First, everyone working at the hotel was very nice and polite. However, I will never stay here ever again. It seemed incredibly disorganized and understaffed. After a flight cancellation, we were put here by the airline. The elevator didn't work properly and you had to go up several floors to walk back down to your room floor. The first room we were assigned the keys did not work. After numerous attempts to fix the key, going to the front desk twice, calling the front desk, being told someone was coming we waited an hour sitting on the floor and no one came. We were then put in another room that was less nice with queen beds instead of a king like the original room we had. The room itself wasn't that clean and sand was all over the floor. The waiting, room switch etc made it too late to book a reservation at the restaurants that all required one to eat even though they were not full. The only place to eat was at the buffet which was incredibly unappetizing and was similar to hospital food. Would have appreciated some extra consideration and kindness during this ordeal.

This was our second stop in Cancun and even though they're not associated with each other it was quite a step up from the Krystal Cancun. The only real complaint and that I have about this place was it wouldn't allow us to put a credit card so we could Bill things to our room. You weren't allowed to pay cash in any of their restaurants so you had to make sure you had a credit card with you if you didn't do the all-inclusive for dinner or breakfasts. The whole place is very pretty and I really dug the design of the interior which all the rooms look down into the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The grounds we're really nice as well. They have an infinity pool in the back that looks out into the ocean and then a larger pool closer to the hotel. Only got into the infinity pool which was not heated which would have been nice. The beach though was pretty packed and not with Hotel guests. Don't know if there's a public access close but it was slammed! Walking distance to the downtown area which my wife and I did a few times. Only issue with that is because it is close you can still hear the Rave music pumping from Coco Bongo. It's not as pronounced as it was at the previous hotel we were at but you can hear it all day and night. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was very good and the staff was amazing. We had a pretty good today and if the price was right we might consider to come back here, but I probably would look for something a little farther away from the downtown area.

This place is beautiful.. but realize that's as positive as my review will go. It's the easy fruit I'm pulling from. First off they do not accept cash..at all except for tips, so if you don't want the all inclusive it gets tricky. They close down at 11. Literally shut off the lights at 11:00 pm, so basically it's a forced bed time. All inclusive but only for a select few hours. The food is on the same level of the cheapest all you can eat buffet that you can think of... maybe worse. Now, mind you I have a laundry list of things I was incredibly disappointed with but I'm not going to list each one. The staff are amazing people so I guess that's the second positive I'm going to give. For the money this place charges I can guarantee we will never be back after spending a week here. In summary the property and the people are great, the management is horrible. If your wanting a more authentic cultural experience do not stay here. It's a glorified pool with curfew for adults.

Pros: good location, new tower has nice views Cons: 1) Super important: water from taps have a strong chemical smell. The smell will stick to body after touching 2) At least 60% of all-inclusive customers can't eat in 3 out of 4 restaurants due to low capacity. Very poor seafood selection.

Where do we start. I’d say avoid this place like the plague. I had the club room, their best room. It was in tower B and the room had stains on the furniture and was just outright dirty. I’m attaching pictures so you can compare with their website. This was their “best room”. Many of the staff seemed to be making the best of it and were quite pleasant, and I did see people there enjoying themselves, but it wasn’t for me. If you want a hotel with clean rooms this won’t be for you either. The bedside table had ring marks on it from the previous occupants drinks that I could wipe off. So it simply hadn’t been cleaned. I’d paid for 3 nights up front. I lost my money because I had to leave it was that bad. They’ll no doubt reply to this review claiming service is very important to them, but it wont mean anything if they don’t offer me my money back for the nights I missed due to the revoltingness of it all.

The Krystal was a lovely resort! Honestly can’t complain too much at all - the only drawback was the food which could’ve probably been a bit better. The staff was amazing and so deserving of praise! They truly brought their A game every single day and made sure you were comfortable. I was also a huge fan of the pool, which was honestly massive, and the beach area! Would definitely choose to come here again rather than overpay at a 5 star resort somewhere else in cancun

Hotel staff were nice, but it's not such an accommodating hotel they don't try to please. Plus I paid extra for the "ocean view" and they gave me the other ocean view which was not of the Beach. Just the backyard of neighbor hotel and not as nice water. Technically its an ocean view but they could have clarified! Wouldn't repeat.

Rude stuff on reception including the manager, we’ve got unpleasant experience. Loud conditioner + it feels like it has mold there, there is a smell in the room. If u want to bring a friend to the hotel, it’s 50$ per day. All the sunbeds are occupied, you need to occupy them really early not to lie on the sand. Location is the only good thing about this hotel. I can’t believe they call themselves as “4 star” one, I barely consider them as 3. It needs renovation and being more customer friendly.

This was my 4th time visiting Cancun and every time I visit I stay at a different resort. This was my first time staying at Krystal Grand and it has been the worst out of my stays. The "welcoming staff" when we first arrived were not so welcoming. The guy at the front desk kept rubbing his head in pain indicating that he isn't feeling good so I tried to be nice to him but he was nothing but rude back. He kept being sarcastic and expected me to know everything as if I work there. The resort itself was HOT AC units don't work as good It was also pretty warm in the rooms as well. The staff for the most part were professional (away from that first night with the front desk personnel). The food wasn't all that. It's the same food (breakfast) daily and it got boring after a while. Food quality is like any other resort. Not all that. I can definitely say that this was my first and last time at that resort.

I will honestly give it 3.5-4 stars. Pros: - Cheaper as compared to surrounding hotels. - Good views from sea view rooms and nice private beach. - Lounge chairs are limited on the beach but plenty of lounge chairs around pools. Free beach towels. - Pools are big and pool water was warm. - In a relatively busy area so you will find lots of restaurants, bars and other activities around this hotel. - Daily room service. - Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Cons - My room had cobwebs around headboards. - The room looked old. There were cracks in bathroom mirror and shower. - It is closer to busy area so you can hear noise till late at night (more of a trade off than a con). - There are timeshare and sales rep in the lobby who try to ask personal information from get go. I just politely declined any questions. All in all this is a reasonable place if you want to spend less money and would spend less time in your room.

I was in Cancun with my wife for few days. My first time in Cancun and this hotel. This is a good hotel, located deep in the downtown hotel zone. Good location and accessible to stores and restaurants outside of the hotel. It was a clean hotel, the only reason I give them 2 stars is because 1) the bed and AC were not the best, the bed was very soft and the AC was not the best. We could not cool the room. 2) more importantly what bothered me the most and stressed me a lot during my stay were the ladies in the lobby trying to hassle you to buy tour packages for free meal or breakfast. We told them no but they were very insistent. It was so bad that we had to use the back door to leave and come to the hotel. I think the hotel needs to do something about this, guest should feel comfortable. I was not comfortable each time I walked into the hotel. Also another thing I noticed, when I booked my hotel, they did not say anything about environmental fee. They charged me a mandatory $11 for an environmental fee at check-in. I am not mad about the $11, but I am mad that they did not include this or say anything about this when I was booking the room. I wish they would include all fees in one section. For these reasons I give them 2 stars. If I ever go back to Cancun, I would probably not stay at this hotel.

I recently stayed here for vacation & it was BEAUTIFUL!!! My room was clean, housekeeping came everyday & kept it tidy, the view from my balcony was AMAZING!! The staff were friendly & the resort unexpectedly exceeded my expectations. My only critique is how many times I had to call down for room service to answer the phone. However, once they finally answered, my food came pretty fast & was actually good. Overall, I loved my stay & will definitely go back. It's a great place to stay if you want to relax a little but also have fun and good vibes. Thank you Krystal Cancún for treating me well during my stay ❤️

I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a complete experience! -Granted, at the beginning of the trip, we were dissatisfied with the rooms because of smell; but they were professional and changed rooms eventually to much better ones. Food was great! Fresh and a wide variety. I’m a vegetarian so was very glad to have many options. The service was really awesome as well. Friendly staff and an awesome variety of drinks. But I think the best thing was the view and feel. Location is everything: the beach, it’s feel, the view, the calmness. It made our trip an actual vacation.

This is a very busy hotel. We had a family room at Tower B. The view is amazing, you can see both the ocean and lagoon from the balcony. The room is spacious, come with a fridge, a kitchen sink, coffer maker and microwave. The room is clean, except the shower drains very slowly. Air conditioning is cold. The room will be nice to get some updates. The location is great, and the beach is amazing. The only thing I will complain about is the music from the nearby clubs. You can hear it from the afternoon till 4am. It's hard to sleep even when the balcony door is closed .

This hotel is amazing. Me and my partner when we were looking for a good inclusive hotel Krystal Cancun came up but my partner hesitated to book after reading reviews. But we end up booking coz of the price and We loved the hotel. Food was amazing also they hard out door dinners, very beautiful and thoughtful. However is reading this review DON'T hesitate to boom your beautiful vacation with this beautiful place. Everything was amazing. My partner want to book a better hotel but I said no I rather pay reasonable and 2 two vacations instead of bigger money pay for one vacation. Lastly I want to say about the hotel staff. They are amazing and very nice people specially Julio he had the best customer service and the best smile on him all the time. When I asked him why he's always happy in a joke way he said he loves what hes doing and he really respect his job and customer. I'm telling you don't ever loose this kind of employees they are the main reason like us customer are coming back to your facility. Julio, all other employees and beautiful hotel thank you so much for making out vacation memorable.

First you should know this is a time share location . I wish we knew that. You will be hounded the minute you enter the lobby every day!!! Even if you are just walking through the lobby. Stained sheets, old run down stinky rooms and restrooms. The only good thing about this hotel is the beautiful beach and view. Ceiling leaks all over the center in the lobby, elevators. Cracked mirrors with duct tape. No AC in central locations ( only in the rooms) only 1 restaurant , which is a buffet open until 6. We chose to eat else where the whole trip. Will never stay here again. Lesson learned. I am not sure why this place has any good reviews at all. I do agree with the reviews on the loud music all night.. it is hard to get rest.. but not a big deal.

We are currently here staying for a total of 7 days. One very important thing to keep in mind is that this hotel has Two towers. One is the main tower with many rooms and one is the altitude tower for adults only. When we booked we booked the main tower. The hotel grounds are very nice and well taken care of. The service has been great at the bars and pool side. However the main hotel rooms are in desperate need of renovations they don’t look anything like the pictures. The bed doesn’t have a box spring and you’re almost sitting on the floor. The a/c didn’t work in our room and there is also very little water pressure in the shower. We phoned the front desk and they sent someone up to look at our room however the guy said everything was fine. After our 3rd night of no a/c I asked to see the altitude tower. The rooms are beautiful and almost look new. We decided to upgrade for our last 4 nights however we did have to pay an additional $70 / night. Well worth it. We have a nicer view, a/c that works and actual beds. The restaurants are great and the sushi one of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this hotel however only the altitude side not the main hotel. You will regret it unless you don’t care about run down rooms and no a/c.

I'll start with the good. We loved the location and the beach. It's a 30min airport ride ($95 roundtrip we paid to the van the offered. Not sure if there are better/cheaper services.). Lots of good food places right outside. Right next to popular places. The bad...where do I start? 1. The SUPER aggressive sales techniques are VERY off-putting. There were literally, and I'm not even kidding, 20 (TWENTY) sales people in the hangout area who were hanging around stalking their prey. It was disgusting. I was watching them and their tactics and it just felt...slimy. Really, really gross. 2. The lines to check-in are long and take forever. Then they don't have your room. Then they offer you a different room for 1 night, then checkout the next day and check-in again 3 hours later. Just a big headache. VERY unorganized. 3. It's VERY loud there. From the loud thumping music outside to the SLAMMING of the doors by the other visitors to the hotel staff. The doors never stopped slamming. Very thin walls, so we could hear our neighbor's TV blaring and our other neighbors talking, all night. Like I said, we enjoyed the actual location of the hotel for the beach and the nearby food, but it just isn't worth it with all the other nonsense you have to deal with.

Cruz was a great server. Very attentive, polite and mannerly. Attended to our needs without missing a beat. He deserves a pay increase and a promotion. I wouldn't choose Krystal for another vacation. Rooms doesn't meet my expectations, Buffett is GARBAGE. The employees really try, but they aren't given much to work with with. Don't visit here.

DO NOT STAY HERE! THIS IS A TERRIBLE HOTEL. ROOM WAS DIRTY AND FULL OF BROKEN THINGS. SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE. When we got our first room, there was a broken plank and fallen nails all over the patio due to the overhead slats being unstable. The rest of the slats were also shaking constantly and looked as though they would fall at any moment. In the room itself, there were stains on the bed and the chairs. The bathroom and walls had several brownish yellow tinted areas, clearly from a lack of being cleaned. The room also was extremely loud due to the music coming from the beach club next door. After switching to a new room, we quickly noticed that the shower had no shower head. So when we turned it on, it would shoot a jet of water everywhere. This room was slightly better, but still full of signs of uncleanliness. Somehow, the service managed to be far worse than anything else. The front desk is completely unreachable by the phone in the room (no one would answer anytime we called). Going to the front desk wasn’t much better, as there was always a line of unhappy guests. The people at the front desk themselves didn’t know anything and would just try to get rid of you as quickly as possible by redirecting you elsewhere to talk to other people, only for those people to do the same thing and to redirect you back to the front desk. Here’s some examples: we tried to go to the COVID clinic, who told us that we should come back the next day because they were closed (this was an hour before the posted closing time) and that we would be able to get a test result within 2 hours of when we came this next morning. The next day, we came back only to be told we had to go to the front desk to make an appointment, and upon going to the front desk, we were once again redirected to a second reception area where (after a long wait) we were told that test results wouldn’t be delivered until 8 hours later. After finally getting a test elsewhere and returning to the hotel, we were told they had no more beach towels (they require towel cards to get a beach towel) and that there wouldn’t be any available “until later” without specifying what time. There seems to be no one in charge, the entire hotel is extremely poorly run and extremely disorganized. Management seems extremely negligent and more interested in squeezing every last cent of profits by cutting costs instead of focusing on properly running a hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was super nice and very helpful too, the ones in the front desk were available to us at all times. The staff at the tours desk helped us book tours to the whole trip ,they were very patient, kind, and like the rest of the staff, had great english. The room was great! big, clean, safe, supply of water and soaps and an amazing view to the sea. The food is also worth mentioning- especially the breakfast and the tacos.

Me and my wife stayed in the Krystal Cancun hotel for 2nights 3days in January 2023, where we had taken an all-inclusive package. The oceanfront view room was simply breezy and beautiful! The room-service was super quick. The beach access was simply the best and extremely convenient. However, the all-inclusive buffet was a total rip-off, when it came to vegetarian food. We are vegetarians, and we thought that at-least there would be quality and decent options in vegetarian food, but we didn't find any. When we asked the staff and chef for proper veg food, they pointed us to fruits, salads and spring rolls. Now, in contrast, the non-vegetarian options were plenty, probably more than 8-9 dishes collectively. We were there for almost 3 days, were we expected to eat the same fruits and salads, everyday? Made the all-inclusive stay not worth it. On the other hand, the Italian restaurant within the complex had good veg food, but we could only book the meal times, once during our entire stay. I suggest to keep more edible veg options in the buffet. Overall the stay and experience was awesome!

Nice hotel... but the gem on this place is the beach. Located at the end of the beach just by the breakwall its perfect. White sand and clay warm blue water. It's ranked as the #1 beach in Mexico. You cand go wrong just co.e for a day pass and enjoy. 4 pools and good beach food and drink service. Best way to get some sun and sea.

Was an absolute pleasure to stay in this hotel. The food in their restaurants was fresh with an abundance of flavours and a robust menu, especially "The Grill." The hotel was clean and inviting. The grounds were spectacular and well manicured. Access to the beach was quite accessible and the drinks and food were delicious coming from the beach bar. I would recommend this all-inclusive all-day long !! Far exceeding all expectations.

Stayed here for a weekend, it is labeled as a 5 star hotel but feels more like a 4 star. No complaints except the elevator was not working correctly. We would press level 4 and it would take us to the lobby or level 8. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating. The pools were nice although we were not allowed to use the infinity pool it was an extra cost of $350.00 dollars. We had paid for breakfast but the buffet opened at 7 am and our tours started at 6 am. We asked our concierge if we could use that credit towards drinks or something at the restaurant and he said no.

"Our stay in Cancun, Mexico was absolutely fantastic! The hotel we chose exceeded all expectations and provided us with a truly memorable experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a genuine smile. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the crystal-clear turquoise waters and white sandy beaches right at our doorstep. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The amenities were top-notch, including a stunning pool area, delicious dining options, and a variety of activities to keep us entertained. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel to make our Cancun vacation extraordinary. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in this tropical paradise!"

The toilet stinks and have a strong smell of rotten eggs. The tap water smells and cannot even use it to wash your hands. The smell was all over the room. It doesn't seem like a 5-star hotel, more like a 2-star. The furnitures are old and the room is dim. You have to use a towel card to get towels and will charge you unreasonably if you lose the towels. It is a beach front hotel but the beach is actually public. You can access the beach even you are not staying there. I don't recommend this hotel at all. The most terrible hotel I have lived in.

I attended a destination wedding and stayed here only 2 nights. It was the perfect location to continue the after party since it's right next to the clubs and night life in Cancun. Regarding the services, I had an Altitude Ocean Front room that was great. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, which is key for a nice stay. I liked the access to upgraded services staying in this tower so if you are guessing if it's worth it... It is, so do it!

Very great experience. The beach was nice and clean. The rooms are in good condition (we stayed at altitude tower) but in lower levels could be humility in the rooms. The food and service was very good. The employees there are behaving very good and trying to help you as much as they can. So if you go to the Cancun I recommend this place 👍🏻

This was my first time visiting Krystal resort with some friends. First of all I must say the the staff were all amazing , accommodating and they worked very hard. However our room was outdated ,smelled moldy and the sheets had stains. House keeping only cleaned our room once and they didn’t change the sheets. The food at the buffet was not the best and they did not have much options. However the food at their 3 other restaurants were very good. There isn’t much to do inside the resort as far as entertainment and everything inside closes early. The great thing is that it’s located around the corner from all of the bars, nightclubs and restaurants so it’s easy to find somewhere to have a good time. Our stay wasn’t horrible but I would not return in the future.

Great location, beach and view. But very old facilities and my room smells very funky like an old man didn't take a shower for a month... But you can see beautiful sunrise with clean beach and pools, and close to the Cancun city to hang out. Morning buffet was so-so, you'd better eat outside unless you want to stay only indoor. If you stay more than 3 days, covid test for entering US is free and if less days to stay, $20(350 peso) per person, just book an appointment before visit. Open from 8am-5pm and you'll get result by 5pm. But make sure if they make your name spells right.

The good points about Krystal Cancun are the beautiful (probably the best) beach, and hence the awesome view from the balconies. Breakfast buffet is good too, especially the made to order omelets. Pool area is good. Sadly, the list ends right here. Rooms are average, below standard. Bathrooms are old and need remodeling. Sometimes run out of water. Jacuzzi has cold water downstairs. Elevators do not work properly, have broken buttons.

We had a fantastic 14 day stay at the end of Nov. & beginning of Dec., 2021. We had the Altitude Master suite and was absolutely beautiful. The staff made us feel like family, and were very accommodating for all of our needs. We made sure to tip our servers all the time, even if we only ordered a few drinks from the poolside or beach. The staff all work very hard to make our stay the best so tipping should be a no-brainer! This is our second time back and can't wait to come back again in 2022. See you again, from Di & Danny (D&D)

The hotel has its pros and cons. There are not enough elevators to the big hotel, you have to wait a long time. I didn't like the shower, mostly the water was not hot, but lukewarm. Didn't like that the sink is outside the toilet. The glass railing of the balcony did not seem secure. The food was very tasty and varied. Service very friendly and helpful. The person who offers the tours was very cool and explained a lot.

We had a lovely stay at Krystal Grand Cancun. This place has one of the best locations and the beach is excellent and very toddler friendly . The rooms were spacious and clean. I had to call service once because the shower was not draining well and the issue was addressed quickly, within 30-40 mins. Special thanks to Elisa from the Kids Club and Elena from the concierge service for making our stay one of a kind.

Stayed here on spring break for a week with a big group of friends traveling from the United States. My room did not have all-inclusive, however some of my friends did. Pros: 1. Check-in and check-out were smooth 2. The room had strong AC, nice sized beds, and had a beautiful view of the beach 3. Good mix of other spring breakers staying here, people from different countries, and overall was easy to meet and socialize with new people 4. Staff was friendly and always greeted you with smiles 5. Pool was large and had lots of area to roam around 6. Room was cleaned every day we were there besides the last day 7. Location was perfect, next to many restaurants and all of the clubs were a three to five minute walk 8. Area was safe Cons: 1. The water in the room had a weird smell to it 2. The cards to get into the room constantly stopped working, apparently something to do with the cards being close to cellphones 3. Maintenance and service requests sometimes took forever, at times not even following through Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It's affordable and offered everything we wanted on a trip. I wouldn't look too deep into some of the bad reviews, some people can never be satisfied.

First off I really enjoyed the beach location more than anything else. I just couldn't overcome how bad the food is here. I paid for all inclusive thinking I got a deal. This place needs a good chef to improve the low quality flavorless food here. The French toast was just fried bread(sad). The rooms were ok, but the bathrooms smelled like sewage at time, making it uncomfortable to shower. The wait staff was really nice and very attentive and made sure I had refills of the watered down fruit juice. This resort has the potential to be a awesome place, but I will not be returning here anytime soon.

The location and the view from this hotel made our stay memorable. I recommend the ocean view room when offered at a sale price as it’s worth the upgrade. I heard others spending much more for similar rooms/all inclusive but I can’t say it’s worth more than the affordable price we paid. Our stay has been comfortable and enjoyable. Friendly staff; Linda, Enrique and Josef by the pool provided exceptional service to myself and our new resort family!! I think the rooms are hit or miss as some of our friends had issues with their rooms, however, one group did get a new room and the problem was resolved promptly. Our room was clean and functional, my complaint would be one mattress was garbage and springy, should be replaced. Many of the chairs around the pool and on the beach could also be replaced and there could be more shaded areas near the pool. Food was tasty but they should provide more snacks. Snacks in the room would have been a great addition; some Chips, crackers, anything. I don’t recommend the late night take a bite located at the Starbucks after hours as my friend ate a severely moulded sandwich and this is unacceptable. The Mexican restaurant churros were a huge disappointment being hard as a rock. The bell boys were friendly and helpful. Jonathan the entertainment guy was a blast but the nightly entertainment itself was kinda boring and seemed to be a lot of karaoke. Overall the beach front access and the pool location/view were what made our stay.

My family and I had so much fun, at Hotel Krystal Cancun. My wife and I, traveled with our 1 year old. There was so much to do and to eat, to keep all of us entertained. Not only that, the incredible staff, such as Mario Castillo and Daniel, were the best. Best customer service ever and everybody was so friendly. The cleaning service was great too. If I had to revisit, I definitely would.

Absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the regular part of the resort and we loved it. The staff was all excellent and extremely sweet. They were accommodating and really fun to be around. We even made friends with some of the staff. I would like to give a personal shoutout to our bartender Alejo. He was amazing and took great care of us. He was beyond sweet. The resort also hosted some shows which were so fun. The food was excellent and there was a wide variety of food/restaurants included. The water was clean and purified. It was a perfect resort for a romantic getaway or a relaxing place to go on vacation with your family. The location of it is perfect because it is located by a bunch of clubs and restaurants outside of the resort, but the resort was just so enjoyable and relaxing we never wanted to leave it! We will definitely be coming back soon!

This place is beyond disgusting. We both became sick several hours after having a cocktail and eating a room service meal. 5 days later and we are still suffering. We stayed in room 615 in the older tower. The moment we walked into the room, we were overwhelmed with the smell of raw sewage and mold from the bathroom floor drain. Our shower head had the trim broken. It was hanging down eroded & rusted. The A/C didn’t work, the vanity mirror light didn’t work, the shower didn’t drain, our walls had cracks and drywall patchwork that looked like it was done by a toddler. And if you accidentally leave something behind, don’t expect to ever see it again or any type of follow up from the staff . We left our jackets hanging in the closet and I called to let them know less than 30 minutes after we left for the airport. I gave them all of my contact information and never heard back from them… This place is NOT what they sell you in their advertising.

I wouldn't bothered with a review for this so called 4 stars hotel if it wasn't for the hotel representatives that follow you around the lobby and try to get me to buy their timeshare options. The first room we stayed in was old with outdated utilities. We asked to move due to drunk loud guests who knocked on our door at 2 am. The second room was newer, however the A/C was loud and could not cool the room lower than 77f. At one point our changed bedsheets had makeup markings on it. Not a great hotel.

Check in took forever, paid for an ocean view room and got a second story room behind a tree. The beds were absolutely garbage. I’m glad we didn’t pay for the all inclusive because food was ok and drinks were affordable for paying as you go. The beach and pool on the other hand is really nice but all considering 0% chance I stay here again.

I think this hotel is a great value for the price and location. The rooms are a bit outdated, but I enjoyed my view of the ocean. Plenty of chairs on the beach, and nice big pool as well. Margaritas from the bar were great, and they have a wide selection of premium liquors. Special thanks to Salvador! He didn’t just help with our bags, he provided great hospitality through our stay. He is very knowledgeable of the city, gave great tips, and was even able to provide change for USD when we asked! We never even had to ask a concierge anything because Salvador was always so helpful with all our questions! Would definitely return here and try the all inclusive option. I came with my boyfriend, but think this a great hotel for families with kids too.

It's a great hotel as long as you know what to expect. The location is amazing and the staff is great. Walking distance to all the party scene spots. The hotel itself is in need of renovations. Rooms tend to smell slightly moldy and humid. In short: if you get a good deal and the above are not deal breakers, you'll enjoy it. Wouldn't be my first option for going back to Cancún, but I'd be willing to stay again.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. Very nice hotel with incredible views! It's the service that impressed me the most, though. Everyone here truly tries to make your vacation a memorable one! The food is wonderful for an all-inclusive resort, it's delicious and varied.

Excellent place to stay, kind & friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Practically across the street from Chabad. Room service is excellent and staying here with a toddler wasn't an issue. Right outside the back door is a beautiful large pool (+ hot tub & kids pool) followed by by the beach. Supermarket is a 5 minute walk. Rooms aren't "fancy" but nice and practical. (P.S. there are multiple "towers" in the hotel). Overall highly recommend.

Overall was an avg experience. The staff, reception, member services and concierge were all super nice and friendly. Room furniture is old, bathrooms smelled like sewer and hotel overall isn't 5 star level. Food was avg and the beach was crowded as the public had access. They don't have their own closed off private section of the beach.

I was extremely pleased with this hotel! Great ocean views prices compared to others in the area, location was on point as all clubs and greater attractions are walking distance. You wouldn’t need to rent a car. People here are very amicable! As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile 😊 I’m a foodie and I must say everything tasted great. If eating at hotel banquet request waiter Mario! Def coming back next month and doing all over again.

I stayed at Krystal Grand Cancun on Altitude Tower, this hotel it's right next door from Krystal Cancun, it's a 5 start Hotel with many amenities, I was tricked like a VIP person all the time, the staff its very friendly and food a good quality, price it's great and location unbeatable, walking distance from mayor night clubs and restaurant, I went for the Tiesto experience with the Pollen Group and it was amazing experience, I would definitely come back with my kids to this property, I know lately Cancun is not getting good advertising on the security matter but I never felt unsecured or unsafe there, National Guards everywhere even walking on the beach, the people it's friendly everywhere. I saw some reviews regards smell on the rooms, don't worry about that, that's the humidity on the atmosphere that make that smell, it's normal to get that if you travel to Central or South America close to the beach area.

This is our 4th time staying at the Krystal Cancun, we recently went during spring break and it was really busy, considering it was busy they did a great job, the grounds are well kept with beautiful plants and palm trees. We keep going back to this hotel for many good reasons. This hotel has one of the best beaches in Cancun, it is a popular area with lots of people. The front desk staff are always nice and polite, everyone in the hotel is friendly and helpful. We love the food and the environment at the Velas restaurant, the staff are really wonderful at this place, Karina and the other waiters are great, we had breakfast every day at this restaurant, it is a buffet style with cook to order eggs and omelets , Dinner was really good too, Jose our waiter is very efficient, we love the ocean view and it has plenty of fresh air. We definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully go back soon.

If you’re American, you will not like this hotel. No one speaks English, so they avoid you. Food is horrible! Only nice thing about this place is the pool and beach. Also take your COVID test the two days before you leave!!! It takes 24 hours to get results.

This hotel is one of the best bangs for your buck in Cancun. Super good location, close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Great beach access! Free parking.

  • 3/5 Tony H. 2 years ago on Google
Make sure to book all inclusive before arriving. They charge 95 dollars per day per person when you get to the resort. To be honest, you can eat o. The strip and have a better experience. Also bring your own liquor, juice and water. Yes they charging you for Agua. Smdh

I ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED myself so much! The resort was a wonderful place to stay. Pay the extra money to get a balcony room. But overall it was a great resort to stay at. Easy access to the beach. Affordable Pricing for the drinks and the food. I traveled solo and would definitely bring my family and would recommend to friends to stay.

Great location and great beach! Luani at reception was GREAT. She was very helpful, fast and really nice. The buffet can have more variety. They are very strict with restaurants reservation time. The Mexican restaurant was awesome, the Italian was good and the Mediterranean was average. The hotel rooms can use some renovations.

I don’t think I have ever had a worse five star experience. The first room they put me in was dirty and the thin walls/windows let in a lot of noise from the traffic below. I upgraded to an ocean view room which was cleaner and nicer but was still an outdated space that I would expect from a two or three star hotel. Noise still came in, but at least it was from the beach and not the street. The food in the buffet made me ill each time I ate it, the Grill restaurant outside is much better. The staff are constantly trying to upsell you on spa treatments or water experiences, there’s not enough free lounge seating on the beach so you either have to pay or lay in the sand if you don’t get out early. The only positive about this place is the ocean view. It was beautiful. But there are other places nearby where you can get the same view.

Very safe and next to all the visitor party spots in Cancun. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are nice. I love the pools right next to the beach. Don't drink from the mini bar. They will charge you 330 = $17 for a can of fanta!

Family stayed here for 2 weeks. Great location, loved my family suite except the sink in the bathroom. They need to change those because it kept getting clogged! Other than that, they have great staff and good breakfast. A BiG thank you to el Señor VENUSTIANO who was our breakfast waiter for almost 2 weeks at the hotel. He is excellent at what he does❤️. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend to families

Overall the staff are really nice and attentive and will accommodate to your needs most of the time. The bartenders in the lobby area are top tier and overall the best. The food didn't have such a wide variety, but was good to fill up ( considering that we had to pay 600 extra for four days for two). A big issue that made it hard to enjoy the place was the fact that no restaurants or lobby or anything besides the room had air conditioner. Wouldn't be coming back but it wasn't so bad either.

We had mixed feelings about staying here due to reviews but we took our chances. Hotel was super clean and classy, the views amazing, the location was perfect to all the night scenes as well. The pool was amazing, there’s a Starbucks in the hotel which is very convenient. The daybeds were only $25 per day and the most beautiful views to the ocean. Overall the stay and the staff was very friendly. Only reason it didn’t get a five star was because housekeeping forgot to clean my room one day.

This Hotel is beautiful from the outside and its infrastructure has a lot to offer (restaurants, swim pool, entertainment, ect). However the room in itself is not worth the price: everything is old in it and it smells of mold. We just spent one night there and kept the window open to try to get rid off of it without success. This was so present and strong that impregnated everywhere. Although the staff was very friendly and professional at the reception, and the beautiful beach is two feet away from it, we will never come back here again.

Unless you're looking for more of the quiet part of the hotel zone, this location is perfect; right in the middle of all the main action the hotel zone has to offer! Most of the staff is pretty great here. The rooms when I stayed weren't ultra-modern (August '22), but comfortable. They were doing some work in the hotel when I stayed, so who knows what kind of changes/upgrades are in store. I only stayed one night, which was not enough for what the hotel had to offer. At night, there was a fiesta with Mexican fare dinner, outside, and entertainment. Entertainment here was pretty standard for your typical all-inclusive.

I feel like I underpaid for this beautiful resort. Staff was amazing (on top of everything and super nice), hotel was clean and top notch, food was delicious, beach and infinity pool was stunning! You could tell the property managers do not cheap out because there’s so many workers constantly cleaning, doing small repair work etc. highly recommend 10/10!

Superb location, location, location! We did have breakfast every morning, which was delicious! The views are amazing! The room was spacious for 2, but they do need an update. The bathroom gave away that it is an older hotel, at least in the tower were we stayed. Would stay here again.

This was my first time in Cancun and obviously this hotel. I loved it! We stayed at the Altitude Towers which is the best choice. Beautiful rooms, view etc. You also have access to the Adult Infinity pool. Celerino was our waiter at the adult pool, and he was awesome. Always available, great service by him. I do suggest that there should be more info posted at this pool so that guests are aware that you are required to have a certain bracelet to use this pool, I don't think it is fair that the waiters need to police this pool nor the guests when adults and also kids use it. Also, there should be a grate on top of where the water overflows the infinity pool so that the water birds do not get stuck in there and staff or guests have to rescue them. The Altitude tower is beautiful, rooms are modern, clean. Beach area is awesome! Food was delicious. I will return.

We stay in older tower. Didn't mind because we had ocean view. It was beautiful view. Great service all around. Restaurants dinner was excellent. Best beach along hotel zone and we've been in few hotels. White sandy beach. No seaweed at all. Calm water because of location. Would come back definitely.

Not a bad hotel considering how long it has been around. The beds were old, hard, and small, the AC quit working after 5 days, the door handle for the bathroom was so loose it felt like it was about to fall off, and the pool and hot tub were cold. The food was pretty good with the all inclusive. The location is good for someone who wants to stay close to the clubs and is out all night, you could hear music until around 2-3am. The view from the room we had was nice.
