to find vegetarian, let alone, vegan places. This was the first place I ate at when I arrived in Cancun. I was starting at the hotel next door. I think it was the restaurant that enticed me to check it the hotel because I was hungry and it was around 9pm. I had the sopas. They were tasty. I have had breakfast there twice since then. The good has been good each time. Each meal item cost around 95-120$MX. The servings were the standard size so a little smaller than I would have liked. Didn't feel like I was full. The food was tasty but not bold enough for me. The habanero sauce helped. I liked that I was the only non-Mexican in the eatery each time I went. That means that it is being supported by local and Mexican tourists. My Spanish is not great as one of the servers doesn't seem to like my efforts. I will likely eat there a few more times while I am here since it is quite close to the hotel I am now starting at. I had breakfast here a few more times and I found the tofu scramble to be good and filling. I got extra corn tortillas and so was able to make about 8 tacos. 115$MEX This is a vegan restaurant.

Most of the food we had here was good, but some was mediocre. Don’t order the garlic bread it’s embarrassing. The fried tacos were more salad than tacos, and they weren’t fried. The quesadillas, croissant, cake, and mocktails were good. Enjoyable vegan restaurant. I’d ask for a side of hot sauce too since it isn’t very spicy but the hot sauce extra is great.

I loved this restaurant. Both days I had vegan chorizo made if veggies, tofu scramble, beans, corn tortillas and guacamole. I had a soy milk cappuccino and cucumber lemon juice. Very happy I found this place. Family run, friendly and good seating indoor and outdoor. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow! What a gem of a place. Stumbled across this after browsing Mercado 28 - Bao vegan maybe 3-4 mins walk so very easy to get to. Friendly waiter, very fast service and the chefs are amazing. I got the pasta alfredo and the mango/ turmeric smoothie. The pasta was AMAZING (so creamy i couldn't believe it was vegan!) The juice - i thought the turmeric was too strong for me so I wouldn't choose this drink again, but it felt nice to know I was drinking something healthy. Very affordable prices (pasta was MXN 145). If I'm ever in Cancun I will return! But for now- if my review can help just one person devide to visit, then I'm happy 😊

Friendly staff, fast service and good food. I gave it 4 starts as I felt my baguette could have had more to it when it comes to flavour, it needed more sauce or a nice chutney. My kids both loved their meals. One had the pesto pasta which was very tasty but could have done with more pesto. They kindly substitute the asparagus for broccoli which worked very well. The other the guacamole burger, which again was tasty. My kids would happily come back if we get the chance. Our drinks were good, my coffee was smooth and nice.

First and best vegan Mexican place I have been while traveling for 2,5 weeks through Yucatan. We had the Enchiladas and the Huarache and both were delicious. Even if I don’t recommend Cancun, I would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent food! Unbelievable, finding such a vegan restaurant in Cancun. Generous portions. I loved the lentil soup. Cozy ambience, courteous staff - they served 1 by 2 with a smile.

We came back 3 times to eat here!!! Absolute local vegan gem, that you don't wanna miss out on. It's a fully vegan restaurant, with delicious, very well seasoned food and creative mocktails. The pastas were amazing - pesto & alfredo, as well as the Hawaiian pizza, burgers, sopes, hummus, avo toast.... and omg don't get me started on the cake selection. YUMMY is a complete understatement!! Service was amazing. We truly enjoyed ourselves tonight, thank you thank you!!

Very sweet restaurant! The staff is really friendly and welcoming. I had the beyond burger which was absolutely delicious!! Really really good! The Fries were good but I prefer them small and crunchy. The drink was a non alcoholic mojito which was really tasty! If I was longer in Cancun in would go there again. I really recommend it!

This is the best vegan food I've had so far. I came to eat here all my 3 days in cancun. I tried veg taco and bao Krispy burger which was delicious along with chocolate drink made from soy milk. Servers speak limited English but could take instructions if explained with some patience. Ambience is of small cozy Cafe and not extravagant. Price is not cheap may be because it's cancun and it's tourist place but its taste great.

I really liked it. This was my first time in a vegan restaurant and I enjoyed every bite. The lentil ceviche was delicious and very well seasoned. I also tasted the mushroom huarache and I noticed no difference with a regular one. At first glance, it may look a bit pricey, but the ingredients were notoriously fresher and it didn't taste as fast food at all. The waitress was very attentive and I could notice the atmosphere of the community. Service is not "fast" so if you're in a hurry try to order ahead. To my view, an improvement would be to find a way to communicate with the tables outside (a bell on the table, maybe?) because when the waitress was inside the building, she couldn't see when customers were calling her. On summary, it's a great choice, and I felt satisfied after the meal.

My wife and I are here every other day on our vacation. We kept coming back because the food is diverse, delicious, and light. The staff are beyond friendly, always making us feel very welcome. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't get the recipe for their cakes. I dabble in vegan baking and both the moka and carrot cakes were beyond what I thought possible. There frosting was amazing.

Amazing Mexican vegan food and sooo many gluten-free option. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and every single thing we ordered was amazing. It’s also very affordable (around 4.50 USD for an entrée). Don’t walk, run here!

Very cozy, tidy cafe with a nice selection. Waitress speaks English and they prepare everything from the scratch. No fake meats or BS. Taste is ok, very palatable and prices are nice. Recommend.

This vegan restaurant in Cancun is very nice and the service is excellent. The staff were kind ( especially our waitress) and the food was tasty. There is a verity of local Mexican dishes and classics vegan burgers, hot dogs and pizzas. The prices are super affordable.

Love love love this place. I come here every single time I’m in Cancun, so maybe twice a year. We are vegans and came here when they first opened. The soups were admittedly a bit better back then, but the tortilla soup is still really good now. I recommend the pastas if you’re hungry, but the enchiladas are very good, so I alternate between the two along with the lentil ceviche and tortilla soup. Cakes there are also incredible. My ONLY issue, and I’d love if the owners could help with this one, is that they apparently have a second location but I cannot find it anywhere! I looked on the BaoVegan Facebook, their Instagram, and even on google maps and the only location listed is this one. It would be so so helpful if the owners or management could update google maps or at least their social media websites to reflect BOTH locations. Today they were closed due to a kitchen issue, which is no big deal, things happen. But when we asked where the second location was, they gave a general direction but nothing specific, so we spent the next 30 minutes wandering around and looking online to try to find any mention of this second location. My husband and I absolutely love this place, the food is great and we love supporting vegan places! So we would be very happy to spend money in the other restaurant, too, but we just cannot find it. Please help!

Great spot! We came here twice! The coffee is great (recommend an iced latte with coconut milk!) and the huarache is SO GOOD. Cute and really tasty and nice staff.

I wouldn't call this a restaurant, I'll call it BESTaurant, because the food is sooooo good! (Sorry about the bad joke, but I'm somewhat high because of the great food here!) The sauces are amazing and the ingredients are high quality. Quick service. Limited seating. Great service!

The food is amazing! Fully vegan and delicious. Their menu is very ample and the service is great. It's a family business which I love to support! Come eat at this place, you won't regret it. Very affordable and extremely delicious 🤤

Our service and food was fantastic. A great place to get health-oriented vegan food and beverages. Cold drinks and air-conditioning makes this place luxurious.

We found tiny pieces of plastic in the burgers! Their bao is not a real bao, it's just an ordinary burger. We ordered two different burgers and got exactly the same burger. French fries were definitely not good, I would not order them again. The taste of the burger was okay like 3/5 At least they did not charge us for the burger with the plastic in it and wanted to give us some breads for free

This place is superb, I am very picky when it comes to food but I was extremely impressed. I went back twice, my favourite was the burrito and Croissant

The best Mexican vegan food I had eaten in the world (and I am well-traveled). Everything was finger-licking delicious. We ate there EVERY single night during our visit to Cancun. We ordered 3-4 dishes every night and their menu was so big that we never ate same thing again. Extensive menu. Tacos were to die for. Service was the best and hostess/server is the sweetest lady on the earth. Must try!!!

Had the red enchiladas, a mojito, and a baked good. Delicious and affordable! I loved that it was all vegan, as well.

Outstanding variety of food, salads, drinks desserts. Whatever you choose there is a guarante you wouldn't be disappointed. My Fav is d Fettuccine "bolognese". The sauce is made of cashews & dried tomatoes. Superb👌. Smoothies are made w fresh fruit no artificial flavors. The pizza 🍕 margherita's sauce is also made w same sauce. Just delicious. Place follows Covid prevention protocols. Staff is forever authentically Nice. Just few blocks close to Mercado 38. A must!

The food was very good but the portions were not very big and it took awhile. My husband's pizza was not warm when he got it though so not sure why it didn't come right out. I loved the Sopes with mushrooms that I ordered, and the Caesar salad was also very yummy but pretty small for the price.

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese. When I seen it first I was kind of irritated how they just put the veggies in the omelette but I must admit it was very good. As you know already I like it simple, fresh, and good. The dish came with chips and an awesome...
