Great surprise when we were just looking for a room! First finding Maggie Valley, then finding this pet friendly gem hidden in the heart of it. The exterior is modest, and those used to modern hotels might find it a little off-putting, but the manager, Tim, is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are wonderfully spacious and clean. An example of how they're willing to go was a limited mobility couple checked in around the same time we did, and he installed a ramp to make it easier to get into their room. The rooms are better equipped than some.other rooms we paid more for on this trip, with a properly sized fridge, a microwave, and a civilized sized coffee maker. Another unexpected amenity is the guest laundry.

A wonderful place. Stayed here with my wife for 4 days and it was so pleasant. Mr Tim is the most accommodating and hospitable person ever. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. We never once had to ask for room service because they were on top of it every single day while we were out. Highly recommend staying here.

We have been staying at Blue Mountain for over 10 years for our annual motorcycle trips (3 a year) . Love the front porch and fire pit. Tim always welcomes us with a smile and hospitality. Great location and value. These type of hotels are disappearing because of big hotel chains. Shame because this is America

Had a great stay at the Blue Mountain Inn while on a long motorcycle tour. This vintage motel is distinguished by large comfy rooms, a covered parking area for motorcycles, nice outdoor amenities like picnic tables, a fire pit and charcoal grill. They have laundry too but didn’t use it. At night we enjoyed a great meal, cold beers and live entertainment at the Salty Dog restaurant and bar a half-block away, then a big breakfast at Country Vittles next door. Great visit to Maggie Valley!
