While the concept and idea of the hotel is wonderful this hotel is on its last leg and it shows. There is rust everywhere and the facilities are not very clean. The pool does not accommodate the size of the guests and people have to fight for chairs and some share a chair or sit on the deck with a towel. This is absolutely ridiculous for a resort everyone should have a chair to sit on. Also the chairs are plastic so cheap uncomfortable and are not cleaned. There are hairs and bird poop on the chairs in the morning because they do not spray them down. There are also no umbrellas by the pool. The breakfast buffet was delicious, The poolside lunch grill was really good, however, the dinner options were absolutely terrible. Really bad food for dinner. The poolside beach and drink service was amazing the staff was so friendly and wonderful. However, some of the other staff were extremely rude. One staff member was standing directly behind my girlfriend and she did not notice him and she went to turn around and chastised her like a child and told her be careful even though he was the one who was standing very closely behind her while his friend was telling us he was a manager for the hotel but really was trying to sell us a timeshare pitch. Overall: beautiful views, excellent location, unkempt and outdated, Great poolside service, some really friendly staff, and some rude staff. I would not have a problem with this hotel if they priced it and pitched it according to how nice it is. This is not a luxury boutique hotel this is an outdated hotel that needs some serious upgrades. If the price point was much lower, I would not have a problem but the price point is trying to make it seem like it is a luxury hotel.

This is a great, friendly hotel. Before we arrived, we were a bit concerned after reading some of the previous reviews. All I can say this place was great. Check-in process was really quick and all staff very helpful. We had a Inspira Junior suite ocean view. The room we had was in tower 3 and the view over the Caribbean Sea was amazing, and able to hear the waves on the beach. In general the room was really big and the bed was super comfy. There is no balcony, but the big sliding windows give you the balcony feel in your room. Bathroom was big with rainfall shower. Buffet restaurant was very good with themed evenings and 2 other restaurants both very good. Breakfast buffet did get busy at times, but only had to wait once and that was for 5 min. The pool area was very nice and swim up bar. Beach only a few steps away and plenty of lounges to use, and the bar staff came round regularly for drink and food service. For us everything went perfectly here and a big shout out to all the staff for being so hospitable, and a mention to Raul at the lobby bar for making cocktails on request. have added plenty of pics

I have to be honest. When I first look at the reviews before pulling the trigger for this hotel I wasn’t sure why to expect. Some of the reviews I read were given low scores on the food and the state of maintenance of the hotel. To be fair those reviews were exactly off the mark, however, I can say that from my personal experience, the food was fantastic 90% of the time and I would score low the Mediterranean restaurant. As far the state of maintenance of the hotel, I can see the new owners have been putting an effort to make look newer and it is noticeable. The room was excellent and everything was in working order. The poolside entertainment was very enjoyable and the beach was beautiful. I would come again anytime. The Spa services were fantastic, albeit a little on the expensive side. I would not use the hotel store. Extremely expensive. If you need medicines and sunscreen you would do better walking to the other side of the street where there is a convenience store. At the end of the day, the best this hotel can offer is it’s staff. They seem to love their job, everybody and I mean everybody was extremely nice, helpful and professional.

Not a big resort. A quieter hotel more for adults and close to the airport. Restaurants and staff very nice. Pools and beach are the norm for Cancun. For the price you could get a lot more bang for the buck. The rooms were not terrible but not impressive to us. They were painting our room as we entered, and apologized 🙈. They do have a kids club and my daughter said the staff were amazing🥰 Other than that not too much for the kids though.

For the price you can't complain at the service, atmosphere and stay you get here at Oleo and I'd recommend this place to anyone. It is a smaller resort but we liked that about this place. On arrival we mentioned it was our honeymoon, I hadn't put it on our booking but on mentioning the kind check in clerk upgraded our room and when we came back that evening after dinner a sweet plate of dessert and a happy honeymoon note was left for us. This was a really sweet example of thoughtful service. All inclusive food and drinks were good and plentiful. Even on the beach staff were attentive serving drinks and food. We barely had to ask for top ups of drinks, especially at the bar in the lobby, the bar staff would see my husband's glass almost empty and quickly ask / serve him another. All staff were friendly. The room was clean, the beach is very clean. I think this place is excellent value for money and a lovely experience. Would stay again!

It was amazing, simply amazing. From the start to the finish of our trip everything was nice and smooth. Check in was no problem, bracelets were given in our case of early arrival , so we can start using premises right away. Its was our second time there. We purposefully went back to this hotel for more time because service and food was so good 3 years ago. And this time they improved actually. Service in the beach, with drinks and snacks 😅 (tacos, salads, wings, burgers…omg it’s was delicious). Very clean rooms with air conditioning, rooms service every day, which was not necessary for us. I’m very happy we went back and spend amazing week with great people around, perfect service and astonishing view! Highly recommend!!!

I booked birthday trip and we ended up staying at this hotel. First they said they were going to have a Surprise for me upon arrival in the hotel room since we were celebrating my birthday , THEY DID NOT! Second we had a really bad storm the first night and noticed there was water coming in and flooding the room. We let The staff know immediately but they didn’t seem concerned and took us to go downstairs to let them know we needed room service go clean up the water. And guess what all they did was just bring in towels and put them on the floor by the window. This hotel is old and needs maintenance clearly If water is coming in. Also it was 3 of us staying in the room and they just kept bringing 2 towels and we had to keep calling room service to bring a 3rd towel that was sooo annoying! The breakfast buffet was good but that’s about it. All the other restaurants here and lunch Buffet is just ok. Just a 2 out of 5. They also serve cheap liquor and watered down drinks and you have to pay an extra $50 a day to upgrade to better liquor. Over all this is just an ok hotel I’m Sure you can find better for the same price.

Overall this hotel isn't bad, but it isn't great. The good: - Friendly service from most of the staff we interacted with. - Pet friendly hotel. - Nice small beach. - Small hotel. - It's more of a relaxing hotel than a party hotel. The bad: - My room had a strong smell of tobacco, I asked for a room change and they couldn't accommodate me, then I asked for some Glade to help mask the smell, but they couldn't provide it, it felt like they were helpless on that matter, 3 service people came by and they blamed other rooms and mentioned they couldn't sense the smell, but both my partner and I smelled it, and this was on their Inspira rooms which are supposedly renovated and better. - The fridge of my room didn't work at all, I also asked for service and help on it and they said that it works but it was just going to take a while to cool up, but the fridge just never worked. - The food quality was meh 😕 some dishes were great, but the majority were meh and some were really bad, as in 'not edible at all'. - The vegetarian options were very limited, their veggie patties for the hamburgers had a really bad taste. - For a pet-friendly hotel, there were no water stations for dogs at all. - I bet they will probably reply with a generic 'sorry' comment.

Most of the staff was very nice but we had an incident with one of the workers. Important information - after checkout you can’t stay in the pool and restaurants area without extra charge, you can only sit in the lobby. The clerk (Named Alberto) said we can pay 10$ and enjoyed the hotel's facilities until 4pm. We decided to add the payment but we asked to stay until 6pm because our flight was in the evening. We suggested to add more money but the clerk was not willing to let us stay two hours extra. He said this is the rule of the company and could not be violated, so we asked to talk to the manager to ask if they can have an exeaption. As soon as we asked to talk to the manager the clerk began to be angry with us, he told us that we have no respect as people, and that we do not respect him and his work. He began to speak very rude and bluntly and hurt our feelings. Only after a long conversation he finally let us talk to the manager. The manager was kind and nice and said he would give us to stay at the hotel until the time we need before the flight without extra charge. We left pleased but not satisfied with the service of the same clerk, this is not the way to speak to customers. We think the hotel should do something about it.

During our stay at Oleo Cancun, we had a good experience overall. The staff was helpful and friendly, except for the people who were trying to sell us their "vacation club" A.K.A timeshare. They would approach us with discount offers and free rides to the airport, but the most frustrating part was when they shared our information with other employees and they would insist on us joining the presentation. We advise you to avoid engaging with them if you don't want to waste your time. We specifically had a bad experience with Yessica, who was very pushy and rude when we declined. It was disappointing to have this happen on our first days at the hotel. The 4 stars are for the rest of the staff who did a great job and made our stay better!

Service is exceptional Enrique Antonio Juan and Raul! Exceptional. Best resort I've ever been too. Has so many amenities. You may not get a wide assortment but man the service is second to none the spa magnificent. Photos are available if it's that special time. 24/7 room service with views. Must visit

Amazing view from our room at the topmost floor. Staff were all very nice and treated us really well. I guess the beach is a given but it still is amazing this side of the Caribbean Sea. We stayed here primarily because it’s not a big hotel, it’s not crowded and we never had to wait to eat in any of the restaurants. Room service also really good, we requested for some food that wasn’t on the menu if it was possible, and they did it! We booked for tours and water activities from within the resort and they all were excellent. We had lots of fun and everything was awesome! Highly recommended.

Concept is great! All inclusive experience, with 4 restaurants to choose from, Rooms have all the essentials with a clean & simply aesthetic, great value! Location is great! Very close to the airport, so getting here is easy and fast, and if you want to visit the downtown area or Centro, you can take a quick taxi ride or bus as well, Service is very good but they are very pushy on getting your free-massage deal after having breakfast with their sales person for the time shares, this is even during registration and several times through out your stay .. so that’s expected but it turn annoying Other than that, it’s a great deal !

This is not the nicest resort we've been to in the Cancun area and it's a little disappointing in comparison. If you haven't been to any others, though, this will still be nice. We knew it was a smaller hotel when we booked it. Turns out that I prefer more dining options and more than 2 bars. Their entertainment was good on the nights we went. The Michael Jackson show was very, very good. The beach area is fabulous! It's not rocky, and you can walk a long way in either direction on the beach. There aren't enough beach chairs but the staff will help you and let you know when some are empty. It's not a big deal to sit on your towel on the sand if you're okay with not having chairs. No rooms with King beds available when we were there. The room we had was okay, and I did enjoy the balcony. If you can get a room on the end, the ocean view would be even better! There's no furniture on the balcony so we took chairs from the room to sit out there. Not a big deal but the other resorts I've been to in the Cancun area already had chairs on the balcony for you.

It was beyond my expectation!!! For the past 20 years I come to Cancun every single year but I always go to the places where someone recommended... I obviously also read reviews, but you can’t rely on strangers opinions.. this time no one recommended to me and unfortunately reviews wasn’t so good, but it was spontaneous vacation for 4 days only.. and I just took a chance and I’m not regret it 5+++

Amazing resort. Staff were all very nice and treated us really well. Not too crowded so we never had to wait to eat in any of the restaurants which had delicious food. 24 hr room service a big plus for late night cravings. We booked for tours and water activities from within the resort and they all were excellent. We had lots of fun and everything was awesome! Highly recommended.

This place is AMAZING!!! My wife and got married here two years ago and what a magical place. This all-inclusive resort includes starbucks, multiple restaurants, a buffet, food and drinks brought out to you while you're sunbathing. The views from the rooms are breathtaking. I would give them 100 stars if i could. Plus, the location is about as convenient as it gets. The airport is right down the street. Can't wait to come back!!!

Oleo Cancun was fantastic! While not overly extravagant, the warmth of fellow guests and the excellent service from the staff made the experience truly exceptional. I felt at home surrounded by familiar faces, such as Mauricio, the friendly individuals at the inside pub, and the poolside crew. Everyone was wonderful, and despite the challenges of the job, your continuous smiles made us all happy. Thank you for that!

I stayed at the Oleo Cancun Playa with my family for 5 nights in early June. The hotel is clean, service is excellent, and location is great too. However, food/drink choices, and the quality were not as great as everything else, but it was ok. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Oleo Cancun Playa.

My girlfriend and I stayed here and our experience was 10/10. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond expectations. They were always smiling, very friendly, and expressed genuine care. The servers at the pool and beach would always check in to see if we needed anything, the lobby staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the cleaning staff was friendly and on top of things. Antonio, the pool entertainment MC, was amazing! He was positive, lively, and hilarious! I can't say enough about how incredible the whole staff was. The bed we had was one of the best beds we had ever slept on. The ocean view we had from our room was breath taking. The only thing we didn't like was that people were reserving chairs first thing in the morning and not using them for hours on end. A few more chairs for the amount of guests they have would probably resolve this. Overall we had a really great time and will be back. Sincerely, Poncho

I am convinced the 5 star reviews are from friends and family of the resort, as they are all so vague and all sound fake. Everything at Oleo was fake. I was on the fence when booking Oleo and we are sorry we ruined our vaca by staying here. If you can read this and you are on the fence as well, PLEASE Take my advice and run now. From the second you enter be prepared for NON STOP harassment to join their presentation and to be a good sheep and join their timeshare club as told. They literally stalk you from your hotel room to pool side all day long using many tactics for this one goal in mind. They questioned my wife so many times asking for proof that we were married and forced us to show photos of our baby. The pool water is as cold as ice, NO heat at all ! Very few people were brave enough to use the pool! The drinks are heavily watered down! 6 shots of tequila and two glasses of absolute later, and I hardly felt a slight buzz. Usually one shot glass and this lightweight is tipsy. It's thievery, not a getaway. No pool or drinks sounds like a horrible place to stay. The room comforter had blood on it. The AC unit was defective in our room. The windows didn't open at all so no fresh air! Like a jail cell. The coffee bar was actually decent which I can justify the one star. Even the day we left we refused to use their taxi service and the security was following us to report the public taxi we hired. I'm so happy to be home. Huge Cancun turn off. Entertainment was OK but very weak. The staff was pleasant and respectful aside for the hustlers. The food was OK at best, but kind of odd selection. The two restaurants were actually good I must say. One night they made the sushi with hard rice, the other time it was good. So that's also a positive. Just overall a very makeshift place. 100% never going back if they paid me and gave me a week for free.

It's my 3rd stay at this place and I was pleased with everything that this tiny hotel has to offer. Staff is awesome and most of them who worked last year recognized us right away (that was very welcoming). Drinks were good (not water downed and from unknown no name bottles like you may see at some destinations). Special thanks to Elizabeth, Rodriguez and Antonio. The food did not have a huge variety, but for the most part the stuff they served was tasty, authentic and homemade-like (fresh quesadillas in the morning were amazing). The rooms were clean and the view was unbelievable. I can't wait to be back sometime in the future

I came to the Oleo for the first time and it was wonderful beyond my expectations. The staff is super friendly and my cravings for Mexican vanilla ice-cream everyday were satisfied! This is a minimalist luxury facility. Stop complaining about the lack of luxury. I could walk on the beach , swim in the blue waters of the gulf and eat in the two gourmet restaurants and the buffet,. Have drinks by the pool, and on the beach and they do room service (hence my ice cream satisfaction) for 5 days and it was awesome!! it is also a family friendly facility.Thank you, Oleo! you rock!!

I highly recommend Oleo. Personally, my boyfriend and I had an amazing time and it was a beautiful and positive atmosphere. After reading all the 1-star reviews I was astonished. Although I know everyone has their own experiences. The only two cons for us were our AC didn’t work in our room. However, we brought it up to someone in the lobby and they put someone on it right away and it was fixed within the hour. And the other was due to an impending rain storm a lot of areas on the beach were closed off for swimming. Which was a bummer but I understand they have guidelines and safety measures they have to take for all their guests. Other than those two things which were small issues to us we had a 100/10 experience. The staff for one were incredible. We had two awesome gentlemen that worked at the pool bar. I unfortunately only remember one of their names which was Rodolfo. He was incredible. He stayed on top of our food and drinks. As soon as we were either done or getting there, he had another one waiting. He also was spot on with recommending drinks. They both were. He also grabbed us new towels whenever we came out of the pool so we had a warm and dry towel waiting for us to dry off. All of our drinks were strong. All the staff overall was super kind and accommodating. They had live singers and musicians in the lobby each night we were there. We also had another wonderful gentleman that worked at Symmetry and the excursion spot (I think his name was Manuel but I don’t remember). He recommends an amazing ATV tour and some local spots to try around the hotel. The hotel also offered karaoke at night as well as activities for kids. As for the restaurants, our favorite was Hakka but all the food was fantastic. We also ordered room service every night on top of our dinners and our food was correct each time. I have an allergy and everywhere we went they assured me that what they brought me was safe and good to eat. Our room also had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the sunrise in the morning. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in this resort with high expectations of a boutique resort. We’ve stayed at 6 different resorts in Cancun and this one was a little disappointing. The good aspects of this resort was the foods quality. One of the best. It did lack the options of other resorts. Also the beach was fantastic. Best or second best beach area we’ve stayed at. But unfortunately It is small and has no volleyball court Now for the bad. The resort in clearly in need of some major upkeep and maintenance. Our AC “worked” but never got the room colder than 72F. Wasn’t pleasant to sleep in 72-75 degree temps. There were leaks in the ceiling in the hallway, handrails on stairs were loose and didn’t provide much stabilization going up or down and paint was worn away on the exterior. Then there was the service. This resort only boosts 2 restaurants that are sit down. Again the food was good but every time we went it took over an hour (the last night it took 2 hours) to get our main course. These restaurants are small and often not busy. It was hard to understand why it took so long to get 2 people there food. Overall the resort was fine. There just wasn’t much to do at the resort. I’d say it’s target audience is an older population who wants to lay by the pool. With one bar in the resort and minimal space there isn’t much room for socializing and enjoying the evening. We did enjoy the majority of the stay but would not go back as this is probably ranked 5th out of the 6 we have stayed at.

It’s one of the best resorts in Cancun. Stayed there for 4 nights, got a wonderful hospitality. All the staff is welcoming, with big smiles on their face. Alexis is a nice guy, and been very supportive in guiding us during our stay at resort. Food is fresh and yummy. Pool side bar is cherry on the cake. I look forward to coming back soon.

this is an amazing resort. the staff was very friendly and helpful. they would go out of their way to do anything for you. they'd come down to the beach to take your food/drink order. The drink bar by the pool was awesome. The rooms were quite nice as well. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Highly recommend Oleo. We prepaid for our room so the airport transfer was included and super easy. Booked 180 degree room which is on the top floor of tower 1....WOW. I was not sure what to expect from the pictures online but the room was perfect and the balcony was as large as the room! Staff was great and chairs at the pool were easy to get. I will say you should try and get a chair with an umbrella on the north side as it was nice to get under when you have had enough sun. Rodriguez was great at the pool. Lobby bar was a great time for a drink or 2 before and after dinner, Jonathan was the man and keep you full on drinks. Meals were good. Tip the staff. Good mix of countries represented. Only issue was on the final day the wind shifted and rattled the sliding door all night.

There are more pros than cons. Overall nice place and well kept grounds. Great breakfast buffet and pretty decent restaurants on site. Friendly staff and nice beach and pool area. They cleaned our rooms daily. The downside is the person trying to sell you something after you check in and a small amount of beach/lounge chairs. Also the gift shop is extremely overpriced! $321 for shirts?! And a few trinkets. Insane.

Extremely pleasant place! The service was kind and offered us cold refreshments when we first entered. The room was also crazy good. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and there was a bottle of sparkling wine for me and my husband to enjoy - including a plate of sweet treats for my kids. The downsides were that the two beds were somewhat small for a family of four and not everything was free. When we were at the cafe there was an assortment of things that costed money. But the tennis court made up for it! Thank you Oleo hotel!

We came for relaxation No spa services or excursions! Celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I originally booked the Sunset Jr suite, but once arriving we decided to see if we could upgrade. So we were upgraded to Inspire status! Rm#1608 I wasn’t impressed I was told that it had 2 Queen beds, but the room was just dated for my liking. Then we met Raul at the Lobby Bar & he basically took time & asked us how our stay was. Now I’m not going to even say how ppl walking around with the yellow wristbands were being treated way better than us with red wristbands! Back to Raul he was able to get our room changed to Rm#1801. Magnificent we have a view of both the Ocean & the Bay! I just can’t understand how we paid $120 extra when we arrived for Upgrade and the room we got at fist was nothing compared to the next room we got! My advice if traveling here in the off season don’t waste your money upgrading because you don’t get anything special except sitting at the beach!!! Overall the resort is nice the food was good, but I don’t feel like I got the exceptional service that upgraded should have given us! If you ever come check out Raul wherever he is!! He was the best thing here😊

How much you like this place is completely based on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a massive complex where you never have to leave the resort, this is definitely NOT the place for you. We were looking for a place with a large clean room, with amenities, and to be able to be on the beach within 5 min of leaving the room. That is what we found here. It is "all inclusive," but what that really means is that food and drink are included as well as some limited entertainment. The only thing that started to get old were the hard sales for tours and excusions every time I walked through the lobby. I can promise you that the drinks are NOT watered down here. I can say the same of the tours we went on. If we come back, we plan to stay at Oleo again.

It was nice the let down is that dirt water was coming through my pipes and I had an allergic reaction to the water. I didn't appreciate paying for all inclusive on arrival I have to pay tax per day all of this should be in one payment. I didn't like the fact that after check out to use the facilities you have to pay. my flight was an evening flight check out was at 12 my transport time was about 3 so 3hrs waiting time I have to pay $10 to keep my wristband to use the facilities. All my travels I never heard of this. Otherwise from this it's a nice place to stay one thing they need to improve on their cocktails .

Spent the weekend here. The place is older, but we'll maintained. We had a small issue with our save not closing, but that was quickly repaired. Our mini fridge never got cold and was only a minor inconvenience and was not a deal breaker. We loved the beach and swim up bar. The food in the restaurants was very good. A healthy selection for lunch and breakfast buffet. They even had a Friday night fiesta buffet outside on the pool deck. Once again, the servers were all great and attentive. It was busy, so you had to sometimes be a little patient. Will definitely return someday. It was such a relaxing time at this resort. Away from all of the hustle and bustle of the north end of the island. A must visit resort

Our recent stay at Oleo Cancun Playa was exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and trustworthy and were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early as there were rooms available. They all go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They also readily assisted us when there were some issues involving our transport to the airport. The housekeeping staff, in particular was amazing in rooms 3405 and 3408. Accommodations themselves were clean and very comfortable. We were also impressed with the quality and variety of the food at the restaurants. All in all, the food was delicious, there was a lovely ambiance and the service was brilliant. Also, no reservations are required in advance for any restaurant. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience; the environment was stunning and the amenities were great. We usually never revisit hotels we've been to, but we'll definitely be returning to this one!

I had the most relaxing and enjoyable birthday vacation! The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable. Both Raul and Maxi are exceptional bartenders and made my stay comfortable and entertaining. They have such lovely personalities and very genuine! Raul is very sweet and tends to all the drinks your heart desires! :) service is 10/10. Maxi and him left a great impression on me and everyone else and everyone’s favourite bartenders! The ocean is beautiful, with warm white sands and beautiful sunset and sunrise views. The resort also has 2 pools, with one being a pool bar.

This is a review for an all-inclusive experience... We went for a quick getaway (3 days). The service was amazing, Rey and the beach service really put the cherries on top! Our room was really big and it was cleaned and restocked daily. The buffet food was delicious. There are 2 restaurants on site, they didn't impress me. They might be better during a busy season. They provide towels but you get towel cards when you check in. When towels are returned at the end of the day, the cards are returned. Drinks and food were always available. There wasn't nightly entertainment, so we thought more than 4 or 5 days, it might start to feel limke Groundhog Day. The hotel has beach access that is super close. I've never stayed at a hotel that is so close to the beach. The only "complaint" and it's not much of a complaint as much as an FYI- the hot water in the rooms takes a long time to get warm, like 30 minutes, especially, if you want a shower in the morning. The water isn't ice cold, it's still bearable but takes a while to get hot. The resort is 6 miles from the airport. We did not try room service. Overall, if give it 4 stars, because of the extra restaurants and hot water in the rooms need work.

Nice hotel but struggling to find its place I think. Nice food but no buffet at dinner, only separate dining rooms which were trying to be high end but not quite making it. Food overall was pretty good especially the breakfast and pool bar 🍻 There are also not enough umbrellas for shade by the pool. Tipping is expected but staff very amenable and Antonio's entertainment team at the pool were just that...entertaining!

Where do I start….? I’ll start with the staff. The staff were nothing short of amazing!!! The kindness, the hardworking and the overall willingness to ensure we were happy. Now, let’s get to Enrique, Raul and Eduardo at the bar. They made this stay 100% worth it. I have never been treated so well by any stay on any of my stays. Enrique was a class act, always made sure my were full and man all that tequila!!!! We walked away missing Oleo. It was crazy. It wasn’t the hotel, it was the people. Definitely recommend staying here for a great price. Can’t wait to book the next trip!!! -Kenny

Honest review here. I recently stayed at the Vine (5 star) prior to Oleo, so I had to compare. PROS: Oleo far exceeds the Vine in service and beach front and price. The Vine is large hotel with very small beach front which was stressful to find nice spot on beach with family together. The Oleo service in restaurants and the beach exceeded my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the smaller feel of this hotel. The food and drinks were very good. The rooms were nice and clean, bed and linen’s comfortable. CONS: most rooms do not have balcony which I enjoyed the large balcony at the Vine. And in comparison, the furnishings (dresser/couch) looked a little tired. The Vine offered more restaurants, but that didn’t matter to me, the food at the Vine wasn’t great. OVERALL: recommend, great value, I will return!!
