Not sure I can go eat regular old Mexican food after eating here! This place is fabulous! Try the appetizer called sweet chili pepper broccoli, dipped in an egg batter (like pablanos) then grilled in the sauce, marvelous! Picture is of my huge mango & habernero grilled chicken breast topped with grilled jalapenos, fresh pico, and sliced avocado with a side of grilled veg! Doesn't get any better than this my friends! Great service, and excellent salsa. Go, go now!

A bar on one side, a relaxed dining experience on the other, El Dorado has it all! I've been here several times and the food and service never disappoints. Today I enjoyed the Texas quesadilla. Their steak is super tender and flavorful! The portions are generous and we were served quickly and kindly. The eating area and atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. You can tell the other patrons have a good time here. The bathrooms were clean as well! I recommend this place!

Best Taco's I've eatin in a long time..Definitely coming back for the Boom Boom Taco's and try something else on the menu

HIGHLY recommend! And tell your friends cuz this little hole in the wall is an absolute GEM! Food is incredible. The rest of the reviews say it all: Go straight for the pupusas. They're deliciously melty and crispy! Dad also had the enchiladas verde and he's come back for that same dish the last four times since he found this awesome spot. Service is lovely. The server offered excellent customer service and checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy. Atmosphere is pleasant. The music is just the right volume (thank you!) and the restaurant itself was aesthetically appealing.

Do not visit this place. . . . Would have given zero stars if able. The Yelp page says "to check in and get a free cheese dip". When I asked about it, the lady said it was from last November. We'll take it off the Yelp page and it has no expiration date. She said she would ask her boss. She came back and went to her station at the door. I said what did you find out? She said they are coming. Ok. So then the waitress comes out and I ask her about it. No that's an old thing. Well I want to see the manager. The manager comes out and immediately says he wants no attitude and the offer is old. Take it off the Yelp app. He gets all bent out of shape. I leave. Will not be back!!!!!!

Great Salvadoran and Mexican dishes. Try the Salvadoran stew - great. Service is attentive and friendly - not a chain, family owned and well worth a visit! Update: the Carne Guisado (beef stew) is still great as is the Carne A La Plancha (marinated skirt steak). The chips and salsa are fresh and house made. Everything is good!

Tried this restaurant tucked away off US 41 in Cartersville .. colorful paintings decorate the walls with a decent amount of seating .. our server, Joe, was very friendly and helpful with our questions about some of the entrees .. the complimentary salsa was good and the tortilla chips were excellent as they were thin and light .. my wife ordered the Enchiladas Supremas w/o meat, my daughter had the El Dorado Burrito Supreme (BTW, it was the biggest Burrito that we've ever seen!), and I went with the Chimichanga with Grilled Chicken .. all of the entrees tasted very good and the price is very fair marking an excellent dining experience resulting in this 5-star review .. if you're in the mood for some Mexican food, you and your family will be happy that you decided to come here for a meal

Stopped here on the way home from a hike. The salsa was DELICIOUS!! Fresh cilantro taste! My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the chicken & shrimp. We both enjoyed the meal - good flavors! Very hole in the wall type place. Loved how the menu had lots of photos of the entrees!

An unassuming exterior & interior that would otherwise leave you assuming this was another old spot…. Until you meet Jorge. Then you realize why this place is a local gem. Their service, the unique menu options, and the execution on their meals leave you wanting to come back for another meal. Don’t hesitate to ask for something personalized, because they’ll be happy to go out of their way for you. & Be sure to ask for their tomatillo salsa if you like things with a 🌶️ kick. Excellent spot for local Mexican&Salvadorian food.

I had been wanting to try this place, went on a Friday night, place was packed, got the last open table and server was very prompt and helpful with ordering. Food came literally 7 minutes later. As busy as it was it was lightning quick. Food was amazing and so hot had to let it cool down before I could eat it. Want a great place for fast good food, good service, and good prices this is it

Service was quick and efficient, also the food was pretty good, starting with the chips and salsa they give you the moment you sit down. I ordered the Sopes, which had two very big ones, with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and sour cream, although it had too much salt for my taste. I would definitely come back to taste some other dish.

Me and the fam and my friend went here tonight!! Hands down the best Spanish food I’ve ever had!! I had the El Dorado special and idk how they make their rice!! But baby!!! It was sooo good!! The boneless wing my girls got were truly homemade!!! So flavorful and that flight!! You better be prepared is all I have to say!! Service was wonderful very nice and beautiful servers!! All around a 10 star hands down for me!! Thank you ladies and gentlemen!!

Skip every other Mexican food restaurant in Cartersville and come here. Our server was great and the food is so delicious. The atmosphere is nice. They are hands down the best Mexican cuisine in town, and their Salvadoran offerings are mouthwatering. I personally recommend the Pollo Guisado!!

This is a truly family run restaurant and the food was very good. Service was so fast and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Their chicken and chorizo tacos were really good! I always have to ask to add chorizo to my chicken tacos but they had this as a standard. We'd definitely come back!

I got the grilled habanero chicken with vegetables, this meal was excellent and pleasantly surprised me at how it tasty and flavorful it was. Large portion & good quality. Our server was awesome! That's the other half of the experience. Chips and salsa were good as well, not great but good!

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! Friendly and attentive service. Very knowledgeable about food allergies. If you’re celiac, ask the server for some freshly made stove-top chips. The authentic tacos are served on fresh, homemade corn tortillas, and the steak is phenomenally marinaded. Everything was great, down to the rice. Some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing place! The fried broccoli appetizer is so delicious, I had to get one to go home with. The Hawaiiana quesadilla was very good. For drinks I had the flight of margaritas and they were good also. Can't wait to go back!

My husband went in to pick up a Togo order and was accidentally given the wrong order. The staff kindly called to let us know and not only did they remake and give us the correct order, but they let us keep the wrong order and gave us a gift certificate. That is going above and beyond customer service. That was our first experience with this restaurant and needless to say they have gained new customers. The food was wonderful and fresh. It was full of flavor and the portion sizes were so generous. We will definitely be making this restaurant one of our regular places after such a wonderful experience.

The owner took the time to chat while I waited for my order. Very nice gentleman. The food here has always been outstanding and tonight was no different. We tried some new items and everything was delicious! We are so glad El Dorado made it through the shutdowns. The pupusas are a number one menu choice every time.

Food was delicious. I recommend the lomo saltado or chicken tinga.

This is without a doubt one of the best "Mexican" restaurants I have ever been to. Every single dish I have had was excellent and spiced wonderfully. Any of the servers we have had were very diligent and attentive. It is definitely a weekly visit for us. I do not lightly leave such high reviews, and this place deserves it.

Bartender's Corey, George and Ryan serve excellent drink and offer fantastic customer service. The food is amazing and very authentic I will definitely be recommending this spot to anyone looking for real Salvadorian food

These authentic Mexican Fajitas were the suggested... and are the prize of their menu. These are stellar! Service, however, is compromised. The Latin favor is here... the Latin service is not. 😎🎸
