👍👍 Great spot to have Gorditas at very affordable prices. They are made fresh to order and take a while to make so if you short on time best to over order than ask for another that'll be another 15 20 mins. 4 gorditas left me stuffed. I always visit this place when I come to cancun People often mention gorditas, prices, Cancun, good, Mexican,

Very local eatery with simple menu and rather decent food. Menu was in both Spanish and English. It took a while to see our order arriving, but it was worth to wait. Both dishes as per attached images, were tasty and rich. Prices are on a cheaper side. All in all, quite a bargain here in center of Cancun

So good! My favorite were the chicharrĂłn prensado and rajas con queso. They have some really spicy sauces to accompany your gorditas if you are a spicy fanatic like me! The burritos were also really yummy. The gorditas are a bit small so you get a chance to try out different flavors.

Our absolute favorite place in Cancun! We ate here many times throughout our trip and Que Gorditas never disappointed. Our favorites were the chicken tinga and champiniones (mushroom) quesadillas - flour especially, but the corn ones were great too! Amazingly cheap and the service is brilliant. Best Mexican food in Cancun!!

I have tried some gorditas and quesadilla around Mexico and these are very good. Not greasy, and flavourful. Each dish is made fresh and has tons of great seasonings. Added to that, the service and attention are great as well as prices. Overall a fantastic experience you should try if in Cancun town.

Maybe backpackers like this place, for locals, it’s not necessarily something remarcable. First, the pace is on the side of the street, so it’s dusty, overall the dining area looks dirty, there’s a vinyl covering the tables that is dirty like it has never been cleaned, horrible black spots of mould and dirt. It’s hot, you can feel the sun’s radiation while you eat there, to solve this issue they have two huge fans that are all rusty and old, probably never been cleaned as it’s possible to see layer upon layer of dust in them, obviously being blown all over the place and over your food as it oscillates. The food was below average for gorditas. The gordita was sour, which only means the dough used to make them had been resting outside a refrigerator and already started to ferment due to the high temperatures, that was the deal breaker for me, probably that acidity in the dough could have been unnoticed, but I’m Mexican and corn tortillas are almost part of my DNA, so I can tell the difference. Anyway, probably it was just my bad luck when I visited, I want to believe some other time, someone else has tasted the flavor of a genuine corn gordita. Chicken tinga was tasteless, mole rojo was just barely better. Chicharrón prensado was good and if it wasn’t because of the fermented dough, that would’ve been a winner.

Excelent place to try inexpensive gorditas (" thick tortillas"). The fillings are traditional. They are commonly eaten at breakfast or lunch time. All handmade. You can see the ladies doing so.No a/c. Sit in terrace on plastic chairs. If there's a breeze its OK. No alcohol served. Attentive quick staff.

Incredible little spot off the beat and path of Cancuns main strip. A true local favourite and nothing but deliciousness found in every menu item. Family run, incredibly kind and attentive staff, amazing prices and just plain delicious with the best hot sauces I've ever been served in a restaurant setting, hands down.

I recently discovered a fantastic local restaurant called Las Gorditas, offering a unique Mexican food experience. One dish I highly recommend is their Quesadillas de Pollo – a classic choice with a delightful combination of savory chicken and melted cheese. Enjoy your meal at Las Gorditas!

Very comfortable place, friendly staff and delicious food for reasonable prices. Menu is in English too, payments by card are accepted, but you don't feel like in a heavy touristy area at all.

Sat down, got the menu, no time to take a look at it. The waitress wanted to take the order immediately. After asking for more time to read the menu she did never show up again. I was the only customer. Left after 30 minutes. Very poor customer service!

absolutely loved it, both taste (food quality) and service. The quesadillas/gorditas are small, so you can try multiple fillings or just have a small lunch - at a super fair price 🌼

My family ate here and it was delicious and reasonably priced. My kids ate a bean and cheese quesadilla and I ate a nopales burrito. The quesadilla is cheaper but seemed about the same size as a burrito. It was simple, delicious.and nourishing. It's not a tourist restaurant and that's a good thing.

Great food and great prices. Walk less than 10 minutes from Mercado 28 (where they rip you off) and come to this amazing authentic Mexican restaurant. The Gorditas were fantastic and made on site. Looks like a favorite spot for locals as well.

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese. When I seen it first I was kind of irritated how they just put the veggies in the omelette but I must admit it was very good. As you know already I like it simple, fresh, and good. The dish came with chips and an awesome...
