It’s a small park with some trails and a creek. It’s never busy, good for a short walk. Take bug spray.

Very nice and quiet place. I enjoy the creeks and trees, paths, etc.... Some people walk with their dog off the leash so I tend to carry a stick as I dont like things running up on me. I don't come to play with/pet dogs but to have me time, get fresh air and some cardio. Besides there being a leash law, some people feel they are too privileged to obey. I have no problem reminding them🤷🏾‍♀️ Ponce is a few feet away and very busy, but you barley hear or notice the traffic. Follow my music @TracyHealingMoon

A lovely little park that runs along Ponce De Leon Ave. It's small, but has a really cute trail if you'd like to go on a nature walk and not leave the city or have a picnic with a few friends. I didn't notice any tables so I recommend bringing a blanket or outdoor rug. Overall a really pleasant place to spend some time.

Never knew this place existed! Rode past it all my life. From the street, all you see is the green space and that looks nice but passable, especially knowing there are bigger green spaces right down the street. Knowing there's more going on here, I'll definitely be back to explore more! Especially after the pollen eases up

Nice linear Park with some earthen trails. Connect to some other parks/trails for a nice run.

It's a great area in the middle of the neighborhood. A little small but for my three year old it was perfect!! So peaceful not busy and really made you feel like you weren't anywhere near the city. We didn't find any specific area to park besides in the neighborhood across the street from houses. But it worked

A lovely forest haven where can wander in the shade of the trees and you don't even realize you're next to one of the busiest streets in the area

Japanese style park, very well articulated. The landscape design is made by Olmsted, the same author of Central Park in Nyc. A little hidden treasure.

not exactly a destination park, unless you're bored or frustrated with traffic on Ponce de Leon. nearly zero amenities, but a pretty grove of trees and a great place for an impromptu sit-down haircut 😉 - i.e. if you BYO💈 barber

We pulled it right up on the gps pretty easy to find. The parking is not clear we ended up just parking near some other cars we saw lined up near some houses on a side street and we were ok for about our 20 minute walk. The walk was gorgeous lots of beautiful trees my dogs had a blast and it was actually a pretty good work out. There’s some steps and uneven terrain so it may be hard for a person with a stroller or young children to navigate but my dogs loved it!!! The trail featured lots of challenging level changing my legs were burning after only about a half a mile. We will definitely be going back. If you’re looking for a fun beautiful walk with your bestfriend this is a great place to go.

Great little oasis in an area full of houses. Dirt trails with bridges over streams. Short, but a nice little shaded adventure if you live nearby.

  • 4/5 Barbara R. 5 years ago on Google
Beautiful little gem of a park; bridge rails need some repair, but areas not safe clearly marked. Nice trails and maps.

Cute little park! My boyfriend and I needed to kill some time and found this place. Nice graveled walking trails and the creek side trail is a little more gritty. All the trails are shaded. No defined entrance and parking is on the street.

Beautiful relaxing park nestled in the city. I enjoyed hiking with my kiddo and exploring the trails and bridges.

Ots pretty but the lack of an actual parking lot i won't be visiting regularly. There are many more beautiful parks in Georgia that don't have you park on the side of the road. Like how do you decide to create a park and don't even consider parking for people?

Had my first date and flat tire here. Went stargazing. Nice park, especially for picknicking.

Super yum custard, tasted waffle cones and friendly staff.

Relatively small park but one of our favorite places to walk through. The trails are in good shape with lots of signage, history, and some nice footbridges. There are some large tulip poplars throughout, and I love to see the pale orange leaves of the Beech trees on a cool winter's day. I would estimate you can make a loop of the park and cover close to a mile. There are nice roads to walk on near the park as well, on either side of Ponce de Leon

One of my favorite places to stroll. Great for summer walks due to all the shade.

Beautiful little get away. Nice wooded trails and bridges

Beautiful park with amazing hiking trails. I brought my little ones with me (6y/o and 2y/o). They loved it so much! Especially the bridges and the rock steps that crossed the streams.

Beautiful walking trails in the middle of the city. The lower creek trail has some washouts, so be careful.

  • 4/5 Jared E. 11 months ago on Google
A lot of road noise but otherwise great for what we were looking for, which was a little picnic and some board games

  • 4/5 Claire W. 3 years ago on Google
Lovely little wooded gem. Well maintained paths and especially loved all the stone steps and bridges! Well done again, Frederick Law Olmsted Sr.!

  • 3/5 Selena H. 3 years ago on Google
Nice trail but is pretty much a yellow jacket sanctuary (kept seeing nests every few steps). Has potential to be really nice if it gets cleaned up

Hidden city gem! Wonderful walk in the woods with well maintained paths. Great small green spaces to relax and picnic in. Highly recommend taking a moment to enjoy this historic tribute to Atlanta!

Very nice park. But because of the stones now being used for the main paths, I can no longer go, because the stones hurt my dog's feet.

An oasis in the city. Usually well-maintained, I took family after a torrential rain and it was still beautiful. Love this place.

One of the true hidden treasures of Atlanta. Designed by Olmsted, this is the biggest of his linear parks for the Druid Hills neighborhood, and it is a true nature lovers getaway. Lovely gravel paths, fun stone creek crossings, picturesque bridges, all surrounded by tall Georgia trees, with a meadow on one end. This is a truly tranquil place, my advice is to go early Sunday morning when there's not much sound coming from the traffic on nearby Ponce de Leon Avenue.
