Lake Claire Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Great park with play equipment for toddlers in one section and 5 and up in the other. Slides, swings, climbs, and monkey bars. There are swings for larger individuals as well (maybe someone with a disability who likes to swing.) The ground of the park area is made of rubber. It's a very popular park... People often mention park, kids, play, playground, area, great, field,

This is a fantastic little hidden park. They recently demolished and rebuilt the playground to include multiple tube slides, canopies to protect you and your kids from the sun, and picnic tables. Really great place to spend a couple of hours (though no bathrooms).

Great park with play equipment for toddlers in one section and 5 and up in the other. Slides, swings, climbs, and monkey bars. There are swings for larger individuals as well (maybe someone with a disability who likes to swing.) The ground of the park area is made of rubber. It's a very popular park for birthday parties. There are picnic tables with shade for parents. There is also a large field next to the play park for frisbee or whatever. I've seen dogs running free there but I'm not sure it's legal to have dogs off leash there. You'll also find tennis courts and a little wooded area/trail that pops out on McClendon. Parking is on the street and park stroller and wheelchair accessible with a ramp.

Lovely park, fairly new equipment (as of 2023), and a nice shaded area under which to sit.

Amazing play structure, great open area to run or for dogs plus tennis/pickleball court. Parking on the street can be challenging at times to find a spot & there are no restrooms available.

No basketball court and the trail doesn't really go anywhere but otherwise, great fun for kids. Cool playground

Lovely playground with well maintained green space surrounding. Park has 2 covered slides with a great deal of toddler options. Very fun and safe park for my 2.5-3yr old.

This is a great little family park. There's tables and seating for adults to gather adjacent to a play-structure & grass field for kids to play. It is fun for "play-dates" or running off excess energy.

Great, newer park. Has shaded seating area, minimal shade over swings and play structure. Has separate big kids and small kids play structures. Had large field for sports activities. It can get overrun with bigger, rowdier kids when school is out

They could use a public toilet. I saw kids using the edge of the park as a toilet.

Great park for the kids, a beat up tennis court, large field that isn't used much, good swings, and large play structure. Picnic tables and shade for parents too.

Scenic little neighborhood park. The playground is great for kids with the tallest slides in the City of Atlanta. Great open field area as well.

Very nice playground and park located in a residential neighborhood. Large playground, trails, and field. No restrooms, as far as we could tell.

The layout of this park is parent friendly. There is a shaded area with picnic tables from which parents can visualize the entire play area. The climbing installations are age appropriate and challenging. The rubber surface can become very hot, so no bare feet on sunny, summer days. The surface is clean, even after rainy days. The families who attend are friendly and diverse.
