The Green Goddess Pizza was incredible. It was full- wait; IT WAS PACKED with flavor and texture.. I wasn't ready for just how delicious this pizza was. The ambiance inside the restaurant was All Vibes! Great music, beautiful, vibrant people, drinks - galore, and, of course, food! If you haven't, go check it out. Order that drink. People watch or meet a friend or two. The vibe is definitely there.

Don’t settle for medi-okra! This place is Vegangster! Thrilled to find such flavorful food with such amazing service! Definitely the best food I’ve had in a long while! The ginger mocktail was excellent. Cornbread with the sauce from the Brussel sprouts was addictive. Taco trio changed my mind about vegan shrimp! Such magic. Fried green tomatoes had a cheesy filling that was surprising and delicious. Great menu & excellent staff. Food is delicious vegan or not!

Ponce City Marketplace Bar Vegan Rating 6-10 🤩🤩🤩 Based on poor service. Personally I was highly disappointed. The scenery was beautiful, chill and laid back. On a Taco Tuesday at 12:10 am the grille was completely down. We could only order a few fried menu selection, and the tacos were not available. The server wasn’t extremely friendly, she got straight to the point. After waiting forever. I tried the Bourbon Chicken wings and tots. My food finally arrived at 1:00pm. It looked so delicious until I took a bite. I tried the Bourbon Chicken Wings. My wings were so“ Cold”. The resturant was fairly empty, so I didn’t understand why, originally I asked for truffle fries. The waitress then stated my order would arrive with tots. Well I received steak fries instead. The fries were crispy and the chicken was unique. It tasted like a cold chicken nugget dumped in a Upgraded sweet and sour sauce. I loved the crunch on the outside, but couldn’t get passed the folded inside that was was so cold. If my food was hot. I would have enjoyed this dish if I was vegan. Unfortunately I got tired of waiting for my server to return. It seemed like I kept waiting forever so I spoke with someone at the bar and just left. Ponce Marketplace has so many restaurants on the premises. I refused to waste my time experimenting on a resturant that just wasn’t ready.

Food and drinks delightful, fast and friendly service. It was bouncing but we visited on a Saturday night. Music was loud but good- perhaps not the right spot if you want a quiet night, but better if you want to eat good and dance bad!

Everything was top! It is such a Fiverr, so much space to spread out. The food was fire. Service was fantastic! We really enjoyed the cookie ice cream dessert, and the shrimp tacos and the cornbread and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were the best thing I’ve ever had in my life. It is pricey for sure. The drinks are great too❤️

Brandon made sure I had the best birthday ever. We came with a party of 11 on a weekday and was seated immediately. We had a mix crowd of vegans and non vegans. My drink was amazing I believe it was the Marta express. The onion rings, Brussels sprouts, and the street corn was our favorite appetizers. I got the shrimp tacos, get it with a side of jalapeño ranch. Another favorite was the chicken sandwich. It was a great time, great vibe and music. Everyone enjoyed their food. We will definitely be back. We loved our waiter. He was so patient and understanding. He made great suggestions.

Service was absolutely fantastic. Our server Angel was professional, friendly and attentive. All her recommendations were absolutely delicious as was all the food. If you are in Atlanta and are looking for good food and great service I highly recommend checking out Bar Vegan!!!!!

Great food and atmosphere!! Visited Bar Vegan during an overnight visit in the city. Set In a brilliant location Bar Vegan is surrounded with other bars and restaurants and provides a great location for a chilled night out. Food and service were really good with an excellent selection of food and drinks. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only reason I couldn't give the place 5 stars was due to the price, over $250 dollars for street food and drinks which is on the high side price wise based upon the other 5 states visited during our trip at other vegan restaurants. Saying this I would happily pay to eat here again.

Recently celebrated my birthday at Bar Vegan with my family, and it was a blast! Marcus was our server and he was fabulous! The food was outstanding - the eggrolls, Philly, and Brussels were huge hits at our table. The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and the staff made sure we had a fantastic time. Bar Vegan is a top-notch choice for any special occasion or just a night out. We'll definitely be back! 🎂🌟🍽️

This was by far the worst vegan food I have ever had. The street corn was cold and no flavor. The shrimp tacos taste like what the food probably tastes like on the movie the Lorax. We were completely unsatisfied with the food. I took a few bites and put it back on the plate. I advised the server that I didn’t like it and she said because I ate it, she couldn’t take it off our tab. Still hungry… I ordered fries which took about 25 minutes to come out. The only plus was the drinks were strong and the vibe was cool but the food is not good at all. Yuck 🤢

This was my first time here in Ponce City Market as well as Bar Vegan. The food was good, different but good. Service was fast, waitress was bubbly and attentive and the drinks were great. Everything was priced appropriately. I had the chicken sandwich and tots, and a lemon drop martini, delicious! The music was a bit loud. Overall, great experience

Bar Vegan was a whole vibe!!! I absolutely love this place!!! The food was delicious and the drink was perfect! Amber was our server and she was the sweetest! She had the best recommendations! There was a DJ there playing all the classics! If I lived in Atlanta I’d be here every week maybe multiple times a week! I didn’t get the name of the girl at the door but she was absolutely beautiful (bomb personality and pretty) and we literally were sat down immediately! I don’t even know how because the place was packed! Me and my girls shut this place down! The only bad thing I have to say about this place is they close too early! 12am is too early!!! 10/10 Free parking and do yourself a favor and order the Texas Margarita and the Brussels. I’m pretty sure these were the best Brussel sprouts I have ever had in my life! I’m a fan!

First time customer review, went on a Monday around 4p. Parking is limited because there are other stores in the same plaza. The restaurant is on the second floor, we seated ourselves, there was about a 5-7min wait. Server wasn't a good listener she would try and answer the question before we finished the question. Did not advise us what was not being served on the menu before choosing, everything we picked was not being served that day not sure why. The server as we were ordering would rush the order. Once we received the food, being real 10yr+ vegans the impossible "meat" was not seasoned to taste like taco "meat" it taste as though the meat was cooked and put on the taco with toppings. The fries were good the wings were okay not a fan of soy the wings can be made out of alot of other things. The atmosphere was great and looks like they put more thought into it than the food.

The ambiance is perfect to relax after a long day of work. The food was so tasty. I had thee fried green tomatoes and onion ring appetizers. The drinks were awesome! Dat Fire was my favorite. The service was swift and our server, Marcus, was extremely helpful.

The best part of this place is the atmosphere. It’s a vibe however the food over cooked, a bit salty and just wasn’t a healthy choice. I took one bite and didn’t touch anything else. We had 2 entrees 2 starters and the drinks was horrible. We want to support black businesses however it has to be quality for me. We spent $100+ and not worth it. I would not recommend.

I visited Bar Vegan this weekend! It has a really nice vibe. The customer service is great! The food was good, but the portions are rather small for the price in my opinion. All in all I'd visit again!

We went on a Friday so we got bogo margarita drinks. The food was very well seasoned. I got the beef tacos. The waitress said that’s the best thing on the menu. I did not feel like I was eating fake meat. The drinks were tasty. Nice atmosphere. They had R&B and Hip Hop playing. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Food came out very quickly.

Updated Review, September 2023: “FINAL SALE” So disappointed AGAIN! I tried giving them another chance after throwing up from their food the first time. But they have a FINAL SALE POLICY on FOOD AND DRINKS like a clothing store!! A “final sale policy” on food and drinks is unheard of to me and quite frankly very ghetto and does not belong in the service industry. DO NOT GO HERE!! The drinks are poorly made and we could not send them back to be remade so we were charged for 3 drinks when we only had 2!!! We did not stay to try the food again because of this. DO NOT GO HERE!! February 2023: I really wanted to enjoy this place but was really disappointed after leaving. I got sick and threw up after my date. I felt so embarrassed because my date is not vegan and I really hyped this spot up. I could not enjoy the rest of the night and went home early. We ordered the vegan wings, Philly cheesesteak, peach cobbler and drinks. The wings were fried so hard it was difficult to bite into it. The drinks were not made well at all. The peach cobbler was off. I’m not sure which of these dishes made me throw up but I never throw up. Very disappointed and embarrassed. Not worth $100+ for 2 entrees, dessert and 2 drinks. 2 stars because I liked the private section and ambiance.

We decided to come here after a concert at City Winery. I have never had vegan food so this was my first time. When we arrived it was packed so we sat outside of the actual bar and order the food to go. We had the Philly CHeesesteak egg rolls and boneless wings. Everything was pretty tasty, and I honestly forgot it was vegan. I would give it a 6/10 -- the sauce that came with the egg rolls was SPOT on! I will be back.

I came in during lunch time and Ray the bartender was handling business. He was working hard and even suggested the bbq sliders, which I loved. Word on the street is he created the cocktails on the menu. Listen for all my rum drinkers that Fall for you aka Dat fire was AMAZING!!! I definitely enjoyed my trip to Bar vegan and continue to recommend it.

My first time going to this place was with a friend on January 4 of 2023. The food was amazing. Featured below is what I got. I went again recently and was blown away that the tacos were just as good. I also got the sweet potato bread pudding. Every time I've gone to this place I've been lucky enough to be served by Marcus. He is so nice. I honestly cannot express enough how nice he is. Marcus is the type of person even if something were nasty his impeccable customer service makes us for it. I am so glad we gave this place a try because it has been well worth it

We liked this place so much we visited it twice during our time in Ponce City Market. The cocktails are just amazing! Strong and fantastically presented along with such gorgeous flavours. The bar has a great vibe too and Marcus and one of his lovely colleagues (the lady with the gorgeous nails lol!) were super friendly, efficient and helpful with our choices on each of our visits! It's a great bar for a drink and a good time! Thanks everyone !!

Everything was great from the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and especially the service. Darrell stepped in to help our waiter to accommodate us because we ordered so much food we didn’t have enough room on the table lol Darrell was amazing and his customer service rocks! Everything about this place was a win! We had jerk tacos, an off menu wings special, margaritas, strawberry bourbon smash, and a sidecar. The textures, flavors, sauces and ambiance hit all the right spots. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Will absolutely return.

I went on a Thursday early in the day , no line , no wait. Which was definitely pleasant . Such a great aesthetic. It’s done really well here . The staff was most pleasant and attentive. The food is pretty good . Really tasty sweet potato tots . One of the best side cars I’ve ever had . I will definitely be back .

Bar Vegan was absolutely delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed our food and drinks. We had shrimp and grits, potato hash and red velvet French toast. I can’t remember the name of the drinks but they were delish and strong. The almost 2 hour drive was definitely worth it.

The whole place is a total vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive. The DJ was awesome. The drinks were delicious and I don’t think I had ever had something like their Rise Up cocktail before. It was delicious and STRONG. I had the satay jerk chicken and it was delicious and the spice had quite a kick. Overall I would say if I could eat here everyday or just live at this restaurant I would.

I’ve been to Bar Vegan before, but today June01,2022 I came to Bar Vegan before attending a networking event. Jasmine was my server and she was extremely personable! I wanted to order a peach cobbler and she told me they were out, so I instantly got sad. JASMINE CAME THROUGH ! I was still able to get a peach cobbler which was DELICIOUS! I also ordered the beef cheesesteak with tater tots which were also delicious. This was a great experience and I will definitely be back for the food and the great service! Jasmine made my experience this second time exceptional 💖

This place is wonderful! Loved the drinks, music, and the environment. Lots of fancy drink options. A little pricey, but worth it. Best lemon drop love ever. Definitely would come again.

This place is upstairs in the brown building if you have trouble finding it. The place is very chill during brunch hours. The yellow drink was the vegan whiskey sour and it was strong. The red drink was the strawberry bourbon smash, and that one was more on the fruity side. We also had the chicken tacos and I think they were the best part. The food was very flavorful. The only sad part was that there is no dessert during brunch hours. I will definitely be back so I can try the desserts :)

Love the ambiance of this place! It’s great to see a fully vegan menu in such a nice location. Very comfortably spaced tables and bar with a wide variety of comfort foods and cocktails.

First time here and it was really nice! DJ on deck after 5, great music, nice vibe, and my food was delicious. My only issue was customer service. Our waitress dropped off our food and we didn't hear from her until we were ready for our check. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place!

I was craving a Philly cheesesteak but since we’re pescatarian struggled with finding one that satisfies my craving. BarVegan is the spot… but not your ordinary. Vegan food, bar with fabulous drinks, and a hip hop vibe with a DJ in the evening. Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll appreciate this restaurant.

The atmosphere was a amazing, good variety of music just loud and hard to hold a conversation. The food was good, portions were a nice amount. The drinks were good. I just felt they were a little pricey.

Visited Bar vegan yesterday afternoon and was having a great time. The cheesesteak was great and my martini was on point. I’m giving two stars because I asked to speak to the manager to inquire about reserving the room for my husband birthday coming up, and was told the manager was busy and would be with me when he had time. He walked back and forth past my table multiple times and when he finally did stop by, he got distracted by somebody else before I could even ask him about reservations. I guess we will celebrate my husband birthday elsewhere. Shame because I liked the vibe .

My experience here gets better every time I visit. This most recent time was awesome. Darrel the manager was very accommodating to me and my family. He found seating for 10 of us. My family and I enjoyed the food and drinks. The customer service was great. The vibes and music was great. We will definitely be back!

I give Bar Vegan three stars solely because the atmosphere is amazing and it’s great for photos. Let's get into this review. First, the staff was pretty much giving we are not available vibes I came early to meet a friend And I said and waited for over 10 minutes in the area when no one ever came. So I decided to sit at the bar because I was looking like the only place where you would get service at that time. I ordered 2 Rocktails as I waited for my friend to arrive! The drink was good but not worth $16.00! When she arrived we ordered an appetizer of the truffle fries and they were really good I can honestly say that. For the main dish ordered the cheesesteak on my friend ordered the egg rolls and street corn( Which was probably the best thing on the menu) the cheesesteak was just too bland for me and I couldn’t get past the fake cheese taste and no flavor! My friend had the egg rolls and the only reason it was good was because of the sauce otherwise dryyyyy! The street 🌽 was my favorite! My biggest problem was the automatic 20% gratuity! I mean for 134.00 I felt robbed for what I got! I probably won't revisit because there was no shock and awe for me!

I waited a long time to go after it opened up because of the pandemic numbers. Went there this past Saturday with my Sister, she is pescatarian. It was our first time there, and it was hardly anyone there. Which was good, it was actually kind of dead. The host at door gave us 1 menu. I finally got a second menu. Finally the waitress went over the drink and food menu but when I asked if I could substitute the tator tots for steak fries. The waitress said that the establishment usually doesn't do substitutes. My eye kept looking at the price and for that I should at least be able to choose one or the other. Again the price point also for the drinks, it didn't look like anything for the price........ My sister went to use the bathroom. Came back after a while and said their was no soap in the only female bathroom. The good thing is I carry a bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse. The waitress bought our food out, but I was not impressed. She disappeared, never really checked on us. I was ready to go already, I had to go use the bathroom since we got there, and I went looking for it. I found it and had to sit for a moment waited for either or bathroom male or female at this point. both were occupied. A female staffer walked out the bathroom and as I walked in I thought... maybe she was changing the soap.....but I was wrong. Guess what? Still no soap. I was shocked, that she was in that bathroom a while...still no soap. Hand sanitizer does a temporary fix but I like to was my hands after I've been in the bathroom. I got back to the table and finally when the waitress resurfaced I let her know there was no soap......and was needing some cleaning. I will not be returning back, I get the concept but it was overpriced......for my experience first time at Bar Vegan. I don't mind paying a higher price....but the service needs to follow. You have a great idea Bar Vegan, but the staff looks like it needs some work....that really soured my experience.

Awesome time!!! I am visiting from Houston and was looking to try something different but still wanted a good vibe with my food. Bar Vegan DID NOT disappoint! The DJ has been 🔥 all night and our server Marcus has impeccable attention to detail and suggested great menu items. My boyfriend is allergic the peanuts so I was a little nervous about his options. The menu had a large selection and we enjoyed everything including cocktails. Will definitely be back!

I visited this place on a Monday to treat myself. This was close to being the most delicious philly ever... if it was real meat.. The sweet potato tots are very good not sweet just tangy enough. And the bread was soft. I wanted to have a drink but they were only doing take out it was, in my opinion a little expensive almost $20 for a non meat Philly and sweet potato tots. But it was very very good I would go back

Amazing experience! JEANA W. was my server, and she was excellent - kept checking on me and answered all my questions. The venue is aesthetically beautiful and the vibe is "grown and sexy". And the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! You will forget the "meat" is not there! I had the Rise Up drink, and bourbon wings - just fabulous! I will definitely come back and bring some people with me!!!!

I love this place, the ambience and the atmosphere was great! Service was fast and the food/drinks were amazing!!! They music selection was good also. My only complaint is the music was too loud. Definitely need one in the DMV/NC area.

Phenomenal experience. Beautiful vibe, amazing customer service, good food and drinks 10/10. They did not disappoint or come to play! Parking isn’t ideal but we made it work.
