Just finished the dinner with my lovely daughter. Surely it’s the best Japanese restaurant in Cancun. The chef - Gandiel is excellent, foods are soooo delicious. The waitress Nadia and Hostess Yensy with very good service. We have really enjoyed the food. It’s the best choice in Hotel NYX Cancun. Strongly recommend!

We celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary and they made it Extra Special The Hibachi food was Delish and the staff were very attentive

Super clean Japanese/sushi restaurant. We had the chance to have a seat in front of the sushi chef, he made our dinner in front of us and was very kind ! I highly recommend this place.

I have been to quit a few sushis places and This was another level! The quality of the sushis and the freshness of the products was incredible! Our sushis chef was making them in front of us which make the experience amazing! To find the restaurant go to the NYX hotel and enjoy!

Good, but not authentic Japanese food. はまちのかま (Hamachi kama) is the best item on the menu. The service is good, but tries too hard to appear upscale. The cocktails are all, unfortunately, truly terrible. The sake selection is also about as good as a cheap grocery store would have. Overall, it's a reliable staple for the area, but don't expect too much if you like real Japanese food.

We went for the teppanyaki experience which was great. The service was amazing, our waitress Carolina was such a cutie and friendly. The food cooked by Magdaleno was lovely and some photos shared on the review. Would recommend (plus if you're celebrating an occasion, you get a special celebratory cake/dessert) such a nice evening

We had a great birthday dinner for my little sister, where we enjoyed delicious food and a unforgettable experience together. The mixologist Rodrigo did a spectacular job with our drinks and we had excellent service from the waitresses Isis and Valeria along with the Chef Mario and the gracious hostess Estefania.

Very fresh and very delicious. I recommend the grilled octopus! We had a lovely experience with Astrid who waited on us and a pleasant time watching the chef's work their magic. Make sure to come at 6 to grab a table so you don't have to wait. Gracias !

We celebrated my birthday at Umami and had a great evening. Our waitress Samantha was lovely, food was delicious and they brought a surprise birthday cake for me at the end of the evening. We can highly recommend coming here!

Make your reservation early to get a table at the time you want. Very cute restaurant, great service and tasty food even for people who don’t eat fish :) Our waitress Arely was amazing with the customer service.

Show and food very entertaining. Chief Uriel was fantastic. Waitress Isis and Karina very polite and kept topping our drinks up! Overall very good experience.

Amazing restaurant! The food, decor and the vibe all were really nice. Our dinner highlight was the yuzu cake. One of the waitresses that night, Karina was exceptionally attentive and kind. They have dress code so keep that in mind before you go!

Alejandro was amazing! Not only was the food wonderful but the show was fantastic! Knowing it was our honeymoon he made a beautiful I love you sign on the grill out of rice, tempura and veggies :) the waitresses were also fantastic and made me a hot tea when my stomach was upset from a hot day drinking in the sun. It is obvious that the staff really care that the guests are enjoying themselves and it is appreciated 😀

Some of the best sashimi tuna and salmon I've ever had. Not only was the food amazing but are waitress Isis and hostess Nadia were so friendly and awesome. Are mixologist Joshua brought us a welcome drink when we told him we didn't drink alcohol he went back and made us a welcome drink without alcohol nowhere else would someone go above and beyond to suit our needs. Nadia the manager has some excellent employees. We are going back tomorrow night for dinner again.

Absolutely incredible meal. Some of the best sushi I've had since being in Japan. The rice alone was exquisite and the spicy tuna and rainbow rolls were perfect. Gamaliel prepared our food to absolute perfection and Ivonne was a wonderful waitress. The ambiance is also wonderful as it made me feel as if I were back in Kyoto. Go to this restaurant if you like sushi. You won't be disappointed.

Drinks and rib eye were amazing. Fried rice and vegetable were way to salty 😕. Please put less soy sauce next time. Sushi and nigiri was amazing as well!!!

They have underground parking. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were incredibly friendly. We were met by anayelli and seated quickly. Then our server was Ivonne, who was amazing. Very friendly and worked with us in practicing our Spanish. Then let’s get to the food. Gamaliel the head chef and Alejandro both put together the best tasting Sushi I can remember. The presentation will be the best you have ever seen. We highly recommend this place. We are only here two nights and will probably go back tomorrow.

Had a teppanyaki course at Umami, the food and atmosphere was fantastic. My mother has unique dietary restrictions and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her across the entire night. Thank you for the wonderful night Karina, Guadalupe and Joshua.

Had a sushi dinner here tonight. It's was simply amazing. Great service and entertainment at the sushi bar. Chef Gama & Carlos turning out sushi art right in front of us. Our waitresses Isis and Karina were very attentive and caring. We'll be back as soon as possible!
