Fantastic food, authentic French cuisine by French chef Frank. Hairstylist turned chef who serves and chats up the guests. I have not seen or heard of many places in Cancun that offer escargot - it was my first experience and they were fantastic! Everyone in our private party raved about all our menu items, the steak was also a huge hit as well as the salmon. The restaurant is a little tucked away so be careful to keep an eye out when you are passing by. Definitely worth the trek out to eat.

Best dining experience! The chef is so nice & spoke with us several times to check how we were enjoying our meal & offer suggestions. Hostess was so sweet & made us feel very welcome. Such exceptional quality & such a bargain. Sad it’s out last night here because I definitely would’ve come back again to dine. Looking forward to my next trip to Cancun & coming here again.

This hide-away French restaurant is run by Frank. The food is a fine balance of provincial French cooking and accessible cuisine. I will be returning often.

Lovely, warm, low key French place. As the name suggests, it is cuisine from Saint Tropez, a southern Cote d'Azur town with a Mediterranean flair. Food is well prepared with nice portions. The owner Franck, is down to earth and makes you feel at home. The wine were delicious. Overall a charming experience. Ps If I were to put in one tiny not so positive feedback, it would be that the fish was slightly salty, though it did taste wonderful. I had the fish steak St Tropez and mushrooms. The mushrooms were very good with an amazing red sauce. The soup du jour was French onion, good but not necessarily different from what I gad before from other places, e.g. California.

This is a very nice French restaurant with a cozy and sweet ambience. We had the peppered filet mignon and filet mignon cafe de Paris. The food was very tasty. The recipes are great and the meats cooked well. We also had the escargot. It was nice. The sauce is was good with bread. Their menu changes, so what you see on there isn't always available. You'll have to ask the waiter, or in our case, the chef. He's a wonderful guy. Be sure to talk to him if you get the chance. He made us some complementary drinks and chatted with us for a while. This a great place for a nice dinner or a laid back lunch.

Great St. Tropez style restaurant. Food is wonderful and Frank (the owner) is just such a sweet guy. Place is a bit pricy but definitely worth any penny.

Why there isn't a line of customers a mile long, we do not know. Franck, his place, his staff, and his food are most excellent and hospitable. We had the pùté, fried cod, filet mignon, salmon, creme brulée, white wine, and lemonade. It was all incredible and worth every penny. Even the lemonade was the best I can remember having.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in the last hear. I used to live in France, and this is the closest I’ve come to eating a real French meal since leaving France. The waitress was amazing, and so kind with our one year old daughter who was messy. (If you are bringing a younger toddler with you, keep in mind they don’t have high chairs, but we brought our own so it wasn’t a problem). The chef came out and checked on us multiple times during the meal. He was kind and so genuine. We got the Escargot, the onion soup, salmon dinner, pepper filet mignon, chocolate mousse and crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. I don’t think we can pick favorites, it was all SO good!

I was SOO excited that I'd found a restaurant in Cancun that had pate - the restaurant was highly rated, and supposedly the chef was from France.. I've eaten pate all over the world, throughout Europe, and throughout France. Unfortunately the pate was dry & crumbly 😞.. I prefer creamier paste pate that can be spread evenly on toast, crackers, or bread accoutrements. I can generally overlook the texture but the taste was just OK. I thought maybe the pate was having an off day so we tried another recommended dish, the filet mignon and also ordered 2 glasses of house red wine - the wine choice was excellent & drinkable, it was unexpectedly the highlight of our tasting. The filet was OK - it was quite small (oddly, another person's google review picture shows a much larger looking filet) & soft (oddly, the gentleman waiter did not ask what temperature we wanted it cooked..) but it was not as tender as other filets from steakhouses around the world. The sides were OK - I did enjoy the mushroom sauce. For comparison, at another Cancun restaurant we tried their ribeye and it was unexpectedly tender and delicious! As a Texan who has traveled to the other steak meccas e.g. Argentina, Brazil, Japan etc - I'm well versed in steaks.. Our waiter also did not offer nor bring a small glass pitcher of what appeared to be filtered water - I noticed them later on all the other customer's tables. Our tasting was spendy in comparison to the quality of food we received (especially compared to other delicious Cancun restaurants) and there was a sign at the host stand that stated CASH Only (given the price points of the dishes they really should accept credit cards). I was overall disappointed.. sadly I will not return to this restaurant nor recommend it to others.

If one day you get an urge to try a REAL French food, you are at the right place. It just reminded me with gramma's cooking, just from heart. Whatever u try is fantastic but I had chance to try seafood, steak, and grilled chicken, and the taste is still in my mouth. Msio Frank makes the balance when he prepared the stew and sauce like a symphony!

We had dinner here on December 24th and we’re so happy with everything. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and they were nice enough to set us up in a table in the terrace, so I felt totally safe and happy.

It reminds me of my mom’s kitchen ( when she’s in a good mood), real French cuisine, amazing flavors and great wine selection; a must do in Cancun

Such kind service and absolutely delicious food! We had the pĂątĂ©, the steak, the mussels and the chocolate mousse. All were 10/10 cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to return and try everything else!

Excellent food (had the tartiflette), and a very warm and friendly owner in Frank. The decoration was such a weird combination of class and tackiness (balloons from new year's were still out, in February), I found it truly mesmerizing. Frank is a true original and even gave me his business card so I could call him in case I ran into troubles during my stay in Mexico. Such an incredibly generous gesture to someone he just met for a few minutes.

Well selected wine and well priced wine by the bottle. Food was incredible, literally could not stop eating and then had to try desert. The owner Frank was so accommodating, the service top notch. Will be visiting again, great place to dine the night before an early flight, exactly the ambience I was searching for. Just a quiet romantic night with my husband and some great food and wine

😠 This is the first time here and I ordered an omelette with veggies and cheese. When I seen it first I was kind of irritated how they just put the veggies in the omelette but I must admit it was very good. As you know already I like it simple, fresh, and good. The dish came with chips and an awesome...
