Love Shack has a quirky, kitschy ambience and delicious vegan food. I totally enjoyed my dining experience here. I highly recommend the dumplings with smacked cucumber salad and the tempeh Caesar salad. The cocktails were very good and unique too. I especially liked the hot cocktails. The alcoholic matcha latte and chai latte were amazing. Good service and accommodating staff as well. Worth visiting again.

I do not say this lightly - this was the best vegan burger I have ever had in my life. I've tried a lot of vegan burgers, and this was the one. I'll be back many many times for this! The inside and outside are also super cute and a really nice vibe, perfect for a fun time with friends or a date. The staff were SO SWEET and genuinely funny too. I cannot recommend enough (regardless of your diet choices). I recommend booking a table (you can do it online) though as they can get booked up.

Epic vegan 🌱 and rustic place with super friendly team 🙌 + Tasty food with some of the best coffee ☕️ + The team are beyond friendly and make you feel right at home + Great menu choices - It was a bit cold when we visited, I imagine due to the rustic build. Definitely worth a visit even if you aren’t in the area.

Very nice new vegan menu. A tad pricey but starters were divine and worth it. Lovely staff and worth a visit for the kooky decor.

Such a unique, quaint place and great vibe. Went with a group of friends and we enjoyed chilling and playing games. I tried the lions mane mushroom turmeric chai latte and it was delicious. The cheesecake was also a hit and I would have both again! - My friend had the symplicity burger and recommends it! Great service that was friendly, attentive and we didn't wait long for our orders.

This is the most wonderful place! Amazing vegan food for breakfast, dinner, and tea (or breakfast, lunch, and dinner!) Delicious beers and cocktails, and all manner of wonderous mushroom drinks!! Plus a delightfully quirky indoor space, and a totally awesome outdoor space! Along with having the most lovely and attentive of staff, and the bestest music all day long, it all adds up to being a glorious vegan paradise. Me and my friend came for brunch and stayed all day, then came back for breakfast in the morning! If it were possible, I think we'd never have left!!😂🍄🌿💪🧘‍♀️💚🍄

Vegan comfort food at its finest. They didn’t have the full menu when we went but the oyster wings and sandwiches we got where amazing. We came on the day before they officially opened for lunch which is why they had a limited menu. The rest of the menu looked great. The people working there are very nice and want everyone to feel welcome to chill there outside of eating too. Great outdoor space.

One of my favourite vegan places in London. Food was incredible, staff were very friendly. It was a very vegan vibe. Also they had the best Mojito I have ever had

Hands down my favourite place in London. The best staff ever, they’re so fun and chatty. The food is absolutely incredible! I am not a vegan but their food makes me want to be. Also love the interior, there’s so much to see!

Visited the Love Shack for a smoothie and to scope out the menu for dinner for another day. The place is really chilled. The staff friendly and helpful. There are plenty of internal and external areas which are quirky and fun spaces. The smoothies were delicious although I could really tell the difference between the Coconuttalina and the Mush-Love. Overall the Love Shack has a gorgeous vibe and a calmness about there place. Would I go back - Yes and I’ll be eating next time. I’d also go just to relax and let the world go by. Would I recommend - I’d insist you do go Well done the Love Shack

Homey yard deck type restaurant with a full vegan menu. The chilaquiles are a must have as well as the espresso martini. Lovely waitresses. Superb wine glasses to compose finger music.

Amazing selection of food and drinks and a nice cosy setting under the arches with lots of quirky decor (such as a plastic yellow pineapple spinning on a turntable). There's a large menu and you can have junk food if you like, or healthier options like marinated tofu. Nice selection of pale ales, and next time I'd love to try the mushroom drinks!

What a great drinks menu. Genuinely haven’t seen hot cocktails before and they were delicious. We went for a quick drink and weren’t in any hurry. Smiley service but be prepared to wait for the smoothies.

One of the best places I’ve had a pleasure to visit in London. Got here accidentally, but feel extremely satisfied with everything: friendly service, reasonable prices, tasty food. The place itself is simply magical! I like this “hippie” style and the crowd fits into it perfectly.

Lovely, eclectic place to hang out in. We had our Eco Medics circle here - there’s a secret room behind their bookcase which is cool. Food was wonderful and they have an interesting selection of drinks! Highly recommend. Tofu Karaage is a must try.

Great atmosphere! Love the decoration, lights, plants and music. Service was quick and staff very polite. Nice selection of wines and smoothies. I didn’t like the hot whiskey cocktail but tried before other cocktails and were nice. Food was tasty but used to be better. The tofu barely had any sauce and used to be one of my favourite dishes. The no sin duck dish was great!

This is a friend and I's favorite place. The staff is always so friendly and warm, and it just feels super cozy. Not a big fan of the menu - I'm a bit of a picky eater - but I'd recommend the (vegan) hoisin duck, we've had it every time, and the burger is delicious. The coffees are really the best reason to check it out, and you can rly just vibe with board games or a guitar with good music, cozy lighting, comfortable setting. Live laugh love shack.

Just back after a splendid late dinner at love shack. Warm and laid back atmosphere . Very Tasty and creative dishes, I especially recommend the 'no sin duck'. Very good prices. Kudos to the chef ! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Special mention for the pickle backs ! Can't wait to come again

Tried Love Shack's new menu tonight. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Amazing flavours, textures, presentation, and service!! Can't recommend it enough. Love Shack has always been a lovely place to eat but with this new menu they have really stepped up their game! 💓💓💓

Food was absolutely lovely, vibes in the place are immaculate. There happened to be an event on when we went, so staff seemed a little run off their feet and disorganized, but that's understandable. Staff were really nice to us though, and I cannot overstate how good the food was! We also treated ourselves to some cocktails, which arrived quickly and were well prepared. I always love a vegan place because I can order without worrying at all. It felt more like a cozy hangout than a typical restaurant, which is what I think they were going for. I may be back to sample the mushroom drinks!

I held my 30th in the private room at Love Shack for around 70 people. The team were very helpful and accommodating and the space itself was perfect for a party, with a great sound system and lighting and a really good bar. We ordered some food to have as canapes and it was delicious, particularly the tacos. I would definitely recommend the space for a party and would love to come back to the restaurant.

Really great vegan food with a wide range of gluten free options. Big spot for pickle and pickle juice lovers. There's many a cocktail and shot with that lovely briny flavour. Everyone was so friendly and smiley.

Staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. The general atmosphere was super lovely. We ordered drinks and food, which both took a bit to arrive (which reassured me of the quality, and the fact that they were being made in house). I had the mushroom risotto which was simply delicious. A place so cool and welcoming that you won't want to go home. Definitely give it a try if you ever find yourself near Cambridge Heath!

Wow where to start, the staff are fantastic and SO helpful. At decor is quirky with lots of places to eat inside and out. They even have a private events room which would perfect for a birthday gathering. I have to give hubby a high five for finding this gem, hubby did GOOD. The food menu was excellent with something for everyone even if your not vegan. The food has flavor and tastes fantastic. We had a couple of the signature cocktails and they were nice and strong. We will be coming back again, thank you.

Thank you Love Shack for the amazing, warm welcome and best food I've had in a while..!!! Everything we had was DELISH: Teriyaki tofu, Asian salad, the burger (OMG) and fries (the mayo .....!!!!!!) and last but certainly not least, the Elvis smoothie, to die for. The best vegan restaurant I visited in London. What an amazing place ! Like its name - full of love, for food and for people. The main dish was great , and the chocolate fudge was yummy , and all the other options in the menu looked so good . I wish I came earlier and tried more of them and and also one of the breakfasts (available on weekends) . The restaurant is a true paradise, so beautifully designed, colorful, lively, with such a good atmosphere and cool music , and the staff was so friendly and kind, all of them, they were so nice and answered all my questions with a smile , and the guy was super charming and helped me find a music venue for the evening . I felt most welcome . Thank you all and hope to come back soon 😀 Shiran from Israel ❤🤟🏾

If I could rate them 10/10 I would. The sweetest and most laid back staff. So welcoming and so kind. The food is fantastic, full of flavour and big portions. Cocktails are delicious with really interesting and fun menu. Atmosphere is extremely relaxed. As our lovely server described “a little piece of paradise in the middle of London”

super friendly, delicious, healthy and innovative drinks. The Restaurant has a great positive energy. ...You will be surprised when you walk through the door. … In addition, a nice owner who is very interested in his guests. London can be proud to have such a great venue.

Whether you're a committed vegan or a curious omnivore, you'll love Love Shack. It's by far my favourite vegan restaurant in London. Their food is downright delicious. Plus, they give you loads of it! The resident dog, Dali is lovely as are the people who work there.

This place is INCREDIBLE. The staff are wonderful, the food is all delicious, and the whole place just exudes good vibes. If you fancy lunch out, evening drinks or a night of comedy - go here! Can't wait to return after lockdown and in the meantime will be showing my support by ordering Love Shack takeaways. P.s. - if I haven't yet persuaded you, there is also a very cute in-house dog :)

As an omnivore quite happy to partake in a little bit if vegan. The Love Shack proves that being a vegan doesn't have to be all 'sackcloth and ashes'. 3 meals with vegan smoothies, all spot on with a lot of flavour. Chips hot and crisp, which these days can be a bit of a rarity. All food appeared to be prepared fresh, good service from friendly staff. Hopefully all these 5 star reviews won't mean it becomes too full to get a seat?

  • 5/5 Sally B. 1 year ago on Google
I don't know why it's taken me so long to visit, so if your deciding, this is your sign to go in! Don't discard Love shack as just another over priced vegan burger spot, the WHOLE MENU here is plant based and the prices are reasonable so theres tons of selection (including burgers). There's an outside area and a very quirky kitsch interior which is dimly light and will make you wish for some rain so you have an excuse to get comfy of the sofa style seating. Casual dining at its finest. Deffinatly be returning!

Quirky gem in Bethnal green that has ambience, love and a good place to make great memories! Everything is vegan and loads of different dishes to try. Make sure you ask for the chef's special ,when we went it was beetroot nachos !! We also go the vegan meze sharer which was amazing! Definitely try the unique vegan beetroot chilli sauce. I love this place, I'm going back. Make sure you book as they are well loved by all.

LoveShack teems with positive vibes and overall goodness. The warmth and hospitality of the team, wholesome juices and bright veggie meals is everything you’d need to radiate in goodness! I had the vegan shepherd’s pie and it was really good - fresh crunchy veggies, a nice blend of textures and an overall carnival of flavours on the palette. Leaves you with a spring in your step. Well done.

Such a nice vibe from the staff and the place. I had a lovely time at the Love Shack! The food is really tasty, fresh and affordable — my first time trying an acai bowl, which wasn’t my favorite, but I hope to go back to try more of their food! I did love the matcha 🍵👍🏻 Update: okay, the smoothie bowls are amazing! And, again, such lovely people there.

This charming east London place is loaded with throwbacks, from lava lamps to Gizmo, vintage finds, djembes, and other cool bric-a-brac. Cosy to have cocktails with friends, we went here with our toddler and it was also child friendly simply by the kind and lovely staff! The burger was everything it should be: stringy melty cheeze with the juicy beyond meat burger, tomato and pickle. On a Brioche style bun... win! Not super fan of the dough balls, I think they were a bit too small to be proper doughy, and not have melty stringy cheeze inside. Anything tastes like heaven though with the garlic mayo dip, honestly, can I have a tub and just bath in it? Thanks.

I really wanted to love this place, and it does have some good points but the service just let it down. The food was really good, nice atmosphere outside and its so dog friendly which is great. When I visited (with 4 other people) it wasn't very busy, however we had to go and ask the waitress if we could order drinks (we waited a long time and no one came over), the drinks took ages and all came out one at a time at 5 minute intervals. The food took a long time to come out, with one of my friends slowly finishing her meal before anyone else got their food. Maybe they were having an off day! The place itself is really cool so it was a real shame.

  • 2/5 Zandalee P. 2 years ago on Google
I love the Love Shack concept but this place has very hit and miss service. I've been twice, the first time was wonderful (hence the 2 stars) but the second time left a lot to be desired. I ordered a gluten free burger and when the burger came to the table I double-checked if it was on the gluten free bun and the server said she had made a mistake so would come back with the gluten free bun. The new burger then came to me maybe ten minutes later. About fifteen minutes after that, the same server returned to say that she had made a mistake and given me the wrong burger again. I had, at this point, eaten halfway through this burger full of gluten - even after checking twice - so I stopped eating then and there. I know people make mistakes and the server was very apologetic, offered me a free drink etc (which I declined) but what was particularly concerning was that this server had been telling us from the time we arrived how hungover she was from a party the night before and reiterated this during her apology. I understand that the business wants to project an easygoing vibe but I think this crosses a line and if it were my own business I wouldn't appreciate a server showing up to work in this condition, let alone communicating this with customers, only to further make quite serious errors. At the end of the meal a different server came to take our payment and clearly hadn't been made aware of what had happened as, when I paid in full for my (incorrect) meal she asked if I'd like to leave a tip at which point I politely declined and stated why, this server then asked me to tell her who had gotten the order wrong so she could show them how to do it properly next time. Overall this was quite clunky and I'd love to see this business really level up in terms of service. I know it's hard times for so many businesses right now, especially in the service industry so I really hope this review is taken in the good spirit it is intended. Food intolerances and dietary requirements are a really serious matter so I do welcome any further contact if it could be of help.

Stumbled in here solo this evening. Had been interested in coming here awhile back but it never happened, until tonight. What a really pleasant surprise. Genuine down to earth service from start to finish. In terms of space, it was vibes all round. The food was superb and surpassed my expectation, as most vegan restaurants tend to be ‘over hyped’, this was not. I felt really welcome not only by Jamie the friendly person who served me, but also by the cutest lil resident pupper. Definitely will be returning with my gang. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We came to Love Shack for my birthday a couple of nights ago, staff seemed friendly when we arrived but there was a talk happening which meant that the people attending it were served their drinks first while we waited half an hour to be offered a drink and order our food. When we went to the bar to ask about a drink we were told ‘sorry, we’re busy’. Perhaps if there is a talk happening people choosing to dine shouldn’t be able to book at the same time as the beginning of the talk. Staff knew we had limited time which I think explains why our starters and main all came together which was odd. One of the starters was padron peppers which were soggy and well over cooked with no bite to them at all. We had allowed an hour and a quarter to eat before an event but in the end we were late and had to rush our food. Very disappointed as it looked like quite a cool place to eat and it was a special occasion. Further to your reply to my review, we were a party of 2 as booked, my husband arriving a few minutes after I did and we were never offered any discount on returning. I think you must have us confused with another disgruntled customer.

The most amazing place in London to come for incredible food, delicious, drinks, free hugs, yoga, music, comedy and general deep happiness. You are the best 💖

Fantastic experience here. A real intimate fun bar. Our barman Ben was superb and a great laugh, made us impromptu drinks which is something we’ve never experienced, and both were super nice. Excellent small bar and a perfect place to go for couples.
