I stayed here a couple days ago 6/28-7/1 with my boyfriend. The service here was great. The staff was excellent, Very friendly and attentive. However the reviews I read prior to staying here were about right… this hotel needs some serious remodeling, better food quality, and Definitely A/C!!! I was very surprised that the resort only had A/C in the guest rooms and gift shops even though the weather was very HOT and HUMID. We tried to switch our room to a king bed and the room was not very cold at all. We decided to stay in our room where the AC was way cooler. The rooms were okay and looked a bit shabby. The beds were low to the floor, linen was cheap, TV was pretty small and outdated, and furniture had some scratches and stains. The food was not that good at all and once again the restaurants were very humid, except for one. Drinks were pretty good. The pool, bars, and ocean view was nice. If you’re looking for a cheaper resort to lay your head, this will do. Otherwise I would recommend spending a little more money to stay in a more comfortable resort with better food options, entertainment, and air conditioning.

As a high level guidepost reviewer, what a disappointment! We came here last year. We loved it. We are currently here and what a huge disappointment. We understand different management took over. Staff has apologized for bad conditions. Only had one elevator for the entire resort & sometimes that didn’t even work. Dripping ceilings & walls. Mold everywhere. No fridge in room as promised. No wash cloths or hand towels in bathroom. One bath towel. No snacks, microwave or coffee. Room service never answers. The water smells like sewage. Gags you brushing your teeth. Most the time elevator doesn’t work. Ran out of towels at pool. Said we’d have to wait 2 hours. Cut WAY BACK in entertainment. Food at steak house was our favorite. This year AWFUL. Staff was friendly & very apologetic. Breakfast had to be preordered. We ordered today, and it came late and was NOT what we ordered or even close. Same next day. Leaks everywhere and smelled like mold. Water in bathroom smelled like sewage. Room service awful. We won’t be back and will refer NO ONE.

Had a positive experience at this slightly older but clean and well maintained property. The service was by far the standout. Nice beach access that people from the neighboring resort seemed to prefer (I noticed they would come to our beach to enter the ocean because there was less seaweed on our beach. It was all inclusive and the food and drinks were good. Our air conditioning wasn't great in the room but they brought in a great oscillating fan to compensate.

The service here is top notch. Carlos over at the sixties room is an amazing bartender. Jose and Daniel treat you like royalty. It's over the top service here. Volley ball is fun. The spa is great too. Hot tub could be warmer at night but it's okay. Rooms are outdated and a/c in the rooms is a bit moldy. But honestly didn't sleep much did more partying and having fun outside of the rooms.

My husband and I went here recently for my 40th birthday celebration to get away for a few days. This place is a bit older than others but with being all inclusive the service, atmosphere, staff were all amazing from the minute we arrived. We felt welcome and had such a relaxing, fun time. There was music and entertainment around the pool every day, but not crazy just enough to enjoy and feel like you're on vacation & some nights they would have something going on as well. It was exactly what we needed in location being on the beach, nice pools, relaxing, decent clean room and easy to get drinks. Even on the beach, someone was always coming around. We had a great time and would definitely come back to this resort!

We recently stayed at the Golden Parnassus for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The facility was beautiful and the food was great. But the best part was the staff. Everyone we encountered was so kind and helpful. They all deserve 5 stars and bonuses :) Special shout-out to: Martin on the entertainment team who made us laugh every day, Fermin at the poolside bar who made great drinks and helped us party the night away, Irving Carlos and Oscar in the buffet restaurant were amazing and remembered our breakfast orders everyday. I can’t say enough about how great they were! Overall definitely would come again!

We loved everything about this place! It is not the newest or flashiest, but was clean, fresh and our ac was colder than we could stand- we were in an ocean view room, #226. We could hear late night party, but it didn't bother or sleep at all. Hot showers, great food, felt very safe, and staff brought the fun. The service was great! Julian, Martin, Javier, Fermini, Alfonso, Carmen, Gamaliel, everyone!! ❤️ We're planning our return trip soon!

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! This resort was amazing! We had an absolute blast! The customer service was the best we’ve experienced in all the countries we have visited! Silverboy and Martin at front lobby area, Ricardo, Luis, Octavio, the activities guys Martin and I can’t remember the other guy and Rosa and Marisol who scheduled the spa and catamaran which was free! Also limo parties for free! Tequila valley is so fun and hilarious!

This resort is amazing!! the rooms are nice with good air conditioning. the sheets were clean and the maid staff was so sweet and very quicks to respond. the check in front desk girls were so sweet and always willing to help us. the other employees were so nice and very respectful. everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a good vacation. everyone was so kind. the food at all the restaurants was so good! the drinks were fantastic. the hotel sits right on the beach which is amazing. they do fun things like have a band play and do things like dance competitions and volleyball games. the security was amazing and there is someone at the entrance and exit 24/7 which made us feel very safe. only downfall to this resort is the restaurants have weird schedules and sometimes are closed and other times are open. most of the restaurants all open around the same time too which is unfortunate for people who like earlier dinners because most of them open between 6 and 7pm. otherwise, it was great!! we will definitely be staying there again.

This is good budget friendly resort. It is quiet so if you are looking for activities and night life this is not for you, but is you want quiet, relax, and peaceful this is it. The staff is attentive, the food is delicious, the drinks flow smoothly and consistently 😋. The rooms are a little outdated. My ocean front room didn't have the best view but overall I was satisfied.

Excellent food and service! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful! Ask housekeeping for bottled water to avoid paying fees. This is a smaller adults only resort. Very easy to navigate. Excellent food options and excellent staff! I would definitely return. If you are a vodka drinker I would suggest bringing your own but that is my only complaint.

I do not recommended this resort. Thought we’d save a little $ and try this place out..big mistake, we should have listened to the reviews. 1. The place is old as hell and it shows. Our room smelled like mold (the whole place smelled terrible) and it was overwhelming. I tried to adjust the shower head and it literally came right out of the wall!! Unreal! 2. They serve burgers, hot dogs, fries etc at the snack shack. But when we asked for ketchup they said they didn’t have any. Not sure if they were out or what?? Maybe just go to the store and get some?? They charged me $250 for early checkout (stayed 1 night but had booked the whole week) and gave me a refund for the balance. Then we walked about 10 min to the JW Marriott where we booked the rest of the week. It wasn’t that much more expensive but it was amazing! Moral of the story..you get what you pay for!

Run don't walk from this run down resort... Frist off I had to update to say they are thieves and we take your money even though I had canceled well within 30 days. I have stayed here in the past and was trying to arrange a quick trip down the week after Christmas but had to cancel a few weeks back. Cancellation was confirmed but no refund even though it was cancelled over 90 days out. Only one response back from customer service even though I have sent over 20 emails requesting an update. They took my money and will take yours if you don't watch them. I will never step foot on this resort ever again unless since they took my money I just show up the week after Christmas and surprise them. Will I?

Cannot complain with this resort! I absolutely loved the staff and service most of all. Everyone was so helpful, attentive, and genuinely so nice. Everyone made us feel special and heard. The food was better than I expected for an all-inclusive resort with tons of options. The rooms were clean and pretty. The view was unbeatable. The seating was super easy to secure without waking up at the crack of dawn. I almost want to keep this place a secret, but the Golden Parnassus deserves this 5-star rating and I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for an amazing week!

Would not stay here again. The service was phenomenal, but the food was almost inedible. All of the restaurants serve pretty much the same stuff, as well as the buffet. It’s all the same. There were only 2-3 options for food each night, the restaurants are only open certain days of the week. So that was a bummer. But we decided after only two days that we wanted to eat out for dinner anyways, so it wasn’t an issue. There are top notch, 5 star restaurants all up and down the street within walking distance of this place. I would recommend checking out those places instead. Harry’s and RosaNegra were the BEST. Definitely more of a club/party scene than we were expecting. Don’t stay here if you’re looking for a quiet vacation. There were constant activities and music and pool games going on. Which is awesome if you’re looking for group activities! But two of the nights, they had live music in the LOBBY that went on from about 9pm-11. We were on the top floor but the floors are all open from top to bottom so we heard the music very clearly. Not good.

It’s my 4th time here with my girlfriend. I have to say this place is not what is used to be. It’s very run down place that they try to update but can’t keep up. They used to make up for it with staff and quality of service but since the management changed early this year service and food is just not good. We stayed 5 nights. First they gave us one room but later said it wasn’t for us and gave us different room. Room did not have a fridge but we paid for upgraded room. Every day I went downstairs and asked for a fridge and every day I was told it was coming. Fridge never came. Water is horrible there and it smells really bad. Fountain drinks are flat as f. If you ask for a Pepsi in a bottle they will let you know it’s not free. Drinks made at the bar are weak at best. Unless you give the bartender a fat tip your drink will suck. Ordered breakfast in the morning and 2 hours later it never came. Tried to ordered dinner on my last day to the room and I was transferred to nowhere multiple times. Winds are blowing strong and glass is coming out of the frame in the balcony door. AC doesn’t cool at all. With winds blowing you can see window treatments moving even though doors are closed. If it rains keep your belongings away from the floor by balcony. Elevator broke so only one was working. So at least you get some workout in. Made reservations for Friday dinner on the boat. Was told to be there in the lobby at 7. It was raining so I called the lobby to verify if it’s still on. They said it was at 5 not 7. If you order steak you’ll receive a slab of fat that you need a saw to cut through. Main breakfast area was closed for repairs and opened later in the week. Do breakfast was in the hallway/lobby. When I asked employees about what happened to this place all that said was that management changed and things suck. Even our cleaning lady wouldn’t leave us 2 bottles of water because she saw that we had our own in the room. Sushi is basically nothing but rice. It’s probably 80% rice. Needless to say that I ended up with ear infection and had to spend 80 bucks on drugs. It took them 2 days to replace our phone in our room because it wasn’t working. I asked for bottled 7up and when guy brought it to me I opened it and it exploded in my face. Water drainage was bad. Went down to the pool. Towels were not there to use. Come back in one hour they said . I get it you get what you pay for but it used to be better there. I don’t really know what to recommend but I know not to recommend this place anymore. I will try to ask for partial refund.

Room was terrible. Celling was leaking so they changed room another room jacuzzi doesn’t start. 😔😔. No vegetarian food available. 2 restaurant are closed and other has only 1 option which is salad for vegetarian. We ate salad for 4 days. We loose a lot money on this resort. Not recommend at all. If you are vegetarian, highly recommended don’t go.

Nice views the beach was nice. The rooms are a bit outdated. The food was not the best. The AC in my room wasn’t quite cool. The location is good. Took long to check in only 2 receptionists at that time took me about 30 minutes waiting. The buffet food could be better with more options. The tacos were good.

I would recommend this hotel for first time vacation. This will give basic room accommodations and mediocre food. I have experienced a few all inclusive vacations and this hotel could use an upgrade. Location is in middle of seaside beach.. A nice experience of the Gulf of Mexico. I wouldn't expect much from entertainment crew. They were weak. It was a quiet hotel if that is what your looking for in a vacation.

I can say enough great things about this place. Elmer at the front desk he was so great and helpful. To all the bartenders who remembered our drink order and had them on stand by. To Martin at the concierge desk who made sure we knew where we were going. To all the amazing food we ate at all hours of the day and night lol this place was well worth the money. Our views were spectacular from our room.

My husband and I stayed a week at the beginning on August 2022 and had such an awesome time that we also ended up booking an extra night and now we will be returning at the end of September for our anniversary. Our room was fresh and cool the whole time. The food is so delicious at all the restaurants! Also no reservations needed which is an absolute perk in the all inclusive world! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait till we get there again next month!

My and my BFF went here the week of her birthday 12/14 /23 we was greeted by the beautiful Valentina and our bell guy was Martin. If you’re looking for a nice place to go and relax and have fun it’s worth it for the money. The food in the Brazilian or Spanish place is delicious and fresh. We had several waiters like Oscar, Erik, Herberth, Antonio and Pedro! Excellent Customer Service and family feel. I will go back and visit. My first time it was amazing! I will go back again! LOVED this Place!❤️❤️🥰❤️❤️

Amazing views, great value. The rooms were very clean and everyone that works there from the front desk staff, housekeeping, bartenders, etc. are amazing and super helpful. Four stars because the food was just OK (except at The Barn, where everything was great!) and mixed drinks were hit or miss. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back with friends.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Me and my sister came for spring break. The staff was AMAZING. Drinks were great, they were constantly looking out for us, and truly the kindest people I have ever met. The room was fine, no issues and we didn’t come to Mexico to sit in a room. The food was okay, just depended on the restaurant. We met the best people, had absolutely no issues, and will ABSOLUTELY be returning over and over. If you come here with the expectation to meet people, stay outside, and not sit in your room- you will absolutely love this place.

This place gives very homely, comfortable and amazing vibes. Check in staff can be a little more friendlier. However their restaurant staff especially the staff in the morning in The Paradise were absolutely great. Very helpful, friendly, and sweet. The places seems to be a little bit older so the rooms do not have latest and fanciest equipment but they are clean and spacious ad sufficient for a good stay. And the housekeeping staff does a good job at removing all the beach sand that you bring in your room. The pool area is very well maintained by the hotel, there are always fun activities organized by the hotel for example Foam party at the pool, beach volleyball, karaoke, and much more drinks keep coming at their multiple bars inside the hotel and at the pool and their beach area. The staff at their Pier 12 restaurant can work on providing a faster service but the food overall in all restaurants was great, a vegetarian person like me will need to get creative with their options but for everyone else the food is delicious. Their 60's club also has fun games like pool table and a bar of its own. There were some places in the hotel that had leaks and seemed old but the staff was also working on fixing it. So overall an amazing stay at this place and there was never a dull moment here. For a simple, authentic and amazing relaxing time, this would be one good option.

This resort is an Adult Only resort and spa. Which was perfect for me because I didn't want to hear kids screaming and running around while I was enjoying a peaceful retreat. Loved the customer service. The chef downstairs next to the pool who makes the tacos at night is very friendly and has no problem making them as you prefer. The ocean view room has a beautiful view. The entire staff at Golden Parnassus customer service is a 10-10. Free room service is included in the all inclusive. The club that's located near the front entrance of the resort, called "The Sixties", is the best place to get your drinks. Overall, this will be my go to resort to stay whenever I'm in Cancun. You also have 4 different restaurants to chose from to eat at all inclusive. All I did was tip the servers. The staff are so thankful for the tips that they receive. All in all, I had a great experience.

Okay…So if you are looking for an honest review you will find that here! I stayed at Golden Parnassus from 1/5-1/9. I booked this stay weeks ago. I was super excited when I arrived to find out my reservation was cancelled. The girl at the front desk was super rude and did not know much about anything. I asked can I just rebook with her because every other hotel did not have the dates. Instead of booking, she sent me to the website where she helped guild me to the room that was available in her system. After paying them $2,300 she told me i had to wait for the reservation to clear. I did so but when it took extremely long I went back to check it out where I was told I had to pay an additional $324. I did so to get us to our room because at this point they ruined the entire first day of our vacation. Long story short on 1/8 i was contacted by priceline where I originally book who told me they confirmed with the hotel that I still had a reservation and had no idea why the hotel charged me. When I went to the agent she proceeded to act like she had nooo idea what I was talking about and that I never created a NEW reservation with them on 1/5 with her directly!! It was the same agent that helped me whenI arrived! Now regarding the resort itself. The room is dated and because it was windy and we were on the top floor there was a vent in the ceiling that made noise all night. We stayed in a club ocean view suite. The jacuzzi was useless because it was dirty when turned on. The bathroom came with a tiny bar soap and the towels and rags were all stained. Our bedding was stained as well even after being changed. We had to go out and buy our own everything. The best thing about this room was the view of the pool and ocean which was breath taking. All restaurants close at 10:30 PM but you do have access to late night snacks for room service which can take 45 minutes which is expected. Old barn is open on specific days. They have free breakfast in the morning you can go down and get or fill it out for room service. They run out of beach towels often so keep that in mind. The drinks are watered down so you will need a lot to feel anything. There’s really no night time entertainment and the only thing that could be ok is the tiki bar and sixties to play pool. The food wasn't really too good. We had salmon most times and chicken and rice and maybe a salad here and there because everything else was bland. The customer service from bartenders and room service plus the taxi men were amazing and made this terrible experience a little better. The elevator was old and I thought it would break down every time we were in it. A max of 3 people could fit on. There were leaks all through the building and the ceiling fell apart in the 6th floor where we were located! I would not recommend but if you decide to stay here I would advise bringing your own towels, rags, bedding, soap and conditioner. Also tip in USD. This resort was such a horrible experience for the price that I paid that I wish I had just went to an airbnb instead. Ruined my entire trip.

My daughter and I booked this resort for a 5 day girls trip. Over all it was good. The facility is old and could use updating. Our room was clean, but smelled damp much of the time. We chose a room that faced the lagoon which was quite beautiful, especially at sunset. There were multiple leaks in the lobby and of the 6 restaurants, 2 were closed during our stay. I was a bit frustrated at how often they ran out of guacamole, however, the Breeze restaurant had the most amazing tacos! The beach was beautiful with plenty of chairs. The pool was decent and the staff was super friendly. (Get up early to get a towel!) The crowd was diverse and pretty chill. It is a 3-star place and it was about half the cost of other places we looked at. For the money, it was good enough. I would stay here again.

When we arrived we had to wait for our room and when it was ready we didn't have any towels or blanket. The room had a bad odor and the jacuzzi looked old. The shampoo and soap was bad. The quality for the All inclusive food and Liquor was cheap. The only time the food was better was the buffet for New Years Eve. The workers were not friendly and when I called Room Service, order Cappuccino and they said it was not available at that time..Simply I would not go back!!!

I had an amazing time! My ONLY complaint is that the hotel room was hot, (23.4° C/75° F) with AC on, and there was water leaking from what I think my have been the air conditioner. We woke up with a puddle of water between the closet and bathroom a couple of mornings. The food was ok. The hotel had plenty of free entertainment, including a Mexican fiesta with a mariachi band, a Broadway Night, and a foam party. We met some pretty fun people. I would stay again. The lobby area is quite warm, but that's because it's open to the outside, so you get a nice breeze, but there is no AC in the main areas. The staff was amazing! Wi-Fi was good. I felt VERY safe.

I appreciate the swift check in process. Even though we arrived 3 hours early, they were able to hold our bags and we explored the resort and had our drinks. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING, the beach and pool was clean. The drinks were good, especially my favorite which was the Miami Vice, but even though I asked for double run, the drink wasn’t strong. The food was definitely a hit our miss. The buffet food court was okay, I recommend their breakfast over anything else they had. The sumo restaurant was not good at all. The Shanghai restaurant was better. The burgers from the pool side restaurant was delicious and their tacos, also the grilled food by the pool was great. The other two restaurants was closed due to renovations. Now the room, listen the view was absolutely beautiful from ocean view but the room was falling apart. There was a leak from the air conditioner which had me slip at 4am. Calling room service was horrible. I had to call several times to get extra towels. Then the door screws came off which we had to call several times for them to fix it. I spoke to the manager and he assured me that the supervisor of maintenance was going to check the room for us to ensure nothing else would happen within the 24 hours and give us a complimentary wine bottle but they never came. I would not recommend this resort. It was an old building so I am not surprised in the mishaps. Definitely pay to stay at an elite hotel and better amenities.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed. We had such an amazing time at Golden Parnassus. It felt like we were always 100% catered to and welcomed everywhere we went. The staff were hands down the best people I have ever seen work in hospitality. They are all so kind and friendly. They remembered so much about us even if it was just a few moments of interaction. Huge shout out to Javier at the front desk for being an absolute angel as well as Javier the wine man. Both Javier's were amazing! Also, every waiter/bartender who took care of us.

We stayed in February and had a fab time. Great choices of food and restaurants, entertainment staff during the day round the pool were amazing and made sure there were always activities to get involved in, had some great shows on at the hotel in the evening. All staff were fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for better service. They threw the best pool party with foam and inflatables etc. while we were there and the view from the hotel onto the beach was breathtaking. Would love to come back again!

Loved my experience at the Golden Parnassus. It might be one of the less expensive resorts in Cancun for its quality. The facilities are beautiful and clean. Rooms are nice and there is a great view if you are on the ocean side. The thing that really set this place apart for me was the staff. Incredible service. I'm very grateful to them all for making my trip fun and easy.

Positive points: 1- variety food available with 5 different restaurants inside the hotel with good quality 2- very nice beach and pool beside beach 3- nice staff Negative points: 1- very much noisy! ( we were there for Christmas time and they had show in the lobby all nights with very high volume that was seriously noise pollution for people who wanted to stay at their room! 2- old decoration 3- old sheets with wholes and stains 4- no mini bar and kettle inside the rooms (u have to order tea/coffee from room service which takes almost 1 hour)

The service here is top notch. Carlos over at the sixties room is an amazing bartender. Jose and Daniel treat you like royalty. It's over the top service here. Rooms are outdated and a/c in the rooms is a bit moldy. We had to switch rooms by the 3rd day. It was quiet in the upper rooms but 4 and below super noisy. Most of the restaurants on property were very good. A few warnings ⚠️ when you get to the airport don't let the people stop you after inspection. You think they are with the hotels but they are time share salesmen. We fell for the scam got a cheap catamaran ride but sat through 6 hours of sales BS.

Wasn't much to complain about for being here the first time. Room service was fast and very good! Very relaxing! Only thing they could use is a board to say what kind of entertainment was planned for the evening. All the restraunts are very good and very accommodating. The staff and maids are awesome!! Also would help to have like a paper to let us know what restaurants there was there so we didn't have to search on our own to see.

We had a great stay here. The staff was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Although the resort could use some updating (you get what you pay for), the food was good, the rooms were fine, and the pool/beach was fantastic. It's a smaller resort, so if you are expecting huge night time entertainment and tons of people around--this isn't for you. But, if you want staff who will go above and beyond, stay here. Carlos from the outdoor bar, the Martins (both by the front entrance and entertainment), Oscar, Daniel, Octavio--all made our stay fantastic.

I have nothing but great things to say about this resort! From the moment you walk in (and are greeted with "Welcome Home"), to the moment you walk out the door, the staff are attentive and friendly. The resort is clean and the staff works tirelessly to make sure it stays that way. It's only a short walk from the hotel to the pool and then to the beach, but I can guarantee everyone you encounter along the way will greet you with a smile and hello as you walk past. We loved that it didn't take long to go from place to place. The food was delicious, there was truly something for anyone. We went to the Paradise Buffet every day for breakfast and lunch and had the friendliest staff each day (special shout out to Carlos, Irving, and Oscar. They were incredible and made us feel at home). The entertainment staff was also unbeatable. They made us laugh every day, they made you feel like you were long lost friends, and they remembered people by their names. Martin and Eli, you made our trip what it was...and it was incredible! When we left, I felt like I was saying good-bye to some of my friends. I didn't want to go. We will definitely be back!
